This research aims to analyze and understand more about servant leadership and competency of employee service performance in the Government of Batu Bara Regency. The research location was conducted in the Government of Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra Province. The population in this study was civil servants, and the number of samples in this study using the slovin formula was 140 people. Research results found from the respondents' responses, it can be found that servant leadership is formed by action, empathy, wisdom, finding solutions, growing, having a social spirit, having a vision, and serving. Competence is formed by motives, traits self-concept, knowledge, and skills. Motivation is formed by work performance, influence, control, dependence, development, and affiliation. Organizational commitment is formed by a belief in the organization, acceptance of organizational values and goals, involvement in the organization, desire to remain in the organization and totality in work. Physical capabilities shape service performance, reliability, responsiveness, ability to understand customers, courtesy, credibility, security, access, and communication.

This study aims to analyze the impact of green organizational culture on employee performance, analyze the impact of green competence on employee performance, and analyze the impact of organizational engagement on employee performance in green hotels in YogyakartaThe survey method used in this research included 540 people, including all employees of five-star hotels in Central Java and Yogyakarta that implementthe concept of green environmental protection. The sampling technique used the Slovenian formula, resulting in data from 110 study samples. Then analyze the collected data. The analysis technique used structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis.The results show that green organizational culture has a significant impact on employee performance, and that green competence also has a significant impact on employee performance, and then the importance of organizational engagement on employee performance

The purpose of this research is to strengthen the function of organizational commitment as a mediator in the process of improving transformational leadership abilities in order to improve the performance of employees working in hotels. There is a positive correlation between all of the variables; in addition to this, transformational leadership has an effect on both employee performance and organizational commitment. Another very significant aspect is the role that organizational commitment plays as a mediator in the connection between transformational leadership and employee performance. This is an extremely crucial aspect. The use of variable organizational commitment as a mediator of the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance in the research that was carried out in the scope of research at a star hotel in Central Java is a novel approach that contributes to the advancement of the field. The findings of this research have a number of further theoretical ramifications for transformational leadership. In the history of the hospitality industry in Central Java, Indonesia, this particular study has never been carried out. The participants in the study were all staff working in hotels rated as four stars that were located in Central Java, Indonesia. 185 people participated in the study and were included in the sample for analysis. In order to do the analysis, the Amos SEM program was used.

The purpose of the study was to describe the effectiveness of communication and service behaviour at Army Hospital (AH) East Java. The population in this study were 500 employees of AH East Java. Samples were taken using a random sampling technique. Based on the results of Slovin's calculation, the sample size is 183 people. The analysis technique in this study uses a description of the SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of communication can create service behaviour for AH East Java employees, meaning the ability of employees to communicate effectively, Openness, supportive attitude, positive attitude, and Empathy. Effectiveness Communication is a two-way interaction that is supportive, positive, open and empathetic by individual goals. In Effectiveness of Communication to improve service behaviour and employee performance includes Openness, Supportiveness, and Positivity. Communication Effectiveness is a construct built from observation indicators: Openness, Supportiveness, and Positivity. First, Openness to the Army Hospital in East Java employees is carried out through transparent and respectful communication between employees working at the Army Hospital in East Java. The high average value indicates this, and the average Openness has a higher average value. Service behaviour is a commendable attitude for someone in control of serving something that is the desire of others.

The current study analyzed the effect of job training and innovation on the work productivity of batik artisans at the MSME Batik Seng, Sengguruh Village, Malang Regency using job training and innovation as two independent variables and work productivity as the dependent one. The batik artisans at the MSME Batik Seng were asked to fill out a survey and the data obtained from them were analyzed through regression. First, the validity and reliability of the questions for each variable were tested. Then, the regression of job training and innovation on artisans’ productivity at the MSME Batik Seng was done. The results showed that the variables of job training and innovation had a significantly positive effect on the work productivity of the batik artisans. Hence, the batik SME owners are expected to provide opportunities for the artisans to improve their skills through training and rewards to good batik artisans in the form of wage bonuses and other compensation. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of knowledge sharing on teacher job satisfaction, to determine the effect of knowledge sharing on teacher performance, to determine the effect of teacher job satisfaction on teacher performance, to determine the effect of knowledge sharing on teacher performance mediated by teacher job satisfaction. The population in this study were 1156 teachers with the research sample involving 200 teachers. The research method used in this research is explanatory research, while the data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 23 and SPSS 21 software. The results show that (1) knowledge sharing has an effect on teacher job satisfaction. 2) knowledge sharing affects teacher performance, (3) job satisfaction affects teacher performance

