Three types of ichnites from a new site discovered in Imilchil were studied and described. The structures of pes and manus prints and tail traces of tetrapods provide data to separate: real ichnites (theropod footprints and crocodile tail drag marks); and sauropod’ subtraces. Most of the theropod footprints are deformed by collapse of their walls, the sauropod subtraces show the strong deformation of about ten well-stratified sedimentary levels. The surface on which we can see theropod and crocodile ichnites is the tracking surface, i. e. the original surface on which they were printed, Se estudian tres tipos de icnitas de un nuevo yacimiento descubierto en Imilchil. Las estructuras de las huellas de pies, manos y cola de tetrápodos proporcionan datos para separar: icnitas reales (pisadas terópodas y marcas de arrastre de cola de cocodrilos) y calcos saurópodos? La mayor parte de las huellas terópodas están deformadas por colapso de sus paredes, y las subhuellas saurópodas muestran la fuerte deformación de unos diez niveles sedimentarios bien estratificados. A new small site, not always outcropping, with large and giant theropod tracks in the Upper Jurassic of the Central High Atlas of Morocco is described. In the syncline of Iouaridène there are extensive dinosaur tracksites containing long trackways. These trackways show the variability of the sequences of footprints and their inferences regarding the identification of trackmakers, the variability of ichnites printed by the same trackmaker and the sequences of long-short paces in relation to the possible lameness, laterality or the sinuosity of the direction along the path. This paper confirms the enorrmous variability of forms and the possibility that there are also other causes that determine the sequences of longshort steps within the same trackway En el sinclinal de Iouaridène hay yacimientos extensos que contienen rastrilladas largas. Estas rastrilladas muestran la variabilidad de las secuencias de pisadas con sus consecuencias relativas a la identificación de los icnopoyetas, a la amplitud de formas impresas por el mismo autor y a las secuencias de paso largo-corto en relación con la posible cojera o lateralidad o con las variaciones de rumbo a lo largo de la trayectoria. En conjunto hay tres rastrilladas titanosauriformes de ancho de via variable y otra de un dinosaurio desconocido que atribuimos a un ornitisquio cuadrúpedo no ornitópodo. Las huellas no son comparables con los icnogéneros descritos hasta ahora. La huella del pie es incompleta. Suponemos que es un crocodiliforme continental porque el ambiente sedimentario en el que están las icnitas es fluvial. En este artículo se estudia un nuevo yacimiento icnológico (34IGR) del sinclinal de Iouaridène, citado previamente por otros autores, pero no descrito. Las icnitas se caracterizan por su irregularidad, heterogeneidad y variación de tamaño. Los caracteres biomórficos y morfométricos tan variables son la respuesta, mostrada en el conjunto del sinclinal, a la diversidad biológica, morfológica y de estructuras inducidas por las propiedades físicas del barro. Este afloramiento es también la expresión de la variación de la cuenca, porque en este sector solo hay una capa con icnitas, frente a los yacimientos del oeste en los que hay superpuestas un número aún no determinado de capas fosilíferas, In this article is studied a new ichnological site (34IGR) of the Synclinal of Iouaridène already mentioned by the authors though still not described. The footprints are characterized by the ichnological heterogeneity and irregularity of his forms and dimensions. Both biomorphic and morphometricv characters answer to the variability showed in the ensemble of sinclinal sites relative to the biological diversity and to the morphology and structural response induced on the footprints by the physical characteristics of the mud. This site is also an expression of the evolution of the basin since he is in a sector that alone has one ichnological bed, against the deposits of the western part in which has been detected the overlapping of a number, still not assessed, of beds and levels with footprints

