Job satisfaction is important in the tourism sector since workers’ satisfaction is key to providing high-quality service, which is very important in determining organizational success. The working conditions that influence job satisfaction depend to a large extent on the institutional context, which shows similarities in some European countries. This research aims to compare working conditions and job satisfaction among European country blocks that have similar institutional characteristics. Unlike previous studies, this research adopts a compre-hensive approach by considering institutional and organizational factors in the analysis of employees’ percep-tions of job satisfaction. The sample is made up of 1633 workers in 16 European countries. The results de-monstrate the existence of three different models of working conditions in Europe leading to differing levels of job satisfaction in tourism. These models do not correspond to the clusters identified by the previous literature, which adopts an institutional perspective.

[EN] Increasing food supply chain sustainability means having to deal with many conflicting aspects and involves producers, several departments in distribution companies, and consumers. The objectives of this research are to develop models to solve real-world supplier evaluation problems and validate them with real data on fresh fruits in a supermarket chain. Literature review and results from a survey with managers from purchasing, logistics, and quality departments of a food distribution company are used to establish criteria, to first model the assessment of products and, second, to model supplier evaluation. A multicriteria hybrid approach is proposed, using multi-attribute utility theory (MAUT) to assess the quality of products and Preference Ranking Organisation Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE) to complete their evaluation with strategic criteria to be included in the second phase. The results allow companies to rank suppliers by product and classify them according to the main criteria categories, such as product strategy, food safety, economic, logistic, commercial, green image and corporate social responsibility. A sorting approach is also applied to obtain ordered groups of suppliers. Finally, the models proposed can form the core of a decision support system in order to create and monitor the supplier base in food distribution companies, as well as to inform sustainable decision making.

For the study of the progress of the municipality’s local economy is highly important the knowledge of its real estate market, and especially, the commercial premises and industrial warehouses market of supply. A high dynamism of this market clearly reflects an active economy. In this paper, we present an overview of the commercial premises market in the city of Córdoba, in Spain. We analyse a lot of characteristics, such as, total price, price per square meter or the situation on the street and the geographical position. The supply evolution has also been analysed between November 1st, 2016 and May 1st, 2017, based on the data included in the real estate portal Idealista.com., Para el estudio de la marcha de la economía local de un municipio, es de gran importancia el conocimiento de su mercado inmobiliario, y en especial el mercado de oferta de locales comerciales y naves industriales. Un elevado dinamismo de este mercado es un claro reflejo de una economía activa. En este trabajo se ofrece una visión del mercado de locales comerciales de la ciudad de Córdoba, en España, analizando características como el precio total, el precio por metro cuadrado o la situación en la calle y la posición geográfica; así como la evolución de la oferta en el período comprendido entre el 1 de noviembre de 2016 y el 1 de mayo de 2017, a partir de la oferta incluida en el portal inmobiliario idealista.com.

Family and school are the two main socializing agents responsible for children’s education. In order to gain greater insight into both institutions and the necessary links between them, this study proposes the Diagnosis Scale for Family-School Relationships (DIREFAES, in Spanish) and conducts a psychometric analysis of the scale in a sample of 1,276 families from Córdoba, Spain. A statistical analysis of items confirms its discriminatory power and a factorial analysis establishes the theoretical validity of components. The study identified 13 factors that coincide to a high degree with the eight dimensions resulting from a theoretical and policy analysis and the participation of a group of experts. Finally, Cronbach’s alpha was used to confirm the reliability of the tool both as a whole (.951) and in its various dimensions (except for one; the rest were above .817)., Familia y Escuela son los dos principales agentes socializadores responsables de la educación de los niños. Con el objeto de profundizar en el conocimiento de ambas instituciones y las necesarias relaciones entre éstas se propone la Escala de Diagnóstico de las Relaciones Familia-Escuela (DIREFAES); en el presente estudio se hace un análisis psicométrico de la escala en una muestra de 1,276 familias cordobesas (España). El análisis estadístico de los ítems constata su poder discriminante y el análisis factorial demuestra la validez teórica de los componentes. Se identifican 13 factores coincidentes en un alto grado con las ocho dimensiones resultantes del análisis teórico y normativo y la participación de un grupo de expertos. Por último, a través del empleo del alfa de Cronbach se confirma la fiabilidad de la herramienta tanto en su conjunto (.951) como en las diferentes dimensiones (excepto una, el resto es superior a .817).

The city of Córdoba displays a great cultural offer inherited from its importance through history. This cultural richness is sometimes unknown by the turist. In this workpiece, we have analyzed deeply the interest aroused by thirteen appealling attractions of the city, using a questionare base don Likert scale to which sociocultural infomation has been added from a simple of the tourists who visited the city at the beginning of 2016. Consequently, some comparisons are made to analyze the differences in the degree of interest according to the sociodemographic characteristics of the interviewee., La ciudad de Córdoba atesora una gran oferta turística cultural heredada de su importancia a lo largo de la historia. En ocasiones, esta riqueza cultural, es, al menos parcialmente, desconocida por el visitante. En este trabajo, hemos analizado en profundidad el interés suscitado por trece atractivos turísticos de la ciudad, mediante un cuestionario en escala Likert, al que se ha añadido información sociocultural a partir de una muestra de los turistas que visitaron la ciudad a principios de 2016. De igual modo, se realizaron comparaciones que permitieron analizar las diferencias en el grado de interés en función de las características sociodemográficas del entrevistado.