This study aims to examine the effect of perceived ease of use on user’s intention to use mediated by perceived usefulness in the use of e-learning in university. This research is essential because it is important to know the user's desire to use e- learning with the Moodle application in universities, considering that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Indonesian government determined to apply online learning. There were 200 e-learning users from STIE Kesuma Negara Blitar selected as samples. The data were collected by using questionnaire and were then analyzed by multiple regression analysis and path analysis

In achieving long-term goals and specific targets researchers will develop a model ESRM (entrepreneurial Skill Reinforcement Model) in order to create a strong competitive edge in the face of the complex economic conditions. The existence of limited information regarding training and education that strengthens entrepreneurial skills can affect the quality of an entrepreneur. This study aims to cluster and need analyze the interests of students in entrepreneurship at the University of Merdeka Malang. The method that will be used in this research is using the clustering method, where at this stage the student's entrepreneurial interest will be clustered, then a need assessment is carried out and then the model design is carried out according to the student's needs. In the next stage, a model for strengthening entrepreneurial skills was designed and then improved with focus group discussions and expert tests so that the model became feasible and suitable to be applied. Then it will be tested in a trial class to test the effectiveness of the model. The results of the model's feasibility analysis show that there is a strong agreement between experts and practitioners on the feasibility of the developed model. In addition, based on the effectiveness test, the research product in the form of ESRM is categorized as effective for increasing entrepreneurial skills instudents.

This study focuses on employee performance and its contributing factors, namely transformational leadership style and sustainable training. This study aims to examine and analyze the effects of transformational leadership style on the employee performance of PT. Sasa Inti Gending – Probolinggo Regency through the implementation of sustainable training. The population in this study consisted of all staff members and employees at PT. Sasa Inti Gending, with a total of 770 people. This population is homogeneous, with various educational backgrounds, positions, durations of employment, and divisions. Based on the sample size calculation using the Slovin formula, the respondents in this study were 89 people. The data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The hypotheses were tested based on the regression coefficients' results and the significance values of the three substructure models developed. These three models were merged into a full model of path coefficients. The results of this study have proven that the transformational leadership style has a significant direct effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, sustainable training can indirectly affect the role of transformational leadership style on employee performance.

This study aims to describe and explain and analyze the influence of consumer beliefs, attitudes, and perception variables on behavioral intention and the decision of Doctoral Program students to choose private universities in East Java. The contribution of the research is as a study material for Doctoral Program managers to understand the reasons students choose Private Universities, especially in East Java. The sample of this study amounted to 180 respondents. The data analysis method used descriptive statistics and Structural Equation Modeling Partial - Smart Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results of the study show that consumer beliefs and attitudes have a significant effect on behavioral intention, while perception has no significant effect on behavioral intention. Other results show that consumer attitudes and perceptions have a significant effect on the decision to choose, while consumer trust has no significant effect on the decision to choose. Behavioral intention can mediate the influence of consumer beliefs and attitudes towards the decision to choose. On the other hand, behavioral intention cannot mediate the effect of perception on the decision to choose. Finally, behavioral intention has a significant effect on the decision to choose.

This study has at least five aims. Such as describing the organizational environment, work motivation of teachers' performance, and work discipline. Also, analyzing the effect of organizational environment and work motivation on work discipline. Third, examining the effect of organizational environment and work motivation on teacher performance. Fourth, discovering the effect of work discipline on teacher performance, and analyzing the influence of the organizational environment. Fifth, examining the work motivation of teacher performance through work discipline in Malang City. The population in this study were teachers in Malang City, which amounted to 87 teachers. The object sample of the research is 87 teachers by using a census. The data analysis technique used path analysis. The results of the analysis show that the organizational environment and work motivation have an effect on work discipline. The organizational environment and work motivation affect teacher performance. Employee work discipline has an effect on teacher performance. The organizational environment and work motivation affect teacher performance through work discipline.

This study aims to analyze the effect of participatory leadership and empowerment on performance through job satisfaction in village officersin the region ofLekok District, Pasuruan Regency. The sample in this study was village officerstotaling 144 people from a population of 226 people. The data collection equipment used in this study was a questionnaire. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The collected data were analyzed using path analysis test to determine the effectof all the variables involved. The results showed that: 1) Participatory leadership and empowerment had a positive and significant impact on the performance of village officers; 2) Participatory leadership and empowerment have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction of village officers; 3) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on the performance of village officers; 4) Participatory leadership, empowerment and job satisfaction have a positive and significant impact on the performance of village officers.

