Aim To reflect on the lonely experience of women during the pregnancy-puerperal cycle in times of pandemic by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Method Theoretical-reflective study on the new Brazilian guidelines for care for women during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum in times of Covid-19 and its influence on the exacerbation of maternal loneliness. The discussion about the transformations of women in this period refers to Maldonado's studies. Results Motherhood is a lonely process for women. The new technical norms that are in force bring important changes in the assistance to this cycle, mainly with regard to the importance of social distance, which intensifies the feeling of loneliness and helplessness. Final considerations This reflection can guide health professionals, especially the work of nurses in the scope of obstetrics, so that during the assistance to women in the pregnancy-puerperal cycle, they pay attention to the subtlety of feelings of loneliness that can interfere with maternal well-being fetal. - Abstract
Objective: to unveil the reasons why women stay in marital relationships marked by violence. Method: a qualitative study, grounded on the Oral History method, carried out with 29 women victims of marital violence monitored by a Court of Domestic and Family Violence against Women in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. The data were collected between September and December 2020 through individual interviews and analyzed in the light of the Theory of Everyday Life. Results: the women's Oral History points to non-perception of the abuse situation at the beginning of the relationship and reveals the belief in the possibility of controlling the episodes of violence and the impairment of psycho-emotional health. The expectation that the partner will change his position in marital everyday life is added to this. Conclusion: the narratives unveil the complexity involved in the repetition of everyday life, which means that many women, even though they already recognize themselves as experiencing violence, are unable to break the relationship. The authors aim to investigate the meanings attributed by health professionals working in the Family Health Strategy to women‟s remaining in violent conjugal relationships. The research is based in the method of Grounded Theory. Interviews were held between May and August 2012 with 52 professionals who work in Family Health in a city in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. It is indicated that violence is related to the threats made, to the partner‟s involvement in drug trafficking, to economic and emotional dependence, to the valuing of marriage, to the belief in female submission, and to shame. The professionals indicate the need for strategies in defense of a life free from violence for women: psycho-social support; educational activities regarding the social construction of gender; and articulation of policies based on intersectoriality. Violence against women, especially that takes place in the marital relationship, is a serious public health problem, and its understanding is of interest in social, political and academical debates. This research aimed to understand the meanings of the experience of domestic violence by women in legal process. It is a descriptive-exploratory research with a qualitative approach, linked to the Study Group "Violence, Health and Life Quality" through action research "Re-education of men and women involved in criminal proceedings: strategy of fighting against domestic violence", funded by the Bahia Research Foundation. The theoreticmethodological framework used was Grounded Theory. The scenarios chosen for the research were two Offices of Domestic and Family Violence against Women, at State of Bahia, Brazil. The participants were 37 collaborators divided into two sample groups. Data were collected between November 2014 and May 2015. The data organization was made in three interrelated steps: open coding, axial coding and selective coding. From abstractions, analysis, reflection and systematization of the categories emerged the phenomenon. The ethical aspects of free will, non-harming, well-doing, justice and fairness were fulfilled by the research, as required by Resolution 466/12, and it was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the School of Nursing at the Federal University of Bahia (n. 877 905). The research revealed that women in judicial process experienced domestic violence expressed in the ways: property, evidenced by the theft of assets and personal documents, lack of necessary resources for subsistence and home withdrawal; psychological, through threats, control, humiliation and embarrassment; moral, featured by insults and defamation; sexual, demonstrated by obligating the sexual act against the woman will; and physical, by assaults. This marital routine harms physical and mental health of women and their children, expressed by visible signs, such as bruises and gashes, and low self-esteem, sadness, fear and depression. It is revealed yet implications for human development of women, as a result of social isolation and not qualifying for the job market, and children, related to the decrease in school performance, introspection and vulnerability to drug use. These findings can guide strategies to update health professionals to recognize this harm, an essential condition for sheltering and empowerment of women looking for a life free of violence.

- Abstract
The scope of this article was to understand the constituent elements of masculinity taught/learnt in childhood/adolescence and reproduced by men in criminal proceedings for conjugal violence. Oral Life History was used as a methodological reference. Interviews were conducted with 13 men in criminal proceedings for domestic violence. The data were organized according to thematic content analysis and interpreted in the light of the theoretical framework on masculinity. Based on male orality, the constitutive elements of masculinity that were taught/learnt in childhood and adolescence and reproduced by men in criminal proceedings for conjugal violence went through infidelity, overvaluation of work, family provisioning, imposition of family norms and dominance of power in relation to women. Considering that these elements are rooted in the hegemonic model, preventive actions with a focus on social, financial and health commitment are a pressing requirement.

- Abstract
Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) is a recurring phenomenon in society and can have important repercussions for the lives and health of women worldwide. Even in this alarming global scenario, many health workers still have difficulties approaching IPV with women and providing care for the victims of this type of violence. Given this context, this qualitative study aims at understanding how primary health care professionals provide care for women victims of violence by intimate partners. In view of the methodology design proposed in the Grounded Theory, data collection took place through theoretical sampling. Data collection was carried out in 22 institutions offering primary health care, with 31 female workers from different professional categories being interviewed individually and in depth, including physicians, nurses, dentists, psychologists, and social workers. The results show that, in order to overcome the difficulties encountered in caring for victims of IPV, primary health care workers have been developing strategies for the care of these women. These strategies include identification of such cases through questions about the woman's intimate relationship, by establishing a bond with the victim so that she feels welcomed, and through articulation with other team professionals to propose expanded health care. The interventions carried out by these professionals include meeting the demands of women in the health institution where they work, referral to other services in the network, if necessary, and notification of IPV cases to epidemiological surveillance. Based on this understanding of the care offered by the professionals to women who are victims of IPV in primary health care, the research aims at contributing to the sensitization of professionals working in health institutions regarding the identification of signs that raise suspicion of IPV, as well as at addressing such cases in a way to fully meet these women's needs.
