Bu araştırmanın amacı ebeveynlerin çocukluk çağı aşılarına yönelik bilgi, tutum ve davranışları ile e-sağlık okuryazarlığı düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Tanımlayıcı-ilişki arayıcı ve kesitsel tipte yürütülen araştırmanın verileri sosyal medya platformları üzerinden toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Temmuz-Kasım 2020 tarihleri arasında ulaşılan 0-16 yaş çocuğu olan 363 ebeveyn oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri Ebeveyn Tanıtıcı Özellikler Formu, Ebeveyn Aşı Davranışları Formu, Aşı Güvenirlik Ölçeği (AGÖ) ve E-sağlık Okuryazarlık Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmaya dahil edilen ebeveynlerin %85.4’ü kadın olup yaş ortalamaları 35.04±7.01’dir. Ebeveynlerin AGÖ puan ortalaması 61.09±14.19’dur. Araştırmada sosyal medya ve internetten aşılar hakkında bilgi alan ebeveynlerin Aşı Güvenirlik Ölçeği Puanları düşük olup aşılar hakkında daha olumsuz tutuma sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir (p, The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between parents' knowledge, attitudes and behaviors towards childhood vaccines and their e-health literacy levels. The data of the descriptive-correlational and cross-sectional research were collected through social media platforms. The sample of the study consisted of 363 parents with children aged 0-16, reached between July and November 2020. Banyo yenidoğan yoğun bakım ünitelerinde sık uygulanan bir hemşirelik girişimidir. Vücuttan kirleri ve vücut sıvılarını uzaklaştırarak enfeksiyon oluşumunu önlemek ve cilt bütünlüğünü korumak amacıyla yapılan banyo bebekte hipotermiye, fizyolojik durumda bozulmalara, stres ve ağrıya neden olmaktadır. YYBÜ’de çalışan hemşireler, tüm girişimlerde olduğu gibi, her bebeğin durumuna göre en uygun olan banyo yöntemine karar vermeli, bebeğin tepkilerini izlemeli ve ebeveynlere banyo yöntemleri hakkında bilgi vermelidir. Bebek banyosu ile ilgili dikkat edilmesi gereken konular; hipoterminin önlenmesi, enfeksiyonların önlenmesi, vital bulgularda stabilitenin sağlanması, bebeğin konforunun sağlanması, ağrı ve stresin önlenmesidir. Literatürde en güvenli banyo yöntemi olarak sarmalama banyo önerilmiştir.

Background: Nurses providing 24-h care for the primary caregiver role have a number of significant roles to play in potential problems or conflicts associated with patient privacy and confidentiality. Research objectives: The objective of the study is to determine the prevailing attitudes towards gossip and the patient privacy practices of nurses working in paediatric units. Research design: A descriptive and cross-sectional design was used. A Descriptive Characteristics Form, a Gossip and Rumour Attitude Scale and a Patient Privacy Scale were used to collect data. Participants and research context: A total of 112 paediatric nurses working in Turkey were included in the study. The response rate was 79.43%. Ethical considerations: Permission to conduct the study was obtained from the university’s ethics committee. The participants were informed of the aim of the study, and voluntary participation, anonymous response and confidentiality were explained to them. Findings: It was observed that nurses who had a higher education level, who were educated about patient privacy and who had read the patient rights regulations were more concerned about patient privacy. Negative correlations were found between the attitudes towards gossiping and the average scores on the patient confidentiality scale. Nurses who negatively defined gossip were more concerned about patient confidentiality. Discussion: Privacy is important for securing and protecting the personal, physical and psychological things that are important and special for patients. It is argued that obstacles to maintaining the privacy of hospitalized children and adolescents are a tolerant attitude towards gossiping, a lack of education about patient privacy and insufficient information about patient’s rights regulations and the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Conclusion: A nurse’s knowledge about the provision of patient confidentiality affects their privacy practices. For this reason, regular training sessions are recommended in hospitals.

