Commercial music artists seek celebrity capital, which has central value in the music industry and broader society. Previous literature suggests that besides advantages, fame is connected to interpersonal issues in close relationships. The marginalised celebrity discourses emerging from well-known artists' close interpersonal relationships are examined to better understand the interpersonal dynamics of fame. Relational dialectics theory is applied to study celebrity discourses in the romantic relationships of 11 Finnish music artists. Contrapuntal analysis of the data indicates that fame emerges as competing celebrity discourses privileging separateness, closedness, asymmetry, publicity and inauthenticity. The discursive interplays illuminate the dominating celebrity persona, increased mistrust, social and emotional distance, and asymmetrical power dynamics in artists' romantic relationships. These meaning-systems are linked to decreased self-disclosure and increased social distance, which are negatively connected to relationship formation and maintenance. The dominant perception of fame as harmful for relationships challenges the popular perceptions of fame as worth pursuing. Increased awareness of the interpersonal dynamics of fame can help individuals in managing the fame-related tensions in close interpersonal relationships, which are known as vital for well-being. The study analyzes the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the creative industry, focusing on the generative image creation logic of Midjourney. It highlights that the advertising and communication industry elite misjudged the effects of social media. The document details how AI reshapes creative workflows and has already become integral to visual content creation. The study provides a comprehensive overview of Midjourney’s functioning and development principles, including large language models and diffusion techniques, which allow for the creation of unique, generative images from textual descriptions. It emphasizes the creative potential of generative AIs and the challenges users face in producing high-quality and consistent images. The study illustrates various creative modes and parameterization options within Midjourney that enable users to achieve desired visual effects. It argues that international protests over the AI learning from thousands of artists’ styles are somewhat moot, as the new Style Reference parameter successfully mimics an artist’s style even without prior model training on that specific style. According to the document, generative AIs like Midjourney are not just tools but also sources of new visual styles that define future creative trends. Purpose: This study examines the effects of CLS and DS on companies' WCME and analyses the differences in WCME at company and market levels. Design/methodology/approach: This study adopts the DEA approach, regression, differences, and additional analyses to achieve its objectives. This study employs 235 non-financial companies and 1,175 company-year observations from eight active industries in the United States from 2016 to 2020. Findings: The findings indicate that CLS and DS strategies positively influence companies' WCME. Additionally, WCME differed across size categories and industries, with large companies and those operating in the communication services industry showing better WCME. By contrast, WCME did not differ between the periods before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Practical implications: This study scrutinizes the impact of CLS and DS strategies on companies' WCME to bridge the gap in this field. It extends the investigation of competitive strategies as explanatory variables for a company's WCME and examines the differences in companies' WCME at the company and market levels, which may assist decision-makers in improving their strategies and efficiencies for continuous improvement. Originality/value: This study enhances current knowledge by uncovering the influence of CLS and DS strategies on improving companies' WCME, an underexplored topic. Cyber‐Physical Systems (CPS) are at the forefront of the intersection between information technology and physical operations, revolutionizing industries such as communication, automation, control, and intelligent transportation. However, evaluating the reliability of CPS, especially in the presence of multilateral random attacks, poses a complex challenge. This paper introduces an inventive probabilistic modeling approach to enhance the analysis of CPS reliability under the influence of multilateral random attacks. We provide an overview of fundamental CPS concepts and their significant role in modern society, followed by a comprehensive exploration of multilateral random attacks. Our novel probabilistic modeling approach is presented as a means to improve the accuracy and robustness of CPS reliability assessments when faced with multilateral random attacks. The sixth generation of mobile networks (6G) has the potential to revolutionize the way we communicate, interact, and use information for machine-to-machine (M2M) communication in Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0, while also improving coverage in places that were previously considered difficult to access and/or digitally excluded, and supporting more devices and users. The 6G network will have an impact through a combination of many technologies: the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence/machine learning, virtual and augmented reality, cloud computing, and cyber security. New solutions and architectures and concepts for their use need to be developed to take full advantage of