The Cerrado biome, predominant in the region of Sete Lagoas is marked by fruit species of the local flora, such as: Araticum, Cagaita, Jatobá, Mangaba, Pequi, among others that are not always known by the community. Environmental education is an important tool for awareness and preservation of the local biome. The extension program aims to bring the community knowledge of the biome and the typical fruit species of the region that are not known and recognized. Inducing a new look and expanding knowledge among students in order to highlight the biome and its characteristics in a playful and didactic way. The program was successful in interventions and achieved satisfactory results in relation to students' perception of classroom work, extolling the biome in which they live, generating new multipliers. The work done in an interdisciplinary way achieved an increase in the percentage of correct answers compared to the numbers obtained before the interventions.

The Chemistry is the slope of the science that investigates the composition, the properties and transformations of the atoms that form the matter, by definition. In this way the current methodology used in the basic education cycle, mainly in secondary education, which seeks to be broad in a short period of time, limits the action of teachers to the theoretical content, making it impossible to carry out practices. These classes make it possible to integrate the subjects taught in the classroom with the reality of the students and, in this context, Analytical Chemistry is one of the branches of Chemistry that best integrates the theoretical contents into practical applications. In this project, analytical contents used: "Degree Technique" for the deepening of Chemistry in two groups of third year of secondary education of the State School Eponina Soares dos Santos, located in the municipality of Sete Lagoas-MG. In the meetings, visual resources used in the form of seminars associated with the adaptation of the theoretical contents with the premise of allowing the students to perform analysis. A primer was prepared with the contents presented and with the scripts of low-cost analytical practices. As a parameter, two evaluations of the students made at the beginning and end of the project and it observed that there was an improvement in performance in the area of general knowledge of chemistry in terms of concepts and everyday applications.

The Cerrado is one of the six Brazilian biomes and offers a wide variety of edible fruit species. This article is the result of an outreach program entitled Cagaita and Pequi, Economic and Social Importance of the Population of Sete Lagoas, created in 2014. It aimed to take information and build knowledge in the community about the possibility that the fruits of the Cerrado present, especially pequi and cagaita. He sought to contribute to raising awareness of the preservation of the environment and the inclusion of low-income local people, who can use the fruits as alternative food and generate income, thereby protecting and ensuring the survival of future generations and countless families that use the fruits. Still, he tried to contribute to the training and education of the students of the courses of Food Engineering and Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Biosystems UFSJ. As interventions were used methodology of work in Sete Lagoas and the region, with the support of leaflets, flyers and posters

The Brazilian Cerrado has enormous diversity featuring a large number of fruit native plants that have a high nutritional value and distinctive flavor. This work belongs to an extension program of Cerrado fruits, where two species stand out in this region: Cagaita tree (Eugenia dysenterica DC) and Pequi tree (Caryocar brasiliense). The same was done in a neighborhood located near the Federal University of Sao Joao del Rei, Campus of Sete Lagoas - MG and developed in two municipal schools, with the participation of students of 4th and 5th years and other servers. The goal of this project was to disseminate knowledge to the participants of the reality that surrounds them, and on these two fruits of the Cerrado, providing support materials for environmental preservation awareness. The work took four steps, one of which was to answer a questionnaire by students. The main results showed that students, teachers and cooks did not know Pequi and Cagaita, native fruit species of one of the richest biomes and threatened the world. It was possible to realize the interest of those involved in the project, in order to educate about the importance of ensuring the collection and use of these fruits for the next generations.

The present work had as main objectives to disseminate information about environmental education, and focusing primarily on the topic of water, within the reality of the neighborhood next college in Sete Lagoas - MG. The program is divided into five stages involving analysis waters, intervention in classrooms and in the neighborhood and the preparation of teaching materials on the subject of the environment, especially water. The activities took place for the first time in two schools, and later throughout the neighborhood, located on the highest point of the city, causing difficulty in capturing SAAE (Autonomous service, water and sewage ) and distribution of water for residents. In addition, water has good palatability, therefore residents neighborhood region and look for other sources to meet their needs, including the use of tanks and water from the mine, which is 600 meters located on a farm where residents using this water for consumption. Through project activities students had the stimulus is going to read and write, the discovery of new words and subjects and were able to use the study material inside and outside the classroom, but also through activities residents will have a better understanding of the chemical aspects of water and its importance at the time of consumption.

The cerrado presents a diversity of fruit species known and used by the population, these species present big potential economic and ecological, awakening the interest industries, in addition to presenting source income for local population. The cagaiteira (Eugenia dysenterica) is an typical tree do cerrado presents a great potential, however o consumption its fruit still is little diffused by the population that many times is unaware of its health benefits. O goal of this work was bring information for the population of the micro-region of Sete Lagoas on the potentialities natural that o cerrado presents, so that there a greater preservation of the cagaiteiras present region in, being able to be used as an alternative source of feeding interfering significantly in the improvement of feeding and contribution nutritional. The results have shown that the this work interventions of contributed to a better dissemination of information on the cagaita promoting a better use of this species fruitful through the population