Effectiveness in managing an organization is one of the important things that management wants to achieve, especially in connection with a dramatic or sudden organizational change that does not involve all components in the organization, in this case operational employees who will eventually be the backbone of the success or failure of organizational change. The attitude of employee engagement and job satisfaction of employees is expected to have a major influence on organizational effectiveness. The research objective is to analyze the effect of Employee Engagement, Job Satisfaction and organizational change on Organizational Effectiveness. The research was conducted at the Technical Implementation Unit of the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) in the Department of Agriculture and Food Security, East Java Province, with the number of respondents as many as 111 people. Based on the Path analysis, the research results show that the existence of Employee Engagement and Job Satisfaction of employees is very influential on Organizational Effectiveness, then job satisfaction also supports organizational change, so that employee job satisfaction and organizational change will have a greater effect than if there is no organizational change. Batik is one of the original types of Indonesian culture, even UNESCO has determined Batik as one of the world's cultural heritages. In its development came a variety of batik motifs including the ways or processes used in producing batik. Indonesia recognizes batik as a form of art work done by humans by giving certain patterns to plain cloth by waxing wax to block color, which is what is known as batik cloth. The making of written batik requires special expertise because the process must be carried out through certain stages. The quality of the finished batik cloth is very dependent on the skills of batik craftsmen to go through each stage of the batik process. Sengguruh Village, Malang Regency has a Batik Written UKM which has quite potential to develop its business. But the lack of the number of crafters possessed is an obstacle in producing written batik. Another obstacle experienced is the lack of understanding of written batik craftsmen to each stage of the process that must be passed. The results of the written batik SOP training provide new knowledge and provide deeper understanding to the batik crafters, so that when the batik process is passed well it will produce batik cloth which is also better in quality.

This study has the aims to analyze the effect of motivation, individual characteristics and working environment on the job satisfaction of PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution East Java - Malang Area. The population in this study is all employees of PT. PLN Malang Area consisting of 65 employees; samples were taken from the total population of 65 employees using a census. Data testing techniques using validity test, reliability test, data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of testing, the validity and reliability of all variables such as working motivation, individual characteristics, working environment and job satisfaction, by calculating the correlation coefficient, all items are valid and reliable. Motivation has an effect on working satisfaction, individual characteristics have an effect on working satisfaction and working environment has an effect on working satisfaction. This study found that motivation, individual characteristics and working environment were able to improve the working satisfaction of PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution East Java-Malang Area.

The research aims to analyze and explain the effect of motivation and situational leadership style on performance through job satisfaction in Developer companies in East Java. The research design used is associative research which aims to find out the relationship between two variables or more, with a function to explain, a symptom in the study using a quantitative correlation approach with the explanatory survey method. The population in this study were all employees and leaders in the development companies in East Java Province - Indonesia, the sampling technique was done by proportional random sampling. The data analysis technique uses a Structural Equation Model better known as SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) so that testing can be done to determine the value between exogenous and endogenous variables. The results showed that Situational motivation and leadership style had an effect on performance through job satisfaction, which meant that the better job satisfaction in the company provided more optimal performance, supported by the right motivation and good situational leadership to generate job satisfaction.

