A digital monitoring system for underground drilling in coal mines has been designed to address issues such as difficulty in measuring borehole bottom engineering parameters, insufficient accuracy and completeness of drilling data, and inadequate application of drilling data fusion. The system consists of a data source layer, a virtual model layer, a data processing layer, and a drilling service layer. The data source layer provides data support for the virtual model layer, which generates new data through simulation analysis and feeds it back to the data source layer. After receiving the data provided by the data source layer and the virtual model layer, the data processing layer performs data cleaning, transformation, and merging processes. The drilling service layer provides data display, query, analysis, alarm and other services to users at different levels through permission settings on the backend data management end. Drilling data is divided into pre drilling data (data obtained based on drilling design information and construction plans before drilling construction), real-time data (including parameters monitored by drilling process equipment and drilling site videos), and delayed data (parameters collected by drilling measurement devices at the bottom of the hole) according to temporal features. A data processing flow is designed for these three types of drilling data, and a system communication network architecture consisting of an access layer, a convergence layer, and a core layer is established. The engineering practice results show that the system has achieved the collection, transmission, display, and dynamic management of underground drilling construction data in coal mines. It meets the needs of monitoring and data management during the drilling construction process, and has good real-time and accuracy. This system provides technical support for intelligent construction and refined management of underground drilling in coal mines.

Dust accumulation is severe during coal mine excavation. Currently, research on the dust settlement law and optimization under mixed air flow control in fully mechanized excavation faces is not in-depth enough. Based on a hybrid air flow control system and relying on the fully mechanized excavation face of Shaanxi Coal Group Shenmu Ningtiaota Mining Co., Ltd., the influence of mixed air flow control parameters such as the distance from the pressure air outlet to the working face, the right angle of the pressure air outlet, the pressure air outlet diameter, the distance from the extraction air outlet to the working face, and the pressure extraction ratio on the dust settlement law is analyzed. As the distance between the pressure air outlet and the working face increases, the proportion of large particle dust in the cross-section of the personnel breathing zone on the return air sides and the driver's location first increases, then decreases, and then increases again. The proportion of small particle dust increases. As the right deviation angle of the air inlet increases, the proportion of large particle dust in the personnel breathing zone section on the return air sides and the driver's location changes significantly. As the diameter of the air inlet increases, the proportion of small particle dust in the driver's location section first increases, then decreases, and then increases again. The proportion of large particle dust in the personnel breathing zone section on the return air side first increases and then decreases. As the distance between the extraction air outlet and the working face increases, the proportion of large particle dust at the driver's location section first increases and then decreases. The proportion of small particle dust first increases and then decreases and then increases again. The particle size distribution of dust at the personnel breathing zone section on the return air side does not change much. As the pressure-pumping ratio increases, the proportion of small particle dust in the cross-section of the personnel breathing zone on return air sides and the driver's location decreases. Taking the above air flow control parameters as independent variables, the average concentration of total dust in the personnel breathing zone on the return air side and the average concentration of exhaled dust at the driver's location are the optimization objectives. A dust settlement optimization regression model is established, and the particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to solve the model. The optimal air flow control scheme is obtained. The distance between the pressure air outlet and the working face is 8.9 meters, the right angle of the compressed air outlet is 14.8°, the diameter of the compressed air outlet is 0.9 meters, the distance between the extraction air outlet and the working face is 4.3 meters, and the pressure-pumping ratio is 1.1. The experimental platform for dust settlement under wind flow control is built. The experimental results show that the error between the test values and the simulated values of the dust settlement optimization regression model is within 13%, which verifies the accuracy of the model. The optimized dust with particle sizes of 71-100 μm is significantly affected by the wind flow regulation parameters and settles in front of the roadheader. After optimization, the average dust concentration of total dust in the personnel breathing zone on the return air side and the average dust concentration at the driver's location decrease by 47.4% and 42.4%, respectively, indicating a significant dust reduction effect.

We propose a programmable topological metasurface to integrate intelligent modulations of spatial and surface waves. A general design method is presented to design the programmable metasurface elements with PIN diodes. The surface waves can be controlled to propagate along the topological domain-wall interface by programming the C3-symmetry elements, while the spatial waves are modulated by the patterns of C6-symmetry elements. By independently controlling the bias voltages of meta-elements, the programmable topological metasurface can generate different coding patterns with distinct combinations of C3- and C6-symmetries in real time, respectively achieving the dynamical manipulation of the surface- and spatial-wave by using distinct element states in a time-division manner. To validate the modulation performance, we perform both near- and far-field tests with different coding patterns. Experimental results demonstrate good agreement with numerical simulations, thereby showcasing the flexible manipulations of surface waves and spatial waves by the topological metasurface. The proposed metasurface opens up new possibilities for multifunctional metadevices, which hold great potentials for future wireless communications and smart sensing systems.

IntroductionCaregivers of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in China often experience alienation due to societal stigma. While this alienation detrimentally impacts their mental well-being, family resilience serves as a protective factor. Previous research has predominantly examined the social support derived from social activities but has neglected to delve into the specific patterns of these activities. The primary objective of this study was twofold: firstly, to gain insights into the various social activities engaged in by caregivers of children with autism in China, and secondly, to ascertain the influence of these social activities on alienation and family resilience.MethodsBetween June and August 2023, a cross-sectional survey was carried out across multiple cities in Jilin Province, aiming to gather data from a total of 205 Chinese caregivers of children with autism. Data collection was conducted through the utilization of a structured questionnaire. The assessment of social activity involved the completion of 12 questionnaires, while alienation was evaluated using the Generalized Alienation Scale (GSAS), and family resilience was gauged through the Chinese version of the Family Resilience Scale (FaRE). The classification of social activities was conducted through latent class analysis (LCA), while the impact of these social activities on alienation and family resilience was examined using linear regression analysis.ResultsThe findings revealed that social activities can be categorized into five types (Low, Self-Recreation, Communication, Web Surfing, High). Based on the principle of light scattering, measuring dust concentration can only be done manually at fixed times and locations, with poor real-time performance. It can only detect dust mass concentration and cannot provide a range of particle size distribution. At present, research on dust particle detection based on image analysis mainly focuses on unilateral research on dust mass concentration or particle size distribution. It cannot achieve simultaneous detection of dust mass concentration and particle size distribution range. In order to solve the above problems, a method for detecting dust particles in excavation working face based on image analysis is proposed. It explores the relationship between image features and dust mass concentration and particle size distribution. By using a dust sample collection and image acquisition device, dust particle images are collected and the dust mass concentration at the time of image acquisition is obtained. An image processing algorithm for dust samples, is developed to extract parameters related to grayscale features, texture features, and geometric features of the image. The correlation analysis between the extracted image features and the measured dust mass concentration is performed, and the image features with high correlation is selected as parameters to establish a regression mathematical model. The method extracts the number of pixels in the dust particle object. Combining with the conversion coefficient, the method calculates the size and distribution range of the dust particle based on the geometric equivalent area diameter. The experimental results show that the average relative error between the measured dust mass concentration and the calculated values of the established image feature multiple nonlinear regression model mathematical model is 12.37%. The maximum relative error between the standard measured particle size and the geometric equivalent area size obtained from the particle size distribution is 8.63%, and the average relative error is 6.37%. This verifies the accuracy of the image feature based dust mass concentration regression mathematical model and the geometric equivalent area diameter distribution mathematical model.

