The out-of-control action plan (OCAP) is crucial in the wafer probing process of semiconductor manufacturing as it systematically addresses and corrects deviations, ensuring the high quality and reliability of semiconductor devices. However, the traditional OCAP involves many redundant and complicated processes after failures occur on production lines, which can delay production and escalate costs. To overcome the traditional OCAP's limitations, this paper proposes a novel OCAP aimed at enhancing the wafer probing process in semiconductor manufacturing. The proposed OCAP integrates proactive measures such as preventive maintenance and advanced monitoring technologies, which are tested and verified through a comprehensive experimental setup. Implementing the novel OCAP in a case company's production line reduced machine downtime by over 24 h per week and increased wafer production by about 23 wafers per week. Additionally, probe test yield improved by an average of 1.1%, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed method. This paper not only explores the implementation of the novel OCAP but also compares it with the traditional OCAP, highlighting significant improvements in efficiency and production output. The results underscore the potential of advanced OCAP to enhance manufacturing processes by reducing dependency on human judgment, thus lowering the likelihood of errors and improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Abstract Purpose: To evaluate the effects and mechanisms of andiroba-based emulsion (ABE) topical treatment on full-thickness cutaneous wounds in rats. Methods: The wounds were harvested on days 3, 7, 15, and 20 post-surgery. Wound contraction rate, quantitative immunohistochemistry [macrophages, myofibroblasts, capillaries, collagens (col) I and III, transforming growth factor β3β (TGFβ3)], and tensile strength were assessed. Results: Treated wounds were smaller, contracted earlier and had increased angiogenesis, fewer CD68+ and M2 macrophages on days 7 and 15, but higher on day 20. Myofibroblasts appeared on days 3 to 7 in untreated wounds and on days 7 to 15 in treated wounds. TGFβ3 levels were higher in the treated wounds, less dense collagen fibers, lower col I/III ratios and a higher tensile strength. Conclusion: These results demonstrate the important anti-inflammatory role of treatment and the associated modulation of macrophages, myofibroblasts, and TGFβ3 levels. Collagen fibers in the treated wounds were more organized and less dense, similar to unwounded skin, which likely contributed to the higher tensile strength.

INTRODUCTION: Lipomas are the most common benign mesenchymal tumors. Nevertheless, they are infrequent in the face, particularly giant lipomas, which are derived from the buccal fat pad. The literature regarding these tumors is scarce and their incidence is likely underestimated. METHODS: We present a case report of surgical treatment of a relapsed giant buccal and temporal lipoma and review the related English literature in Pubmed and that in the Brazilian Journal of Plastic Surgery. RESULTS: The tumor, which anatomically and morphologically corresponded to the buccal fat pad, was completely excised by facial and temporal access without sequelae to the facial nerve. A total of 31 reported cases of lipoma originating from the buccal fat pad were found; however, several were found and reported under other names. DISCUSSION: The buccal fat pad is larger and more complex than assumed, and several pathologies are derived thereof, making the differential diagnosis of simple lipoma with fusiform cell lipoma and liposarcoma difficult due to their extreme similarities. CONCLUSION: In lipomatous lesions of the face, the possible origin in the buccal fat pad must be considered. An extensive study of these lesions with the purpose of standardizing the terminology and determining its real incidence must be performed.

INTRODUCTION: The technique and technology lipoaspirate autotransplantation to the breast with the aim of aesthetic appearance and reconstruction has strongly advanced; further, its acceptance by doctors and patients has also improved. The author reports cosmetic breast augmentation and performed a literature review, focusing on the efficacy, carcinogenic potential, and imaging diagnosis. METHOD:A literature review was performed using English-language articles from the PubMed database and the Brazilian Journal of Plastic Surgery (RBCP); in addition, case series of the initial experience of the author has been described. RESULTS: The volume remained stable from the second month, and there were no postoperative complications. Imaging did not show any pathological alterations. In all, 24-related articles were selected. DISCUSSION: Among the 24 articles, only two prospective non-controlled studies were found, but overall, imaging diagnostic tests did not reveal problems, the carcinogenic potential was not increased, and case series had positive results. CONCLUSION: The procedure is reproducible, safe and effective, and reinforces the use of this technique in breast reconstruction and as an option in cosmetic breast augmentation. However, it may require a longer learning curve to avoid complications and achieve good results.

