High Energy Physics - Experiment - Abstract
The product of the electronic width of the $J/\psi$ meson and the branching fractions of its decay to hadrons and electrons has been measured using the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M $e^+e^-$ collider. The obtained values are: $\Gamma_{ee}(J/\psi) = 5.550 \pm 0.056 \pm 0.089 \, \text{keV}, $ $\Gamma_{ee}(J/\psi) \cdot \mathcal{B}_\text{hadrons}(J/\psi) = 4.884 \pm 0.048 \pm 0.078 \, \text{keV}, $ $\Gamma_{ee}(J/\psi) \cdot \mathcal{B}_{ee}(J/\psi) = 0.3331 \pm 0.0066 \pm 0.0040 \, \text{keV}.$ The uncertainties shown are statistical and systematic, respectively. Using the result presented and the world-average value of the electronic branching fraction, one obtains the total width of the $J/\psi$ meson: $\Gamma = 92.94 \pm 1.83 \, \text{keV}.$ These results are consistent with the previous experiments., Comment: 19 pages, 13 figures

High Energy Physics - Experiment - Abstract
The products of the electron width of the J/\psi meson and the branching fraction of its decays to the lepton pairs were measured using data from the KEDR experiment at the VEPP-4M electron-positron collider. The results are \Gamma_{ee}(J/\psi)*Br(J/\psi->e^+e^-)=(0.3323\pm0.0064\pm0.0048) keV, \Gamma_{ee}(J/\psi)*Br(J/\psi->\mu^+\mu^-)=(0.3318\pm0.0052\pm0.0063) keV. Their combinations \Gamma_{ee}\times(\Gamma_{ee}+\Gamma_{\mu\mu})/\Gamma=(0.6641\pm0.0082\pm0.0100) keV, \Gamma_{ee}/\Gamma_{\mu\mu}=1.002\pm0.021\pm0.013 can be used to improve theaccuracy of the leptonic and full widths and test leptonic universality. Assuming e\mu universality and using the world average value of the lepton branching fraction, we also determine the leptonic \Gamma_{ll}=5.59\pm0.12 keV and total \Gamma=94.1\pm2.7 keV widths of the J/\psi meson., Comment: 7 pages, 6 figures

High Energy Physics - Experiment - Abstract
The process e+ e- -> phi -> K+ K- has been studied with the CMD-2 detector using about 542 000 events detected in the center-of-mass energy range from 1.01 to 1.034 GeV. The systematic error of the cross section is estimated to be 2.2%. The phi(1020) meson parameters in the phi -> K+K- decay channel have been measured: sigma_0(phi-> K+K-) = 2016 +- 8 +- 44 nb, m(phi) = 1019.441 +- 0.008 +- 0.080 MeV/c2, Gamma(phi) = 4.24 +- 0.02 +- 0.03 MeV, B(e+e-)B(K+K-) = (14.27 +- 0.05 +- 0.31)*10(-5)., Comment: 12 pages, 6 figures, 2 tables, uses elsart.cls (second version - some figures are corrected)

The updated results of the precise measurements of the processes e+e-->rho->pi+pi-, e+e-->omega->pi+pi-pi0 and e+e-->phi->KLKS performed by the CMD-2 collaboration are presented. The update appeared necessary due an overestimate of the integrated luminosity in previous analyses., Comment: 8 pages, 1 figure

The products of the electron width of the J/meson and the branching fraction of its decays to the lepton pairs were measured using data from the KEDR experiment at the VEPP-4M electron-positron collider. The results are _{ee}(J/)*Br(J/->e^+e^-)=(0.3323\pm0.0064\pm0.0048) keV, _{ee}(J/)*Br(J/->^+^-)=(0.3318\pm0.0052\pm0.0063) keV. Their combinations _{ee}\times(_{ee}+_{})/=(0.6641\pm0.0082\pm0.0100) keV, _{ee}/_{}=1.002\pm0.021\pm0.013 can be used to improve theaccuracy of the leptonic and full widths and test leptonic universality. Assuming euniversality and using the world average value of the lepton branching fraction, we also determine the leptonic _{ll}=5.59\pm0.12 keV and total =94.1\pm2.7 keV widths of the J/meson., 7 pages, 6 figures

The process e+ e- -> phi -> K+ K- has been studied with the CMD-2 detector using about 542 000 events detected in the center-of-mass energy range from 1.01 to 1.034 GeV. The systematic error of the cross section is estimated to be 2.2%. The phi(1020) meson parameters in the phi -> K+K- decay channel have been measured: sigma_0(phi-> K+K-) = 2016 +- 8 +- 44 nb, m(phi) = 1019.441 +- 0.008 +- 0.080 MeV/c2, Gamma(phi) = 4.24 +- 0.02 +- 0.03 MeV, B(e+e-)B(K+K-) = (14.27 +- 0.05 +- 0.31)*10(-5)., 12 pages, 6 figures, 2 tables, uses elsart.cls (second version - some figures are corrected)

Particle Physics - Experiment - Abstract
About 11 200 $ e^+e^- \to \omega \to \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0$ events selected in the center of mass energy range from 760 to 810 MeV were used for the measurement of the $\omega$ meson parameters. The following results have been obtained: $\sigma _{0}=(1457 \pm 23 \pm 19 )$ nb, $m_{\omega }=(782.71 \pm 0.07 \pm 0.04)$ MeV/c$^{2}$, $\Gamma _{\omega }=(8.68 \pm 0.23 \pm 0.10 )$ MeV, $\Gamma _{e^+e^-}\cdot$Br$(ømega \to \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0)= (0.528 \pm 0.012 \pm 0.007) \cdot 10^{-3}$ MeV.