Objectives: The impact of N7-methylguanosine (m7G) on tumor progression and the regulatory role of microRNAs (miRNAs) in immune function significantly influence breast cancer (BC) prognosis. Investigating the interplay between m7G modification and miRNAs provides novel insights for assessing prognostics and drug responses in BC. Materials and methods: RNA sequences (miRNA and mRNA profiles) and clinical data for BC were acquired from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. A miRNA signature associated with 15 m7G in this cohort was identified using Cox regression and LASSO. The risk score model was evaluated using Kaplan-Meier and time-dependent ROC analysis, categorizing patients into high-risk and low-risk groups. Functional enrichment analyses were conducted to explore potential pathways. The immune system, including scores, cell infiltration, function, and drug sensitivity, was examined and compared between high-risk and low-risk groups. A nomogram that combines risk scores and clinical factors was developed and validated. Single-sample gene set enrichment analysis (ssGSEA) was employed to explore m7G-related miRNA signatures and immune cell relationships in the tumor microenvironment. Additionally, drug susceptibility was compared between risk groups. Results: Fifteen m7G-related miRNAs were independently correlated with overall survival (OS) in BC patients. Time-dependent ROC analysis yielded area under the curve (AUC) values of 0.742, 0.726, and 0.712 for predicting 3-, 5-, and 10-year survival rates, respectively. The Kaplan-Meier analysis revealed a significant disparity in OS between the high-risk and low-risk groups (p = 1.3e-6). Multiple regression identified the risk score as a significant independent prognostic factor. An excellent calibration nomogram with a C-index of 0.785 (95 % CI: 0.728–0.843) was constructed. In immune analysis, low-risk patients exhibited heightened immune function and increased responsiveness to immunotherapy and chemotherapy compared to high-risk patients. Conclusion: This study systematically analyzed m7G-related miRNAs and revealed their regulatory mechanisms concerning the tumor microenvironment (TME), pathology, and the prognosis of BC patient. Based on these miRNAs, a prognostic model and nomogram were developed for BC patients, facilitating prognostic assessments. These findings can also assist in predicting treatment responses and guiding medication selection.

Circadian rhythms influence various aspects of the biology and physiology of the host, such as food intake and sleep/wake cycles. In recent years, an increasing amount of genetic and epidemiological data has shown that the light/dark cycle is the main cue that regulates circadian rhythms. Other factors, including sleep/wake cycles and food intake, have necessary effects on the composition and rhythms of the gut microbiota. Interestingly, the gut microbiota can affect the circadian rhythm of hosts in turn through contact-dependent and contact-independent mechanisms. Furthermore, the gut microbiota has been shown to regulate the sleep/wake cycles through gut-brain-microbiota interaction. In addition to diabetes, the gut microbiota can also intervene in the progression of neuro- degenerative diseases through the gut-brain-microbiota interaction, and also in other diseases such as hypertension and rheumatoid arthritis, where it is thought to have a spare therapeutic potential. Even though fecal microbiota transplantation has good potential for treating many diseases, the risk of spreading intestinal pathogens should not be ignored.

Previous studies have shown that microRNAs (miRNAs) are involved in the regulation of a variety of metabolic diseases, which related to some important signal pathways. Our aim was to explore the possible mechanism of miRNAs by revealing the differential expression of serum miRNAs in different BMI of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). We found that miR-29 decreased liver aminotransferase gamma-GGT and uric acid levels by inhibiting the expression of JNK-1 in non-obese T2DM patients with NAFLD, and down-regulated the expression of atherosclerosis-related factor lipoprotein phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2). Combined with bioinformatics analysis, we speculate that this may be mediated by the AMPK signaling. These findings suggest that miR-29 may be a potential targeted therapeutic strategy in T2DM patients with NAFLD.

With the aging of the population, the incidence of chronic diseases in the elderly is also increasing, which is closely related to daily diet. Resistant starch (RS) is a new type of dietary fiber, which has become the focus of food science research in recent years because of its unique physical and chemical properties and physiological functions. Resistant starch can reach the colon without being hydrolyzed by digestive enzymes in human digestive tract, which has many benefits. It can be used for the development of functional products, and can also be combined with technologies such as microcapsules to embed nutrients. At the same time, it can play a variety of physiological functions and prevent various diseases. Therefore, this review mainly focuses on the research progress in the application of resistant starch in elderly foods. Firstly, the characteristics of elderly foods are summarized, and then the relationship between RS and human health is further discussed around the characteristics of these elderly foods. Then, based on the advantages and characteristics of RS, it summarizes the application of RS in food for the elderly, such as directly as functional raw materials, making reconstituted rice, flour products, milk drinks, etc., or as main raw materials through different means, including: microcapsule method, Pickering emulsion method and nanoparticle method, are summarized, so as to construct a special nutrient delivery system in the elderly, in order to provide ideas for the design and development of elderly foods and provide some reference for the elderly.

An accurate diagnosis of consciousness disorder after brain injury is the basis for further treatment. The previous evaluation of consciousness disorder after brain injury is mainly based on behavior scales and imaging examination, which is limited to subjective factors and external interference and difficult to detect and evaluate in real time. The development of objective and efficient evaluation methods of consciousness disorder after brain injury is currently a hot spot in clinical research. Neurophysiological monitoring is safe, objective, simple to operate, and can be detected continuously timely. It can be used as an evaluation method for consciousness disorder after brain injury. In this paper, we summarize the application paradigms and analysis methods of evoked potential and EEG in the clinical evaluation of consciousness disorder after brain injury in recent years, in order to provide new technical ideas for improving the clinical diagnosis and treatment of consciousness disorder after brain injury.