Amaç: Yenidoğan yoğun bakım ünitesinde çalışan hemşirelerin toplubakıma hakkında bilgilerini ve etkileyen faktörleri belirlemektir.Yöntem: Çalışmaya 93 yenidoğan hemşiresi dâhil edilmiştir. Çalışmaverilerinin toplanmasında tanıtıcı özellikler formu ve “toplu bakımayönelik bilgi düzeyi formu” kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan hemşirelerden yoğun bakıma yönelik eğitimalanların oranı %67.7, yenidoğanın bireyselleştirilmiş gelişimsel bakımıile ilgili eğitim alanların oranı ise %21.5’tir. Bireyselleştirilmiş gelişimselbakım ve yenidoğan yoğun bakıma yönelik eğitim alan, yüksek eğitimseviyesine sahip ve YYBÜ çalışma süresi uzun olan hemşirelerin toplubakıma yönelik bilgi düzey puanları daha yüksek bulunmuştur.Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, yenidoğan yoğun bakım ünitesinde çalışanhemşirelerin eğitim düzeyi, YYBÜ de deneyimi ve aldığı eğitimleryenidoğanın bakımında kritik bir rol oynayan ve hemşireler tarafındansıklıkla kullanılan toplu bakım hakkındaki bilgilerini etkilemektedir.Bu nedenle yenidoğan yoğun bakımda çalışan hemşirelerin eğitimgereksinimlerinin saptanarak verilen eğitimlerle toplu bakıma yönelikbilgilerinin artacağı düşünülmektedir.

Individual innovativeness feature is the major keyto successful innovation. An examination of situationsperceived as obstacles to innovativeness will help toestablish an innovative culture correctly and plannedmanner. The study was conducted to determineinnovativeness level and the obstacles to innovativebehavior of nursing students. This was a descriptive,cross-sectional study. 279 nursing students wereincluded in the study. The demographic form,Individual Innovativeness Scale, and the Barriers toInnovativeness Questionnaire were used for datacollection. The average individual innovativeness scoreof the students was 63.53 ± 8.58, which is a low levelof innovativeness. The major barriers of theinnovativeness were lack of different lessons to supportcreativity, not planning adequate activities to supportinnovation by educational institutions, and inability toreach current information effectively due to lack ofknowledge of the foreign language, respectively. As aresult of the study, the level of innovativeness ofnursing students was low and major barriers ofinnovativeness were about education. It was suggestedthat the content of nursing education should beinnovative, creative, entrepreneurial, and useinnovative teaching methods.

Background Fathers whose infants are cared for in the neonatal intensive care unit have negative experiences and thus require support. Aim This study was carried out with the aim of performing a validity and reliability study of the Turkish version of the “Father’s Support Scale: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit” (FSS: NICU). Method The study included 165 fathers whose infants were hospitalised in the neonatal intensive care units of a university hospital and a state hospital in the west of Turkey. Findings The item-total score correlation values of the scale were between 0.26 and 0.73 and the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.91. It was found out that the test-retest reliability coefficients were between 0.78 and 0.92. The scale accounted for 48.38% of the total variance in three factors, as in the original version of the scale. Conclusion It was found that the Turkish version of the FSS: NICU was a valid and reliable measurement tool.

