Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to explain the concept of downsizing and the way of its implementation in enterprises. Also, the aim is to point out the inevitable negative consequences that occur in the company, related to employees and their behavior. Under pressure from the global economy, businesses are in a constant race for high-level competitiveness and profitability. In most developed and developing countries, restructuring processes are intense and often present in companies. Downsizing, as one of the possible organizational restructuring strategies, can be implemented in several ways. The idea is mainly to reduce the number of employees, which reduced the cost of doing business, but at the same time, several negative consequences affected employees and organizational behavior.

2. The design of a full flow dilution tunnel with a critical flow Venturi for the measurement of diesel engine particulate emission

Abstract

An appropriate type of dilution tunnel is chosen, based on the international standards, user's needs and the manufacturer's requirements. During the design process, a number of restrictions specified in the standards for emission and Venturis were taken into account. The data required to address basic concepts were obtained from numerous emission tests performed at the IMR Institute. A short algorithm of calculation of the critical flow Venturi (CFV) is also presented. Specific attention is paid to the problems of the measurement of particulate emissions using the dilution method, which does not allow us to use the unique thermodynamic and flow parameters. A method of evaluation of particulate emissions for two extreme cases which were expected during the tests was adopted. Using the results of calculations, a full flow dilution tunnel with CFV was manufactured and tested at the IMR Institute.

9. The importance of an efficient work of diesel engines heaters

Abstract

Heater diesel engines, with the flame heating, a system that facilitates starting the diesel internal combustion engines, especially in cold weather. In order to find opportunities to increase the temperature of the intake air of diesel engines, was followed by a study of the new construction of the burner heater using a specified algorithm. Intake manifold of diesel engine was adapted to watch the propagation of flame heater and assessment the quality. This experiment was conducted using the methodology already developed for laboratory testing of the technical and functional characteristics of the heater using modern systems for measurement, data acquisition and process monitoring tests. Studies have shown that shorter start the diesel engine when using the heater with the burner of the sixteen orifices. This indicates that these heaters with a different frame of commercial burner, enabling more efficient heating of the intake air. The number of orifices in the burner of the heater has a direct impact on the flame or to reliably start diesel engines.

10. Optimization of hydraulic lifting system in IMR tractors

Abstract

Purpose of hydraulics lifting system in tractor is to obtain continuity in control of functioning with certain special tools which implements plow, i.e. should at least regulate the operation of the plow by 'position', by 'virtue' and of the 'mixed' (at a given 'force' and 'position' given at the same time). Due to tractor working conditions that sometimes could be unpredictable, it is important to analyze the performance of new or improved hydraulic system in real conditions of use. Industry of Engine Manufacture (IMR) had reconstructed some tractor's hydraulic control valve lifter installation and sent them to the exploitation trial. This paper presents an analysis of the reconstructed elements in order of tractor service in hydraulic lift due to real service conditions. .

11. Identification of steering wheels rotation angles in agricultural tractors

Abstract

This paper presents methodology applied for testing and calculation of steering wheels rotation angles in IMR tractors. Importance of this methodology is in defining minimal rotation angles of steering wheels under which agricultural tractor hold basic working functions when new assembly is mounted or, in our case, with installed new drive axle. By installing new drive axle on tractors R-76 DV and R-65 DV it has been noticed that tractor construction is slightly changed within assembly of newly developed chassis. From this reason certain test was needed to define relining procedures, due to introducing newly product in production process. This paper presents some results of the testing applied. .

Abstract

Na osnovu međunarodnih standarda, potreba korisnika i zahteva proizvođača realizovan je tunel za razređenje izduvnih gasova. Pri konstruisanju tunela uzet je u obzir niz ograničenja definisanih u standardima o kontroli emisije i izboru venturija. Potrebni podaci pri definisanju osnovnog koncepta tunela dobijeni su iz brojnih ispitivanja emisije obavljenih u Institutu IMR. U radu je takođe prikazan i kraći postupak proračuna dimenzija venturija kritičnog strujanja. Posebna pažnja je posvećena merenju emisije čestica koristeći metodu razređenja izduvnog gasa, što ne dozvoljava korišćenje jednostavnih termodinamičkih i strujnih parametara. Usvojen je metod određivanja emisije čestica za dva krajnja slučaja koja se mogu pojaviti tokom ispitivanja.