Reef islands are composed of unconsolidated carbonate sediment from the reef that has been organized and deposited on an atoll and platform reef by ocean hydrodynamics. They are frequently found in remote mid-ocean locations within tropical and subtropical waters and are the sole source for habitable land of some island nations. It is anticipated that sea level rise and more frequent and intense storms resulting from global climate change will destabilize these low-lying reef islands, thus there is increasing concern about the persistence and habitability of these islands during future extreme wave events. The reef island morphodynamic response to the action of regular waves has not been reported in the literature. Therefore, this study performed laboratory experiments based on a horizontally one-dimensional reef island physical model in a wave flume. The temporal variation of the island profile under regular waves was measured to analyze the effects of island morphological factors (initial island height and width) and initial island location on its topographic evolution. The results showed that the reef island lost crest elevation and migrated and extended toward its lagoon side under the action of regular waves. Accretion also occurred on the lagoon side beach and random ripples appeared. The time required for the island to reach its equilibrium profile decreased with increasing of initial island height, initial island width, and initial island distance from reef edge. The island crest lowering due to scouring increased with increase of initial island height, but it decreased with increasing of initial island width and initial island distance from the reef edge. Among the three factors, initial island height had the greatest impact on the crest lowering. The island lagoonward migration decreased with increasing of both initial island height and initial island distance from reef edge, but it increased with the increase of initial island width. Among the three factors, initial island location was the most influential factor to lagoonward migration, but no island lagoonward migration was detected when the initial island distance D≥2 m. Regression analysis was used to obtain empirical formulae to predict the island crest lowering and island lagoonward migration, respectively. The outcomes of this study provide a habitability assessment for such low-lying island nations in the context of global climate change.

Fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) is prone to invisible damage caused by low-velocity impact (LVI) during service. The structural health monitoring system is of great significance for damage monitoring and maintenance of composite materials. In this study, four fiber Bragg grating sensors were employed to collect the time domain strain signals of composite materials subjected to LVIs. Furthermore, a numerical simulation model was established to rapidly obtain impact signal dataset. The signal arrival time, peak time, and peak amplitude were selected as signal features, and the backpropagation neural network was successfully applied to determine the location and energy of LVIs. To address the issue of peak feature extraction in the strain signal processing, a genetic algorithm-based sliding window peak detection optimization method was proposed, which significantly improved the final prediction accuracy. The experimental results indicated that within a position range of 300 mm × 300 mm, the average positioning error can reach 5.1 mm; and in an energy range of 0.5–1 J, the average energy prediction error can reach 0.030 J. The proposed method achieved accurate identification of the LVI location and energy for FRP.

We evaluated the expression profiles of differentially expressed miRNAs (DEmiRNAs) involved in human fetal skin development via high-throughput sequencing to explore the expression difference and the regulatory role of miRNA in different stages of fetal skin development. Analysis of expression profiles of miRNAs involved collecting embryo samples via high-throughput sequencing, then bioinformatics analyses were performed to validate DEmiRNAs. A total of 363 miRNAs were differentially expressed during the early and mid-pregnancy of development, and upregulated DEmiRNAs were mainly concentrated in the let-7 family. The transfection of let-7b-5p slowed down HaCaT cell proliferation and promoted apoptosis, as evidenced by the cell counting kit-8 assay, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction, and flow cytometry. The double luciferin reporter assay also confirmed let-7b-5p and ΔNp63 downregulation through the combination with the 3ʹ-untranslated region of ΔNp63. Moreover, treatment with a let-7b-5p inhibitor upregulated ΔNp63 and activated the phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K)-protein kinase B (AKT) signaling pathway. The let-7b-5p caused a converse effect on HaCaT cells because of Np63 upregulation. Let-7b-5p regulates skin development by targeting ΔNp63 via PI3K-AKT signaling, contributing to future studies on skin development and clinical scar-free healing.

The corrosion problem of steel-reinforced concrete (SRC) columns in coastal areas is becoming increasingly severe and needs to be solved urgently. This study established a numerical analysis model for SRC middle-length columns considering corrosion effects. The bond–slip constitutive relationship between corroded steel and concrete was established. It was found that when the rust rate is low, the bonding stress of SRC columns is slightly increased compared to those without corrosion. The ultimate and residual bonding stress will decrease significantly when the rust rate exceeds 1.5%. The comparison between the numerical analysis model and the experimental results shows that the establishment of the model is reasonable. Subsequent parameter analysis showed that for corroded SRC mid-length columns, the larger the slenderness ratio of the component, the faster the decrease in axial compression performance. The rust rate increased from 0 to 30%, and the axial compression performance of SRC columns decreased significantly. When the rust rate exceeded 30%, the axial compression performance of concrete columns tended to stabilize. A formula for calculating SRC middle-length columns’ ultimate bearing capacity considering corrosion effects has been proposed.

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is one of the most lethal malignant tumors. It has been shown that the general anesthetic agents, propofol and astragaloside IV (AS-IV) both exert antitumor effects in NSCLC. However, the effects of the combination of propofol with AS-IV in NSCLC remain unclear. Cell counting kit-8, and EdU and Transwell assays were performed to evaluate NSCLC cell viability, proliferation, and migration. Cell apoptosis and autophagy were observed by flow cytometric analysis and TUNEL and LC3 staining, respectively. AS-IV notably enhanced the anti-proliferative, pro-apoptotic, and anti-migratory properties of propofol in NSCLC cells. Moreover, AS-IV remarkably facilitated the anti-autophagy effect of propofol in NSCLC cells by downregulating LC3, Beclin 1, and ATG5. Significantly, the pro-apoptotic ability of the AS-IV/propofol combination in NSCLC cells was further enhanced by the autophagy inhibitor 3-MA, suggesting that autophagy plays a tumor-promoting role in NSCLC cells. Collectively, AS-IV could facilitate the antitumor abilities of propofol in NSCLC cells by inhibiting autophagy. These findings may be beneficial for future studies on the use of AS-IV and propofol for the treatment of NSCLC.

With the development of information technology, artificial intelligence shows great potentials for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Nevertheless, bias in algorithms derived by artificial intelligence can lead to problems such as unequal distribution of healthcare resources, which significantly affect patients' health equity. Algorithmic bias is a technical manifestation of human bias, whose formation strongly correlates with the entire development process of artificial intelligence, starting from data collection, model training and optimization to output application. Healthcare providers, as the key direct participants in ensuring patients' health, should take corresponding measures to prevent algorithmic bias to avoid its related health equity issues. It is important for healthcare providers to ensure the authenticity and unbiasedness of health data, optimize the fairness of artificial intelligence, and enhance the transparency of its output application. In addition, healthcare providers need to consider how to tackle bias-related health inequity, so as to comprehensively ensure patients' health equity. In this study, we reviewed the causes and coping strategies related to algorithmic bias in healthcare, with the aim of improving healthcare providers' awareness and ability to identify and address algorithmic bias, and laying a foundation for ensuring patients' health equity in the information age.