GİRİŞ ve AMAÇ: Epilepsi yalnız epilepsili kişiyietkilememekte, bir birim olan ailenin de etkilenmesine neden olmaktadır. Aileçocuğun epilepsi tanısı alması ile birlikte birçok sorunla yüzleşmek zorundakalmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı epilepsili çocuğa sahip annenin yaşam doyumunuve başa çıkma tutumlarını belirlemektir. GEREÇ ve YÖNTEM: Bu tanımlayıcı çalışmaya EgeBölgesi’ndeki bir ilde bulunan bir devlet ve üniversite hastanesine gelenepilepsi tanısı almış 60 çocuğun annesi alınmıştır. Annelere SosyodemografikBilgi Formu, COPE (Başa Çıkma Tutumlarını Değerlendirme Ölçeği) ve Yaşam DoyumuÖlçeği uygulanmıştır. BULGULAR: Epilepsili çocuğu olan annelerin“Yaşam Doyum Ölçeği” puan ortalamaları 19.41±7.20 olarak belirlenmiştir. Puan ortalamaları ile çocuğun epilepsi tanısı almayaşı, yılık nöbet geçirme sayısı, annenin eğitim ve çalışma durumu ile ailedeepilepsi tanısı olan başka bir kişinin varlığı arasında anlamlı bir ilişkisaptanmamıştır. Ekonomik durumu orta düzeyde olan annelerin Yaşam Doyum Ölçeği puanortalamalarının daha yüksek ve “Disfonksiyonel Başa Çıkma” tutumunu daha sıkkullandıkları bulunmuştur. Yaşam Doyum Ölçeği puan ortalaması ile Başa ÇıkmaTutumlarını Değerlendirme Ölçeği alt ölçek puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlıbir ilişki saptanmamıştır. SONUÇ: Bu çalışmanın sonuçları epilepsili çocuğu olanailelerle ilgilenen sağlık çalışanlarının bu ailelerin sağlık ve destekgereksinimlerini saptamalarına ve uygun girişimleri ve eğitimleriplanlamalarına yardımcı olabilir.&nbsp, INTRODUCTION: Epilepsydoes not only affect the person with epilepsy, but also the family. The familyhas to face many problems with the diagnosis of epilepsy. The aim of this studywas to determine the satisfaction with life and coping attitudes of the motherwith epileptic child.METHODS: This descriptive study included mothers of 60 childrendiagnosed with epilepsy from a state and university hospital in a province inthe Aegean region. Sociodemographic Information Form, COPE (Evaluation ofCoping Attitudes Scale) and Satisfaction with Life Scale were applied to themothers.RESULTS: Themean scores of the Satisfaction with Life Scale of mothers with epilepticchildren were 19.41 ± 7.20. The mean age of epilepsy diagnosis, the number ofseizures per year, the mother's education and employment status, and thepresence of another person with a diagnosis of epilepsy in the family were notsignificantly correlated. It was found that the mean scores of Satisfactionwith Life Scale of mothers with moderate economic status were higher and theyused Dysfunctional Coping attitude more frequently. No significant relationshipwas found between the mean scores of the Satisfaction with Life Scale and themean scores of the Coping Attitudes Scale.CONCLUSION: Theresults of this study can help healthcare professionals interested in familieswith epileptic children to identify health and support needs and planappropriate initiatives and training.

Statement of the Problem: Clinical experiences are source of stress for students. In pediatric clinical practice, patients are perceived as more fragile, and therefore students are experiencing more stress. Learning may be inhibited by the stressful clinical experiences. Identifying stressful situations is necessary for the development of strategies to prevent them. For this reason, this study was conducted to determine the stress levels and stressful situations of the students who participated in the clinical practice for the first time in Pediatrics Units. Methodology & Theoretical Orientation: 152 third-year nursing students completed “Turkish version of clinical stress questionnaire” and “students defining characteristics data form” in the decriptive-type study. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent samples t test. Findings: The students who gave care to the pediatric patients had the most stress related to "fear of harming the child" and "performing invasive procedure". There was a significant relationship between the stress score of the students and the performing invasive procedure. Performing invasive procedure increased stress level in students. There was a significant relationship between the stress score and asking for support from the instructor. Because of the high level of stress, the students requested support from the instructor. Conclusion & Significance: Practices in pediatric clinics cause stress in nursing students. It is suggested to make the clinical education environment positive by identifying stressful situations.

