The propagation of the deformation front in foreland systems is typically accompanied by the incorporation of parts of the basin into wedge-top piggy-back basins, this process is likely producing considerable changes to sedimentation rates (SR). Here we investigate the spatial-temporal evolution of SR for the Tremp–Jaca Basin in the Southern Pyrenees during its evolution from a wedge-top, foreredeep, forebulge configuration to a wedge-top stage. SR were controlled by a series of tectonic structures that influenced subsidence distribution and modified the sediment dispersal patterns. We compare the decompacted SR calculated from 12 magnetostratigraphic sections located throughout the Tremp–Jaca Basin represent the full range of depositional environment and times. While the derived long-term SR range between 9.0 and 84.5 cm/kyr, compiled data at the scale of magnetozones (0.1–2.5 Myr) yield SR that range from 3.0 to 170 cm/kyr. From this analysis, three main types of depocenter are recognized: a regional depocenter in the foredeep depozone; depocenters related to both regional subsidence and salt tectonics in the wedge-top depozone; and a depocenter related to clastic shelf building showing transgressive and regressive trends with graded and non-graded episodes. From the evolution of SR we distinguish two stages. The Lutetian Stage (from 49.1–41.2 Ma) portrays a compartmentalized basin characterized by variable SR in dominantly underfilled accommodation areas. The markedly different advance of the deformation front between the Central and Western Pyrenees resulted in a complex distribution of the foreland depozones during this stage. The Bartonian–Priabonian Stage (41.2–36.9 Ma) represents the integration of the whole basin into the wedge-top, showing a generalized reduction of SR in a mostly overfilled relatively uniform basin. During the Paleogene and Neogene the NE Iberian plate underwent significant paleogeographic changes driven by the Iberian and European plate collision and the resulting formation of the Pyrenean orogen and its corresponding foreland basin. Shortening resulted in the advance of the orogenic wedge, emplacement of allochthonous units, and progressive basin partitioning. Sediment transfer systems reacted to the evolving paleogeographic scenario, shifting from forebulge to foredeep and wedge-top settings. Critical reorganizations included successive shifts from open to close drainage conditions, which had an strong impact on accommodation, and the stratigraphic architecture of the basin infill, overfill and later erosion. The aim of this work is to synthesize the paleogeographic and sedimentary evolution of the south-pyrenean foreland, with emphasis on the reconstruction of sediment routing, the evaluation of sedimentation rate trends, the timing of sedimentary shifts and the analysis of their causes. Stratigraphic data are compiled in a comprehensive magnetostratigraphybased chronostratigraphic framework. Besides, sedimentary and structural data are put together to produce a series of palinspastically restored paleogeographic maps, which reflect five key stages in the evolution of the region. These stages include: 1) the Late Cretaceous tectonic inversion of the extended Iberian margin; 2) the Early Eocene formation of the southern Pyrenean foredeep; 3) the Middle Eocene widening and overfilling; 4) the late Eocene shift into an internal drainage; and 5) the Late Miocene drainage opening and erosion. In the light of these results, the variable role of tectonics, climate and eustacy at different time scales are discussed.

This investigation entitled: “Functional legal effect of Osiptel in the perception of protection of rights by telecommunications users. Lima 2016”, has the objective to determine what is the perception that the user has regarding the defense of his rights when he resorts to Osiptel, covering theoretical and practical aspects, for which reason an instrument that allows through a survey in terms of collecting telephony users, relevant information. This non-experimental cross-sectional design research, based on a hypothetical deductive method, has taken as sample for analysis one hundred and fifty telephony users from the Metropolitan Lima district, the applied instrument is a questionnaire, which allows collecting information on the perception of Osiptel’s function and the defense of the user’s rights. Finally, it is possible to recognize the significant negative causal relationship between the two variables., El objetivo de esta investigación es determinar cuál es la percepción que tiene el usuario respecto a la defensa de sus derechos cuando recurre a Osiptel, abarcando aspectos teóricos, y prácticos. Para ello se aplicó una encuesta a los usuarios de telefonía, información relevante. Esta investigación es de diseño no experimental transversal, de método deductivo hipotético y ha tomado como muestra para análisis ciento cincuenta usuarios de telefonía del distrito de Lima Metropolitana. El instrumento aplicado es un cuestionario que permite recoger información sobre la percepción de la función de Osiptel y la defensa de los derechos del usuario. Finalmente, se alcanza a reconocer la relación causal significativa negativa entre las dos variables.

