Objective: This study aims to study the effect of weight resistance training (weight resistance vibration training) on the explosive power of lower limbs in volleyball for students in College of General Studies of Chongqing City Vocational College, so as to explore the advantages of weight resistance training and promote the development of weight resistance training. Methods: Literature method and mathematical statistics method were used in this study. Firstly, relevant knowledge of weight-bearing resistance training was sorted out through relevant academic websites to lay a theoretical foundation for the selection of later research indicators. Then, taking students of College of General Studies of Chongqing City Vocational College as the research objects, SPSS24.0 software was used to conduct statistical experiments, and the difference between the effects of single-leg weight-bearing anti-resistance vibration training, two-leg weight-bearing anti-resistance vibration training and traditional weight-bearing anti-resistance vibration training (non-vibration two-leg weightbearing anti-resistance vibration training) was compared and analyzed. Results: The experimental results show that the effect of single leg weight resistance vibration training and double leg weight resistance vibration training is better than the traditional weight training group, which can greatly improve the level of explosive power of lower limbs in volleyball. Conclusion: It shows the importance of single leg weight anti-resistance vibration training and double leg weight anti-vibration training in volleyball, and should be promoted vigorously. "MOOC+Flipped Classroom" (MFC) is a new model that make the online learning and offline learning integrated. And it also shows a new way in developing the teaching reform. Based on MFC, a mixed teaching mode suitable for college volleyball was studied and established. And a reasonable evaluation index system was developed. It fosters educational fairness and improvements in volleyball learning performance. To be applicable to many kinds of problems, the support vector machine (SVM) is improved to obtain the DBT-SVM based quality evaluation model of college volleyball mixed teaching. The average score of students in the mixed teaching mode was higher than that in the traditional teaching mode. The comprehensive performance scores of the former and the latter after the experiment are 9.12 ± 0.75 and 7.63 ± 0.56 respectively. The mixed teaching mode results in higher student attendance. Among the prediction results of DBT-SVM, BT-SVM and SVM, DBT-SVM has higher accuracy, less training and testing time, and smaller error. Teaching quality is the foundation and lifeline of colleges and universities. To establish a distinctive university, we must adhere to the scientific concept of development, deepen teaching reform and improve teaching quality. The classroom teaching quality (CTQ) evaluation of college physical education (PE) is an essential part of the teaching process. Building a scientific, comprehensive, reasonable and effective evaluation system is crucial to improve the quality of college PE classroom teaching. This process is not easy and needs long-term efforts and persistence. The CTQ evaluation of college volleyball training is viewed as the multi-attribute decision-making (MADM). In this paper, we connect the geometric Heronian mean (GHM) operator and power geometric (PG) operator with 2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic sets (2TLNSs) to build the generalized 2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic numbers weighted power GHM (G2TLNWPGHM) operator. Then, the G2TLNWPGHM operator is used to tackle MADM with 2TLNSs. Finally, an example for CTQ evaluation of college volleyball training is used to show the proposed methods. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The physical education teaching quality evaluation is a very important part of the current physical education teaching reform in colleges and universities, and many experts and scholars have achieved fruitful results in this area, which has played a role in promoting the development of physical education teaching evaluation theory and practice. But at the same time, it should be soberly recognized that, with the deepening reform of physical education teaching in colleges and universities, the current teaching quality evaluation system can no longer meet the needs of the current education situation, and there are still many problems that need to be further studied and improved. The teaching quality decision evaluation of college volleyball training is looked as the MAGDM. Thus, a useful MAGDM process is needed to cope with it. The information entropy is used for determination of target weight. Based on the grey relational analysis (GRA) and probabilistic double hierarchy linguistic term sets (PDHLTSs), this paper constructs the PDHLTS-GRA for MAGDM issues. Athletic mental energy is a newly emerging research topic in sport science. However, whether it can predict objective performance in competition remains unexplored. Thus, the purpose of this study was to examine the predictability of mental energy on volleyball competition performance. We recruited 81 male volleyball players (Mage = 21.11 years ± SD = 1.81) who participated in the last 16 remaining teams in a college volleyball tournament. We assessed participants’ mental energy the night before the competition and collected their competition performance over the next 3 days. We used six indices of the Volleyball Information System (VIS) developed by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) to examine its associations with mental energy. All six factors of mental energy –motivation, tirelessness, calm, vigor, confidence, and concentration correlated with volleyball competition performance. Further, a hierarchical regression found mental energy predicted volleyball receivers’ performance (R2 = .23). The findings advance our knowledge of mental energy and objective performance in competition. To obtain a competitive advantage, there must be an increase in technology as well as public awareness of the brand. It is impossible to accomplish without a well-thought-out marketing plan, as well as awareness, execution, and organized advertising approaches. As a result, advertising is an important strategy for marketing items to customers. This study paper claims that it is important to look at the psychological appeal of food brands in relation to volleyball players, as well as customer behavior while making product purchases. If a well-known celebrity appears in a commercial, people will be strongly affected by the brand or product. Psychological Attraction (PA) and Food Brand Advertisement (FBA) were independent variables in the research paradigm. Customer Behavior (CB) was employed as a Dependent Variable in this study. The information was gathered from 100 clients, though. SEM PLS 3 was used to analyze the obtained data. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of repeated-sprint training (RST) on vertical jump ability and aerobic power in college volleyball players. Nineteen male volleyball players, aged between 18-24 years, were randomized into the RST group (RST; n = 10) and control group (CG; n = 9). The RST included 2-3 sets of 6x30m all-out sprints, twice per week, in addition to the regular training routine. The control group performed only the regular volleyball training sessions (i.e. mainly of technical-tactical drills). All players performed a maximal graded treadmill test, vertical countermovement jump (CMJ), and repeated-vertical jump ability (RVJA) test before and after 6-weeks of the training program. The following variables were determined from the RVJA: peak (RVJApeak), average (RVJAmean), and rate of decrement (RVJADec). A two-way ANOVA with repeated measures showed an interaction effect on CMJ (F(1,17) = 6.92; p = 0.018; η2 = 0.289), RVJApeak (F(1,17) = 4.92; p = 0.040; η2 = 0.225), maximal oxygen uptake (F(1,17) = 9.29; p = 0.007; η2 = 0.353) and maximal speed attained in the treadmill test (F(1,17) = 8.66; p = 0.009; η2 = 0.337), with significant improvements only on the RST group. Physical education is an important part of school's physical education and practical teaching activity. There are many restricting factors in physical education, such as the type of equipment and environmental conditions. The standardization of volleyball teaching technology has become the primary factor affecting teaching efficiency. Teachers demonstrate that the action is not standard and will lead students to learn that the technical action is not in place, and teachers can show students standardized technical action through multimedia technology, for example, through the video of athletes. The spatiotemporal nature presented in volleyball technology teaching affects students' understanding and mastering of technology, using network multimedia system-assisted volleyball training teaching, using the advantages of network multimedia, volleyball teaching students difficult to understand the technical action of the intuitive display, improve students' independent learning ability. This thesis studies the application of multimedia technology in the training and teaching of physical volleyball in colleges and universities. This paper constructs a random matrix-based teaching evaluation model for college volleyball clubs and deeply investigates the impact of a random matrix-based teaching evaluation model for college volleyball clubs on the effectiveness of college volleyball teaching. Based on random matrix theory (RMT), we analyze the data characteristics according to the single ring law. By introducing matrix Stein pairs, combined with the Laplace transform method, some concentration inequalities of random matrices are proved, and these inequalities play a very important role in the study of eigenvalues of random matrices. The random matrix model was used to analyze the changes brought by the club-based curriculum teaching to students' physical quality, and a random matrix-based assessment model of college volleyball club teaching was proposed. The model fit test and independence test were conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics 20 software, and an online survey in the form of Questionnaire Star platform was used to map the correlation between college volleyball education and club-based teaching reform with X college physical education students as the research subjects, to provide more scientific theoretical guidance for the influence of club-based teaching mode of physical education courses on the physical quality of college students. Background: It has been well established that proprioception plays a decisive role in shoulder stability and sport