To encourage the development of a business, a. During the Covid-19 pandemic that is currently being experienced by the Indonesian nation, more strategies and efforts are needed for business actors, especially UMKM s, to maintain their business. Therefore, business continuity can run, community economic empowerment and assistance are needed to stimulate small entrepreneurs to develop their businesses sustainably. One of the economic empowerment activities is the handmade batik UKM development program implemented by the PPMUPT team at Merdeka University Malang in Sengguruh Village, Malang Regency. The target partners are UKM Batik Zheng, which functions as a production unit and as a training center to improve community skills. Entering the second year, the target of the activities being carried out is to start a batik training center. At the end of the activity, the goal of empowerment was realized, namely the survival of the production circulation of Zheng Batik UKM s during the Covid-19 pandemic that was hitting so that craftsmen could still earn income, and an increase in the number of craftsmen from the participation of the surrounding community, so that there was a harmonious synergy between UKM s and the people of Sengguruh Village . ABSTRAK Dalam upaya mendorong berkembangnya sebuah usaha, diperlukan sebuah. Pada masa pandemi Covid-19 yang sedang dialami bangsa Indonesia saat ini, diperlukan strategi dan upaya lebih keras lagi bagi para pelaku usaha khususnya UMKM untuk dapat mempertahankan usahanya. Oleh karena itu agar keberlangsungan usaha tetap berjalan, diperlukan pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat dan pendampingan yang menstimulus pengusaha kecil untuk dapat mengembangkan usahanya secara berkelanjutan. Salah satu kegiatan pemberdayaan ekonomi tersebut melalui program pengembangan UKM batik tulis yang dilaksanakan oleh tim PPMUPT Universitas Merdeka Malang dilaksanakan di Desa Sengguruh, Kabupaten Malang. Sasaran mitra adalah UKM Batik Zheng yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai unit produksi namun juga sebagai sentra pelatihan dalam rangka meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat. Memasuki tahun kedua ini target kegiatan yang dilaksanakan adalah merintis sentra pelatihan membatik. Pada akhir kegiatan terwujud tujuan pemberdayaan yaitu bertahannya sirkulasi produksi UKM Batik Zheng di tengah pandemi Covid-19 yang sedang melanda sehingga pengrajin tetap menperoleh pendapatan, dan bertambahnya jumlah pengrajin dari partisipasi masyarakat sekitar, sehingga ada sinergi yang harmonis antara UKM dengan masyarakat Desa Sengguruh. This study aims to analyze the improvement of the welfare of cooperative members in a sustainable manner, which is influenced by the development of business strategies and the competence of members. The research was conducted at women's cooperatives in East Java Province, Indonesia. The research design uses a quantitative approach. Respondents in this study are members of active women's cooperatives who have their own businesses from cooperative capital. The questionnaire was distributed by directly meeting respondents or via email among 185 respondents who were members of active cooperatives. SEM analysis was used to determine the effect of competency variables on improving member welfare mediated by business strategies. The results of this study indicate that the welfare of cooperative members was largely determined by the competence of cooperative member business actors, but this welfare improvement will be more effective if business actors understand and implement business strategies even though on a small scale.

This study aims to measure organizational performance as the impact of environmental changes by considering management accounting practices in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. This study develops contingency theory and institutional theory as a basis for analyzing the effect of environmental changes on the performance of manufacturing companies in Indonesia, both directly and indirectly, through changes in management accounting practices, which is responsible for company performance. The sample is randomly determined by 149 managers. Primary data using a questionnaire was collected by email, postal mail, or went directly to the manager. Data analysis was performed with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study found that environmental changes have no effect on improving organizational performance, but environmental changes affect the change in management accounting practices. In contrast, changes in management accounting affect organizational performance. It means that changes in management accounting are able to mediate environmental changes to improve organizational performance.

This study examines poverty eradication in Batu City, East Java Province - Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the application of the SDG concept for poverty alleviation in the Batu City area, it is hoped that these results can be recommendations for the application of the SDGs in other regions in Indonesia. The population and sample used in this study were local government officials and the community directly involved in poverty alleviation activities totaling 179 respondents. The analysis was carried out with descriptive qualitative using frequency analysis to find out the responses of respondents to the questionnaire. Next confirmatory statistical analysis is applied to strengthen the analysis results. SEM analysis with confirmatory is used to find out the variable indicators that can be used. The results of this study indicate that some of the goals proclaimed and agreed in the SDGs have been implemented by local governments, but still need to optimize the sustainability of economic development programs. So that local governments must be more intensive in implementing programs for equitable economic development.

This study aims to proceed the analysis through qualitative descriptive and further explore the welfare of management and members of cooperatives in a sustainable manner by observing the business strategies and competency of members. This research was conducted at women's cooperatives in Malang district with the method of observation of female cooperative members to explore competencies, strategies that have been implemented as well as the welfare of members. Data mining was carried out by direct interviews and distributing questionnaires to cooperative members. The analysis was carried out with descriptive qualitative, namely frequency analysis to find out the responses of 171 respondents with a questionnaire. The results showed that respondents in this study responded well to welfare indicators. This indicates that someone who joined as a member of a cooperative is more effective in improving their welfare. This increase in welfare was marked by an increase in family income, although the increase was not significant with an increase in prices for necessities. Besides, improving health and education is also better than before becoming a member of the cooperative.