INTRODUÇÃO: Os sulcos periorbitários e zigomático e o malar flácido estão entre as características mais marcantes de envelhecimento ou de desarmonia facial. A reposição do volume é um método simples e eficiente, e o lipoenxerto pode ser o melhor material. O presente trabalho traz uma análise de 31 pacientes submetidos a autolipoenxertia, com ênfase na eficácia e na segurança da técnica. MÉTODO: Análise retrospectiva de 31 pacientes consecutivos, submetidos a lipoenxertias periorbitária e malar, concomitantemente ou não a outros procedimentos estéticos. A avaliação foi feita por meio de comparação entre fotografias pré e pós-operatória, bem como pelo grau de satisfação dos pacientes. RESULTADOS: Dos 31 pacientes, 26 (83,9%) classificaram o resultado pós-operatório como ótimo, 3 (9,7%), bom, e 2 (6,4%), regular. Na avaliação dos autores, 24 (77,5%) pacientes apresentaram resultado ótimo, 5 (16,1%), bom, e 2 (6,4%), regular. Houve necessidade de retoque de lipoenxertia em apenas 4 pacientes, por sugestão do cirurgião. As complicações foram mínimas e passageiras. CONCLUSÕES: A lipoenxertia facial é fácil e eficaz, e as complicações são mínimas quando realizada por cirurgiões qualificados.BACKGROUND: Periorbital and zygomatic hollows as well as flaccid cheeks are among the most evident characteristics of aging or facial disharmony. Volume replacement is a simple and efficient procedure, and fat grafting is considered as the best treatment for these characteristics. This study evaluates 31 patients who underwent autologous fat grafting and emphasizes the safety and efficacy of this procedure. METHODS: A retrospective analysis of 31 consecutive patients who underwent periorbital and zygomatic fat grafting, alone or in combination with other cosmetic procedures, was carried out. Final evaluation was performed by assessing pre- and postoperative photographs as well as the degree of patient satisfaction. RESULTS: Of 31 patients, 26 (83.9%) reported excellent postoperative outcomes; 3 (9.7%), satisfactory outcomes; and 2 (6.4%), poor outcomes. According to the authors' evaluation, 24 (77.5%) patients had excellent outcomes, 5 (16.1%) had satisfactory outcomes, and 2 (6.4%) had poor outcomes. Retouching of the fat graft was recommended for only 4 patients. The complications observed were minimal and transient. CONCLUSIONS: Facial fat grafting is a simple and effective procedure that presents minimal complications when performed by skilled surgeons.

INTRODUÇÃO: O tratamento do terço superior da face deve ser amplo, englobando as regiões frontal e temporal. Entretanto, em decorrência das potenciais complicações e da cicatriz extensa, o lifting coronal tem sido evitado e substituído por técnica endoscópica e procedimentos menos invasivos, porém, talvez, menos eficazes. O objetivo deste estudo é propor uma tática cirúrgica com eficácia similar à do lifting coronal, sem, no entanto, as complicações típicas desse procedimento. MÉTODO: Foi realizada análise retrospectiva de 20 pacientes do sexo feminino, consecutivas, com média de idade de 53,3 anos, submetidas a lifting cervicofacial, no período de fevereiro de 2008 a julho de 2011. Foram avaliadas a sensibilidade da região abordada (anestesia, hipoestesia, hiperestesia, parestesia), a função motora do ramo temporal do nervo facial (movimento do músculo frontal), e a cicatrização (alargamento e alopecias). RESULTADOS: Não houve complicações sensitivas ou motoras, bem como vasculares. Também não foram observados alargamento cicatricial ou alopecias. Uma paciente precisou de revisão da miectomia dos músculos corrugadores e outra foi submetida a miectomia do músculo orbicular lateral do olho, para otimização do resultado. CONCLUSÕES: A tática é segura, simples, não necessita de equipamentos ou materiais especiais, e tem a vantagem da ampla e boa distribuição cutânea, englobando as regiões frontal e temporal.BACKGROUND: Surgical treatment of the superior third of the face should usually involve an extensive area, including the frontal and temporal regions. However, the open coronal technique has been avoided because it carries a risk of potential complications and a wide scar. The technique has been supplanted by endoscopic and other less-invasive techniques, which are perhaps less efficacious. This article proposes an open technique that maintains the coronal lifting efficiency without its typical complications. METHODS: A retrospective analysis of 20 consecutive female patients who underwent cervicofacial facelift from February 2008 to July 2011 was performed. The patients had a mean age of 53.3 years (range, 46-71 years). The sensitivity of the regions covered (i.e., anesthesia, hypoesthesia, hyperesthesia, paresthesia), motor function of the temporal branch of the facial nerve (i.e., frontal muscle movement), and healing (i.e., widening and alopecia) were evaluated. RESULTS: There were no sensory, motor, or vascular complications. Moreover, neither cicatricial enlargement nor alopecia was observed. One patient required revision of the corrugator muscle myectomy, and another underwent myectomy of the lateral orbicularis muscle of the eye for optimal results. CONCLUSIONS: The proposed technique is simple, safe, does not require special equipment or devices, and has the advantage of wide and harmonious distribution of the flap, including the temporal and frontal regions.