performance. Notwithstanding, there is a lack of clear association between active joint position sense (AJPS) and the performance of upper-extremity functional performance tests. The aim of this study was to determine whether the AJPS of the shoulder complex is associated with the performance of college volleyball players with the following functional tests: Y-Balance Test-Upper Quarter (YBT-UQ), Closed Kinetic Chain Upper-Extremity Stability Test (CKCUEST), and Seated Medicine Ball Throw (SMBT). The secondary aim was to investigate whether the magnitude of the proprioception error through the AJPS had the ability to act as a predictor for functional test scores. Methods: Cross-sectional study with a convenience sampling. Healthy college volleyball players (≥12 h of training/week), 30 males and 22 females, between 18 and 26 years of age were included. AJPS of the shoulder (90° of flexion (90°Flex), 90° of internal rotation at 90° of abduction (90°IR/ABD), 90° of external rotation at 90° of abduction (90°ER/ABD)) and three upper-extremity functional performance tests (YBT-UQ, CKCUEST and SMBT) were assessed. A Pearson's test and a stepwise multiple linear regression analysis were used to determine possible associations and relationships between outcome measures, respectively. Results: The analysis revealed that AJPS at 90°IR/ABD and 90°ER/ABD were the only proprioceptive variables with an association to the YBT-UQ and SMBT. Despite these relationships, only the AJPS at 90°IR/ABD was associated with the performance of the YBT-UQ in; superolateral direction (β = -0.7; 95% CI [-1.3 to 0.1]; p = 0.025); inferolateral direction (β = -1.5; 95% CI [-2.1 to -0.8]; p = 0.001); and composite score (β = -0.8; 95% CI [-1.3 to -0.3]; p = 0.002). From these, AJPS at 90°IR/ABD mainly explained the variability of YBT-UQ (inferolateral direction) performance (R² = 0.32; % R² = 0.32). Our findings allow for a possible expanded role for proprioception as a contributing factor in upper limb motor control during functional movements. Computer-aided network (CAI) teaching method is to establish a volleyball teaching forum on campus network, upload graphic materials related to volleyball teaching, combine inside and outside classes, and combine teaching with self-study. This article studies the volleyball teaching of physical education in colleges and universities by comprehensively using the computer-aided teaching method, and discusses its role in improving the teaching quality, interest, and self-study ability, to improve the teaching effect. The results show that the computer network teaching method is an effective supplement to the teaching mode of students' autonomous learning and cooperative learning. It is an effective way to fully mobilize students' subjective initiative and improve the effect of volleyball teaching. The study goal is to solve the problem of the diagnosis of triceps crus injury of volleyball players, meet the needs of volleyball players and team doctors for the correct diagnosis of triceps crus injury scanning, make up for the deficiency that triceps crus injury scanning diagnosis is easy to make mistakes, and improve the efficiency and ability of triceps crus injury diagnosis scanning. Because the experiment involves the technical action of volleyball jump serve, DELSYSR Trignomobile wireless portable surface electromyography tester (16 leads) made in the United States is selected to test the surface electromyography of the main muscle groups of college male volleyball players in the process of jump serve. The German made simi-3D motion image system is used to conduct three-dimensional synchronous test of athletes' jump serve action. The data analysis software adopts EMG work analysis, EMG analysis software, and simi-3D motion image analysis system for postprocessing data. The original signal is filtered (400 Hz for low pass and 20 Hz for high pass) and rectified. Finally, IEMG, EMG contribution rate, and RMS were calculated. Introduction: Reaction Time (RT) is the time taken by an individual to respond to external stimuli. It is one of the most important determinant ability in sports like Volleyball. Shorter RT leads to higher performance and success in Volleyball. Two types of training methods, Massed and distributed practice have been used in researches to improve RT and other sports related skills in sports. In massed practice, there is persistent workout with hardly any rest periods even of minimal time period relative to the work interval while in Distributed practice; it is interspersed with rest or other skill learning. There are mixed evidences on effectiveness of these practice methods which has led to the present study. Aim: To find the effect of distributed practice and massed practice in terms of RT among collegiate volleyball players. Materials and Methods: The study design was quasiexperimental. A total of 30 players, aged 18-22 years, from college volleyball team were invited to participate in the study. Subjects were randomly divided into two groups. Group A received Massed practice (n=15), and group B received Distributed practice (n=15) for 40 minutes, four days a week for four weeks. Players who were practicing daily for one hour were included in this study and they were excluded if they had any condition that limited their participation in the study or if they are suffering from any type of orthopaedic or neurological