We give some structural formulas for the family of matrix-valued orthogonal polynomials of size $2\times 2$ introduced by C. Calder\'on et al. in an earlier work, which are common eigenfunctions of a differential operator of hypergeometric type. Specifically, we give a Rodrigues formula that allows us to write this family of polynomials explicitly in terms of the classical Jacobi polynomials, and write, for the sequence of orthonormal polynomials, the three-term recurrence relation and the Christoffel-Darboux identity. We obtain a Pearson equation, which enables us to prove that the sequence of derivatives of the orthogonal polynomials is also orthogonal, and to compute a Rodrigues formula for these polynomials as well as a matrix-valued differential operator having these polynomials as eigenfunctions. We also describe the second-order differential operators of the algebra associated with the weight matrix., Comment: 27 pages

Astrophysics - Astrophysics of Galaxies - Abstract
Star-forming regions are usually studied in the context of Galactic surveys, but dedicated observations are sometimes needed when the study reaches beyond the survey area. Here, we studied the G345.5+1.5 region, which is located slightly above the Galactic plane, to understand its star formation properties. We combined the LABOCA and $^{12}$CO(4$-$3) transition line observations complemented with the Hi-GAL and $\it{Spitzer}$-GLIMPSE surveys to study the star formation toward this region. We used the Clumpfind algorithm to extract the clumps from the 870$\mu$m and $^{12}$CO(4$-$3) data. Radio emission at 36cm was used to estimate the number of HII regions and to remove the contamination from the free-free emission at 870$\mu$m. We employed color-color diagrams and spectral energy distribution slopes to distinguish between prestellar and protostellar clumps. We studied the boundedness of the clumps through the virial parameter. Finally, we estimated the star formation efficiency and star formation rate of the region and used the Schmidt-Kennicutt diagram to compare its ability to form stars. Of the 13 radio sources that we found using the MGPS-2 catalog, 7 are found to be associated with HII regions corresponding to late-B or early-O stars. We found 45 870$\mu$m clumps, and 107 $^{12}$CO clumps. More than 50\% of the clumps are protostellar and bounded and are able to host star formation. High SFR and SFR density values are associated with the region, with an SFE of a few percent. With submillimeter, CO transition, and short-wavelength infrared observations, our study reveals a population of massive stars, protostellar and bound starless clumps, toward G345.5+1.5. This region is therefore actively forming stars, and its location in the starburst quadrant of the Schmidt-Kennicutt diagram is comparable to other star-forming regions found within the Galactic plane., Comment: 20 pages - 15 figures

Astrophysics - Solar and Stellar Astrophysics ,Astrophysics - Astrophysics of Galaxies - Abstract
We present the abundances analysis for a sample of 11 red giant branch stars in the metal-poor globular cluster NGC 6809 based on high-resolution spectra. Our main goals are to characterize its chemical composition and analyze this cluster's behavior associated with the Multiple Population (MPs) phenomenon. In our work we obtained the stellar parameters and chemical abundances of 24 elements (O, Na, Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Sc, Ni, Cu, Zn, Y, Zr, Ba, La, Ce, Eu, Nd and Dy). We found a radial velocity of 174.7 $\pm$ 3.2 km $s^{-1}$ and a mean iron content of [Fe/H]=-2.01 $\pm$ 0.02 in good agreement with other studies. Moreover, we found a large spread in the abundances of the light elements O, Na and Al confirming the presence of a Na-O anti-correlation a Na-Al correlation. The Mg-Al anti-correlation is also present in our cluster. The $\alpha$ and iron-peak elements show good agreement with the halo field star trend. The heavy elements are dominated by the r-process., Comment: 13 pages, 11 figures, 3 tables, accepted for publication in MNRAS

Mathematics - Classical Analysis and ODEs - Abstract
In this work we classify all the order-two Hypergeometric operators $D$, symmetric with respect to some $2\times 2$ irreducible matrix-weight $W$ such that $DP_n=P_n\left(\begin{smallmatrix} \lambda_n&0\\0&\mu_n \end{smallmatrix} \right)$ with no repetition among the eigenvalues $\{\lambda_n,\mu_n\}_{n\in\mathbb N_0}$, where $\{P_n\}_{n\in\mathbb N_0}$ is the (unique) sequence of monic orthogonal polynomials with respect to $W$. We obtain, in a very explicit way, a three parameter family of such operators and weights. We also give the corresponding monic orthongonal polynomials, their three term recurrence relation and their squared matrix-norms.

