Klatak satay is a unique satay and can only be found in Yogyakarta. The klatak satay, typical of Bantul Regency, is made from chunks of goat meat skewered with an iron rod. The meat is covered in a special simple concoction of spices such as garlic and salt. After that, satay grilled over charcoal is a culinary variation that is present in the midst of a culture in Bantul Regency. The author conducted qualitative research with a descriptive approach that aims to explore data related to community strategies in developing sate klatak culinary tourism in Bantul Regency. The informants in this study are visitors, sellers, and the local government. Collecting data in this study using three ways, namely, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research from the trader's strategy in developing culinary satay klatak, which is a creative strategy by finding promoting ideas on social media, showing the advantages of oyster products based on arts and crafts, and highlighting tourism based on natural beauty. The impact of the roasted oyster seller strategy in Bantul Regency is the economic impact.

The emergence of digital literature as an object of digital copyright is one of the phenomena of the development of information technology. However, unlimited access to digital containers can make it easier for someone to misuse a work of digital literature against rights. Each country, through its national laws, then tries to provide legal protection for the parties, including the United States through the Digital Copyright Millennium Act (DMCA) and Indonesia through the Copyright Act 2014 (UHC). This research will discuss the regulation of digital literature translation contained in the DMCA and UHC. This research is juridical-normative with the case, statutory, and comparative approaches, whose data collection is done through a literature study. The results of the study concluded that, First, the DMCA has comprehensively regulated the provisions of digital copyright so that it has provided legal certainty. In contrast, the UUHC has not been regulated completely, so it does not provide legal certainty. Second, the DMCA and UUHC are still unable to accommodate the ideal legal protection of digital literature, and Third, the provisions of the DMCA and UUHC also still do not provide legal benefits from the regulation of digital copyright.

Ecotourism and agrotourism have contributed to green economic development as well as to the development of plant variety protection. Agrotourism is a form of commercial enterprise that links agricultural production and/or processing with tourism to attract visitors to a farm or other agricultural businesses for recreation, entertainment, or education for visitors and to generate income for the farm or the business owner. Ecotourism encompasses nature-based activities that increase visitor appreciation and understanding of natural and cultural values. In order to encourage the community and business owners to participate in eco-tourism and agrotourism, it is imperative to protect plant variety as one of the regimes of intellectual property rights. The aim of the research is to analyze the impacts of ecotourism and agrotourism based on plant variety protection contributing to the sustainability of biodiversity and green economic growth in Indonesia comprehensively. This research is normative juridical research by employing conceptual and statutory approaches. The result of the research found that enhancing ecotourism and agrotourism based on plant variety protection can sustain and enrich biodiversity achieving green economic growth in Indonesia. However, there are some achievements and challenges that have to be addressed, such as the harmonization of the regulations, encouragement of the community and business owner participation in ecotourism and agrotourism by creating a new variety of plants to enhance biodiversity to achieve green economy development in Indonesia.

Many of the participants of marketing affiliation programs are children, and their parents have not approved of their participation in the marketing affiliation program. This allegedly occurred because the information system of the application organizer in the affiliation program did not accommodate the alignment of legal requirements, which is one of the conditions for the validity of a contract. The purpose of this study is to normatively elaborate on the general practice of organizing marketing affiliation programs in Indonesia, particularly in identifying the legal loopholes for the program participants who happen to be underage and without parental permission. This study concluded that the registration system for marketing affiliation programs has loopholes that do not prevent participation in marketing affiliation programs by underage participants who do not have parental permission. Given that the loophole indirectly ignores the conditions of capacity, this will almost certainly affect the existence of electronic contracts agreed upon by the parties. Information system operators in marketing affiliation programs must create a more accommodating system to meet these legal requirements’ full scope. The system can be developed, particularly during the registration phase, so that the system has a filtering mechanism for immature registrants. As a result, changes to regulations governing electronic transaction practices are required to ensure that electronic transaction operators develop an electronic transaction system that meets the requirements for adult age limits and parental consent. In Starbucks Corporation Trademark Dispute against PT Sumatera Tobacco Trading Company, PT Sumatera Tobacco Trading Company won because it had previously registered the same Starbucks trademark as a cigarette. The ruling was made by the Commercial Court of Central Jakarta Decision No. 51/Pdt.Sus/Tra. However, the Starbucks Corporation won at the cassation (third instance) level in the Supreme Court by Decision No. 836 K/Rev.Sus-HKI/2022 since the owner of the coffee trademark was classified as a well-known trademark. In the wake of this, it is essential to research and evaluate how the judges’ processes differ between the instances and how is the protection system of companies and trademarks that are well-known in Indonesia. This article aims at elaborating the trademark ownership by the local government in Yogyakarta. As an effort to leverage the region’s historical status in order to add value to products made in this region, the Special Region of Yogyakarta (the “DIY” or the “DIY Government”) has registered its trademarks like “Jogjamark” and “100% Jogja.” However, there remains a question as to wether the DIY Government have the same rights and obligations concerning intellectual property as private entities, as longa a municipal government is concerned. Generally, a public legal entity is subject to the same laws, with both rights and obligations, as any other legal entity. In this context, the local government of the DIY’s registration of these marks clearly confirms that the Local Government of the DIY is the trademark owner of those trademarks. This registration requires the question as to whether this government entity can legally own registered trademarks or not. In addition, even if the registration is legal, to what extent can the local government use and protect its intellectual property? This paper will address these two issues through an empirical research study, and determines that as a legal entity, the local government can and should own trademarks for the benefit of its population.