Small molecular sugars are a group of sugars with low molecular weight, mainly including monosaccharides, disaccharides, and other oligosaccharides with low degree of polymerization. Small molecular sugars are commonly used as food additives in the food industy, including providing sweetness, improving food texture and optimizeing food processing adaptability. In addition, some small molecular sugars also have unique physiological functions that can be used to regulate the nutritional quality of food. Starch is the most common staple component in food, and starch and its modified derivatives are also widely used as food ingredients in food categories such as sauces, dairy products, beverages, and meat products. The composite system of small molecular sugar and starch is widely used in food. The addition of small molecular sugar has an important impact on the properties of natural starch, and plays an important role in regulating the quality of starch-based foods. This article mainly introduces the common small molecular sugars in food and their effects on the main physical and chemical properties of starch (gel texture, transparency, coagulation, gelatinization, freeze-thaw stability, aging, digestion, etc.), with emphasis on the impact of different types and amounts of small molecular sugars on the properties of starch from different sources. This paper aimed to provide reference for the application of small molecular sugars in starch based foods.

Abstract Purpose To develop a bidirectional slide guide to assist screw placement in the axial lamina and to preliminarily discuss the accuracy and feasibility of auxiliary screw placement. Methods CT data from 40 randomly selected patients were imported into the software for modelling, and cross-pinning was used to simulate pinning. According to the different crossing methods of the upper and lower laminar screws, they are divided into two groups. In the software, the position of the needlepoint of each screw is accurately measured, and the needle point is kept unchanged to simulate the movable range of the screw tail under the condition that the body does not penetrate the cortical bone. The data were compared by grouping and gender. Finally, the guide was designed by combining the screw exit point and fine adjustment angle data of all patients with the centripetal principle of the slide rail. Results The needle exit data L1/L2/L3/L4 were 6.44 ± 0.52 mm, 7.05 ± 0.48 mm, 3.55 ± 0.75 mm and 5.09 ± 0.74 mm, respectively, and the fine adjustment angle of the slide rail was 10.51° ± 0.87°. There was no significant difference between the two groups or between men and women (p > 0.05). Conclusion In this experiment, using the data obtained from the simulation of screw insertion, a two-way slide guide was designed to assist the insertion of axial laminar screws. The guide locks the screw outlet point to position and guides the screw inlet point, which improves the accuracy and safety of screw placement.

In the operating environment of power system with weak grid characteristics, the traditional current source converter control mode is prone to vibration, which increases the crossing difficulty and off-grid probability of wind turbines. Based on virtual synchronous generator (VSG) technology, a novel control strategy of voltage source converter is designed in this paper, and the voltage source converter control mode and current source converter control mode are studied. Under normal grid-connected operation conditions, voltage source converter control mode is adopted. Active power control increases active power compensation through VSG, and reactive current is injected into the front end of reactive power control. Under start-stop and high & low-voltage ride-through conditions, the current source converter control mode is adopted. The control strategy combines the advantages of voltage source converter control mode and the current source converter control mode. It has not only the frequency support characteristics, but also the fast active and reactive power response capability. The simulation and prototype experiments on the grid-connection process, active and reactive power response and high & low-voltage ride-through process of the full-power wind power converter are carried out. The results show that the proposed control scheme can achieve good control effect under each operating condition of the wind power converter, so that the wind power units have good steady-state and dynamic performance, and can well adapt to the demands of new energy grid-connection.

This paper introduces the research results of the main coal mine roadway excavation technologies in recent years. The technologies include cantilever roadheader comprehensive excavation technology, continuous shearer tunneling technology, and integrated excavation technology. The applicability and promotion value of these three main roadway excavation technologies in China is analyzed. The following points are pointed out. ① The comprehensive excavation technology of the cantilever roadheader can only 'excavate before anchoring'. The excavation and support processes cannot be carried out simultaneously, which limits the excavation efficiency. ② The continuous shearer tunneling technology can only be carried out in near horizontal coal seam conditions. It has certain requirements for the stability of the roof. The applicability is weak. ③ The integrated excavation technology is only suitable for rapid excavation of single roadways with large cross-sections. The integrated excavation and anchoring machine used is large and expensive. The machine has certain requirements for the stability of the bottom plate of the excavated roadways. Compared to the continuous mining machine excavation technology, the integrated excavation technology has a good application prospect in China. Expanding the excavation function of the original roadheader to the function of excavation and support can promote the research and application of integrated excavation and anchoring technology. The study analyzes the research achievements of intelligent cutting, remote intelligent monitoring, and intelligent collaborative control in the robotized intelligent excavation technology of coal mine roadways in recent years. The following points are concluded. ① Intelligent cutting technology mainly focuses on the research of adaptive recognition of coal and rock. ② Remote intelligent monitoring technology has evolved from remote real-time monitoring to remote visual monitoring. The development of virtual simulation technology visualizes the situation of underground excavation roadways on the ground. And it feeds back control signals to the excavation working face to remotely synchronize and control the excavation working face roadheader unit. This becomes an important symbol of the current intelligent remote monitoring of roadway excavation. ③ There is currently limited research on intelligent collaborative control technology. This study explores the development directions of intelligent coal mine roadway excavation. The directions include strengthening the integration and collaboration of excavation equipment, modular combination of equipment, 5G mining wireless network equipment, remote intelligent monitoring system for excavation, and research on difficult and slow excavation roadway excavation engineering.

Objective: This study aimed to develop a green and environment-friendly sodium alginate/starch/tea powder composite membrane. Methods: Tea polysaccharides with different mass fractions were added to the sodium alginate/starch/tea powder composite film to investigate the influence of tea polysaccharides on the properties of sodium alginate/starch/tea powder composite film. Therefore, full infrared barrier, color difference, water solubility, water vapor permeability, tensile strength, elongation at break, thickness, water content, free radical clearance and bacteriostasis were measured. Results: A strong interaction between tea polysaccharides and sodium alginate were found. The composite film with tea polysaccharide content of 5% exhibited the best comprehensive performance. The best bacteriostatic performance was observed when the tensile strength, elongation at break, water vapor permeability were 9.71 MPa, 25.42%, and 2.38×10-9 g·mm/(cm2·d·Pa), respectively. The antioxidant activity of the composite membrane increased with the increase of the amount of tea polysaccharide added, with a maximum of 85.49%. Conclusion: Tea polysaccharides can improve physicochemical properties, antibacterial and antioxidant properties of the composite membrane. When the mass fraction of tea polysaccharides was 5.00%, the composite membrane had the best mechanical, moisture, and antibacterial properties.