- Abstract
BACKGROUND: Several studies have described a potential anti-tumour effect of cannabinoids (CNB). CNB receptor 2 (CB2) is mostly present in hematopoietic stem cells (HSC). The present study evaluates the anti-leukaemic effect of CNB. METHODS: Cell lines and primary cells from acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) patients were used and the effect of the CNB derivative WIN-55 was evaluated in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo. RESULTS: We demonstrate a potent antileukemic effect of WIN-55 which is abolished with CB antagonists. WIN-treated mice, xenografted with AML cells, had better survival as compared to vehicle or cytarabine. DNA damage-related genes were affected upon exposure to WIN. Co-incubation with the PARP inhibitor Olaparib prevented WIN-induced cell death, suggesting PARPmediated apoptosis which was further confirmed with the translocation of AIF to the nucleus observed in WIN-treated cells. Nicotinamide prevented WIN-related apoptosis, indicating NAD+ depletion. Finally, WIN altered glycolytic enzymes levels as well as the activity of G6PDH. These effects are reversed through PARP1 inhibition. CONCLUSIONS: WIN-55 exerts an antileukemic effect through Parthanatos, leading to translocation of AIF to the nucleus and depletion of NAD+, which are reversed through PARP1 inhibition. It also induces metabolic disruptions. These effects are not observed in normal HSC.

The bioinformatical methods to detect lateral gene transfer events are mainly based on functional coding DNA characteristics. In this paper, we propose the use of DNA traits not depending on protein coding requirements. We introduce several semilocal variables that depend on DNA primary sequence and that reflect thermodynamic as well as physico-chemical magnitudes that are able to tell apart the genome of different organisms. After combining these variables in a neural classificator, we obtain results whose power of resolution go as far as to detect the exchange of genomic material between bacteria that are phylogenetically close., Comment: Submitted to Applied Computational Intelligence and Soft Computing

Condensed Matter - Statistical Mechanics - Abstract
When the output of an atomistic simulation (such as the Gillespie stochastic simulation algorithm, SSA) can be approximated as a diffusion process, we may be interested in the dynamic features of the deterministic (drift) component of this diffusion. We perform traditional scientific computing tasks (integration, steady state and closed orbit computation, and stability analysis) on such a drift component using a SSA simulation of the Cyclic Lotka-Volterra system as our illustrative example. The results of short bursts of appropriately initialized SSA simulations are used to fit local diffusion models using Ait-Sahalia's transition density expansions \cite{ait2,aitECO,aitVEC} in a maximum likelihood framework. These estimates are then coupled with standard numerical algorithms (such as Newton-Raphson or numerical integration routines) to help design subsequent SSA experiments. A brief discussion of the validity of the local diffusion approximation of the SSA simulation (a jump process) is included., Comment: 21 pages (Model Reduction and Coarse-Graining Approaches for Multiscale Phenomena, A. - Abstract
Ionic supramolecular networks are attractive materials for technological applications with unique properties such as ionic conductivity, stimuli-responsiveness, recyclability, and self-healing. Herein, new semicrystalline supramolecular ionic networks are designed from fully biobased building blocks such as tartaric acid, phytic acid, sebacic acid, and a fatty dimer diamine (Priamine™ 1071). The combination of tartaric acid with Priamine™ 1071 results in a crystalline and brittle polymer, but its molecular regularity can be controlled by incorporating sebacic acid or phytic acid, affording tough materials with appropriate mechanical properties (elastic moduli ranging 19–42 MPa). Furthermore, the ionic polymers show network-to-liquid phase transitions between 75 and 127 °C, and in the liquid state, they were found to be miscible with a lithium-based deep eutectic solvent, yielding flexible and conductive eutectogels. Altogether, these dynamic networks could open new prospects for developing fully green soft ionic materials from their combination with other innovative and low-cost eutectic mixtures.

- Abstract
The use of multicellular Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) deck panels in the rehabilitation and construction of bridges has increased over the last 30 years due to several benefits, such as: low maintenance cost, fast ins-tallation, corrosion resistance, and high strength-to-weight ratio. Due to the orthotropic nature of GFRP decks and their complex cross-section geometry, expensive computational problems may be obtained when bridges that include these elements are analyzed under traffic loads. Therefore, this paper studies the dynamic response of a GFRP-steel road bridge modelling the multicellular GFRP deck as an orthotropic plate. For this purpose, a finite element model of the hybrid structure is developed, and a sensitivity analysis is carried out to investigate the influence of the mechanical properties of the orthotropic element on the bridge behavior. The roughness of the pavement, the degree of composite action between the deck and the stringers, the multibody dynamic model of a truck, and the vehicle-bridge interaction phenomenon are included in the analyses. Results indicate that the most relevant properties of the orthotropic plate on the response of the structure are the modulus of elasticity in the longitudinal direction, the modulus of elasticity in the transverse direction, and the shear modulus.