Se describe por primera vez un yacimiento con huellas de dinosaurio (Oumzawrou o 36IGR), que era conocido desde hace cuarenta años.Es el segundo en cuanto al número de huellas del conjunto de 43 yacimientos del sinclinal de Iouaridène (IGR) . En 36IGR concurren varias particularidades en relación con los demás de IGR que lo hacen destacable: a) las icnitas están en un solo nivel al contrario de lo que ocurre en el resto de yacimientos estudiados del sinclinal; b) el número de icnitas y rastrilladas semiplantígradas es relativamente muy grande; c) no hay rastrilladas con dirección E-O. La concentración y la cantidad de de huellas semiplantígradas es un hecho excepcional tanto en IGR como entre los yacimientos similares conocidos del resto del mundo. During the 2009's summer courses (universities Rabat-La Rioja) 6 new paleoichnological sites are found in the Bou Guemez river. The previously know Ibaqalliwn-Talsnant sites are located in the close west. All new, and Ibaqualliwn-Talsnant fossil traces, are print over the upper levels of marine limestones from Arganane Formation (Domerian). The likewise Domerian lowermost part continental sediments of the superposed Azilal Formation is placed to 5 m above the ichnites. The Utological composition, invertebrate fossil content, and number ofichnological levels is similar in the AssifAit-n-Bou Cuemez-Assif-n-Rbat zone. In spite ofthe Quaternary aluvial sediments cover, the geological properties are enough to define exactly the same stratigraphic position of the sites. The Arganane Formation dissapear to east part and the new sites are the east end ofthe Bou Guemez dinosaur footprints outcrops. It is important show the sauropod supremacy in the Bou Guemez zone

In 2007, the dinosaur footprints research group of the Universities of Rabat and La Rioja began the mapping of the Iouaridène ichnological sites. The initial problems were the footprints number - several thousands for some scientits- the ichnotaxonomy, and their geographical and geological distribution. Our first results (west Iouaridène area) were published in 2008. In addition to two ichnotaxons defined here, we have studied: gigantic theropod and ornithopod footprints; semipantigrade theropod ichnites and the largest world theropod trackway are new contributions to Iouaridène dinosaur footprints knowledge. In this work, are demostrated the following questions: i) the maximun number of footprints in the Iouaridène sincline is less than 2000; ii) in the east area there is minor density of sites and the number of footprints that in the west part; iii) the greatest number of semiplantigrade theropod ichnites; iv) the fosiliferous levels reduction from 20 to one. Probably, the four properties geographically related - stratigraphic, number, density (sites and footprints) and the diversity of semiplantigrade ichnites - are other singenetic relations

Los depósitos del Toarciense del Atlas Medio, generalmente de tipo hemipelágico, presentan características de plataforma y de cuenca. Son depósitos margosos, confinados en los depocentros, y depósitos condensados calcáreo-margosos, en los altos de la cuenca. Los estudios micropaleontológicos de foraminíferos bentónicos nos permiten seguir la extensión bioestratigráfica de las diferentes especies encontradas. Se han establecido las siguientes cuatro biozonas: biozona con Lingulina. gr. tenera y Marginulina gr. prima; biozona con Lenticulina obonensis mg Planularia; biozona con Lenticulina pennensis mg Marginulinopsis, Ichtyolaria hauffi, Dentalina utriculata, Citharina longuemari var. angusta-gradata y espectro de Lenticulina chicheryi; y biozona con Lenticulina d’orbignyi mg Lenticulina, Astacolus y Planularia, Nodosaria pulchra y Lenticulina ferruginea mg Falsopalmula

The first found tracks of dinosaur in the North of the Goulmima-Tinerhir line (Inner Haut Atlas Central, Morocco) are described. They are located in the Arhbalou Formation and come from isolated and grouped prints mainly of theropod dinosaur. They have importance by the enlargement of the geographical area with dinosaur paleoichnological sites and by they constitute the first dated Carixian dinosaur footprints founds in Morocco.