Amaç: Çalışma talasemili çocukların yaşam kalitesi düzeylerini ve etkileyen faktörleri belirlemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipte olan araştırmanın verileri Ege bölgesinde bulunan ve izin alınabilen talasemi merkezlerinde yürütülmüştür. Örneklem seçimine gidilmeyip, çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 8-18 yaş arası tüm Beta-talasemili çocuk ve adölesanların çalışma kapsamına alınması planlanmış ve çalışma toplam 98 katılımcıyla yürütülmüştür. Veriler, Talasemili Çocuk ve Adölesanları Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu ve Çocuklar için Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeğinin Çocuk Formu (Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory TM 4.0) aracılığıyla yüz yüze görüşme tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi için independent t test uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Katılımcıların %50’si 8-12 yaş grubunda, diğer %50’si ise 13-18 yaş grubundadır. Çalışma eşit oranda kız ve erkek katılımcıyla yürütülmüştür. Beta-talasemili çocukların ve adölesanların yaşam kalitesi puan ortalamaları ile tanı alma yaşı, transfüzyon sıklığı, hb ve ferritin değerleri, endokrin, işitme, kalp ve ağız diş sağlığı sorunu olması arasında anlamlı bir fark saptanmamıştır. Katılımcıların yaşam kalitesi puan ortalamaları ile okula devamsızlık durumu ve hastalıkla ilgili eğitim alma durumu arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Hastalıkla ilgili bir sağlık personelinden eğitim alan ve okul devamsızlığı bulunmayan çocuk ve adölesanların yaşam kaliteleri daha iyidir.

GİRİŞ ve AMAÇ: Araştırmanın amacı ALPS-Neo Yenidoğanın Ağrı ve Stresini Değerlendirme Ölçeği’nin Türkçe formunun geçerlik ve güvenirliğinin belirlenmesidir.YÖNTEM ve GEREÇLER: Çalışma metodolojik bir araştırmadır. Araştırmaya yenidoğan yoğun bakım ünitesinde tedavi ve bakım alan 51 yenidoğan alınmıştır. Araştırma verileri Yenidoğan tanıtım formu, ALPS-Neo Yenidoğanın Ağrı ve Stresini Değerlendirme Ölçeği ve Yenidoğan Ağrı Skalası (NIPS) kullanılarak toplandı. Ölçek; dil ve kapsam geçerliği, eş zaman geçerliği, iç tutarlık, gözlemciler arası güvenirlik açısından değerlendirildi.BULGULAR: Ölçeğin kapsam geçerlik indeks 0,90 ile 1,00; cronbach alfa katsayısı 0,70-0,81 arasında idi. Madde analizi sonuçlarına göre madde-toplam korelasyonları yeterli düzeyde yüksek bulundu. Eş zaman geçerliği için yapılan incelemede ALPS-Neo ve NIPS puanları arasında pozitif yönde güçlü bir ilişki vardı. Kappa analizine göre gözlemciler arası uyum olduğu belirlendi. Data were collected by newborn information form, ALPS-Neo pain and stress assessment scale, Neonatal Infant Pain Scale (NIPS). The scale was assessed in terms of language and content validity, concurrent validity, internal consistency, the inter-reliability among the observers.RESULTS: Content validity index of scale was between 0,90 and 1,00; cronbach alpha value was between 0,70 and 0,81. Results of the item analysis indicated that item-total correlations were satisfactorily high. For the concurrent validity found there was a positive strong correlation between the scores of the ALPS-Neo and NIPS. According to kappa analysis it was determined to be agreement between the observers.DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: ALPS-Neo was confirmed to be a valid and reliable tool.