This study aims to empirically examine the competencies of SMEs actors formed by various indicators. The results of this study are expected to be a reference by business actors, associations, and policymakers in applying the guidance to SMEs business actors based on problems and potential of business actors so that they have sustainable competence. The research method is carried out by observing business actors to explore the competencies they currently have, as well as the factors that shape them. The population and sample of research taken from the SMEs associations in Malang Raya as many as 110 business actors. The analysis was conducted with quantitative descriptive using frequency analysis and SEM analysis to determine the responses of respondents to the questionnaire distributed. The results show that the competencies of business actors had been developed optimally, however, there were still many business actors who run their businesses based on business instincts without sufficient knowledge, so that it was still rare for business actors to be able to compile and implement the correct business strategy.

National economic development can be realized, one of which is economic independence by encouraging the number of entrepreneurs, increasing business activities in the form of businesses and businesses on a small, medium or large scale. One of the potentials to become independent entrepreneurs is young people who of course must first have the provision of education. The reality is that there are still school-age teenagers who do not have the opportunity to get the right to education due to several things, one of which is economic limitations that prevent them from continuing their education. The consequences that arise from situations that are not good, namely teenagers who cannot continue their schooling will cause a new problem for both the child himself and his environment. The form of community service activities carried out is holding written batik training activities targeting marginal groups in Sengguruh Village, Malang Regency with a total of 30 participants. The purpose of this activity is to provide training participants with the opportunity to develop themselves and get alternative business ideas. The results obtained from this activity are an increase in insight and skills in making batik, increasing motivation for training participants to develop themselves, participants getting alternative business ideas that can be chosen as professions that have the potential to generate income and obtain business network information

The purpose of this study is to determine how the perceptions and understandings of hotel managers in East Java to improve the corporate image as a hotel marketing strategy. Research respondents are managers who work in the hospitality industry. A total of ninety-six stars hotel in East Java were assessed. Each star hotel has nine managers so that the study population is 621 managers. The research sample of 232 managers. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. Statistical techniques used Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and descriptive analysis of mean and mode. This research is related to the success of the hospitality marketing strategy; therefore, it is urgent to conduct an in-depth investigation of the corporate image of the hotel. The results showed that managers who work in the hotel industry better understand the corporate image of the hotel at an psychological level to maintain trust in customers. This study aimed (1) to describe the organizational culture, job satisfaction, and employees’ performance variables; (2) to analyzethe influence of corporate culture variables towards job satisfaction; (3) to investigate the effect of corporate culture and jobsatisfaction towards employee’s performance. The samples employed in this study were 49 people. The analysis techniqueadministered was the model of Structural Equation Modeling. The t-equation model was a combination of factor analysis,regression t and path analysis. The method of the structural equation could be tested to determine the value of direct influence, indirect influence, and the total influence between Exogenous Variables and Endogenous Variables. The organizational culture influenced job satisfaction, which meant that employees’ job satisfaction would be obtained if the company had a good organizational culture. Furthermore, organizational culture and job satisfaction affected employees’ performance. It could be assumed that the better the organizational culture of the company in supporting its employees in completing the company’s work, the more satisfied the employees would be. Moreover, it could improve the employees’ performance. Job satisfaction mediated the influence of organizational culture towards employees’ performance. Thus, the organizational culture could be inferred having a positive influence in improving employees’ performance, if employees felt satisfied with their workplace.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) and the empowerment of human resources employing the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach. This study provides input to local governments in regards to accelerating the achievement of SDGs as well as harmonizing them with government regulations and programs of community empowerment. The research method was conducted through observations on community organizations related to poverty alleviation policies and the implementation of SDGs in the local government. The research was conducted by interviewing, distributing questionnaires, and having Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with the members of community organizations performing program activities related to SDGs’ achievements. The data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method by combining frequency analysis to obtain an understanding of the questionnaire’s responses. The results of this study indicate that some of the goals listed in SDGs’ documents have been achieved successfully; in terms of sustainable economic development, however, they are still not optimal. This encourages regional governments to put more effort into achieving economic equality for the lower classes of society.

SMEs empowerment in Indonesia faces a lot of obstacles; one of the biggest and most frequent issues is capital. As a matter of fact, reality does not support the previous statement. Education, entrepreneur motivation, business competition, business protection, and empowerment are the issues to be dealt with in the national SMEs empowerment. The purpose of the study was to carry out sustainable development of SMEs through the improvement of the entrepreneurial capacity building where empowerment and change in business strategy become the means. As an addition, the basis for the study was Dajani (2013)’s article about the entrepreneurial empowerment of female migrant workers in the Middle East. The recommendation was to explore the overall impact of entrepreneurship towards public economic growth in detail. The method of analysis was descriptive quantitative and statistical analysis to support the result of the descriptive analysis. Thus, the analysis method used was an analysis of frequency towards 110 respondents of a questionnaire distributed in Malang. The findings showed that a lot of SMEs need some sort of business protection more particularly in the form of association. The result of the quantitative analysis revealed that empowerment towards SMEs of which goal was to increase business capacity had yet shown significant outcome; business strategy became the emphasis to improve business capacity. Therefore, a sustainable business strategy for SMEs in the form of improving entrepreneurial capacity is needed so that their business will last.

