The study evaluates the impact of oral health and other important factors on preterm birth. This is a longitudinal study. In our study 108 pregnant women participated with an age range from 15 to 46+ years old. The participants were divided into the following 4 age groups: 15-25, 26-35, 36-45, and = 46 years old. The data were entered and subsequently analyzed using (IBM, New York, USA), SPSS Statistics 23.0. The prevailing age range of the sample was from 26 to 35 years old, respectively 39% of the participants. The data collected from the present study indicated that a large proportion of patients 68% of them had dental caries, and 61% of them had gingivitis. Overall, almost 42% of pregnant women had genital infections. Forty-one patients (38%) were obese. Out of the entire study group, the number of babies born 37 weeks of gestation was 22% of births. According to the ANOVA test, the highest probability of prematurity was found in mothers with high values of gingivitis (P= .001; 95% CI 0.32-0.42), and mothers with genital infections (P= .001; 95% CI 0.69-1.04). This study showed that there is a statistically significant correlation between obesity and dental caries in relation to preterm birth (P= .002 in both cases). Neglect of oral health and other important factors such as genital infections, obesity, physical and psychological violence, and marital status is the cause of the increased risk of premature births. The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of fears from dental interventions because the fears lead to the suspension of therapeutic treatment and deterioration of oral health. The present study was conducted from February 2019 to February 2022 in Albania. The sample is composed of 180 participants, of which 40% were males and 60% were females. The participants' age range varied from 15 to 55 years old. Many of the patients 70% of them had high dental fear to receive orthodontic treatments and dental fillings, 59% of them had high dental fear to receive dental implants, and most respondents 74% of them had an extreme fear of the tooth extractions. 64% of participants surveyed stated that had gingivitis and 61% of them declared that had dental caries, compared to 53% of patients who had tooth extractions. On the basis of the data analysis, tooth extractions and dental caries had a significant impact on the high blood pressure with a P-value < .0001. The results suggest improving the dental service in Albania because providing an appropriate dental treatment reduces fear and serves as an instrument for solving oral problems. Objective: The aim of the present study was to evaluate maintenance of the original anatomy of the root canal diameters instrumented with the Mtwo rotary instruments and BioRace file systems. Material and method: Acrylic resin blocks with 160 simulated root canals with an angle curvature 15°-30° were taken into consideration in the present comparative study. The 160 simulated root canals were divided into two groups, each of them containing 80 acrylic resin blocks. Each group was divided into two subgroups (n=40 canals each). The simulated root canals subgroups were prepared with Mtwo and BioRace rotary nickel-titanium instruments. The results were scrutinized using analysis of variance (ANOVA)-test and Tukey's test. The significance level was set at P < 0.05. Results: No significant difference was noted between the Mtwo rotary instruments and BioRace files as they both had equal value in the coronal section (P=.000) in S1 (D1) and S1 (Dpi). The results of Tukey's test revealed a significant difference between the Mtwo rotary instruments and BioRace files in middle and apical section with the value (P=.003) in S3 (Dpi) and S4 (Dpi). The results of Tukey's test found out a significant difference between the Mtwo rotary instruments and BioRace files in the middle and apical section with the respective values (P=.003) in S3 (Ai) and (P=.006) in S4 (Ai). Conclusion: ccording to the findings of the present study, enlargement of the root canal diameters resulted to be better on the middle and apical section of the canal prepared with Mtwo instruments in comparison with BioRace instruments. Background / Aim: Depression as a complex mental, emotional condition, negatively affects productivity, its diagnosis requires accurate emotional analysis for patients who have an imbalance of neuro-psychiatric function. Bruxism is related to teeth grinding, jaw clenching at any time. The purpose of this study was to determination the correlation between patients with mental disorders and the occurrence of bruxism. Material and Methods: During 2019-2023 were examined 30 patients from the psychiatry department of QSU "Mother Tereza", Tirana, 13 were female, 17 male, aged 20-50 years. Also was investigated the control group with 119 students, aged 18-25. Two groups were observed according to the questionnaire related to the occurrence, content of bruxism. The treatment of the patients was combined by following methods: psychological, use of relaxing medications, prosthetic treatment by relaxant splints. Results: Bruxism with jaw muscle pain, abrasion was found in 80% of cases in the study group with a p ≤ 0.001, and 50.4% in the control group, finding a statistical relationship of bruxism between 2 groups, p = 0.01. Conclusions: Psychogenic - emotional is main factor and role in the bruxism presence. Referring our study, local and foreign authors, the treatment of this diagnosis must be done by combined therapeutic-prosthetic method.

Background: The pediatric hospital is an environment with a high level of stress for most parents. Parents experience high levels of stress if their children are hospitalized due to the fear for the loss of their child's life., Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate stress factors in parents of hospitalized children., Materials and Methods: This study was conducted from January to July 2019 at the General Pediatrics Department of Fieri Regional Hospital. The study sample was composed of 200 parents, of which 86 (43.3%) were males and 114 (56.7%) were females. The parents chosen as our sample had their children hospitalized for at least 5 days., Results: Our results showed that 80% of the sample was stressed out by waiting at the hospital, whereas 42% of them felt stressed also by their child's oral problems. Parents of hospitalized children (83%) felt stressed about the painful techniques applied to their children. Nearly 65% of them were stressed out by the hospital environment; child's sleep bruxism was considered another stressor by 39% of the sample., Conclusion: This study claims that parents of hospitalized children experience stress from different stressors such as dental visits, waiting for the diagnosis, and sleep bruxism.