There are not known too much dinosaur trackways with the metatarsus imprints. The existent dates mention abouth 30 trackways. This is the first time, one or this kind of trackway is described in Morocco. The shape of this footprints are conditioned on the mud behaviour and probably on the trackmaker speed

This work deals with the study of the Jurassic benthic Foraminifera of the «Rides sud-rifaines». The middle Atlas has been used as for comparison. The first part sets the geologic context, on the base of the detailed work of Faugères (1972 -1982). The second part consists of the lithostratigraphic analysis of the sections. The biostratigraphic datum lives were given by Ammonits and sometimes by brachiopods. The samples were analyzed both micropaleontologically and sedimentologically. They consist of thin sections of internal platform-carbonated deposits (Sinemurian-Early Domerian), where the imperforated Lituolidae with agglutinated wall and complex internal structure are abundant, as well as external-platform/basin marly residuals (Domerian-Middle Bajocian) where Nodasariidae and Ceratobuliminidae dominate. The microfaunal successions and their relative frequences are placed into their respective environment. The interaction between some taxa and their relations with the environment are emphasized. The third part deals with the geodynamic evolution of the south-Rif ; the local (tectonics, subsidence/infilling) and general (eustatism) factors are retraced. The main deposional environments and the microfaunal associations that developed within then are defined. The fourth part is concerned with the micropaleontological study (sensu stricto). The different groups are treated separately. The systematic descriptions of the main species are based on the identification criteria and on their intraspecific variability. The taxonomic difficulties concerning some taxa are discussed. The phylogenetic relations between some species are drawn. Most of the south-fifean Foraminifera are common to the south western european basins. Some forms neathy distinguishable are let in open nomenclature. The vertical extension of the encountered species is precised within an accurate biostratigraphic context provided by Ammonites. A local biozonation is proposed. Finaly, the global spatial distribution of the bcnthic Foraminifera of the Lias-Dogger is outlined. A detailed provincialism is still difficult to establish because of the lack of date in other areas excepting western Europe and Northwestern Africa, and of the great ubiquity of many species., Le présent travail est consacré à l'étude des foraminifères benthiques du Jurassique des Rides sud-rifaines. Le Moyen-Atlas a servi de point de comparaison. La première partie dresse le contexte géologique de la région d'étude. Les travaux de J.C. Faugères (1972 -1982) ont servi de base et constituent un cadre assez bien détaillé. La deuxième partie consiste en l'analyse lithostratigraphique des coupes levées. Les repères biostratigraphiques sont fournis par les ammonites et parfois par les brachiopodes. Les échantillons sont analysés des points de vue micropaléontologique et sédimentologique. Ils comportent aussi bien des lames minces de dépôts carbonatés de plate-forme interne (Sinémurien-Domérien inférieur) où abondent les Lituolidés imperforés à paroi agglutinée et structure interne complexe, que des résidus marneux de plate-forme externe-bassin (Domérien-Bajocien moyen) où prédominent des Nodosariidés et des Cératobuliminidés. Les successions microfauniques et leurs fréquences relatives sont placées dans leurs milieux de vie respectifs. La troisième partie aborde l'évolution géodynamique de la région sud-rifaine, les facteurs responsables locaux (tectonique, subsidence-comblement) et généraux (eustatisme) sont retracés. Les principaux milieux de dépôts et les associations microfauniques qui s'y sont développées sont définis. La quatrième partie concerne l'étude micropaléontologique au sens strict. Les divers groupes sont traités séparément. Les descriptions systématiques des principales espèces sont axées sur les critères d'identification et leur variabilité intraspécifique. Les difficultés taxonomiques concernant certains taxons sont discutées. Les relations phylogénétiques entre certaines espèces sont dégagées. La majorité des foraminifères sud-rifains est commune aux bassins sud-ouest européens, quelques formes se distinguant nettement sont laissées en nomenclature ouverte. L'extension verticale des espèces rencontrées est précisée dans un cadre biostratigraphique rigoureux fourni par les ammonites. Une biozonation locale est proposée. Enfin, dans un cadre paléogéographique, la répartition spatiale des foraminifères benthiques du Lias-Dogger est esquissée. Elle est étroitement liée aux conditions de milieux (bathymétrie, physiographie, faciès, oxygénation, nourriture...). L'évolution de leurs fréquences relatives traduit des écoséquences en accord avec l'évolution séquentielle lithologique, dont les fluctuations sont sous la dépendance de phénomènes aussi bien locaux (tectono-sédimentaires) que globaux (eustatiques)., Boutakiout Mohamed.