The sample in this study was 68 employees. The analysis technique uses path analysis. The results of the analysis show that job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a significant effect on loyalty. Besides, loyalty has a significant effect on employee performance. And job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance through loyalty. loyalty moderates job satisfaction on employee performance. Loyalty is the most important part to be noticed and considered by upper management because through loyalty employee work results can be achieved and employee performance increases.

This study aimed to analyze the linking of Islamic work ethos to the performance of employees through organizational commitment in a city government. The types of research include explanatory research, by developing survey methods, using questionnaires with city government employees as the respondents. The population of this study are all civil servants who are Muslims and enter the work unit. From the number of employees are taken samples with Slovin formula and 7% alpha. Then, it obtained 178 people as the research samples by using proportional random sampling technique. The data analysis techniques were using descriptive analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM). The results prove that the commitment of the organization is reflected by the commitment of sustainability, with the ethos of communication among employees and superiors. Organizational commitment plays a strategic role in mediating the work ethos of Islam on the performance of employees that is reflected in their communicative nature by building the cooperation in harmony.

The study aims to analyze the implementation of poverty reduction through human resource empowerment for optimization of community development using participatory rural appraisal methods. The analysis was done by comparing the implementation of all poverty reduction programs implemented at the field with Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method, resulting in poverty reduction methods based on real problems and potential of particular areas. Descriptive analysis was performed to determine the qualitative response of local government officials, on the perception of Millennium Development Goals (MDG's) success. The results showed that human resource development of local government officials were still not optimally implemented for poverty alleviation activities. The method of poverty alleviation activities was made based on charity, so it has been difficult to justify the sustainability of the program. The achievement of MDG's was already managed quantitatively, but qualitatively it still needed to be improved, especially in the field of public health care in general—that was for MDG's achievement on number four, five, and six. According to the respondents’ perception, legal means to preserve the environment have not been implemented.

Employee performance can be the supporting factor of company performance. However, employee performance can be affected by several factors. Employees can have optimal performance if they feel safe, have good working environment and have discipline. The purposes of this research are to analyze the effect of occupational health and safety, work environment and discipline on the employee performance in PPIC Thermo section in a consumer goods company and to find the dominant variable which primarily affects employee performance. This research was conducted by taking data from 47 respondents. The data were collected using questionnaire. The techniques in data analysis is multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The result shows that occupational health and safety, work environment and discipline are simultaneously significant to the employee performance. Discipline holds the dominant factor which affects employee performance.

This research observes the consumer behavior toward the usage of GSM card for cellular phone on PT. Telkomsel. Objectives of the research are to find out the consumer interest in using the GSM card on PT. Telkomsel and to find out the proper strategy which will be applied by PT Telkomsel in order to expand its market. The Observation is conducted on three areas: condition of the GSM-premiere card user, satisfaction level of the consumer and loyalty level of the consumer to the company products. This research uses internal and external environmental analysis that applying PLC, SWOT, and BCG analysis techniques. The research recommends that the company should, first, consider the internal as well as external factors which influence the consumer behavior in using the products of PT. Telkomsel Malang. Second, the company should determine the variation strategy in order to achieve optimal level of the consumer satisfaction. Third, it should determine a generic strategy, expansion, in order to achieve a well-known company of GSM card in Malang.

Purpose: This study aims to determine the influence of the importance of corporate social responsibility and financial performance to the value of banking companies in Indonesia. Design/Methodology/Approach: This research was conducted on 30 companies engaged in Banking in Indonesia listing on JSE 2010-2016. Findings: The results show that corporate social responsibility and financial performance have influenced the value firm of banking companies in Indonesia. Practical Implications: Indonesian banks must strengthen their capital structure and improve efficiency in order to compete with foreign banks. The company's goal is to increase the company's value or the growth of the company. Originality/Value: The results highlighted that the higher the value of corporate social responsibility issued by the company the better the performance of the company, the better the value of firm generated by Indonesian Banking companies., peer-reviewed
