In Romania, the COVID-19 pandemic determined the development of rural areas and consequently, the evolution of rural tourism, one of the most important contributors to sustainable tourism. The current study examines the rural tourism potential of a village in North-Western Transylvania (Romania), Groși. The main goal of this study is to evaluate the potential for sustainable growth by means of rural tourism in this commune. This assessment also considers the potential impact on the social and economic aspects of the destination, as well as the factors that could positively or negatively influence this entire process. The data was gathered using the survey-based inquiry. Therefore, a questionnaire including 32 questions, consisting of three parts in all, was developed. The first part included questions used by the researchers aimed to gather information regarding the respondents’ orientation towards remote rural destinations. The second part of the questionnaire was designed with the end goal of establishing to what extent the respondents are familiar with the resources of Groși, respectively to assess to what extent the destination can benefit from the development of hospitality services. The last part of the survey enabled researchers to collect identification data regarding the 117 respondents of the self-implemented survey. The main conclusions of the study highlight that respondents are mostly pleased or very satisfied regarding rural tourism in the region under analysis. Among the benefits that certainly are to everyone’s liking were found to be tranquility, beautiful landscapes, fresh air, important sights, and local gastronomy. The length of stay of a tourist is an index having a high significance for tourist destination management given that a longer length of stay leads to a higher occupancy hotel rate and higher revenues. The aim of the present paper is threefold. Firstly, it determines the average length of stay in the most popular Romanian Black Sea resort – Mamaia, for the four, respectively five-star hotels. Secondly, it concisely examines the extent to which the typology and nationality of tourists influence their average length of stay in this seaside resort. Finally, it examines the extent to which season’s year and the months of summer season influences the average length of stay. The data was collected from the platform Booking.com. The results indicate that, in Mamaia resort, the length of stay is mainly explained by the residential status of the tourists, their nationality and typology, respectively by the season’s month. Tourism is one of the main economic activities in many countries. The core idea of this paper is to conduct a comparative analysis of the economic impact of tourism in Romania, Spain and Turkey during 2000 - 2018. Thus, the aim of the present paper is threefold. Located in the southeast of Romania, Bucharest is the capital and the largest city in the country. Economically, Bucharest is the most prosperous city in Romania. During the last years, this city faced one of the highest growths in the number of hotels. Nowadays, due to the development of Internet-based technologies, the reservation process has changed; travelers can easily get information about the experience of other guests and also compare prices. The aim of the present paper is to analyze how prices for a hotel stay, in the city of Bucharest, can be influenced by some quality signaling factors, as star rating, online consumer's ratings and the number of consumer's comments. By using a multiple regression model for 3 to 5-star hotels in Bucharest, we identify, on one hand, the factors that have a positive influence on hotel room rates and, on the other hand, the factors that have a negative impact on the consumer's willingness to pay. Our main results supply signals to hoteliers concerning the attributes most valuable for consumers which can lead to a higher room rate premium. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The core idea of the present paper is to analyse the evolution of international tourism during 2000-2015, simultaneously highlighting the factors that contribute to this dynamic. Thus, the aim of this paper is two-fold. The first is to analyse the evolution of international tourism at global level and at regional level. The second is to screen the dynamics of international tourism in the top tourism destinations countries. Active Labor Market Policy - including measures such as professional training, job search assistance, wage subsidies on the private sector etc. - belongs to Public Policy which aims to prevent and reduce unemployment. Keeping in mind the negative consequences of the unemployment and the importance for each individual to be able to work, to have a job, we should notice that one of the major problems faced by the national institutions from our country and abroad is the lack of an optimal assignment of the unemployed to professional training programs while taking into account the labor market demand. Therefore, different economic problems concerning the assignment of the persons to attend a professional training program under the restriction of a specified labor market demand can be found in real life situations.