BackgroundThe eHealth Literacy Scale (eHEALS) was introduced in China in 2013 as one of the most important electronic health literacy measurement instruments. After a decade of development in China, it has received widespread attention, although its theoretical underpinnings have been challenged, thus demanding more robust research evidence of factorial validity and multigroup measurement properties. ObjectiveThis study aimed to evaluate the Chinese version of the eHEALS in terms of its measurement properties. MethodsA cross-sectional survey was conducted in a university setting in China. Item statistics were checked for response distributions and floor and ceiling effects. Internal consistency reliability was confirmed with Cronbach α, split-half reliability, Cronbach α if an item was deleted, and item-total correlation. A total of 5 representative eHEALS factor structures were examined and contrasted using confirmatory factor analysis. The study used the item-level content validity index (I-CVI) and the average of the I-CVI scores of all items on the scale to assess the content validity of the dominance model. Furthermore, the validated dominance model was subsequently used to evaluate the relevance and representation of elements in the instrument and to assess measurement invariance across genders. ResultsA total of 972 respondents were identified, with a Cronbach α of .92, split-half reliability of 0.88, and item-total score correlation coefficients ranging from 0.715 to 0.781. Cronbach α if an item was deleted showed that all items should be retained. Acceptable content validity was supported by I-CVIs ≥0.80. The confirmatory factor analysis confirmed that the 3-factor model was acceptable. The measurement model met all relevant fit indices: average variance extracted from 0.663 to 0.680, composite reliability from 0.810 to 0.857, chi-square divided by the df of 4.768, root mean square error of approximation of 0.062, standardized root mean squared residual of 0.020, comparative fit index (CFI) of 0.987, and Tucker-Lewis index of 0.979. In addition, the scale demonstrated error variance invariance (Δnormed fit index=−0.016, Δincremental fit index=−0.012, ΔTucker-Lewis index=0.005, Δcomparative fit index=−0.012, Δrelative fit index=0.005, and Δroot mean square error of approximation=0.005). ConclusionsA 3-factor model of the Chinese version of the eHEALS fits best, and our findings provide evidence for the strict measurement invariance of the instrument regarding gender.

Field data from liquefaction case histories are essential for the development, calibration and validation of the liquefaction evaluation methods, and prime standard for the validation of current liquefaction theories. By collecting liquefaction data from Chi-Chi, Bachu and Songyuan earthquakes in China, the volume of data in the Chinese liquefaction database based on the standard penetration test (SPT) is significantly increased from 121 to 465. This database is then used to validate the reliability of four liquefaction evaluation methods based on SPT, i.e. evaluation method suggested in Code for Seismic Design of Buildings (code method for short), two hyperbolic models, and the simplified cyclic stress ratio (CSR) method. The results indicate that the two hyperbolic models can satisfactorily distinguish the liquefaction data from the non-liquefaction data, with success rates higher than 85% for both liquefaction data and non-liquefaction data. The code method and the simplified CSR method exhibit disadvantages for liquefaction evaluation. The predicted results are not satisfactory for all four evaluation methods for seismic intensity of 7, as the liquefaction data are mixed with the non-liquefaction data for this intensity. The overall success rates of the four evaluation methods are high for the data when the seismic intensities are 8 and 9. A new probabilistic liquefaction evaluation equation based on the CSR method is proposed by regression analysis of the new liquefaction data. The predicted liquefaction critical state lines are in reasonable agreement with reported probabilistic equation, even though the number of datasets adopted is different. The Chinese code method has obvious limitation with conservative results for soil layers at the depth greater than 10 m. The analytical results provide reference for improving the liquefaction evaluation method in Chinese code.

In order to improve the experimental research basis under gas coal field coupling condition, we independently developed gas coal field coupling seepage desorption experimental system which mainly composed of constant pressure automatic inflatable adsorption unit, coal gas “surface diffusion” seepage device, gas extraction unit, stress and unloading unit, contactless strain measurement unit, acoustic emission monitoring unit, multi-parameter monitoring unit and experimental system management software. The experiment of coal methane adsorption and the stress-strain-permeability law of gas-bearing coal during loading were studied. The study shows that both the adsorption and desorption of the coal body fit the exponential function; the desorption rate first increases rapidly and slowly increases and finally reaches the equilibrium state; at the same time, with the decrease of the particle size, the shorter the coal adsorption equilibrium time, the greater the desorption rate and the total desorption amount; stress-strain-penetration process of gas-bearing coal shows a stage characteristic, coal body permeability decreases rapidly during the compaction stage, the strain increases rapidly during the elastic deformation stage, the permeability slowly decreases and reaches a minimum; permeability was slowly increased during the yield phase, and the permeability increases rapidly in the post-peak softening stage.

Rockfall in limestone mines is a common geohazard in the Changdu area of eastern Tibet and one of the leading geo-safety issues that mining enterprises and railway projects are faced with. We carried out a detailed geohazard survey using the methods of general geology, structural geology, and geohazard geology. We found the rockfall development pattern, characterized rock mass structural planes, discussed the collapse's mechanism, and established its failure mode. The results show that rockfall sites in the study area show a linear spreading along the fold and thrust zone. Five groups of steep-dip structural planes have developed in the rock body, including the longitudinal joint (S1), the transverse joint (S2), the X-type conjugate shear joints (S3 and S4), and the interlayer shear joint (S5). Paired with regional folds and hedging faults, these structural planes cut the rock mass into broken blocks. The collapses are the product of coupled internal and external dynamic geological processes. The sedimentary foundation of the rockfalls in the Qamdo area is the limestone from the upper Triassic Bolila Formation (T3b) formed in the intracontinental rift basin. The strongly folded orogeny triggered by the Cenozoic (Cz) India-Eurasia collision laid down the tectonic framework in the region, which is the essential condition for rockfall development. The strong Neotectonic movement since the Quaternary (Q), frequent hot and humid climate alternations with abundant rainfall since the Late Pleistocene (Q3), everyday human activities, and other internal and external dynamic coupling effects are the main triggering factors of the rockfall disaster. Three failure modes of rockfall are identified, namely toppling, falling, and sliding. The research results have specific guiding significance for rockfall prevention and control in the karst area and the railway construction in the Sichuan-Tibet area.

4D printing is a new technology to fabricate active smart materials, which can change the configuration according to environmental stimuli. To obtain shape memory graphene oxide/bisphenol A epoxy acrylate (GO/Bis-A EA) composites with outstanding shape memory properties and significant thermal conductivity, GO was introduced into Bis-A EA to prepare shape memory GO/Bis-A EA composites by light curing. Through the shape recovery and heat transfer experiments, the shape recovery rate and heating rate were tested to characterize the shape memory and heat transfer performance. The relationship between various influencing factors and the properties of composites were investigated, and the optimal fitting model was established to optimize the preparation process by setting shape recovery rate and heating rate as response values. The results showed that when the content of diphenyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) phosphine oxide was 4.4%, 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate/Bis-A EA was 0.6, curing power was 40 W, GO content was 0.05%, and curing time was 14 s, the shape recovery rate of the experiments was 87.22% with the heating rate being 0.1532°C/s. The predicted values of shape recovery rate and heating rate inferred by the response surface optimization model were 86.35% and 0.1520°C/s, respectively, which were within 2% error. Through the process optimization research, the 4D-printed shape memory GO/Bis-A EA can achieve excellent shape recovery and heat transfer performance to meet the application of shape memory composites in extreme environments.