A falange distal é funcionalmente importante e deve ser reimplantada em casos de acidente. A técnica de eleição é microcirúrgica, porém a anastomose da veia pode ser extremamente difícil ou impossível, principalmente em crianças pequenas. Este artigo reporta um caso de reimplante microcirúrgico da falange distal do dedo mínimo em uma criança de sexo masculino, de um ano de idade, que sofreu amputação da falange distal do dedo mínimo tipo "guilhotina", na porta residencial. A falange foi reimplantada 8 horas após a amputação, com anastomose de uma artéria e uma veia extremamente finas. A região apresentou congestão, que durou mais de uma semana, porém sem necrose, não necessitando condutas coadjuvantes. Neste artigo, que também faz revisão bibliográfica da conduta no retorno venoso difícil em crianças dessa faixa etária, várias técnicas foram revistas e apresentadas na solução de retorno venoso difícil, assim como os fatores que influenciam a sobrevivência da parte amputada, porém não há um estudo específico de conduta para essa faixa etária. A criança, provavelmente, tem melhor recuperação ou readaptação funcional, porém a parte amputada tem as mesmas chances de sobrevivência no reimplante, e algumas técnicas possivelmente não sejam aplicáveis. A literatura é escassa, sendo necessária a realização de um estudo para determinar uma conduta prática e eficiente especificamente para essa faixa etária.The distal phalanx has important functions and must be replanted in case of accidental amputation. Microsurgery is the preferred technique; however, the necessary vein anastomosis can be very difficult or even impossible, especially in small children. This paper reports a case of microsurgical replantation of the distal phalanx of the fifth finger of a one-year-old male child who suffered a crush-type amputation of the fifth fingertip in a house door. The fingertip was replanted eight hours after the amputation, with anastomosis of a very thin artery and vein. The region exhibited congestion, which persisted for more than one week without necrosis; no other procedure was required after the replantation. This paper presents a literature review of the difficulty of restoring venous return in children. Several techniques for restoring venous return in difficult cases, as well as determinants of survival of the amputated part, are reviewed and presented; however, there are no specific studies on procedures for the age group in question. Children probably have better functional recovery or adaptation than do adults, but the amputated part has the same chance of survival, and some of the techniques used in adults are not applicable in children. The literature on this topic is scant, and a study on the most practical and efficient method for fingertip replantation in small children is warranted.

