introduction. breast cancer has a growing trend. the number of breast cancer patients in young women increases, associated with pregnancy. cases of pregnancy-associated mammary gland cancer (cgmas) and gestosis are increasing, requiring treatment and minimizing preoperative risks for surgical treatment in the first trimester of pregnancy. material and methods. 12 patients with cgmas and medium gestoses were included in the study. the patients were administered the medicinal remedy “y”, studying the clinical and laboratory data in accordance with the research protocol, approved by the ethics committee. statistical processing was performed using modern mathematical methods and the generally accepted statistical processing software “statistical package for the social sciences” spss 17 for windows 10.0.5 (spss, chicago, il, usa) and “graphpad prism® 5.0 for windows 5.0 (graphpad software, inc.). results. following the administration of the claimed method in patients with cgmas and gestoses, the basic parameters improved - blood pressure normalized in 10 (83.3%) patients, pulse normalized in 11 (91.7%), nausea disappeared in 10 (97.3%), vomiting at 12 (100%), hypersalivation at 11 (91.7%), headache - at 11 (91.7%), sleep disturbances at 12 (100%), uterine tone at 12 (100%), low fever at 12 (100%), etc. laboratory indices also normalized at the same time. conclusion. the use of the medicinal remedy “y” in the treatment of early gestoses of moderate severity is effective through detoxification and confirmed by the improvement of the patients’ condition and laboratory indicators. 4o

Managing family conflicts is crucial, beginning with early identification and ongoing monitoring, alongside implementing legal measures to prevent violent acts stemming from these conflicts. Various socio-economic factors such as discrimination, social alienation, and inequality contribute to frustrations that can lead disadvantaged individuals towards hostility and, in extreme cases, violence. Economic struggles like poverty, marital breakdowns, and unemployment exacerbate these tensions. These conditions significantly impact child-rearing and education. Specifically, physical child abuse, domestic violence, familial mental health issues, and substance abuse are particularly implicated in the emergence of violence within families.

This study evaluated the impact of the encapsulation of sea buckthorn and grape pomace extracts in liposomal formulations on the retention and release of bioactive compounds and their antioxidant activity. The profile and composition of lipophilic extracts of sea buckthorn and hydrophilic extracts of grape pomace were analyzed. Encapsulation efficiency, retention rate, and the content of bioactive compounds encapsulated in liposomal formulations prepared in two media—water and ethanol—were evaluated. The encapsulation efficiency varied between 84 and 90%, indicating the superior encapsulation of the bioactive compounds. The retention rate varied between 79 and 86%, which indicated the stability of the liposome-encapsulated compounds over time. The antioxidant activity of the encapsulated samples was determined in vitro, under the conditions of gastric (pH 1.8) and intestinal (pH 8.2) digestion, in relation to the non-encapsulated extracts. The antioxidant activity of both liposomal formulations was higher than that of the nonencapsulated extracts during gastric digestion. Moreover, an increase over time in the antioxidant activity, expressed as % DPPH inhibition, was observed for all samples, with around 90% DPPH inhibition for non-encapsulated extracts and 92% for the encapsulated extracts, demonstrating the stability of bioactive compounds in acidic pH. Oppositely, when exposed to intestinal simulated digestion (alkaline pH), the antioxidant activity decreased over time to around 24% DPPH inhibition for both encapsulated and nonencapsulated extracts. These results provide a foundation for the further development and application of liposomal delivery systems in functional foods.

Abstract Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), and fibromyalgia (FM) are two chronic complex diseases with overlapping symptoms affecting multiple systems and organs over time. Due to the absence of validated biomarkers and similarity in symptoms, both disorders are misdiagnosed, and the comorbidity of the two is often unrecognized. Our study aimed to investigate the expression profiles of 11 circulating miRNAs previously associated with ME/CFS pathogenesis in FM patients and individuals with a comorbid diagnosis of FM associated with ME/CFS (ME/CFS + FM), and matched sedentary healthy controls. Whether these 11 circulating miRNAs expression can differentiate between the two disorders was also examined. Our results highlight differential circulating miRNAs expression signatures between ME/CFS, FM and ME/CFS + FM, which also correlate to symptom severity between ME/CFS and ME/CFS + FM groups. We provided a prediction model, by using a machine-learning approach based on 11 circulating miRNAs levels, which can be used to discriminate between patients suffering from ME/CFS, FM and ME/CFS + FM. These 11 miRNAs are proposed as potential biomarkers for discriminating ME/CFS from FM. The results of this study demonstrate that ME/CFS and FM are two distinct illnesses, and we highlight the comorbidity between the two conditions. Proper diagnosis of patients suffering from ME/CFS, FM or ME/CFS + FM is crucial to elucidate the pathophysiology of both diseases, determine preventive measures, and establish more effective treatments.

The need to improve the methods of collecting and detecting value-added tax amounts is an increasingly difficult process for tax authorities. In this respect, a rigorous analysis of the ways in which the state manages to prevent or combat VAT evasion, in the context in which VAT fraud accounts for about 60% of Romania's total tax evasion, is required. Therefore, the new provisions concerning the VAT split payments, applicable from January 1, 2018 for all categories of taxpayers, can contribute significantly to the efficiency of collection, of the amounts derived from the VAT, as well as to reduce tax evasion in the field of value added tax and providing a fair competitive environment, by eliminating benefits for economic operators with incorrect tax behavior who do not pay VAT to the State budget. Also, through these measures taken by the state, the main motivation for the introduction of the value added tax splitpayments mechanism, contributes to the increase of the voluntary compliance degree by providing the financial resources for the payment of VAT due to the State budget.

This paper analyzes the evolution of the absorption of European funds in Romania reported to the closure period of the operational programms related to the European Union cohesion policy during the years 2007 – 2013. This programming period officially concluded only at the end of year 2015. Considering the financial aspects of the 2007- 2013 programming period for European funds the analysis focuses exclusively on the Structural and Cohesion Funds and the absorption rate of these funds in Romania, namely 90.44%, recorded in March 2017. Nearly 3 years from the start of the new programming period 2014-2020 related to the European Union’s cohesion policy, there is a direct link between the quality of public administration’s activity and the application of the principle of investment programming. Despite a slow and difficult start, we can observe an accelerated trend over the last few hundred meters. Identifying priority projects at national and regional level, followed by a alteration and adaptation of strategic documents such as National Reform Programs, could be a solution for Romania to gain a more rigorous planning that leads to a higher and faster absorption of European funds in the current programming period 2014-2020.