this. Sustainability has become the prevailing paradigm, a model of conduct, and a central theme in social and media discourses within the past decade. However, it is still a marginal development concept in the interdisciplinary research field dealing with sustainability communication, especially with meaning-making processes in relevant communicative, for example, in corporate and industry contexts. This paper focuses on how the idea of sustainability is framed, anchored, and disseminated in energy companies' communication via social media channels and how the linguistic methods used by energy corporations concerning sustainability co-create their symbolic value. Specifically, this study has aimed to understand how the sustainability topic was discussed in the Twitter sphere of the most prominent energy companies in 2020. This study makes a three-fold contribution to sustainable research and practice. First, the study identifies the framing structure of sustainability content in social media communication in the energy sector. Secondly, the study identifies social media data as a viable source of sustainability conceptualization and its understanding through communication. Finally, this study illustrates how text mining and natural language processing (NLP) can be used as a research method for managing big text data and a tool for discovering latent communication structures. Sustainability is present and visible in the communication of the energy industry identified by (1) the semantic construction of phrases in communication that show a future, green, and clean orientation, but it is also strongly declarative, referring to what will be and can be done, and with positive emotions related to the communicated messages; and (2) decoupling from climate change and thus avoiding the industry's responsibility for the impact of global warming but promising clean, sustainable energy transformation and to avoid negative emotional connotation. However, one gets the impression that it takes on the character of a rhetorical art form related to the concept of decorum. In this view, the idea of sustainability is interpreted and shaped through the needs of the industry and as a rhetorical tool in building a positive narrative about companies and is used to gain legitimacy. The growing concern over health and nutrition have led to the proliferation in the consumption of supplements worldwide. In Europe, the market size has reached 13,300 million euros in 2022. Nevertheless, consumers remain uninformed and deceived by products that presume to be remedies for even the most serious diseases. In the context of an industry, in which legal gaps have allowed profitability to displace ethics, it seems urgent to analyze the degree of (ir)responsibility of companies in managing the transparency of the information they provide to the consumer. This work aims to evaluate the transparency of supplements enterprises' corporate communication, exploring three different dimensions of the information provided: disclosure, clarity, and accuracy. A quantitative approach and descriptive statistics were performed using χ², based on the content analysis of 103 corporate websites. This corpus encompasses the entire universe of companies that invested in digital advertising between the years 2017 and 2021. Results show that 61.2% of enterprises do not declare themselves socially responsible on their websites, and only 13 out of 113 have issued transparency reports; product information is confusing in 45.6% of companies and lacking in 19.4%; ingredients are absent in more than half of the corpus, and empirical evidence is omitted in 83.5% of enterprises. Correctly identifying causal relations among the industries provide accurate orientation to the dynamical industry connection, which is crucial to drive the industrial structure modification and optimization for a country. Since the non-separability, causality in industrial system has different formalization, in this paper, we exploit both dynamical and statistical measures driven by industry indexes to identify direct causation from indirect ones, which the variables are non-separable, weakly or moderately interacting. Partial cross mapping is employed to eliminate indirect causal influence among the 28 industries in China, further to explore real causal links for nonlinear industrial network system. The individual, local and overall linkage effects are measured out. Data experience shows that service-oriented industries are more active than before the epidemic of COVID-19, which brings benefits to the industries of communication, bank, textile and garment. Manufacturing industry is the central node of industrial chain network, which exhibits higher and stronger motivation under the background of COVID-19, and banking sector shows a persistent and strong influence on other industries at the post-epidemic era. Purpose: Aligning corporate communications through different information sources is a great challenge for marketers, especially those operating in the tourism sector, which has been harshly affected by the recent COVID-19 pandemic. This paper provides a deep analysis of the implementation of seven basic principles of the integrated marketing communications (IMC) paradigm in a crisis situation. Design/methodology/approach: In-depth interviews with tourism and hospitality service providers were conducted in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Croatia, a destination that showed remarkable results in terms of the number of international tourist arrivals during the pandemic. Findings: Most firms successfully transitioned from tactical to strategic IMC