Biopolymer network dynamics play a significant role in both biological and materials science. This study focuses on the dynamics of cellulose nanofibers as a model system given their relevance to biology and nanotechnology applications. Using large-scale coarse-grained simulations with a lattice Boltzmann fluid coupling, we investigated the reptation behavior of individual nanofibers within entangled networks. Our analysis yields essential insights, proposing a scaling law for rotational diffusion, quantifying effective tube diameter, and revealing release mechanisms during reptation, spanning from rigid to semiflexible nanofibers. Additionally, we examine the onset of entanglement in relation to the nanofiber flexibility within the network. Microrheology analysis is conducted to assess macroscopic viscoelastic behavior. Importantly, our results align closely with previous experiments, validating the proposed scaling laws, effective tube diameters, and onset of entanglement. [CA] Aquest Treball de Fi de Grau consisteix en la creació d'una obra gràfica en format de llibre d'artista que evidència el progrés anímic de l'autora després d'experimentar la ruptura d'una relació amorosa. Així, s'empra l'expressió artística per conscienciar d'aquestos conflictes emocionals i reflexionar al seu voltant d'una forma un tant terapèutica. Aquest llibre forma part d'una sèrie de tres llibres d'artista que va començar amb la creació de "Distància", on es tracta el sofriment darrere de la ruptura, sent aquest Treball de Fi de Grau la seua continuació amb "Re-connexió", on s'aprecia el desenvolupament de l'autora i les diferents reflexions que la inquieten i "Ja no necessite recordar-te", el tercer llibre d'aquesta sèrie. Les pàgines es conformen a través d'un format quadrat, jugant amb la doble pàgina, i emprant recursos com el dibuix, la fotografia el brodat i la presa d'imatges a través de l'escàner. S'experimenta amb la relació entre imatge i text mitjançant la composició, la tècnica, etc.; tant les imatges com els textos són de caràcter autobiogràfic, ja que a més d'expressar els pensaments de l'autora es recorre de forma habitual a l'autorretrat i l'ús dels elements de la seua quotidianitat, formant una obra molt íntima., [EN] This Final Degree Project consists on a graphic piece in the form of an artist's book whcih proves the author's mood progression after living a breakup. Hence, she has used the artistic expression to raise awareness of these emotional conflicts and to reflect on them in a sort of therapeutic way. This book is part of an artist's book series, which starts with the creation of "Distància", which deals with the pain during the breakup. "Re-connexió" is its prolongation, in which it is appreciated the development of the author and the different thoughts that disturb her. The third book of this series is "Ja no necessite recordar-te", which was also developed during the creation of this Final Degree Project. Pages are made in a squared format, playing with the double page and usign resources such as drawing, photography, embroidery and scanned images. It experiments with the relationship between image and text through composition and technique - both image and text are autobiographic, becauyse, in addition to narrating the author's toughts,m self-portrait and the use of elements of her daily life are frequently used.