Bebek banyosu, hijyenik, estetik, sosyo-kültürel, bireysel yararları yönünden önemli bir hemşirelik girişimidir. Günümüzde yenidoğanın banyo zamanı ve yöntemi hala tartışılan konular arasındadır. Bebek banyosunda yapılan zamansal ve yöntemsel hatalar bebeğin fizyolojik belirtilerini olumsuz etkileyebilmektedir. Ayrıca bebek banyosu stres ve ağrıya neden olabilmektedir. Araştırmanın amacı; prematüre bebeklerde silme ve sarmalama banyonun yaşam bulgularına, oksijen saturasyon düzeylerine, ağlama sürelerine, ağrı ve stres düzeyine, kendi kendini sakinleştirebilme becerisine etkisini belirlemektir. . Araştırma randomize, çapraz kontrollü klinik bir çalışma olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmaya; 33-37 gestasyon haftasında doğan ve örneklem kriterlerine uygun 35 prematüre bebek alınmıştır. Araştırma verileri, Prematüre Yenidoğanın Tanıtıcı Özellikler Formu, Prematüre Yenidoğanı Takip Formu, Yenidoğan Stres Ölçeği, ALPS-Neo Yenidoğan Ağrı ve Stres değerlendirme ölçeği, Prematüre Bebekte Kendi Kendini Düzenleme Davranışlarını Tanılama Formu ile toplanmıştır. Her bebek üç gün ara vererek iki banyo yöntemiyle de yıkanmıştır. Bebeklerin fizyolojik ölçümleri banyo öncesi, banyodan 1, 5, 15, 30 dakika sonra yapılmıştır. Bebek banyoları ağrı ve stres ve kendi kendini düzenleme davranışlarını değerlendirmek için videoya kaydedilmiştir. Today newborn bath time and method are being discussed. The temporal and procedural mistakes in infant bathing may adversely affect newborns' physiological signs. In addition, infant bath may cause stress and pain. The aim of the study was to determine the effects of sponge bath and swaddle bath in premature infants on the physiological signs, oxygen saturation levels, crying times, pain and stress level, and self-regulation ability. The study was designed as a randomized cross-control clinical study. A total of 35 premature infants who were born at 33-37 gestation week and met the sampling criteria were included in the study. The study data were collected with "Descriptive Properties Form of Premature Newborn", Premature Newborn Follow-up Form", "Newborn Stress Scale", "ALPS-Neo Newborn Pain and Stress Assessment Scale", "Self-Regulating Behavior Diagnosis Form in Premature Infants". Every baby was washed in two baths method by taking three days off. Physiologic measurements were taken before, immediately after 1, 5, 15 , 30 minutes after the bathing method. Amaç: Araştırmanın amacı yenidoğanın stresini değerlendirmede araştırmacıların ve klinisyenlerin kullanabileceği pratik bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir.Çalışma Planı: Çalışma metodolojik bir araştırmadır. Araştırmaya yenidoğan yoğun bakım ünitesinde tedavi ve bakım alan 212 yenidoğan alınmıştır. Araştırma verileri Yenidoğan tanıtım formu, Yenidoğan Stres Ölçeği ve Yenidoğan Konfor Davranış Ölçeği (COMFORTneo) kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Ölçek; kapsam geçerliği, eş zaman geçerliği, iç tutarlık, gözlemciler arası güvenirlik açısından değerlendirilmiştir.Bulgular: Ölçeğin kapsam geçerlik indeksi 0.90 ile 1.00 arasındadır. Amaç: Bu çalışmada, nebulizatör parçalarında mikrobiyal kolonizasyonu önlemek için iki farklı yöntem uygulanmış ve sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir.Yöntem: Çalışma yarı deneysel randomize kontrollü bir çalışmadır. Çalışma verileri Türkiye'nin batısında bulunan bir şehirdeki hastanelerin çocuk sağlığı ve hastalıkları kliniklerinde toplanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamına günde en az 2 kez nebul tedavisi alan 120 çocuk hasta ve annesi dahil edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamına alınan çocuklar 3 gruba ayrılmıştır. Bir gruba girişim uygulanmamıştır (kontrol grubu). Bir grubun nebul maskeleri ve setleri 24 saatte bir değiştirilmiştir. Bir grubun maskeleri ise günde bir kez su ve sabunla yıkanmıştır. Tüm grupların maske ve setlerinden 24 saatte bir sürüntü örneği alınıp laboratuvar ortamında değerlendirilmiştir.Bulgular: Araştırma sonucunda kontrol grubunda %10,8, 24 saatte bir değişim yapılan grupta %2,5 oranında mikrobiyal üreme saptanmıştır. Yıkama grubunda ise hiç üreme saptanmamıştır.Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, kontaminasyonu önlemek için nebulizatör parçaların günde bir kez sabun ve suyla yıkanması ve temiz bir havlu üzerinde kurutulması önerilmektedir.