illness. RT was measured using Ruler Drop Test (RDT) and Red Light Green Light Test (RLGL). Data was analysed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20.0 for statistical analysis. Results: The mean pre and post data of Group A, for RDT was 0.16 and 0.12 seconds, respectively; of Group B, it was 0.16 and 0.13. The mean pre and post data of Group A for RLGL was 0.42 and 0.38 seconds, respectively; Group B data for RLGL pre and post was 0.39 and 0.37 seconds, respectively. Both the groups showed significant improvement in scores of RDT (p-value for Group A=0.01, Group B=0.05) and RLGL (p-value for Group A=0.01, Group B=0.01) measured by the paired sample t-test (p<0.05). But there was no significant difference in between group analysis measured by independent sample t-test (p>0.05). Conclusion: This study showed that both massed and distributed practice was helpful in improving RT of collegiate volleyball players. As there was no significant difference between the two groups, consequently which practice method is superior in improving RT in collegiate volleyball players could not be stated. We applied the generalized matching equation to examine the relation between attacks attempted and points scored by the top five attackers on 36 Division 1 National Collegiate Athletic Association women's volleyball teams during the 2017–2018 season. Twelve of the teams were highest-ranked at season's end, 12 were mid-ranked, and 12 were lowest-ranked. The equation accounted for at least 70% of the variance in responding for 31 teams. Of them, 16 teams demonstrated undermatching, 4 demonstrated overmatching, and 11 approached strict matching. Eight of these teams were biased towards attempts by a single player and four towards attempts by the other four players combined. Team ranking did not consistently affect performance. These findings are significant in extending the provenance of matching to another sport and to a naturalistic setting involving three or more response options. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

At present, the industry research of volleyball technology is relatively in-depth, and the analysis of the muscle strength characteristics and coordination of the jumping ball is less, which is not conducive to the control of technical movements. This study used a wireless portable surface EMG tester (16 lines) to analyze the EMG of the main muscle groups in athletes' volleyball and conducted a video synchronization test method to find the position of the human body. Therefore, a background-based frame difference method is proposed to detect the position and obtain the precise position of the human body. Experiments show that the background-based three-frame difference method effectively eliminates the "hole" effect of the original three-frame difference method and provides an accurate and complete framework for identifying the human body. Adjust the recognition frame according to the proportion of the human body in the image, and use the predefined parameters of the severe frame to perform forward/volleyball background segmentation. The novelty of this document lies in the completion of the complete human body placement of the above three tasks, precapture/background segmentation, and an improved human body position estimation algorithm to extract the human body pose from the video. First, locate the human body in each frame of the video, and then, perform the process of estimating the position of the graphic model based on the color and texture of the unit. After recognizing the gesture of each image in the video, the recognition result will be displayed. Experiments show that after detecting the position of the human body, the predefined frame setting process of the tomb is carried out in two steps, which improves the automation of the human body image detection algorithm, effectively extracts the human motion video, and increases the motion capture rate by more than 30%, to provide a useful reference for the improvement of college volleyball players' movement skills and training competitions. The present study was an initial attempt to capture and describe instances of shared mental models within a team from the point of view of the team captain. Specifically, the purpose of this study was to describe a range of perceived and shared behaviors aimed at facilitating the overall performance of a college volleyball team from the perspective of the team captain. This behavioral focus is congruent with the need for documenting observable task and team-related coordination mechanisms. Symbolic interactionism, via the use of systematic observations, documental analysis, and semistructured open-ended interviews, was used to gather data from the participant in the form of a case study. Data were analyzed using Braun and Clarke's (2006) theoretical thematic analysis based on categories derived from Eccles and Tenenbaum's (2004) Conceptual Framework of Coordination in Sport Teams. Results indicated that the player's actions were perceived as enhancing proactive information sharing within her team. Therefore, it is suggested that team leaders possess important objective and symbolic roles in the promotion of shared mental models. The approach running spike-jump (RSJ) is a crucial technique in the sport of volleyball. Two types of RSJs are commonly used for the volleyball spike attack: (1) RSJ with one leg (RSJ-1L) and (2) RSJ with two legs (RSJ-2L). The purposes of the current study were to compare the kinematic and kinetic differences between the RSJ-1L and RSJ-2L. Ten male college volleyball players performed spike jumps by striking a stationary ball at maximal jump height. Data were collected by six infrared Qualisys motion-capture cameras (180 Hz), two AMTI force platforms (1800 Hz), and recorded by Qualisys Track Manager software. The RSJ-1L demonstrated the faster three-step approach running velocity, greater vertical GRF, and ankle, knee, and hip joint moment, but less jump height, shorter last step length and push-off time, smaller knee and hip joint flexion angles at the initial foot-contact, and knee range of motion compared to the RSJ-2L. The current study contributed to the understanding of biomechanical differences of the volleyball spike jumps and can be used to adapt to the volleyball training. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In volleyball matches, there are three minute intervals between sets. Therefore, the improvement of the muscle output ratio is one of the most import foundational physical elements for the players. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of plyometric training on the changes in electrical signals in the lower limb muscles of male college volleyball players during continuous blocking and to examine the benefits of plyometric training on blocking agility and maximum vertical jump height. In this study, twenty elite male college volleyball players were recruited and divided into a plyometric training group (PTG) and a control group (CG). The wireless electromyography was used for data acquisition, and the electrodes were applied to the left and right rectus femoris, biceps femoris, tibialis anterior, and gastrocnemius. The median frequency was used as the measurement of the electromyographic signals during the jumping blocks. This study used covariate analysis methods, with previously measured results used as covariates to perform a two-way analysis of covariance for the independent samples. Based on the results of this study, after 6 weeks of training, the median frequency of the rectus femoris (2.13% to 4.75% improved) and that of the tibialis anterior muscles (4.14% to 7.71% improved) were significantly lower in the PTG than in the CG. Additionally, the blocking agility increased by 6.26% and the maximum vertical jump height increased by 3.33% in the PTG compared to the CG. The findings provide important insights on the neuromuscular status for volleyball players during continuous blocking jumps. The purpose of this study was to analyze the acute effects of stretching and warm-up (isolated or combined) on electromyographic response and functional performance of college volleyball athletes. This is a randomized cross-over clinical trial composed of 11 male athletes (21.54 ± 2.42 years; 1.79 ± 0.09 m; 21.80 ± 1.50 kg/m2), members of the indoor volleyball team of the institution. All individuals underwent five randomly selected interventions, with a 7-day washout period: control, active warm-up, static stretching, warm-up followed by stretching, and stretching followed by warm-up. The athletes were assessed before and after interventions for the following variables: root mean square (RMS) signal during vertical jump through electromyographic activity of the rectus femoris and biceps femoris muscles and the vertical jump height; lower limb relative power; agility and velocity through functional tests. There were no significant changes on RMS values during vertical jump between the different interventions for the rectus femoris (P = 0.659) and the biceps femoris (P = 0.530) muscles, and functional tests (P ≥ 0.05). In conclusion, the effect of a single session of self-stretching and active warm-up (isolated or combined) does not interfere in the performance of volleyball college athletes. This study investigated university students' levels of engagement and accuracy of officiating volleyball during their first Sport Education season. The participants in this study included 20 students (12 male, 8 female) enrolled in a beginner volleyball activity course. The volleyball Sport Education season included 21 lessons that lasted 75 min each. All season gameplay was video recorded and data were collected so that we could determine student engagement and officiating accuracy for every referee throughout the season. A series of paired-samples t tests examined changes over time, and bivariate correlations examined the relationships among engagement and officiating decision variables at preseason and during the formal competition. The results of this study indicated a significant increase in active engagement of officials from preseason to the formal competition phase with the corresponding decrease in passive engagement. Furthermore, while there were no significant differences in the accuracy of some officiating decisions over time, the overall officiating accuracy significantly increased from preseason to formal competition. The levels of engagement were related to the complexity of officiating calls and to an overall accuracy. Officiating competency needs to be intentionally developed during Sport Education, and teachers should allocate ample time for students to practice and improve their officiating abilities, because officiating serves as an important integral part of this pedagogical model.