Concepción de Guajuí, es un corregimiento que pertenece al municipio de Guapi, en el departamento del Cauca, zona rural - situada en la margen izquierda del río Guajuí, siendo este su principal y único medio de comunicación-. Concepción ha sido una población vulnerable a raíz del olvido por parte del gobierno, falta de planes de desarrollo, no cuentan con energía eléctrica, acueducto, equipamientos de salud y viviendas en muy mal estado según el análisis del trabajo de campo realizado. Con nuestro proyecto, proponemos un mejoramiento integral del hábitat, a través del concepto de Eco aldea, por medio de la intervención y mejoramiento de la infraestructura, espacio público, vivienda y equipamientos, a través de un prototipo de vivienda para la expansión del asentamiento; por otra parte, diseño del espacio público, un salón comunitario que permita diferentes actividades, una cancha y espacios para niños y adolescentes. Además de la revitalización del centro de salud y el espacio público, se proponen lugares para la práctica de la permacultura (Holmgren D. M., 1978). Para llevar a cabo el proyecto, se realizan varias fases, revisión bibliográfica preliminar, análisis teórico y conceptual, trabajo de campo, diagnóstico, propuesta urbana, propuesta arquitectónica y estrategias tecnológicas. Adicionalmente se genera un análisis y sistematización de las necesidades y/o problemáticas que presenta, después se hace el desarrollo de la propuesta para socializar con la comunidad. Nuestro aporte tendrá tres enfoques, enfoque en la infraestructura, la cual tendrá como objetivo proponer el desarrollo de la vivienda a nivel tecnológico, y saneamiento básico en dos prototipos de vivienda y mejoramiento en la actual por medio de módulos. En el aspecto socio cultural, crear espacios de recreación, salón comunal y espacio para niños y adolescentes además de una cancha de futbol. Miniaturized devices integrated by nanoconduits have a great potential for clinical and biotechnological analysis due to amplified sensibility, faster response and increased portability. In nanoconduits, wherein the electrical double layer can occupy a considerable part of the cross section, Electro-Kinetic Phenomena (EKP) play a key role in determining transport properties of electrolytes. Hence, a comprehensive understanding of EKP and related phenomenology such as charge inversion (CI), is essential to develop more efficient nanodevices. Here, atomistic simulations of Poiseuille flow of aqueous multivalent electrolyte solutions in silica nanochannels are conducted to study the influence of CI on fluid properties. The solutions consist of water as solvent, chloride as co-ion and different amounts of counter-ions i.e. sodium, magnesium, aluminum and calcium. From atomistic trajectories, the relation between the concentration of different cations and, local and effective viscosities is analyzed considering the particular hydration shell around each ionic species. Moreover, the effect of CI on flow velocity, stick boundary condition, shear stress and friction coefficient is examined.

The growing need of water resources for different uses, in nature and in human activities has stimulated and increased the detailed study of the stages of the water cycle. Costa Rica is a country with many rivers throughout its area, which is located in the tropics and where it rains significantly throughout the year. This means that most of the rivers raise their water flow significantly, causing loss or damage of civil infrastructure and problems in extensive agricultural areas. Specifically, La Estrella River overflows have caused serious damage, to nearby plantations and affected people from nearby villages. The objective of this study is to determine the hydraulic capacity of La Estrella River to transport sediment. To do this a stepwise methodology was used. This involved several trips to the study site in order to collect sediment samples and flow rate measurements at different locations of the river. The sediment samples were subsequently analyzed in the laboratory. Finally, sediment transport calculations were performed by means of various theoretical equations. The result, values of the amount of sediment that the river can transport under similar conditions to those founded in the field trips., La creciente necesidad del recurso hídrico para los diferentes usos, tanto en la naturaleza como en las actividades del ser humano, ha estimulado un incremento en el estudio detallado de cada una de las fases del ciclo hidrológico. Costa Rica, un país con muchos ríos a lo largo de todo el territorio y situado en el trópico, tiene muchas precipitaciones durante el año, lo que provoca un aumento significativo del caudal en la mayoría de los ríos y, con ellos, desastres en infraestructura civil así como en áreas agrícolas. Específicamente, los desbordamientos del río La Estrella han ocasionado muchos daños, tanto a plantaciones cercanas como a las personas de los poblados de los alrededores. El propósito del siguiente trabajo fue determinar la capacidad hidráulica del río La Estrella para transportar sedimentos. Para esto se utilizó una metodología por etapas; entre ellas, varias giras al lugar de estudio para tomar muestras de sedimentos y realizar aforos en distintos puntos, todo esto con el fin de obtener los datos necesarios para procesar la información. Luego se realizaron trabajos de laboratorio y los cálculos respectivos para cuantificar la cantidad de sedimentos que son transportados en los distintos puntos de medición por medio de varias ecuaciones teóricas. Se obtuvieron los valores para la cantidad de sedimentos que el río La Estrella puede transportar bajo condiciones similares a las que presentaba en las giras realizadas.
