El treball que trobareu en aquesta memòria recull tot el procés de disseny d’una taula rígida de paddle surf modular. L’objectiu perseguit és facilitar la pràctica del paddle surf, mitjançant un producte que manté les característiques bàsiques de les taules existents, però facilitant- ne el transport. La finalitat és per tant, idear un sistema d’unió entre mòduls que permeti desmuntar la taula de forma pràctica i, a la vegada, ofereixi les millors prestacions possibles per a la pràctica del Stand-Up Paddle. Per a fer-ho possible, hem seguit els següents passos: en primer lloc, hem realitzat un estudi de mercat a fi de conèixer els productes actuals, les seves fortaleses i les seves debilitats. Tot seguit, hem definit la geometria de la nostra taula, el nombre de mòduls que la composen així com el seu mecanisme d’unió i el material utilitzat. Finalment, mitjançant els programes d’anàlisi ANSYS i SOLIDWORKS hem estudiat les prestacions del nostre disseny i optimitzat el pes. Arribats a aquest punt, hem detallat el procés a seguir per a la fabricació de la taula. A més, mitjançant una impressora 3D, hem imprès un model a escala per a poder tenir un punt de vista més realista del nostre treball. Per últim, hem fet un estudi d’impacte ambiental i un breu anàlisi econòmic del projecte. De tot plegat, n’hem extret les conclusions on també proposem aspectes de millora., El trabajo que encontraréis a continuación, en esta memoria, recoge todo el proceso de diseño de una tabla rígida y modular de paddle surf. El objetivo es facilitar la práctica del paddle surf mediante un producto que mantenga las características básicas de las tablas ya existentes, pero facilitando su transporte. La finalidad es, por lo tanto, idear un sistema de unión entre los módulos que permita desmontar la tabla de forma práctica, y a su misma vez, ofrezca las mejores prestaciones posibles para la práctica del Stand-Up Paddle. Para ello, hemos seguido el siguiente proceso: en primer lugar, hemos realizado un estudio de mercado para poder conocer los productos actuales, sus fortalezas y sus debilidades. Después, hemos definido la geometría de la tabla, el número de módulos que la compondrán, así como su mecanismo de unión y el material utilizado. Finalmente, mediante los programas de análisis ANSYS y SOLIDWORKS hemos estudiado las prestaciones del diseño i optimizado el peso de la tabla. Llegados a este punto, hemos detallado el proceso a seguir para la fabricación de la tabla. Además, mediante una impresora 3D, hemos imprimido un modelo a escala para poder tener un punto de vista más realista de nuestro trabajo. Por último, hemos realizado un estudio de impacto ambiental y un breve análisis económico del proyecto. De todo ello, hemos extraído las conclusiones donde también hemos enumerado alguna propuesta de mejora, This report compiles the entire design process of a modular rigid paddle surfboard. The objective is to facilitate the practice of paddle surfing, by means of a product that maintains the basic characteristics of existing boards as well as facilitating the transport. The aim of the work is therefore, to devise an assembly system between modules that allows the user to experience the best possible performance of Stand-Up paddle, but also to dismantle the board in a practical way for transportation. To make this possible, in the design phase we have taken the following steps: firstly, we carried out market research to assess the current products’ strengths and weaknesses. Next, we defined the geometry and number of modules for our board, the assembly mechanism and the material to be used. Finally, using the ANSYS and SOLIDWORKS analysis programs, we have studied the performance of our design to optimise the weight. Following the design phase, we have detailed the manufacturing process for the board, as well as printing a scaled model to allow for a more realistic view of our work using a 3D printer. To conclude we have carried environmental and economic analysis of the design. From all this, we have drawn the conclusions where we also propose aspects for improvement

The influence of stereochemistry on the self-assembly of phenylalanine (Phe) dipeptides bearing aromatic fluorenyl groups at both the N- and C-termini (Fmoc, OFm) has been investigated. For this purpose, Fmoc–d-Phe–l-Phe–OFm and Fmoc–l-Phe–l-Phe–OFm have been examined considering a wide variety of solvents, which differ in dielectric constant and volatility. Results reveal that replacement of l-Phe by d-Phe has a major impact on the self-assembly propensities, restricting drastically the structural diversity and polymorphism shown by the homochiral dipeptide. Thus, the analogous heterochiral dipeptide shows a great propensity to form micro/nanofibers, independently of the environmental conditions. Theoretical calculations revealed that the stability of antiparallel disposition is much higher (a factor of ca. 15) for Fmoc–d-Phe–l-Phe–OFm than that for Fmoc–l-Phe–l-Phe–OFm, which has been attributed to the hydrophobic core formed in the former. Overall, results suggest that control of the backbone chirality is a potent and versatile strategy to drive and finely tune the self-assembly propensities of highly aromatic peptides.
