Abstract

The spread of PM2.5 pollutants that endanger health is difficult to predict because it involves many atmospheric variables. These micron particles can spread rapidly from their source to residential areas, increasing the risk of respiratory disease if exposed for long periods. The prediction system of PM2.5 propagation provides more detailed and accurate information as an early warning system to reduce health impacts on the community. According to the idea of transformative computing, the approach we propose in this paper allows computation on the dataset obtained from massive-scale PM2.5 sensor nodes via wireless sensor network. In the scheme, the deep learning model is implemented on the server nodes to extract spatiotemporal features on these datasets. This research was conducted by using dataset of air quality monitoring systems in Taiwan. This study presents a new model based on the convolutional recursive neural network to generate the prediction map. In general, the model is able to provide accurate predictive results by considering the bonds among measurement nodes in both spatially and temporally. Therefore, the particulate pollutant propagation of PM2.5 could be precisely monitored by using the model we propose in this paper.

Abstract

In our approach, a hybrid machine learning model is proposed which uses Enhanced Vector Space Model (EVSM) along with Hybrid Support Vector Machine (HSVM) classifier. Initially the social media-based information is retrieved using Enhanced Vector Space Model (EVSM). EVSMs are employed in order to characterize the text content by mapping them into high-dimensional vector spaces, capturing the relationships between words and their contextual meanings. Rigorous feature selection methods are employed to designate texts for review, and a multiclass semantic classification algorithm, specifically the HSVM classifier, is utilized for categorization. Decision tree algorithm is used along with SVM to refine the selection process. To enhance sentiment analysis accuracy, sentiment dictionaries are not only presented but also extended through the expansion of Stanford's GloVE tool. To enhance precision, the proposed work introduces weight-enhancing methods for processing renowned text weights. Sentiments are classified into positive, negative, and neutral categories. Notably, the achieved results demonstrate improved accuracy, attributed to the incorporation of an emotional sentiment enhancement factor for determining weights and leveraging sentiment dictionaries for word availability. The accuracy is obtained to be 92.78% with 91.33% positive sentiment rate and 97.32% negative sentiment rate. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Power efficiency needs to be monitored to avoid adverse effects on electricity users, particularly those with significant inductive loads. However, current monitoring devices are limited in their ability to continuously record data and represent outputs effectively. This study designs an IoT-based reactive power and power factor monitoring system using a RESTful API for electrical equipment at a Muhammadiyah orphanage. The proposed system utilizes the PZEM-004T as the power sensor, the ESP32 microprocessor as the data processing unit, and a web server as the interface for settings and data visualization. Measurement records for reactive power and power factor can be stored in internal data storage. Additionally, remote monitoring can be conducted via WebSocket protocol and the Telegram application. The system has been tested by comparing reactive power, power factor, kWh, and cost with a standard power meter. The results demonstrate that the sensor exhibits an error of 9.02% in current measurement and 1.106% in active power measurement, with an average delay of 0.137 seconds via WebSocket-based server and 1.359 seconds using Telegram application.

Abstract

Dental disease is the first complaint of 10 major diseases in Indonesia. Almost the entire population of Indonesia has dental and oral health problems. Delay in early detection of dental and oral health problems can result in loss of productivity, longer duration of treatment, loss of teeth, higher costs, complications with other organs, which can lead to death due to cancer. We propose the invention concerns wireless oral image recording instruments and identification methods thereof. Several existing inventions do not yet have the following features including wireless connection, object detection, and prediction of oral and dental diseases that integrate the knowledge of clinical experts using the application. The purpose of this invention was to add to the features mentioned above by using Artificial Intelligence of Medical Things (AIoMT) concept, designing object detection based on deep learning (DL) algorithms, and integrating prediction systems high performance using collaborative datasets. This invention integrated intraoral image recording hardware in the Intraoral Camera Unit (ICU) with software in the Display Processing Unit (DPU) which produces visualization of predicted results, and a webserver unit as a data collection unit and image classifier according to the validated disease interpretation. The integration of these three units can then be used by medical scholars, researchers and medical practitioners to strengthen the reliability of the interpretation process, especially related to oral diseases using an integrated digital dental support system.
