Art has been successfully positioned as a promotional tool inside marketing settings. This research examines various relationships between vintage products and art. Three studies investigated whether (a) consumers perceived vintage products as more art‐like than modern versions of the same products; (b) vintage products positively affected consumers' evaluations of nearby products by inducing art‐infusion‐like spillover effects; and (c) the observed effects emerged from the ability of vintage products to engage consumers' social‐self perceptions. This research extended the theoretical and practical utility of art‐infusion effects to a new product type (vintage) and marketing function (promotions). Consumers were more likely to view vintage products, as opposed to contemporary goods, as works of art. This research was the first to position vintage products as art, to elicit art‐like infusion effects from vintage products, and to reveal positional consequences ensuing from art‐infusion effects without utilizing art as a promotional tool. Identifying anomalies, or empirical facts that contradict theoretical predictions, is a common form of proof by contradiction in economics and finance. We identify an apparent pricing anomaly in the market for trading cards: large and persistent death effects of about 20% are observed following the death of legendary baseball players. Rational investors should anticipate each player's eventual death, so these results suggest that profit opportunities are being left on the table. The arguably causal estimates come from interrupted time series models that adjust flexibly for time pre- and post-death and the time of sale using high-frequency sales data. The effect is largest in the days immediately following the death, but prices remain elevated for at least 60 days. Generally, our findings reaffirm the presence of a causal "nostalgia effect" of celebrity deaths on consumer demand for collectibles and products associated with the celebrity. Non-fungible tokens are transferable rights to digital assets such as artwork, videos, in-game items, collectibles or music. Non-fungible tokens relate only to a specific unique item and carry information about the owner. The non-fungible token market has received widespread attention and has grown enormously since the beginning of 2021. Despite significant growth in the market, there needs to be more surveys, especially in the context of the Czech Republic. This article, therefore, aims to evaluate the level of awareness of non-fungible tokens in the Czech Republic. The paper presents the basics of the non-fungible token market, its potential and uncertainty, and the interdisciplinary nature of non-fungible token research. First, the characteristics of nonfungible tokens are described based on a literature review. The methodological part outlines an empirical analysis based on a quantitative survey in which 103 respondents in the Czech Republic took part. Based on the research results, it was found out that in the Czech Republic, there is low level of awareness of non-fungible tokens and also low level of trust in digital assets in general. In conclusion, it is possible to say that this article provides an overall understanding of the phenomenon of non-fungible tokens in the Czech Republic. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Digital collections, loved and valued by the public, have become a new trend in cultural tourism consumption. Their ultimate aim is to boost cultural tourism consumption and empower offline tourism. This study constructs a theoretical model of "digital collectibles involvement (DCI)-perceived value (PV)-tourist intention to visit on site (TIVS)" based on the theory of involvement and Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR). It empirically investigates the influence of DCI on TIVS. The study found that digital collection involvement has a significant positive influence on tourists' intentions to visit on-site, and the positive impact of digital collectibles' persistent involvement on TIVS is higher than digital collectibles' contextual involvement. Perceived value plays a fully mediating role in the relationship between DCI and TIVS. Visual perception is a positive moderator in the relationship between DCI and TIVS. The moderating effect of cultural attributes was not significant. The research conclusion provides a theoretical reference for the development of offline tourism by using digital collectibles. Disrupting the concept of ownership in the digital space, non‐fungible tokens (NFTs) have created unprecedented market opportunities and captivated millions of investors. Characterized by artificial scarcity and ensured authenticity, the technical implementation establishes novel parameters for digital ownership and collecting, underscoring a research gap where the determinants of consumer behavior are yet to be studied. This paper presents a research model based on the Stimulus‐Organism‐Response (SOR) model to investigate consumers' purchase intention of NFT‐based collectibles (NFTC) for the first time. To develop our model, we identified distinctive NFTC features (functionality, scarcity, aesthetics, and price value) and blockchain characteristics (security and privacy) affecting the utilitarian and hedonic attitude towards NFTC and finally shape NFTC purchase intention. For empirical validation, we conducted an online survey among an NFT‐interested target group (N = 356) and analyzed the results by structural equation modeling with SPSS Amos. Findings indicate that the utilitarian attitude toward NFTC is affected by perceived functionality and price value from the product side, and perceived blockchain security and privacy from the technology side. The hedonistic attitude toward NFTC is shaped by perceived functionality, scarcity, and aesthetics. Both attitudes, utilitarian and hedonistic, demonstrate a significant impact on purchase intention. A subsequent mediation analysis confirms that NFTC and blockchain characteristics have an indirect effect on purchase intention. In the under‐investigated interface of blockchain technology, digital ownership, and consumer behavior, this work enriches the digital ownership discourse by demonstrating how NFTC create consumer value through product and technology features.
