Abstract

International audience; An effective Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technique, that can be used in a variety of environmental conditions, is tackled with in this note. To this aim, an MPPT control based on a T-S fuzzy model is applied improving thus the performance and the efficiency of a solar photovoltaic (PV) generator. The nonlinear system's dynamics are embedded in a T-S fuzzy model. Sufficient criteria for designing such fuzzy control policy are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities based on a quadratic Lyapunov function combined with some helpful slack variables (i.e. dilated quadratic LMI conditions). The proposed method reduces tracking time while overcoming the oscillation that usually appear near the maximum powerpoint. Besides, the simulation of a photovoltaic system using the proposed control policy demonstrates the efficiency of the approach even in the case of climate changes.

Abstract

International audience; This paper considers the design of a static output feedback (SOF) H_\infty controller for a polynomial Takagi-Sugeno(T–S) system in the continuous-time setting. The sought SOF controller guarantees asymptotic stability and H_\infty performance of the closed-loop system. Sufficient conditions for the existence of such SOF controllers are derived, in the form of sum-of-squares (SOS) using polynomial Lyapunov functions (PLF). These conditions do not include an iterative algorithm or an equality constraint which leads to a more tractable solution. The proposed gain is obtained by means of less conservative conditions than existing ones. This is illustrated through some numerical examples which demonstrate, at the same time, the applicability of the suggested design approach.

Abstract

International audience; This paper will focus on static output feedback (SOF) control for continuous time Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems. Based on the use of the concept of decay rate in the quadratic Lyapunov function, sufficient conditions for designing fuzzy SOF control are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Moreover, the proposed method overcomes the drawback of the iterative algorithms based on LMI approach, and does not need any equality constraints; in addition, it can provide less conservative results. In the end, numerical and practical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

29. Robust H∞ Control of Takagi–Sugeno Systems with Actuator Saturation

Abstract

Producción Científica, The robust static output feedback control for continuous-time Takagi–Sugeno systems subject to actuator saturation is solved here, including H∞ performance guarantees. Based on a polytopic model of the saturation, sufficient conditions are proposed for designing these controllers in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities. With the aid of some special derivations, bilinear matrix inequalities are converted into a set of linear matrix inequalities which can be solved easily without requiring iterative algorithms or equality constraints, moreover, the output matrix of the considered system does not require to be full row rank. Finally, some examples are presented to show the validity of the proposed methodology.

Abstract

This article deals with the problem of robust static output feedback H∞ control in finite frequency (FF) domain for polynomial Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy systems. By using generalized Kalman–Yakubovich–Popov lemma and polynomial Lyapunov functions, sufficient conditions are proposed for controllers design in terms of sum of squares. These conditions include neither transformation matrices nor equality constraints, which simplifies the numerical solution. The proposed method is designed in the FF domain to reduce the conservativeness generated by those designed in the full frequency domain. The design of H ∞ control for two-dimensional (2-D) Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with stochastic perturbation described by the second Fornasini-Marchesini (FM II) model has been solved in this paper. With the aid of the Generalised Kalman Yakubovich-Popov (GKYP) Lemma, sufficient conditions of the existence of the finite frequency (FF) H ∞ control are presented, in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). New conditions guaranteeing finite frequency of the closed-loop systems are further derived to design H ∞ fuzzy control, where state-feedback control law is considered. Abstract

This paper deals with static output-feedback H∞control for a system of the vehicle lateral dynamics, represented by Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy models. Sufficient conditions of the existence of H∞control based on the static output-feedback are presented. The bilinear matrix inequalities are converted to a set of linear matrix inequalities, with the aid of some special derivations. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