- Abstract
We give some structural formulas for the family of matrix-valued orthogonal polynomials of size 2×2 introduced by C. Calderón et al. in an earlier work, which are common eigenfunctions of a differential operator of hypergeometric type. Specifically, we give a Rodrigues formula that allows us to write this family of polynomials explicitly in terms of the classical Jacobi polynomials, and write, for the sequence of orthonormal polynomials, the three-term recurrence relation and the Christoffel–Darboux identity. We obtain a Pearson equation, which enables us to prove that the sequence of derivatives of the orthogonal polynomials is also orthogonal, and to compute a Rodrigues formula for these polynomials as well as a matrix-valued differential operator having these polynomials as eigenfunctions. We also describe the second-order differential operators of the algebra associated with the weight matrix.

We find that CTA will open a new window of discovery potential, significantly extending the range of robustly testable models given a standard cuspy profile of the dark matter density distribution. Importantly, even for a cored profile, the projected sensitivity of CTA will be sufficient to probe various well-motivated models of thermally produced dark matter at the TeV scale. This is due to CTA's unprecedented sensitivity, angular and energy resolutions, and the planned observational strategy. The survey of the inner Galaxy will cover a much larger region than corresponding previous observational campaigns with imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes. CTA will map with unprecedented precision the large-scale diffuse emission in high-energy gamma rays, constituting a background for dark matter searches for which we adopt state-of-the-art models based on current data. Throughout our analysis, we use up-to-date event reconstruction Monte Carlo tools developed by the CTA consortium, and pay special attention to quantifying the level of instrumental systematic uncertainties, as well as background template systematic errors, required to probe thermally produced dark matter at these energies. © 2021 The Author(s)., We gratefully acknowledge financial support from the following agencies and organisations: State Committee of Science of Armenia, Armenia; The Australian Research Council, Astronomy Australia Ltd, The University of Adelaide, Australian National University, Monash University, The University of New South Wales, The University of Sydney, Western Sydney University, Australia; Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, and Innsbruck University, Austria; Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Cientifico e Tecnologico (CNPq), Fundacao de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ), Fundacao de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado de Sao Paulo (FAPESP), Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications (MCTIC), and Instituto Serrapilheira, Brasil; Ministry of Education and Science, National RI Roadmap Project DO1-153/28.08.2018, Bulgaria; The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada and the Canadian Space Agency, Canada; CONICYT-Chile grants CATA AFB 170002, ANID PIA/APOYO AFB 180002, ACT 1406, FONDECYT-Chile grants, 1161463, 1170171, 1190886, 1171421, 1170345, 1201582, Gemini-ANID 32180007, Chile; Croatian Science Foundation, Rudjer Boskovic Institute, University of Osijek, University of Rijeka, University of Split, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Croatia; Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, MEYS LM2015046, LM2018105, LTT17006, EU/MEYS CZ.02.1.01/0.0/0.0/16_013/0001403, CZ.02.1.01/0.0/0.0/18_046/0016007 and CZ.02.1.01/0.0/0.0/16_019/0000754, Czech Republic; Academy of Finland (grant nr.317636, 320045, 317383 and 320085), Finland; Ministry of Higher Education and Research, CNRS-INSU and CNRS-IN2P3, CEA-Irfu, ANR, Regional Council Ile de France, Labex ENIGMASS, OSUG2020, P2IO and OCEVU, France; Max Planck Society, BMBF, DESY, Helmholtz Association, Germany; Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Science and Technology, India; Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (INAF), Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), MIUR, Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (INAF-OABRERA) Grant Fondazione Cariplo/Regione Lombardia ID 2014-1980/RST_ERC, Italy; ICRR, University of Tokyo, JSPS, MEXT, Japan; Netherlands Research School for Astronomy (NOVA), Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO), Netherlands; University of Oslo, Norway; Ministry of Science and Higher Education, DIR/WK/2017/12, the National Centre for Research and Development and the National Science Centre, UMO-2016/22/M/ST9/00583, Poland; Slovenian Research Agency, grants P1-0031, P1-0385, I0-0033, J1-9146, J1-1700, N1-0111, and the Young Researcher program, Slovenia; South African Department of Science and Technology and National Research Foundation through the South African Gamma-Ray Astronomy Programme, South Africa; The Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and the Spanish Research State Agency (AEI) through grants AYA2016-79724-C4-1-P, AYA2016-80889-P, AYA2016-76012-C3-1-P, BES-2016-076342, ESP2017-87055-C2-1-P, FPA2017-82729-C6-1-R, FPA2017-82729-C6-2-R, FPA2017-82729-C6-3-R, FPA2017-82729-C6-4-R, FPA2017-82729-C6-5-R, FPA2017-82729-C6-6-R, PGC2018-095161-B-I00, PGC2018-095512-B-I00; the \Centro de Excelencia Severo Ochoa"program through grants no.