Purpose of the study: This study aims to provide a proposed model for intellectual property as a waqf asset with the perspective of legal substance and legal structure. Methodology: This study was conducted by examining various regulations in the field of waqf. In-depth Interviews with the Indonesian Waqf Board and D.G.I.P. are used to identify obstacles to the implementation of I.P.R. Waqf. The data obtained were analyzed using a qualitative approach and presented in the descriptive form. Main Findings: The results show that B.W.I., P.P.A.I.W., Appraisal, and Commercial Court play an important role in establishing a legal structure for the implementation of I.P.R. waqf. P.P.P.A.I.W. directly pertains to success in the administration of I.P.R. waqf. B.W.I., as a Nazir advisor, is needed in the socialization and enhancement of Nazir competencies, especially Intellectual Property Rights. Commercial Court, as a judicial institution that has the authority to provide the determination, can be involved in the process of implementing I.P.R. waqf. Meanwhile, to find out the economic value of I.P.R., an appraisal can also be involved. Applications of this study: This study is useful for the Indonesian Government to make implementing regulations regarding Waqf with I.P.R. assets.

In some countries, this problem has been been solved through the establishment of legislation that allows the painters' origin or their heirs to benefit economically from the high prices of paintings by dividing the percentage of its value to the painters' origin or their heirs. This legislation effort is made in order to govern the concept artists' resale right to the provision of positive law.Meanwhile, in Indonesia, when reviewing the provisions of the applicable legislation, which one of that is the Act No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright in Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as the Act No. 28 of 2014), it can be seen that the arrangement of the artists' resale right seems not been regulated yet. With the absence of this provision, accordingly it has become a challenge for Indonesian painters and the government to take steps in legalization of artists' resale right into Indonesian positive law. The nature of monopoly gives authority to the right holder to utilize a copyright, to permit other parties to use the right, and even to prohibit other parties from using the right.Copyright as an exclusive right is divided into two parts, moral rights and economic rights. A moral right is a right that stays with the creator. According to Stewart, who is cited by Otto Hasibuan, there are three fundamental aspects of a moral right:a. Droit de divulgation (the right of publication), which is the right to decide whether the work is to be made public.b. Droit de paternite (the right of paternity), which is the right to claim authorship of published works.c. The main issues in this research include: first, what the legal issues and cases are related to the protection of copyright on internet? Second, how is the development of the copyright protection recently? Third, is the collaboration of law and technology as the model of copyright protection on internet? This research was conducted by using the normative legal method. The result of the research showed some conclusions: first, the presence of internet has brought a negative impact on the attitude and behavior of human. Such negative impact is reflected with the increasing cases of copyright infringement. Therefore, the issue of copyright protection on internet becomes one of crucial issues. Second, recently, the copyright protection on internet can be done through technology approach or legal approach. If these two approaches are conducted separately, then the copyright protection on internet is found very difficult to be realized. To realize the copyright protection, then the model of the collaboration between the technology approach and legal approach becomes something certain. Third, the instrument of the copyright protection in internet collaborates between the technology and legal approach as seen in the regulation in Article 11 and 18 WIPO Internet Treaties and in some other countries such as United States and Indonesia.

Intellectual property rights or abbreviated IPR is a legal instrument that is very strategic in protecting the products of SMEs. In fact, IPR not only has the function of protecting the products of SMEs, but it can also encourage the business development activities of SMEs. However, there are some problems that arise and need right solution in practice. However, the existence of the rules has not provided optimum protection to the potential geography in Indonesia. One of the Obstacles is the existence of the implementation nrle to support the enforcement of geographical indication on the Act No. 15/2001 has not yet issued.

This study aims to examine and identify criteria for patents that can be used as waqf assets. Patents are very potential as waqf asset because of a large number of patent holders in Indonesia with the requirements of productive waqf. Patents are a type of Intellectual Property with the provision of a specified period and are still a debate related to the period of waqf which is always a pro and contradiction, some scholars consider waqf property to be forever but in the waqf law is allowed a waqf property with a specified period. This research method uses a normative legal research method with a Law approach and concept approach as well as secondary data review. The Act used is the Patent Law and the Waqf Act. The results show that the patent that can be used as an waqf asset refers to the provision of waqf property which includes (1) legal ownership of the patent owner and evidenced by a patent certificate (2) is not controversial which means not in a legal dispute until in Kracht van gewijsde or not in internal conflicts for patents owned by several inventors (3) have economic value and use value so that it can benefit the community. Patents can be used as an waqf asset because in the Waqf Law it is explained that the waqf property may be for a specified period. The period in the patent waqf in the deed of the waqf pledge must be adjusted to the period of patent protection.

The development of informational technology have appeared new transaction pattern that is called electronic commerce (e-commerce). E-commerce is a transaction pattern which uses technology of information. Through e-commerce transaction, it gained much of things economically. But if it is viewed from jurisdical side, the e-commerce transaction model still have problem in law. Regulation of law support for optimalisation of utility the techonology of information, especially in the e-commerce therefore must be realized. Concretization of this law regulation is realized in the form of the management on relations involved in transaction and it is not managementon its technology.