implementation. Some problems were reported in the coordination of communication tools and channels. Whereas the use of digital technology was enhanced, database management did not receive sufficient attention. Message clarity represented the greatest challenge, while consumer-centric communication was the most neglected principle. Relationship building was pursued mainly through B2B rather than B2C communication, whereas brand equity development pursued through communication mix mostly focused on increases in awareness, perceived quality and attitudinal loyalty. Research limitations/implications: This research is qualitative in nature and provides opinions on IMC adoption from the managerial perspective only. Practical implications: This paper provides guidelines for the successful integration of marketing communications (marcom) in an extremely ambiguous and uncertain environment. This article compares the quality and complexity of LPC, CELP, and MELP standard audio encoders. These standards are based on linear predictive and are used in sound (speech) processing. These standards are powerful high-quality speech coding methods that provide highly accurate estimates of audio parameters and are widely used in the commercial (mobile) and military (NATO) communications industries. To compare LPC, CELP, and MELP audio encoders in two male and female voice modes and four voice models: quiet, Audio recorded without sound by the microphone, MCE, office, and two noise models 1% and 05% were used. The simulation results show the complexity of MELP is higher than LPC and CELP in terms of both processor and memory requirements. The MELP analyzer requires 72% of its total processing time. This additional memory is, due to the vector quantization tables MELP uses for the linear spectral frequencies (LSFs) and the Fourier magnitude. Purpose: Corporate social responsibility (CSR) communication covered by the news media is considered as more credible and effective in shaping public perceptions toward corporations than CSR shared by corporations themselves. This is particularly true when CSR is about corporations with social stigma inherent in business practices. This study examines the CSR publicity of stigmatized industries from the journalism lens. Design/methodology/approach: A content analysis was conducted with CSR stories from 2019 to 2020 by USA newspapers (n = 348). Findings: Results of this study showed that the overall volume of CSR from stigmatized industries has decreased, with fewer responses to the recent pandemic. Further, the media brought promotional CSR activities and the business motives behind the activities into focus. Opposing patterns were found for CSR of non-stigmatized industries presented with philanthropic activities based on corporations' social motives to help communities. Similarly, economic and legal responsibilities reflected in the CSR pyramid were more prominently reported for stigmatized industries, and ethical and discretionary responsibilities appeared more frequently for non-stigmatized industries. Practical implications: Integrating business and media literature, this study enriches scholarly discussions on media processes and effects for CSR communication. This study also provides practical implications for stigmatized industries by highlighting more authentic and careful approaches for CSR communication to earn positive publicity. Social implications: This study provides social implications by highlighting the importance of CSR communications through the lens of news media when corporations are socially stigmatized. Originality/value: Stigmatized industries are known to be active in CSR communication to nullify social stigma surrounding themselves. This study investigates how COVID-19 in the United States affects the stock prices of the Taiwanese printed circuit board (PCB) and network communication industries. We utilize the event study method to evaluate the market response to the announcements of the United States COVID-19 and the sample period is from February 2020 to April 2020. This study examines whether the COVID-19 caused stock price variations and generated abnormal returns for Taiwanese companies. Finally, this study also evaluates whether there is a significant difference in abnormal returns among companies who have reported corporate social responsibility (CSR) and companies who have not. This study finds that the United States prevention policies have caused a significant influence on abnormal returns in Taiwan's PCB and network communication industries. Because Taiwan exports PCB to the United States, the stocks price decrease to the United States COVID-19 due to the investors' expectation of the substantial order decline from the United States in in Taiwan's PCB and network communication industries. We use ANOVA to prove the difference among the abnormal returns generated by the first, second and third U.S. COVID-19 announcements. The empirical results show that the first announcement caused the largest reactions, and the third announcement caused the least. Furthermore, the United States government's social distancing policy has caused positive abnormal returns for Taiwan's PCB and network communication industries due to the great demand for online meeting. Furthermore, we find the significant difference between the implementation and loosening of the social distancing polices. This suggests that investors regard the loosening of the United States social distancing policy signal that the order decline in Taiwan's PCB and network communication industries. Future Industry 4.0 scenarios are characterized by seamless integration between computational and