The existing hydraulic support modeling method has the problems of single modeling mode and lack expression of internal actions of the model. It is difficult to realize deep knowledge mining of the digital twin model. The modeling of hydraulic support only studies the mechanical or hydraulic parts separately. It is difficult to master its overall dynamic characteristics. In order to solve the above problems, taking the shield hydraulic support ZY6800/08/18D as the research object, a hydraulic support digital twin joint modeling method is proposed. The three-dimensional solid models of the mechanical system and the hydraulic system of the hydraulic support are established by using the SolidWorks software. The three-dimensional solid model is imported into the MapleSim software by .sldasm file format. The kinematic pair is used for connecting the mechanical part, and the hydraulic element is used for connecting the hydraulic part. The twin models of the mechanical system and the hydraulic system of the hydraulic support are established. The twin models are combined to carry out data interaction and model optimization with the physical entity through a database. In order to make the model one to one mapping physical entity, the hydraulic support digital twin is established, including system layer, information layer and physical layer. The consistency experiment of virtual and real is carried out on the digital twin of the hydraulic support. Under the condition of inputting the same signal into the physical entity and the twin, the consistency of the angle change of the connecting rod between the physical entity and the twin is analyzed. The rationality and accuracy of the model are verified. The results show that the fitting degree of the angle of the connecting rod between the physical entity and the twin is 0.986, which is close to 1. The fitting degree is good, which indicates that the position and attitude information of the twin model driven by real data is basically consistent with the running result of the physical entity. The overall angle error of the connecting rod is from −0.198° to +0.185°, which meets the precision requirements within the precision range of the tilt sensor. The motion law of the digital twin model conforms to the actual motion state of the hydraulic support. The mutual mapping and mutual fusion between the physical entity and the digital twin are realized.

At present, the research on unmanned mine trucks mainly focuses on specific control methods such as path tracking and aided decision-making for driving safety. The research is insufficient to support the unmanned operation of the whole mining area transportation system. To solve this problem, an overall design scheme for unmanned transportation system in the mining area is proposed. The system is divided into three layers of cloud control center, edge side and intelligent terminal. The system mainly comprises a mine truck automatic driving system, a mining area unmanned transportation cloud control dispatching platform, an unmanned transportation simulation system, a remote emergency takeover system, a health management system, a collaborative operation management system and a positioning/communication system. The automatic driving system of mine trucks has the function of intelligent management of a single vehicle. It realizes the functions of obstacle perception, intelligent decision-making, path planning, high-precision positioning and precise control. The cloud control dispatching platform is used for unified dispatching management. It realizes collaborative automatic loading and unloading of unmanned mine trucks, electric shovels and bulldozers. It also realizes collaborative mixed operation of unmanned mine trucks and various manned auxiliary operation vehicles. The unmanned transportation simulation system simulates different dispatching operation modes according to the real-time environment of the mine. It forms an optimal schedule scheme to guide actual production. The remote emergency takeover system realizes remote control of the unmanned mine truck in extremely dangerous scenarios. It ensures that the vehicle can be taken over urgently when the automatic driving system of the mine truck encounters a failure. The health management system realizes the functions of equipment self-inspection, fault diagnosis, maintenance result reporting and health state evaluation through the relevant sensors installed at the terminal of the unmanned mine truck. The collaborative operation management system assists the unmanned mine truck to complete the operation together under the condition of ensuring the safety of the driver and the vehicle. It is realized through the software and hardware systems installed on the manned mining equipments, engineering equipments and auxiliary production equipments. The positioning/communication system is the communication channel connecting the cloud control center and the intelligent terminal. It supports multiple communication modes such as 4G/5G/Mesh, and realizes V2N (vehicle-network), V2V (vehicle-vehicle) and V2I (vehicle-infrastructure) communication.

BackgroundType 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is associated with an increased risk of heart failure (HF). Depression, a common comorbidity of T2DM, may further increase the risk of heart failure (HF). We investigated the association between depression and incident HF in patients with T2DM.Methods and resultsDepressive symptoms were assessed in the ACCORD Health-Related Quality of Life study participants at baseline, 12, 36, and 48 months using the nine-item Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9). The severity of depressive symptoms was categorized as none (0–4 points), mild (5–9 points), or moderate-severe (10–24 points). Cox regression with PHQ-9 as a time-dependent covariate was used to assess the association between depression and incident HF. During the median follow-up of 8.1 years, 104 participants developed HF (incidence: 7.1/1,000 person-years). Half of the participants with moderate-severe depression were relieved and a significant percentage of participants without depression or with mild depression worsened to mild or moderate-severe depression during the follow-up period, respectively. Each unit increase in the PHQ-9 score was associated with a 5% higher risk of HF (hazard ratio [HR]:1.05, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.01–1.10). Patients with depression ever (HR: 2.23, 95% CI: 1.25–3.98) or persistent depression (HR: 2.13, 95% CI: 1.05–4.44) had a higher risk of HF than those without depression ever.ConclusionDepressive symptoms change greatly in T2DM patients, depressive symptoms are an independent risk factor for HF. These results reinforce the importance of continuous evaluation and management of mental health status in T2DM patients with high HF risk.

An environmentally friendly and economically efficient forest road network is the key to sustainable forest management, and it is essential to evaluate the sustainability of an established forest road network and to optimize the forest road network based on sustainability criteria. This study proposes a sustainability evaluation method for forest road networks. The evaluation index system was constructed by selecting 12 indices from the social, economic, and ecological dimensions. To improve the credibility of the weighting of the evaluation indicators, the evaluation indicators were assigned subjective and objective weights by the analytic hierarchy process and the entropy weight method, respectively, and the game theory idea was used to comprehensively assign the weights. The study area was chosen to be the Taohuajiang State-Owned Forest Farm, which is a national forest park and is also an ecological public welfare forest. The development of the forest road network in the social, economic, and environmental dimensions was calculated by adopting the evaluation method proposed in this study, and the sustainability of the forest road network in each subdivision of the study area was determined, to provide a detailed theoretical basis for the management to carry out the upgrading of the sustainability of the forest road network. The results derived from the evaluation methodology show that the sustainable development of the forest road network in the study area is “excellent”. At the same time, the level of sustainability of the forest road network in different areas of the study area was also evaluated. Finally, this paper puts forward policy recommendations for optimizing the sustainable development of forest road networks. The original sustainability evaluation method in this paper provides a scientific tool for assessing the degree of sustainable development of forest road networks, which contributes to optimizing the forest road networks.

