The scientific paper elucidates the importance of using remedies of natural origin, compared to those of chemical origin, in combating ectoparasites in gallinaceous birds. For the first time, the antiectoparasitic efficacy of the natural extract Ectogalimol, obtained from the plant raw material, dry aerial parts of the Dalmatian chamomile (Pyretrum cinerariifolium Trev.) which in a concentration of 3%, administered by spraying in two rounds at an interval of 14 days, in a dose of 50 ml per bird, possesses a high therapeutic effectiveness against the various species of ectoparasites (bird lice, fleas and gamasid mites). For comparative purposes, the drug Ivermec-OR is used, which also possesses a high antiparasitic efficacy against various species of bird lice, fleas and gamasid mites in gallinaceous birds, compared to the natural extract Ectogalimol, which does not require restrictions on the consumption of products and by-products from treated birds. The study of the composition and process for additional feeding and deworming of hares is an important, fundamental and, especially, applicative issue, because some species serve as definitive hosts in the development cycle and as parasitic vectors, being dangerous for both domestic animals and humans. Parasitosis are the most common diseases in wildlife of the hunting fauna, which results with substantial economic losses. The invention relates to the protection of hunting fauna, namely to a composition and a process for additional feeding and deworming of hares. The composition, according to the invention, comprises, in %: oats 30.0-50.0, wheat 4.0-7.0, barley 2.0-4.0, corn 2.0-4.0, sunflower groats 2.0-4.0, soybean groats 2.0-4.0, bentonite 20.0-30.0, molasses 1.0-2.0, dextrin 2.0-3.0, premix containing vitamins, oligoelements, minerals, coccidiostatic and antioxidant 1.0-2.0, and a preparation containing 20% albendazole 1.0-2.0. The process, according to the invention, provides for the administration to hares of said composition, in a dose of 75 g/hare, in winter, twice with an interval of 14 days, in the form of briquettes, placed at a height of 25-40 cm from the soil. Myodes glareolus is a forest species that can be met in woods, forest glades, in shrubs at the forest edge, in wet biotopes with tree and shrub vegetation. Parasitological investigations of the species revealed a prevalence of Plaghiorchis elegans with 13.8%, of Mesocestoides lineatus larvae - 14.0%, of Paranoplocephala omphaloides - 10.3%, of Rodentolepis straminea - 69.0%, of Hydatigera taeniaformis - 10.3%, of Catenotaenia cricetorum - 10.3%, of Skrjabinotaenia lobata - 10.3%, of Taenia pisiphormis - 13.7%, of Calodium hepaticum - 27.5%, of Syphacia stroma - 17.2%, of Syphacia obvelata - 24.1%, of Heligmosomoides polygirus - 10.0%, of Strongyloides ratti - 6.9%, of Mastophorus muris - 17.2% and of Trichocephalus muris with 17.2%. Taxonomically the parasite fauna is constituted from representatives of 4 classes, 12 families, 14 genera and 15 species. The diversity structure is formed by one parasite species from the class Trematoda (Plaghiorchis elegans), by 7 species from the class Cestoda (Skrjabinotaenia lobata, Catenotaenia cricetorum, Paranoplocephala omphaloides, Rodentolepis straminea, Hydatigera taeniaeformis, Taenia pisiformis, Mesocestoides lineatus), 5 species from the class Secernentea (Syphacia stroma, Syphacia obvelata, Heligmosomoides polygirus, Mastophorus muris, Strongyloides ratti) and 2 species from the class Adenophorea (Trichuris muris, Calodium hepaticum). The level of geoparasites invasion (S. papillosus, N. vitulorum, Eimeria spp.) upon the cattles, decreases with age probably as a cause of immunity. So, adult cattle are still carriers for parasitic forms. The level of infestation with biohelminthes (E. granulosus larvae, F. hepatica, D. lanceolatum) increases with age probably due to long contact with infesting forms on the pasture. The prevalence species is D. lanceolatum which is characteristic for the steppe and forest steppe ecosystems, where the intermediary hosts and complementary hosts shelter. Absence or irregular dehelminthisation, permanent contact of cattle with intermediate and complementary hosts on the pasture, as well as massive pollution of pastures with parasitic elements of different invasive forms, keep a permanently high level of infestation in cattle. In synanthropic canids in the urban ecosystem of Chisinau 14 parasitic species (including 10 species with zoonotic impact) have been detected. They were classified by localization as follows: 6 species are ectoparasites and 8 species are endoparasites with cavitary habitat, 1 species with cavitary/ tissular habitat, 1 species with tissulary habitat and 1 species with intracellular habitat. The dynamic seasonal evaluation of imaginal toxocariasis in Canis familiaris shows approximately the same incidence level: in spring - 34,6%, in summer - 34,3%, in autumn - 35,3%, in winter - 38,5%. The appraisal by age category of imaginal toxocariasis shows a higher incidence in small dogs - 53,9%, compared to adults - 25,7%. The high incidence (35,7%) of toxocariasis in synanthropic canids in the urban ecosystem of Chisinau represents an imminent danger of human pollution infestation and pollution of the environment with the free invasive forms, a phenomenon which is out of control.