physical processes. To achieve this objective, dense platforms made of small sensing nodes and other resource constraint devices are ubiquitously deployed. All these devices have a limited number of computational resources, just enough to perform the simple operation they are in charge of. The remaining operations are delegated to powerful gateways that manage sensing nodes, but resources are never unlimited, and as more and more devices are deployed on Industry 4.0 platforms, gateways present more problems to handle massive machine-type communications. Although the problems are diverse, those related to security are especially critical. To enable sensing nodes to establish secure communications, several semiconductor companies are currently promoting a new generation of devices based on Physical Unclonable Functions, whose usage grows every year in many real industrial scenarios. Those hardware devices do not consume any computational resource but force the gateway to keep large key-value catalogues for each individual node. In this context, memory usage is not scalable and processing delays increase exponentially with each new node on the platform. In this paper, we address this challenge through predictor-corrector models, representing the key-value catalogues. Models are mathematically complex, but we argue that they consume less computational resources than current approaches. The lightweight models are based on complex functions managed as Laurent series, cubic spline interpolations, and Boolean functions also developed as series. Unknown parameters in these models are predicted, and eventually corrected to calculate the output value for each given key. The initial parameters are based on the Kane Yee formula. An experimental analysis and a performance evaluation are provided in the experimental section, showing that the proposed approach causes a significant reduction in the resource consumption. The aim of the study is to analyze the communication management strategies of the top 40 hotel companies, in terms of turnover, using their corporate accounts on social networks during the Easter holiday campaign in 2021 and 2022. By using apps such as "Data Analytics" and "Content Analytics" from Welovroi, a comparative, quantitative and qualitative study, using content and discourse analysis, was designed. The comparative study seeks to identify possible changes and offers data on activity, impact and the published content. The results reveal a considerable difference—both quantitative and qualitative—from one period to the other in terms of behavior and networking on social media of the brands studied. Despite the increase in publications from 2021 to 2022, the level of engagement falls, the frequency of publications and content varies and, in addition, the importance of Instagram and Facebook, as networks which generate more interaction with the public, can be noted. Goal: communications are related to Productivity in times of pandemic in the manufacturing industry on the Tamaulipas and Texas border. Design / Methodology / Approach: An own instrument was designed for this study; it was applied to 104 informants with responsibility in productive areas in the manufacturing industry; the analysis was performed with SmartPLS. Results: a positive relationship was identified between independent variables of Digital Productivity and they explain 69.8% (R2); workers gave more weight to the relationship between Occupational Health conditions with Productivity (51.5%), than to the relationship between Digital Communications and Productivity (39.2%). Limitations of the investigation: the study was analyzed from the perspective of the worker; participation was limited due to access issues due to the pandemic. Tourism and the spa industry have been heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The social media strategies of top spa destinations were studied during the period from March 1, 2020, through February 28, 2022. Together There are 2,539 posts of selected spas (from Iceland, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary). Based on former research, four major themes emerged: (i) Facebook versus Instagram communication during the two years of the pandemic; (ii) Live Vividness of the social media communication; (iii) Activity of the followers; (iv) Use of hashtags. Findings show that social media plays a significant role in fighting against the negative impacts of a crisis. Communication on social media is especially effective when emotional, affective images and positive emotions are presented to the target customers. Our findings extend not only crisis management theory, but also provide valuable insights into tourists' psychometrics, which is essential for tourism destinations in developing their communication strategies. The object of research is computerized polygraphic systems, their technologies, current development trends and prospects for application in modern polygraphic production. The study solves the problem of determining current trends in the field of computerized printing systems, as well as developing forecasts for their future, taking into account modern technological innovations and the possibility of their application in printing. It was determined that the modern world is experiencing rapid technological changes. The integration of computer technologies in various branches of production not only optimizes processes, but also opens up new opportunities for development and innovation. The results were obtained: it was found that computerized polygraphic systems are becoming more and more widespread, providing the opportunity to improve product quality, reduce