Zbog očuvanja kulturne baštine, a posebno povijesnih tiskovina, javlja se potreba za njihovom digitalizacijom. Kako postoje mediji, a tu se u prvom redu misli na tiskane primjerke, kod kojih je digitalizacija izrazito otežana, ili u nekim slučajevima nemoguća zbog njihove krhke građe, dolazi do potrebe za odmakom od standradnog pristupa digitalizaciji pomoću skenera. Kao logično riješenje se nameće digitalizacija pomoću fotografskih aparata, jer je njihovom upotrebom mogućnost oštećenja prilikom digitalizacije svedena na minimum. U radu se uspoređuju rezultati dobiveni digitalizacijom pomoću skenera i fotografskog aparata leica formata kako bi se ispitali prednos

Izlaskom OpenType 1.8 specifikacije potkraj 2016. godine predstavljena je potpuno nova tehnologija oblikovanja digitalnih tipografskih pisama i upotrebe istih. Premda još ne postoji široka podrška popularnih aplikacija u prikazu teksta postavljenog u takozvanim varijabilnim fontovima, a još manja u aplikacijama za izradu pisama koje omogućavaju iskorištavanje svih opcija OpenType 1.8 specifikacije ; već se jasno vidi kako primjena varijabilnih fontova u praksi neće ostati ograničena na sažimanje cijelih porodica pisama u jednu datoteku ili na jednostavno proširenje palete širine slovnih znakova ili debljine poteza određenoga pisma. U ovom radu istražiti će se mogućnosti pametnih programskih manipulacija prikaza varijabilnih fontova i opisati na koje sve, već sada razvidne, načine oni mogu doprinijeti proširenju mogućnosti pristupačnosti, responzivnosti i interaktivnosti web stranica oslanjajući se na CSS i skriptna sučelja koja su neki web preglednici već implementirali u svoja komercijalna izdanja.

Od biometrijskog portreta se kroz strogo definiranje odnosa dimenzija, zahtijeva očuvanje realnih informacija o svim tehničkim karakteristikama fotografije, pa tako i o bojama, kako bi se sve bimetrijske vrijednosti mogle digitalizirati i koristiti u prepoznavanju. Uočeno je da i jako male promjene vrijednosti R, G i B kanala (crveni, zeleni i plavi kanal) na cijelokupnoj fotografiji, uveliko utječu na percepciju same fotografije. U radu se želi ispitati kako utječe promjena boje pozadine portreta u R, G i B boju (crvenu, zelenu i plavu boju), odnosno koliki je odmak u vrijednostima kada se uspoređuje srednja vrijednost dE cijelokupnog originalnog biometrijskog portreta sa srednjim vrijednostima dE nakon promijene boje pozadine.

Crno-bijela fotogarafija svoju sintaksu, tehnički gledano, ostvaruje transformacijom boja snimane scene u različite tonove sive (od crne do bijele). Pri tome, snimanjem scene se različite boje mogu transformirati u istu akromatsku, tj. u isti ton sive. Iako se u tom slučaju, na prvri pogled, čini da se radi o tipičnom motivu kolor fotografskog sustava, i ovakvi se motivi, tj. ovakve scene, snimaju i u crno-bijelim fotografskim sustavima. U vrijeme dominacije crno- bijelog negativ-pozitiv sustava, razvijen je cijeli niz obojenih filtera koji se koriste pri snimanju spomenutih motiva u crno- bijelom sustavu, a koji osiguravaju prikaz različitih šarenih boja različitim tonovima sive, ali utječu i na ostale tehničke, sintaktičke i semantičke karakteristike fotografije. Pojavom digitalne fotografije, razvijaju se mogućnosti simulacije primjene tih filtera, kako u fazi snimanja, tako i u fazi obrade digitalnog zapisa fotografije. U radu se ispituje koliko pojedini načini simulacije primjene obojenih filtera za crno- bijelu fotografiju odgovaraju efektima primjene samih filtera.

QR kodovi spadaju u skupinu dvodimenzionalnih kodova, mogu pohraniti veliki broj informacija na malom prostoru, a jednostavni su za korištenje. Zbog toga su idealni za upotrebu u postupcima održavanja. Cilj rada je ustanoviti na koji način se ponaša QR kod prilikom zaprljanja i kako ono na njega utječe, bilo veličinom ili pozicijom.

In the last century, a new industry branch was created with the development of electronics and computing, digital gaming, which quickly found fans all over the world. The production of storage media for digital games, as well as game consoles, has a great effect on the pollution of the envi- ronment. The development of storing media for digital games has enabled the possibility of storing more graphically and computationally complex games, which affected the increase in necessary energy resources for playing digital games. In recent times, computer games do not require storage on physical media, they can be downloaded from online stores. This contributes to the dematerialization of computer games and the saving of resources, but also the increased consumption of electricity when saving or downloading games. In this research, the environmental impact of game consoles will be discussed through the phases of the product life cycle. Survey research and discussion of the obtained results will give an insight into the habits of players of digital games on consoles. The player's habits greatly affect the carbon footprint, which is in this research mainly related to the consumption of non- renewable sources of electricity. The type, brand, and additional functions of game consoles have an important influence on the amount of carbon footprint.

With the growing demand and consumption of packaging materials, the problem of its disposal is growing. For this reason, very often happens that various packaging, as well as various other waste streams, can be found in the environment. However, different materials require a different period of time to decompose in the environment. During decomposition, some materials release harmful and sometimes toxic substances that should not be left in the environment due to their harmful effect on all living beings. For these reasons, new ways to replace existing packaging with less harmful to the environment and even more useful ones are being researched today. Lately, various types of packaging on the market can be found, which means that people are being aware and realizing the impact on the environment. Therefore, some harmful packaging materials are beeing replaced by other environmentally friendlier materials to reduce the negative impact on the environment. One of the newer types of packaging is biodegradable packaging that can be planted. In some examples of this type of packaging, flower seeds are pressed. The goal of the paper was to create recycled paper with plant seeds. The influence of temperature on the growth of seeds will be investigated and a method of assembling a box made of such paper will be proposed in order to avoid the use of glue.

To achieve the goals of sustainable development, it is necessary to accomplish a balance between technical, economic, scientific, and social development. Ecological sustainability is recognized as a management philosophy, with the aim to maximize the production process and create more value with as small as possible impact on the environment. Ecology efficiency can be achieved by using renewable raw materials and innovative technologies, rational consumption of inputs per unit of product (energy and water), reduction of toxic substance emissions and waste, and closure of the circular flow of production. To implement the mentioned into the production and business system, it is necessary to adopt new knowledge and skills. In this research, the offset prints were made from more environmentally friendly materials. The results show the colorimetric stability of offset prints, obtained by combinations of cardboard (recycled, virgin and FSC cellulose fibres and algae from the Adriatic Sea) and yellow inks (different proportions of renewable raw materials) under defined conditions of exposure to solar radiation through window glass. The research results are discussed in relation to exogenous and endogenous factors responsible for changes in the chromatic values of prints. Photochemical reactions are important because the molecular bonds in the inks weaken in contact with photons.
