Bu çalışmada uzaktan algılama ve coğrafi bilgi sistemlerinin arkeoloji bilimine sağladığı katkılar gözlemlenmeye ve bu katkıları kullanarak sağladığı faydalar bir sistem haline getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma Yunanistan'ın Sparta şehrindeki Amyklaion antik bölgesinde gerçekleştirildi. Çalışmanın amacı bölgede jeodezik teknikleri kullanarak belgeleme sonuçlarını sunmaktır. Bölgede yapılan çalışmalarda elde edilen lazer tarama verileri kullanılarak 3D modeller oluşturuldu ve bölge harita/plan çizimleri kullanılarak arkeolojik alandaki buluntular hakkında bilgiler edinilebilecek bir coğrafi bilgi sistemi oluşturulmaya çalışıldı. In this study, the contribution of remote sensing and geographic information sys-tems to archeology science has been tried to be observed and the benefits that it provi-des by using these contributions have been tried to be a system. The study was carried out in the ancient district of Amyklaion in the Sparta region of Greece. The aim of the study is to present the results of documentation using geodetic techniques in the region. Using the laser scanning data obtained in the studies in the region, 3D models were created and a geographic information system was tried to be obtained by using the site maps in the region to obtain information about the findings in the archaeological area. 69
