The residue number system is widely used in cryptography, digital signal processing, image processing systems, and other areas where high-performance computing is required. One of the main tools used in the residue number system is the Akushsky core function. However, its use is limited due to the existence of so-called critical cores. This study aims to develop Akushsky core functions that effectively eliminate the occurrence of critical cores, thereby enhancing their applicability in real-world scenarios. We introduce a fundamental approach to critical core detection that reduces the average time for critical core detection by 99.48% compared to the brute force algorithm. The results of our analysis indicate not only a substantial improvement in the speed of core detection but also an enhancement in the overall performance of systems utilizing the Akushsky core function. Photovoltaic installations typically use fixed-mount photovoltaics (PV) panels with a constant orientation throughout the year. However, this does not maximize the energy output since the irradiance received by the panels depends on the sun position and the weather. This paper presents a novel approach to maximize the energy produced by fixed-mount PV panels for short-term and for permanent PV installations. For permanent installations, we considered a multiple-tilt scenario where the panel orientation is modified throughout the year. We developed a bi-layer algorithm to optimize the angles and timing of adjustments. Our method has been implemented in an open-source software, allowing optimal orientations and dates to be calculated for any installation. The optimal dates and the optimal angles have been successfully calculated for PV panels located at Reykjavik (Iceland), Sherbrooke (Canada), Quito (Ecuador), and Brasília (Brazil). We found that two reorientations per year were the most suitable option for all locations, resulting in a 3 % to 4.8 % gain in annual energy production compared to no reorientation. For short-term installations, using optimal orientation can improve energy production, with for instance 13 % improvement for a monthly installation in Brasilia.

Studying password-cracking techniques is essential in the information security discipline as it highlights the vulnerability of weak passwords and the need for stronger security measures to protect sensitive information. While both methods aim to uncover passwords, both approach the task in different ways. A brute force algorithm generates all possible combinations of characters in a specified range and length, while the dictionary attack checks against a predefined word list. This study compares the efficiency of these methods using parallel versions of Python, C++, and Hashcat. The results show that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with CUDA is significantly faster than the Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 GPU for cracking passwords, with a speedup of 11.5× and 10.4× for passwords with and without special characters, respectively. Special characters increase password-cracking time, making the process more challenging. The results of our implementation indicate that parallel processing greatly improves the speed of password-cracking techniques. The brute force algorithm achieved a speedup of 1.9× with six cores, while the dictionary attack showed a speedup of 4.4× with eight-core static scheduling. Gas leakages are a worldwide threat and adversely affect the lives of all living beings. These gas leakages can increase poor air quality across most parts of the world, which is one of the primary reasons for the declining health and increasing diseases among humans and animals. It is essential to start tracking these gas leakages before they cause problems. In Malawi, due to the current shortage of energy and power, people have turned to other sources of energy and power, frequently using gas for cooking and other activities. Therefore, there is a high and increasing number of gas leakage threats, which are becoming a significant concern for our daily lives in Malawi. Therefore, controlling gas leakage will be essential. With an IoT-based system, a system has been created that can detect gas leakage and monitor safety whenever gas equipment is being used at home. Dynamic spectrum sharing is a distributive opportunistic spectrum access for wireless users to access the spectrum any time dynamically. This proposed approach provides a spectrum allocation technique to the users based on a multi-objective genetic optimization algorithm in interweave mode of spectrum sharing. The multiple objectives targeted are minimizing BER, minimizing Power consumption, and maximizing the Throughput and minimizing interference. This proposed algorithm is compared with the existing Brute force algorithm and provides a gradual increase in the fitness value for an increase in the transmission BW. Algorithms for the extraction of formal concepts are widely studied in several areas of knowledge, such as finance, health, and statistics. However, these algorithms require high‐performance processing due to their combinatorial characteristics. In this work, an Open computing language (OpenCL)‐based Brute Force algorithm is proposed and evaluated for formal concept extraction on heterogeneous architectures (CPU+GPU and CPU+FPGA). The CPU+GPU architecture presents higher performance and scalability than other architectures when our Brute Force algorithm processes high dimensional contexts with many objects and attributes. Our parallel approach shows performance results up to 18× better than a smarter sequential algorithm called Data‐Peeler. Moreover, our Brute Force algorithm running on CPU+GPU architecture has greater energy efficiency, reaching at least 1.79× more operations per energy consumption than other algorithms on different architectures explored in this work. Nowadays, the residential sector of Kazakhstan accounts for about 30% of the total energy consumption. Therefore, it is essential to analyze the energy estimation model for residential buildings in Kazakhstan so as to reduce energy consumption. This research is aimed to develop the Overall Thermal Transfer Value (OTTV) based Building Energy Simulation Model (BESM) for the reduction of energy consumption through the envelope of residential buildings in seven cities of Kazakhstan. A brute force optimization method was adopted to obtain the optimal envelope configuration varying window-to-wall ratio (WWR), the angle of a pitched roof, the depth of the overhang shading system, the thermal conductivity, and the thicknesses of wall composition materials. In addition, orientation-related analyses of the optimized cases were conducted. Finally, the economic evaluation of the base and optimized cases were presented. The results showed that an average energy reduction for heating was 6156.8 kWh, while for cooling it was almost 1912.17 kWh. The heating and cooling energy savings were 16.59% and 16.69%, respectively. The frontage of the building model directed towards the south in the cold season and north in the hot season demonstrated around 21% and 32% of energy reduction, respectively. The energy cost savings varied between 9657 to 119,221 ₸ for heating, 9622 to 36,088 ₸ for cooling.

Intrusion detection systems (IDS) are indispensible for all types of networks to protect them from the intruders. The IDS have to process millions of network packets with many features, which delay the detection of anomalies. To understand the attacks of the past and to design proper tools to defeat their impending peril, Host-based IDS or HIDS, establishes to be a robust design. An Efficacious Intellectual Framework for Host based Intrusion Detection with Rule Structure Generation and Pattern Matching algorithm sets the rule structure for the unknown attack generated by using Association Rule Mining in the Map Reduce Framework. It is accomplished in two stages. In the first stage, an efficacious Rule structure is generated using Intellectual method. In the second stage, Brute Force algorithm pattern matching algorithm is utilized in the proposed framework. It is proper to audit and review logs for malicious activity. Notably intrusions are rare after proven analysis to prevent the attacks to happen. Artificial Immune System (AIS) algorithm is a novel and vibrant computational paradigm, enthused by the biological immune system. Over the last few years, the artificial immune system has been sprouting to solve numerous computational and combinatorial optimization problems. In this paper, we introduce the restricted MAX-kSAT as a constraint optimization problem that can be solved by a robust computational technique. Hence, we will implement the artificial immune system algorithm incorporated with the Hopfield neural network to solve the restricted MAX-kSAT problem. The proposed paradigm will be compared with the traditional method, Brute force search algorithm integrated with Hopfield neural network. The results demonstrate that the artificial immune system integrated with Hopfield network outperforms the conventional Hopfield network in solving restricted MAX-kSAT. All in all, the result has provided a concrete evidence of the effectiveness of our proposed paradigm to be applied in other constraint optimization problem.