The Cryogenic Magnetic Detector (CMD-2) and main it's parameters are shortly described. The results for the cross sections of e[sup +]e[sup -] annihilation into hadrons are presented in the c.m. energy range from 0.37 to 1.39 GeV. The total integrated luminosity of about 31 pb[-1] has been collected. The new results for the p and co meson parameters were obtained. The pion form factor was determinated with a 0.6% systematic uncertainty. The major decay modes of the φ meson as well as multihadron final states have been studied in a broad energy range. The product of the electronic width of the J/ψ meson and the branching fractions of its decay to hadrons and electrons has been measured using the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M e
+ e− collider. The obtained values are ΓeeJ/ψ=5.550±0.056±0.089keV,ΓeeJ/ψ·ℬhadronsJ/ψ=4.884±0.048±0.078keV,ΓeeJ/ψ·ℬeeJ/ψ=0.3331±0.0066±0.0040keV.The uncertainties shown are statistical and systematic, respectively. Using the result presented and the world-average value of the electronic branching fraction, one obtains the total width of the J/ψ meson: Γ=92.94±1.83keV.
These results are consistent with the previous experiments. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A new high precision measurement of the J/Ψ- and Psi′-meson masses has been performed at the VEPP-4M collider using the KEDR detector. The resonant depolarization method has been employed for the absolute calibration of the beam energy. The following mass values have been obtained. M
J/Ψ = 3096.917 ± 0.010 ± 0.007 MeV, MΨ′ = 3686.111 ± 0.025 ± 0.009 MeV. The relative measurement accuracy has reached 4.10-6 for J/Ψ and 7.10-6 for Ψ′, approximately 3 times than in the previous precise experiments. The description of the experiment and the error analysis can be found in hep-ex/0306050, Phys. Lett. B573 (2003) 63-79. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published

- Abstract
Understanding the recovery process of functional abilities post-COVID-19 in older inpatients with arterial hypertension and ischemic heart disease is important for optimising healthcare delivery and resources. Participants in this study were individuals undergoing hospital-based rehabilitation following COVID-19 (average age 66, n=183). They were categorised into groups with arterial hypertension (n=92), ischemic heart disease (n=18), both conditions (n=38), and a control group without these diseases (n=35). Functional abilities were assessed via the distance walked until signs of exhaustion (meters), handgrip strength (kilograms), and breath-holding time (seconds). Multiple regression analysis revealed that inpatients with arterial hypertension walked shorter distances (β=-19,183; p=0,050) but showed higher handgrip strength (β=3,735; p=0,025) compared to the control group. Post-rehabilitation, inpatients with hypertension demonstrated greater performance (β=40,435, p=0,024) and better improvement rates (β=47,337; p=0,016) in walked distance than those in the control group. Significant interaction effects between groups and pre-/post-rehabilitation changes were observed only for walking distance (β=34,74; p=0,02), with no significant interactions found for other measures. The findings indicate that older inpatients with arterial hypertension may experience comparable or enhanced recovery of functional abilities post-COVID-19. The presence of ischemic heart disease, alone or combined with hypertension, does not significantly impair rehabilitation outcomes compared to those without such conditions.

- Abstract
Changes in respiratory and physical performance in geriatric inpatients recovering from COVID-19 are of interest for rehabilitation interventions. 56 inpatients (67% women), average age 64±11 years recovering from COVID-19 underwent a comprehensive rehabilitation program (16,9±3,8 days). After the rehabilitation program, the patients showed an improvement in respiratory function: voluntary breath-holding after inhalation - by 19% (p=0,006), breath-holding after exhalation - by 25% (p=0,026), lungs computed tomography (p<0,001); physical performance: handgrip strength - by 14% (p=0,083), preferred walking speed - by 80% (p=0,025); exercise tolerance: distance walked until the first signs of fatigue - by 227% (p<0,001), resting heart rate - by 1% (p=0,011). The interaction of rehabilitation time and patient sex was statically nonsignificant across all variables of interest. The rates of changes in respiratory function and physical performance were significant and exceeded similar changes recorded in healthy old people who begin an exercise program. However, in absolute values, respiratory function and physical performance values after the rehabilitation were lower than reference values for this age group. These results can be valuable for clinicians when designing a rehabilitation program for geriatric patients recovering from COVID-19.
