Background: The impact of internet or video game addiction on physical health and diagnosis as a kind of disorder has become a crucial public health issue among emerging adults. In 2018, World Health Organization classified gaming disorder as an international disease. However, relatively few studies have examined the relationship between game disorder and health-related physical fitness outcomes. Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the status and explore the relationship between the internet game disorder (IGD) and physical fitness (PF) of emerging adults in Macao. Methods: A cross-sectional study recruited 410 emerging adults (age range 18 ��� 22, 46.8% male and 53.2% female) in Macao. The physical fitness test has conducted to collect data, and the questionnaire included background information and Internet Gaming Disorder Scale (IGDS-20) with high internal reliability (��= .88), consisting of six components. In addition, One way ANOVA, t-test, and Pearson���s correlation coefficient were used for data analysis. Result: The key findings included (1) Multivariate analysis indicated a significant effect of age, gender, year of study on the level of IGD and PF. With its advantages of ecological safety, environmental affinity, and high selectivity, allelopathic technology has been widely developed for algae inhibition. However, obtaining effective allelochemicals and realizing their mechanism are difficult. In this paper, a Chinese herbal medicine, namely, Rheum palmatum L. (Chinese rhubarb), was utilized as a source of allelopathic substances for the first time. Four units of rhubarb organic extracts were collected to study the inhibition of growth, photosynthesis, proteins, and algal toxin of Microcystis aeruginosa. Results showed that the ethyl acetate, n-butanol, and aqueous phases of the rhubarb extracts have notable inhibitory effects. After a 16-day treatment, the four extracts reduced M. aeruginosa by 64.1%, 59.3%, 61.9%, and 7.2% with disruption of algal photosynthesis and protein synthesis and reduction of algal toxin.

The molecular weight distribution and composition of organic pollutants from chemi-mechanical pulping waste liquor was studied using ultra-filtration, Fourier transform infrared spectra, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The concentration of dissolved chemical organic compounds was approximately 1.81 × 104 mg·L-1. In addition, the wastewater had poor biodegradability. The chemical oxygen demand (COD) was primarily composed of small molecular organic pollutants, and the larger pollutants in the waste liquor were its primary source of color. The data indicated that there were chromophoric and auxochrome groups in the waste liquor. The waste liquor contained 38 types of organic pollutants, which were aromatic compounds, including phenols, ketones, alcohols, and fatty acids.

The removal of cyanide compounds in soil by leaching was investigated in flask and column tests. All the experiments were conducted under alkaline conditions to prevent loss of hydrogen cyanide. Results showed that leaching progressed rapidly when the leaching temperature or the initial cyanide concentration was high. The obtained cyanide data in the flask test fitted an inner diffusion process, as described by a shrinking core model. In the batch column test, the cyanide concentration decreased from 44.06 to 9.86 mg/kg when the leaching intensity was 79 L/(m2 h) after 23.8 h leaching. The leaching process for the cyanide compounds was divided into two stages according to the batch column test despite the decrease in the leaching velocity as the cyanide concentration in soil declined. Cyanide removal in the batch column test was better than that in the flask test due to the higher gradient of cyanide concentration. The aqueous solution containing cyanide compounds was decomposed effectively by the hybrid process of ozone and UV rays. Furthermore, the leaching and decomposition of the soil and leaching wastewater were performed with a continuous column test with circulating leaching liquid. The cyanide compounds in the soil and wastewater were removed effectively.

In recent years, algae bloom phenomenon outbreaks frequently in large-scale water bodies during summer. At present, mechanical method is used to collect cyanobacteria and reduce volume. However, the characteristics of algae, namely high viscosity, small particle size and high moisture content, lead to poor efficiency of dehydration. In order to improve the dehydration efficiency of algae and achieve the purpose of volume reduction and dehydration, the dehydration performance of Microcystis aeruginosa was studied in this paper. Three filter aid agent, including Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC), Montmorillonite and Diatomite were added to the algae solution to improve filterability of Microcystis aeruginosa. The results showed that all of three filter aid agent have positive effect on the algae filtration rate, specific resistance, compression index and dehydration efficiency. Compared with the other two filter aid agents, the filtration rate of Diatomite is relatively faster. Meanwhile dehydration performance is better as well. When the dosage of Diatomite was 10.0g/L, the filtration rate increased from 0.108 L/h to 0.504 L/h. In addition, the compression index was reduced from 0.710 to 0.594. The specific resistance was reduced from 7.62 × 1010 s2/g to 2.35 × 108 s2 /g while the water content was decreased from 86.5% to 66.4%.

In order to study technological properties of aerobic thermophilic bacteria for degrading organic material of selected food wastewater, the thermophilic bacterium Thermus ruber (CCM4212) was adopted. The specific growth conditions and the ability for wastewater treatment of the thermophilic bacteria were studied and results are listed as follows: The optimal growth temperature: is among 50degC - 70degC , and pH: is 7 - 9. As wastewater was exploited processing maize dipping water. Tests were carried out on rotary shaker and laboratory bioreactor (effective volume - 4.4 L) according to suggested objectives. Original waste-water was diluted before cultivation started to reach COD about 2000 mg/L - 3000 mg/L; rotation speed of the bioreactor impeller was 300 rpm and the air flow rate was 60 L/h. After 12 hours treatment, the COD removal efficiency was about 82.5 %.
