The authors describe the pleasures and rewards of writing together. They reflect on their experience of writing collaboratively. They identify the potential benefits of collaboration, including increased productivity, mentoring opportunities, professional development and collegial networking. They note the ability of the collabo-writing process to allow faculty members with less experience to learn from colleagues. In addition, the authors advise faculty members to find collaborators they respect and establish a goal and a time frame for achieving it.