production costs and increase productivity. It has been proven that modern printing technologies demonstrate an impressive dynamic of progress, taking place in the context of intensive development of information and communication industries. The printing industry adapts quickly, assimilating modern technological advances and immediately implementing them into the production process. It has been confirmed that computer printing systems are actively developing, responding to the increase in market requirements and contributing to the improvement of print quality. Today’s technologies, including 3D and 4D printing, digital stencil technology, laser engraving and central print management system (CPMS), are already integrated into the printing industry, providing automation, precision and efficiency. The obtained research results make it possible to ensure the industrial production of more individual, multifunctional and flexible products, expanding the horizons for printing companies. Forecasting the development of technologies and their application in printing production allows companies to always be one step ahead of competitors, rationally invest in innovation and effectively respond to changing market conditions. Objective: This technological article proposed to unite the literature on crisis management and crisis communication for elaborating sociotechnical solutions in implementing a Crisis Response Plan for the Nuclear Industries of Brazil (INB). Method: The case study is appropriate for one of the few national companies associated with the nuclear sector. Conclusion: Crisis communication is fundamental for good practices that strengthen intangible assets such as identity, image, and reputation. Originality: As referrals, the solutions were articulated in two flowcharts, the first for the construction of policies and the second for the activation model of the crisis response plan. The theoretical and methodological research presented in the scientific paper aims to identify the potential growth of the revenue level of participants in the telecommunications market, and the identification of potential opportunities and threats to ensure their economic security in order to define effective directions for the communications industry development in the long run. As a result of the research, based on the identification of potential business opportunities, given the availability of potential and competence resources, it has been established that small participants in the communication market (operators) are not able to provide the appropriate level and continuity of service, therefore a significant part of customers switches to using the services of large market participants (providers), where the largest percentage of service provision is for wired Internet services. The research was conducted on the materials of national telecommunications enterprises’ activities results. The methodical basis of the research was general and special methods, namely: system analysis - for comprehensive consideration of strategic landmarks of telecommunications enterprises’ activity; generalization and scientific abstraction - to study the level of readiness of enterprises for changes in management in the direction of innovative development; statistical analysis (method of standard deviation), synthesis and comparison - for the study of the domestic telecommunications market, in diagnosing the current state and trends of innovative development of domestic telecommunications enterprises, identifying priority development directions of innovative decisions in the direction of a revenue level formation of participants in the telecommunications market. The main aspect of the results approved that an important and global task today for the telecommunication market development remains the implementation of start-ups for the reorganization, reconstruction, optimization and improvement of telecommunication networks, as a result of which there should be an innovative transition to the use of modern switching equipment in the direction of ensuring the high level of service for several numbering zones at once and maintaining accessibility to a wide range of services, which will make it possible to achieve a high level of profitability in the near future. This scientific article explores the cognitive aspects of English fishery terminology, aiming to uncover the intricate relationship between language and cognition. Fishery, as a specialized domain, exhibits a rich set of terms that enable effective communication and knowledge transfer among professionals in the field. While linguocognitive research has been carried out in various fields, the fishery terminological system has received limited attention. The cognitive approach emerged within the framework of cognitive linguistics considers terms as lexemes that model the world and reflect special knowledge. By analyzing the cognitive processes underlying the formation and comprehension of fishery terms, the study uncovers the cognitive mechanisms shaping language use in this sector. The article presents an analysis of the fishery concept's structure, hierarchy, and organization using methods from cognitive linguistics, focusing on its core, nuclear zone, and periphery. The study of the terms used to denote fishery in the cognitive aspect involves the selection and description of its key concepts, the identification of their main categorical features, the unification of identical concepts into categories of this field of knowledge. The results emphasize the importance of understanding how cognitive mechanisms influence the development and use of fishery terminology.