INTRODUÇÃO: O umbigo é fundamental na estética do abdome, o formato vertical, alongado e fundo é desejado pelas pacientes, entretanto, nas cirurgias estéticas abdominais, a região umbilical e peri-umbilical frequentemente é negligenciada, deixando uma lacuna sem plicatura aponeurótica e sem estreitamento do anel umbilical, resultando em um umbigo alargado e "raso". OBJETIVO: Os autores apresentam uma técnica de tratamento estético e funcional do umbigo, e avaliam a sua eficácia e, principalmente, a sua segurança. MÉTODO: A técnica consiste na abordagem do umbigo com uma sutura em "U", transumbilical, que aproxima a aponeurose, fecha o anel umbilical e aprofunda a sua base. O estudo é retrospectivo do período de um ano, com 30 pacientes de sexo feminino, com idade entre 26 e 59 anos, com média de 42,1 anos, todas submetidas à abdominoplastia, exceto uma na qual foi corrigido isoladamente o umbigo inestético. RESULTADOS: Todas as pacientes ficaram satisfeitas com o tamanho e o formato estético do umbigo, não houve recidiva da diástase da aponeurose nem da hérnia umbilical, não houve complicações isquêmicas, nem de contraturas cicatriciais. CONCLUSÃO: A técnica é simples, eficaz no tratamento funcional e estético, e a sutura transumbilical provou ser segura, sem complicações isquêmicas.INTRODUCTION: The umbilicus is essential for the aesthetic appearance of the abdomen, the vertical, long and deep shape is desired by the patients, however, in traditional aesthetic abdominal surgery, the rectus sheath around umbilicus is not plicated, the ring of umbilicus is not reduced, staying a gap of weakness, and the navel is widened and flat. OBJECTIVE: The authors present a technique for aesthetic and functional repair of umbilicus, its efficacy and specially the safety, are analyzed. METHODS: The technique consists in approach the umbilicus with a "U' shape suture across the umbilicus, plicating the rectus sheath, reducing the ring of the umbilicus, and deepening its base. It's made a retrospective study of 30 female patients, with the age between 26 and 59 years, media of 42.1 years, in the period of one year, all of them were submitted a abdominoplasty, except one which is made treatment of isolated diastasis and hernia. RESULTS: All the patients were satisfied about the size and the shape of the umbilicus, there is no recurrence of diastasis or hernias, no ischemic complications was presented, nor scars contractions. CONCLUSIONS: The technique is simple, efficient with good functional and aesthetic results, and overall safe, without ischemic complications.

The relation between the production and the distribution stages is vital in supply chain management. Heuristic methods are followed to examine the effects of improper coordination between these two stages in the finished product delivery to customers.

This study proposed an enhanced simplified drum-buffer-rope (SDBR) model to be applied in a reentrant flow shop (RFS) in which job processing times are generated from a discrete uniform distribution and machine breakdowns are subject to an exponential distribution. In this enhanced SDBR model, the due-date assignment method, order release rule and dispatching rule were improved. The due dates and release dates of orders were determined by considering the total planned load of the capacity-constrained resource (CCR) in a random RFS. The deviation rate of buffer status is used as a dispatching rule to eliminate the influence of machine breakdowns. Simulations based on a real case company are used to evaluate the effective of the proposed model. The experimental results showed that our approach yields better performance than the other methods in terms of six due-date-related indexes when the product mix is with a large proportion of multi-reentrant orders and when the utilisation of CCR increases from 60 to 90%. More and more enterprises have chosen to adopt a made-to-order business model in order to satisfy diverse and rapidly changing customer demand. In such a business model, enterprises are devoted to reducing inventory levels in order to upgrade the competitiveness of the products. However, reductions in inventory levels and short lead times force the operation between production and distribution to cooperate closely, thus increasing the practicability of integrating the production and distribution stages. The complexity of supply chain scheduling problems (integrated production and distribution scheduling) is known to be NP-hard. To address the issues above, an efficient algorithm to solve the supply chain scheduling problem is needed. This paper studies a supply chain scheduling problem in which the production stage is modelled by an identical parallel machine scheduling problem and the distribution stage is modelled by a capacitated vehicle routing problem. Given a set of customer orders (jobs), the problem is to find a supply chain schedule such that the weighted summation of total job weighted completion time and total job delivering cost are minimised. The studied problem was first formulated as an integer programme and then solved by using column generation techniques in conjunction with a branch-and-bound approach to optimality. The results of the computational experiments indicate that the proposed approach can solve the test problems to optimality. Moreover, the average gap between the optimal solutions and the lower bounds is no more than 1.32% for these test problems. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