Rocky and indented coasts host a large number of sedimentary features that typically develop associated with the irregular nature of these coasts, such as small perched lakes and bay-mouth or mid-bay barriers. Besides, the position of these basins relative to mean sea level and the occurrence of infilling transgressive aeolian deposits favor the preservation of valuable sedimentary archives that may contribute to reconstructing the coast evolution over the past, as well as to seed some light over changing regional wind field or storminess regimes. Here, two examples of coastal barriers and transgressive dune fields fronting perched lakes (Traba and Doniños, Galicia, NW Iberia), are investigated to decipher the main processes controlling their evolution. For that, Ground Penetrating Radar and borehole transects were collected to characterize the sedimentary architecture of both systems. Selected samples were dated using both accelerated mass spectrometry radiocarbon and optically stimulated luminescence dating techniques. Five dominant radar facies (Rf) and four radar surfaces (Rs) were identified within the radargrams. The identified Rf fall into two groups: (i) inclined reflections and (ii) horizontal to subhorizontal reflections. These Rf are interpreted as transgressive dunes (Rf-1), foredunes (Rf-2), channel infilling (Rf-3), scour and fill structures (Rf-4) and aeolian dune deposits with vertical aggradation or lateral accretion (Rf-5). The identified Rs are grouped into two main types: (i) erosive surfaces and (ii) boundary surfaces. Rs are interpreted as dune scarps (Rs-1), incised channels (Rs-2), water-table (Rs-3) and centimeter-thick layers of organic-rich sediments (Rs-4). A preliminary conceptual model is suggested to explain their onset and evolution, integrating all available information from both sites. La investigación tuvo por objetivo determinar si existe influencia significativa del nivel de competencias digitales en la gestión de la información de los estudiantes del programa Maestro 3.0 en Arequipa, 2017. Es una investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo pues plantea lo más relevante de un hecho o situación concreta y porque se propone explicar en qué medida las competencias digitales influyen en la gestión de la información. Según su diseño es noexperimental, transversal, de campo y retrospectivo. El estudio se realizó en una muestra de 235 unidades de investigación. La obtención de información se realizó mediante la técnica de la encuesta y con los instrumentos Cuestionario de autopercepción de la competencia digital docente, y Cuestionario de evaluación de la gestión de información, ambos con excelente confiabilidad. Se llegó a las siguientes conclusiones: en los docentes hay un nivel relativamente alto de competencias digitales y una inadecuada gestión de la información. Hay influencia significativa de la competencia digital en la gestión de información (P=0,001, R=0,227** y R2=0,052), esta influencia es de 5,2%. Por lo tanto, se rechaza la hipótesis nula y se aprueba la hipótesis de investigación. Palabras clave: Competencias digitales, gestión de la información, programa maestro 3.0.

Foreland systems are regions where the complex interplay between deep and surface processes causes that the triggers and feedbacks are not easily differentiated. Understanding the causal relationships which operate in foreland systems relies on the analysis of the sedimentary record and its placement in a robust chronostratigraphic frame. During the Paleogene and Neogene the NE Iberian plate underwent significant paleogeographic changes which include several basin-scale transitions between open to closed drainage and, at smaller scale, the basin partitioning associated to the emplacement of thrust units, leading to transitions from foredeep to wedge-top sedimentation. These changes had a strong impact on basin filling, overfilling and later erosion, evolution which was ultimately marked by the variable role of tectonics, climate and eustacy. In this presentation, the long-term trends of sedimentation in the South-Pyrenean Foreland Basin are analyzed in order to identify key moments of change in basin configuration. This is achieved thanks to the many magnetostratigraphic studies carried out in the past decades, which allowed the construction of a reliable picture of the evolving sedimentary environments and routing systems through time. We review the evolution of the South-Pyrenean sediment transfer systems and sinks, from the middle Eocene chain-parallel turbiditic troughs to the late Eocene to Miocene internally drained Ebro basin, and the final fluvial incision and drainage opening towards de Mediterranean basin.