The detection and analysis of molecular clumps can lead to a better understanding of star formation in the Milky Way. Herein, we present a molecular-clump-detection method based on improved YOLOv5 joint Density Peak Clustering (DPC). The method employs a two-dimensional (2D) detection and three-dimensional (3D) stitching strategy to accomplish the molecular-clump detection. In the first stage, an improved YOLOv5 is used to detect the positions of molecular clumps on the Galactic plane, obtaining their spatial information. In the second stage, the DPC algorithm is used to combine the detection results in the velocity direction. In the end, the clump candidates are positioned in the 3D position-position-velocity (PPV) space. Experiments show that the method can achieve a high recall of 98.41% in simulated data made up of Gaussian clumps added to observational data. The efficiency of the strategy has also been demonstrated in experiments utilizing observational data from the Milky Way Imaging Scroll Painting (MWISP) project.

Accurate extraction of farmland boundaries is crucial for improving the efficiency of farmland surveys, achieving precise agricultural management, enhancing farmers’ production conditions, protecting the ecological environment, and promoting local economic development. Remote sensing and deep learning are feasible methods for creating large-scale farmland boundary maps. However, existing neural network models have limitations that restrict the accuracy and reliability of agricultural parcel extraction using remote sensing technology. In this study, we used high-resolution satellite images (2 m, 1 m, and 0.8 m) and the U2-Net++ model based on the RSU module, deep separable convolution, and the channel-spatial attention mechanism module to extract different types of fields. Our model exhibited significant improvements in farmland parcel extraction compared with the other models. It achieved an F1-score of 97.13%, which is a 7.36% to 17.63% improvement over older models such as U-Net and FCN and a more than 2% improvement over advanced models such as DeepLabv3+ and U2-Net. These results indicate that U2-Net++ holds the potential for widespread application in the production of large-scale farmland boundary maps.

In order to study the pore structures and their difference of different macroscopic coal rocks, eight groups of coal samples from Huanglong Coalfield and Jincheng Mining Area were collected, and the difference of pore structure between vitrain and durain was studied by mercury intrusion test and fractal theory. The results of the study show that the difference in the shape of mercury pressure curves between vitrain and durain is obvious. Compared with durain, vitrain has the characteristics of low mercury saturation and displacement pressure, high mercury removal efficiency and median pressure. Vitrain has the characteristics of macropores and micro-cracks development and good pore sorting characteristics. The pore shape is mainly semi-closed and has strong permeability, but the connectivity between macropores and transition is poor. The pore structure of durain has a large average pore diameter, especially the diffusion pores around 200 nm are relatively developed, which makes the pores between the macropores pores and the transition pores have good connectivity, and the pore shape is mainly open type with strong diffusion ability. The fractal dimension D2 of the durain is higher than that of the vitrain in general, which shows that the large-scale pore structure of the durain is more complex than that of the vitrain. The mutual layered structure of the two coals in the coal seam is more conducive to enhance the pore connectivity and improve the ability of desorption, diffusion and seepage in the coal seam.

Based on micro morphology, a thermo-mechanical coupling model of shape memory graphene oxide/epoxy resin (SMGO/EP) was proposed. The heat transfer capability, mechanical property and shape memory ability of shape memory polymer (SMP) were further investigated. The reliability of the modeling was verified by comparing the heat transfer and shape fixation rate of the experimental and simulation data. The results showed that the maximum error of heat transfer was 6.04%, and shape fixing rate error was 2.33%. When the volume fraction of GO was 1.50 vol%, the maximum stress can reach 158.39 MPa, 46.52% higher than that of pure shape memory EP. With the increase in the volume fraction of GO in the SMGO/EP composites, the heat transfer enhancement and recovery rate of SMGO/EP were directly affected by the doping content of GO. The surface temperature of the composites with GO doping content of 1.50 vol% was 20.26°C higher than that of pure SMEP after heating for 300 s. Under the coupling effect of heat transfer and stress characteristics, the mechanism of shape memory effect of SMGO/EP composites was revealed. The thermo-mechanical coupling modeling of SMGO/EP can effectively predict the shape memory characteristics of the SMGO/EP composites.

In order to control the gas flow of the working surface, improve the gas extraction capacity of the mining-out area, this paper takes Wangjialing Mine 12302 working surface as a test object, and the evolution law of mining-induced fractures in overburden rock after coal mining is studied. According to the actual pumping effect of the mine, the quantitative relationship of drilling layer and spacing under different daily advancing speed is studied, and the design of high drilling and the pumping effect are investigated. The development range and number of cracks in overburden gradually increased with the advance of working face. After several times of pressure, obvious compaction area was formed in the middle of overburden in goaf. In the gas rich area, the height of overburden caving zone was 28.2 m and the height of fracture zone was 118.6 m within the range of 20-50 m in inlet and return air roadway and 25-50 m above the roof of coal seam. The dominant horizon and spacing of drilling holes at different daily advancing speeds conform to a linear equation y=ax±b. After the high-position drilling designed according to the research results is implemented, the pure amount of gas extraction from contrast holes is lower than the other four holes, and the maximum pure amount of gas extraction from single hole is 51% higher than that from other drilling fields. The average gas extraction rate of high directional holes is 68%, which effectively improves the effect of gas extraction from working face and controls the gas emission from working face. The maximum gas volume fraction of the upper corner and the return flow is kept below 0.8% during the extraction period, which can ensure the safe production of the mine.

ObjectiveTo determine the epidemiological characteristics and risk factors of a norovirus GII.17 outbreak in Minhang District of Shanghai in 2018， and provide evidence for prevention and control measures of norovirus infection.MethodsDescriptive epidemiological analysis was performed. In addition， a retrospective cohort study was conducted to determine the risk factors.ResultsFrom May 30th to June 1st of 2018， a total of 132 cases （126 clinical cases and 6 confirmed cases） were documented，with an attack rate of 29.20%（132/452）.All cases were children in a kindergarten， with the average age of 5 years and 43.9% being male. The cases were reported in all the classes， with no clustering by class or floor．The epidemic curve was characterized by a point source exposure， which was estimated to be probably between 7 AM on May 30thand 0：30 AM on May 31st. The retrospective cohort study showed that the attack rate significantly differed between the children who had taken and did not take the school lunch （RR=∞） on May 30th，and those who had taken and did not take seafood noodles （RR=4.11， 95%CI：1.09-15.55） （P

Objective To compare curative effect between lenvatinib combined with locoregional therapy and locoregional therapy on PD-L1-positive hepatocellular carcinoma patients with type Ⅰ-Ⅲ portal vein tumor thrombus according to Cheng's classification. Methods The patients in lenvatinib combined with locoregional therapy group received orally-administered lenvatinib at a dose of 12 mg qd for patients≥60 kg or 8 mg qd for patients < 60 kg. The locoregional therapy group only received locoregional therapy. We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data and prognosis of two groups. Results The CR+PR were 78.1% and 53.6% in the combination group and locoregional therapy group, respectively (P < 0.05). The response rate, disease control rate and overall survival of the combination group were higher than those in the locoregional therapy group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The curative effect and overall survival of lenvatinib combined with locoregional therapy is better than locoregional therapy on PD-L1-positive hepatocellular carcinoma patients with type Ⅰ-Ⅲ portal vein tumor thrombus according to Cheng's classification.

