Despite growing evidence supporting the effectiveness of MBC for depression and other mental health conditions, many physicians and mental health clinicians have yet to adopt MBC practice. In part, this is due to individual and organizational barriers to implementing MBC in busy clinical settings. In this paper, we briefly review the evidence for the efficacy of MBC focusing on pharmacological management of depression and provide example clinical scenarios to illustrate its potential clinical utility in psychiatric settings. We discuss the barriers and challenges for MBC adoption and then address these by suggesting simple solutions to implement MBC for depression care, including recommended outcome scales, monitoring tools, and technology solutions such as cloud-based MBC services and mobile health apps for mood tracking. The availability of MBC tools, ranging from paper-pencil questionnaires to mobile health technology, can allow psychiatrists and clinicians in all types of practice settings to easily incorporate MBC into their practices and improve outcomes for their patients with depression.Keywords: measurement-based care, major depressive disorder, depression, scales, outcomes, patient-reported outcome measures, implementation, measurement

Assessment of thirty-six similar named aromatic rice landraces of Bangladesh was analyzed using 36 microsatellite markers to characterize the landraces and also to establish the sovereignty of the Bangladeshi rice gene pool. With an average of 3.03 per locus, overall 109 alleles differed from 2 to 5 were detected at 36 microsatellite loci across the 36 aromatic rice landraces. With an average of 0.48, the diversity of genes ranged from 0.15 to 0.74. The polymorphic information content (PIC) values ranged from 0.14 (RM500, RM554) to 0.69 (RM496), with an average of 0.41, revealed many variations among the studied landraces. The recurrence of the most prevalent allele at each locus ranged from 31.00% (RM496) to 96.00% (RM500 and RM554). At any given locus, on average 64.33% landraces out of 36 contributed a familiar major allele. For identification and diversity estimation of aromatic rice landraces, RM496 was the finest marker as affirmed by PIC values. Two clusters were revealed with a similarity coefficient of 0.45 by a UPGMA dendrogram in SSR. All the landraces were also divided into two groups (A and B) through the model-based clustering method, confirmed by UPGMA cluster analysis. Some of the SSR markers (RM1, RM489, RM39, RM474, RM2, RM214, RM21, and RM206) generated unique alleles that were specific to particular landraces and were useful for varietal identification. Besides, the evaluation of genotypic data demonstrated the landraces under this study provided noticeable genetic diversity. Objective: The longitudinal course of neuropsychological functioning after the first manic episode in bipolar disorder is unknown. The present study evaluated cognitive change in bipolar disorder in the first 3 years after the initial manic episode. Methods: Ninety‐one newly diagnosed patients with bipolar disorder and 61 demographically similar healthy participants received a neuropsychological evaluation assessing multiple cognitive domains at baseline, 1‐year, and 3‐year time points. Patients also received clinical assessments including mood ratings at all time points. Results: Patients showed deficits in all domains at baseline, but similar longitudinal trajectories across time relative to healthy participants in most cognitive domains. For processing speed, patients showed more gains than controls from baseline to 1 year, but these gains stabilized thereafter. Patients with alcohol/substance abuse showed an initial delay but subsequent recovery in executive functioning. Patients who discontinued antipsychotic treatment showed better cognitive outcomes in verbal memory. Conclusion: Appropriately treated patients with bipolar disorder showed favorable cognitive outcome in the first 3 years after experiencing an initial manic episode, arguing against cognitive neuroprogression at this stage of the illness. Discontinuation of antipsychotic treatment may be associated with better cognitive outcomes, but clarification of the role of antipsychotics on cognitive functioning requires further investigation. Boro season is the most productive among Aus, Aman and Boro seasons. For confirming food security, we need to emphasize more on Boro season to feed more people. That's why forty entries of Boro rice germplasm were allowed to evaluate for their genetic variations in yield and yield contributing traits, their associations and also direct and indirect effects on yield. Observing means, range and all genetic parameters, selection could be done on the basis of number of effective tillers, harvest index, filled grains per panicle, unfilled grains per panicle, days to maturity and grain yield. Traits association analysis revealed that days to flowering, days to maturity and filled grain per panicle could significantly improve rice germplasm. Path analysis estimated that direct selection based on days to flowering, days to maturity and filled grain per panicle would be efficient for improvement of rice germplasm. G5 had the highest yield along with filled grain per plant, harvest index and 1000 grain weight and it could be used as potential variety for improving yield. The germplasm G7, G19, G9 and G33 could be used in further breeding program for the improvement of rice germplasm. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