The gas extraction effect during the initial pressure on the working face by using conventional high-level directional long drilling is poor. In order to solve the above problem, taking the project background of 12309 fully mechanized caving face of Wangjialing Mine of China Coal Huajin Group Co., Ltd. as an example, the paper analyzes the overburden rock structure and fracture development law of the coal seam roof in the fully mechanized caving face during the initial mining period by physical similar simulation and numerical calculation. During the initial mining period, the height of fractures is low and the number of fractures is small in the coal seam roof. With the advancement of working face, the roof fractures gradually develop, the height and range of fractures increase with the increase of advancement distance. The maximum height of the fractures is about 28 m, and the pressure step distance of the working face is about 50 m. During the initial mining period, the gas concentration and emission volume of the working face are relatively large. Along the working face tendency, the gas concentration gradually increases from 20 to 150 supports. Along the working face direction, the gas concentration gradually increases from 300 mm of the coal wall to the rear scraper conveyor. The gas emission volume of the goaf mining area accounts for more than 50% of the gas emission volume of the working face, and the gas emission volume as a whole is on an upward trend with obvious phase characteristics. According to the actual situation of the site and the gas emission characteristics, overburden rock structure and fracture evolution law of the fully mechanized caving face during the initial mining period, the trajectory of the conventional high-level directional drilling during the initial mining period is optimized, and the parabolic high-level directional drilling gas extraction method during the initial mining period is proposed. The final hole of the borehole is designed in the coal seam, which is directly connected with the goaf mining area and used for low level gas extraction in the mining area during the initial mining period of the working face. It solves the problem of high level of conventional high-level long borehole during the initial mining period. The field application results show that compared with the conventional high-level directional drilling, the use of parabolic high-level directional drilling can extract the low level gas in the goaf mining area effectively before the initial pressure of the basic roof of the working face. The average pure volume of gas extraction increases by about 37%, and the maximum gas volume fraction in the upper corner and return air flow is less than 0.80%. The result has achieved the expected effect of gas extraction.

In the reliability analysis of slope stability, the deterministic analysis method is usually used to calculate the safety factor to evaluate the stability of slope. However, the inherent spatial variability of rock mass properties cannot be considered and described adequately in traditional deterministic method, resulting in the inaccurate calculation of slope failure probability. Based on Hoek-Brown criterion and random finite difference method (RFDM), the reliability analysis of slope stability and random response of pile are discussed in this paper considering spatial variability of rock mass. The uniaxial compressive strength σci and material constant for the intact rock mi are regarded as random field variables and geological strength index GSI is assumed to be a random variable. The results show that the spatial variability of rock mass parameters has a significant effect on slope failure probability and pile response. Ignoring the spatial variability of rock mass parameters will overestimate slope failure probability and the mean value of the maximum bending moment of anti-slide pile, and underestimate the mean value of displacement at pile head. The results can provide design guidance for slope reinforcement as well as layout optimization of anti-sliding piles.

Specific domains of the Sugar-Sweetened Media Literacy Scale (SSM-ML) have been shown to significantly assess sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) calorie intake in the US population. This study aimed to describe the psychometric properties of the revised Chinese version of the SSB-ML (C-SSB-ML) and evaluate its validity and reliability. Results from 975 undergraduates at two of the largest universities in a province in southwest China showed that Cronbach's alphas for the overall scale, the three dimensions, and two-halves analysis were satisfactory (0.71–0.92). BackgroundThe impact of obesity on cognitive function in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) remains controversial. This study aimed to evaluate whether obesity, assessed by body mass index (BMI) was associated with cognitive function among T2DM patients and whether the effect of obesity on cognitive function was through brain structure.MethodsThis was a post-hoc analysis of the Action to Control Cardiovascular Risk in Diabetes–Memory in Diabetes (ACCORD-MIND) study. The cognitive test battery included the Digit Symbol Substitution Test (DSST), Mini-Mental State Exam (MMSE), Rey Auditory Verbal Learning Test (RAVLT), and STROOP test, which were administered at baseline, and at 20, 40, and 80 months. A subgroup (n = 614) of the ACCORD-MIND study underwent MRI scanning at baseline and at 40 and 80 months. The total brain volume (TBV), abnormal white matter volume (AWM), abnormal gray matter volume (AGM), and abnormal basal ganglia volume (ABG) were estimated. The outcomes of this study were cognitive function and brain structure.ResultsIn the adjusted analyses, BMI was positively associated with the MMSE (β:0.08, 95%CI,0.01-0.16, per standard deviation [SD] increase) and RAVLT scores (β:0.09, 95%CI,0.01-0.18). It was also associated with a greater TBV (β:7.48, 95%CI,0.29-14.67). BMI was not associated with the DSST or STROOP scores, and AWM, AGM, ABG. Objective To evaluate the prognosis-related factors of colorectal cancer patients with positive PD-L1 expression in liver metastases after hepatectomy. Methods We reviewed retrospectively the clinical data of 68 colorectal cancer patients with positive PD-L1 expression in liver metastases receiving personalized comprehensive treatment which was mainly consisted of surgical resection. We observed the results and prognosis after surgical resection and analyzed related factors. Results Univariate analysis showed that no radiotherapy, N stage, RAS mutation status, T stage, dMMR, Duck stage, disease free interval from primary to metastases≤12 months and largest hepatic tumor diameter > 5 cm had obvious significance (all P < 0.05). Multivariate logistic analysis regression revealed that without dMMR (P=0.012), Duck A stage (P=0.000), disease free interval from primary to metastases > 12 months (P=0.020) and largest hepatic tumor diameter < 5 cm (P=0.006) were independent protective factors for the prognosis of colorectal cancer patients with positive PD-L1 expression in liver metastases after surgical resection. Conclusion Personalized comprehensive treatment which is mainly consisted of surgical resection still has a good effect on colorectal cancer patients with positive PD-L1 expression in liver metastases after hepatectomy. Without dMMR, Duck A stage, disease free interval from primary to metastases > 12 months and largest hepatic tumor diameter ≤5cm are independent protective factors for patients' prognosis.
