[Abstract]: The present thesis addresses the population, conservation and evolutionary genetics of Erebia palarica Chapman, 1905, a narrow endemic butterfly restricted to the mountains of northwest Iberia.The dissertation undertakes (1) the phylogeography of the species by integrating genetics, morphometrics and ecological niche modelling. The result is a reconstruction of the evolutionary history of E. palarica in the context of Pleistocene glaciations. Next, the dissertation presents (2) an insight into the conservation status of E.palarica, as obtained from the combination of genetic and capture release-recapture data gathered in 2021 in a relatively isolated locality in Serra do Courel (NW Spain) as well as the application of IUCN criteria at whole distribution scale. Finally, the project addresses (3) a comparative study regarding the speciation of E. palarica and its sister taxa E. meolans (Prunner, 1789). The differentiation and putative reproductive barriers between both species are discussed, as stemmed from the phylogeny, Wolbachia infection, karyotypes, wing size and genitalia morphologies. Altogether, the case of E. palarica exemplifies the genetic dynamics and conservation needs of both endemic and montane taxa, while highlighting the threats faced by wild insect populations and the importance of implementing a multidisciplinary approach in conservation biology., [Resumen]: Esta tesis estudia la genética de poblaciones, de la conservación y evolutiva de la mariposa Erebia palarica Chapman, 1905, endemismo ibérico restringido a las montañas del noroeste peninsular. El proyecto aborda (1) la filogeografía de la especie, integrando análisis genéticos, morfometría y modelado de nicho ecológico. Como resultado, se reconstruye su historia evolutiva, enmarcándola en las glaciaciones del Pleistoceno. Seguidamente, se presenta (2) una visión del estado de conservación de E. palarica, apoyada en datos genéticos y de captura marcaje-recaptura (recogidos en 2021 en una localidad relativamente aislada en Serra do Courel, N.O. España) y en la aplicación de los criterios de la UICN al total de la distribución. Finalmente, se analiza (3) el proceso de especiación de E. palarica y su especie hermana,E. meolans (Prunner, 1789), abordando la diferenciación y posibles barreras reproductoras entre ambas mediante el análisis de su filogenia, infección por Wolbachia, cariotipo, tamaño alar y morfología genital. El Trabajo Fin de Grado se centra en la diversidad de estructuras familiares y su impacto en la educación infantil. Se justifica destacando la relevancia de la familia en el desarrollo infantil y su relación con las competencias educativas. La fundamentación teórica aborda la evolución de las estructuras familiares y los estilos educativos. Se busca promover una visión inclusiva de la familia en la sociedad actual. La propuesta práctica, se llevaría a cabo en un centro educativo en Paredes de Nava, consistiendo en cinco sesiones con actividades para comprender y aceptar la diversidad familiar. Se enfatiza la colaboración entre la escuela y las familias para enriquecer la experiencia educativa y fortalecer los lazos familiares., In this Final Degree Project, the aim is to make known the different types of families present in today's society in order to work on them in the early childhood education stage. The proposal is organized in five sessions, for students in the third year of kindergarten at C.E.I.P. Alonso Berruguete, located in Paredes de Nava. In addition, the active participation of families in the activities will be sought, establishing a close collaboration between the school environment and the home. Producción Científica, Introduction: This study is framed in the field of social inclusion of people with disabilities, following the guidelines of the United Nations Convention (2006) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. The main objective is to provide a historical overview of inclusive theories to undestand their social impact and their application in the educational field. Methodology: The methodology is qualitative and is approached from a hermeneutic-interpretative perspective, based on the analysis of bibliographic and documentary sources. Results: Among the results obtained, the sources found and the organisations that advocate for the social model of functional diversity stand out. However, for its actual implementation, more support resources are required in the educational sphere. Discussions: The digitization of archival materials demonstrates that knowledge becomes accessible when adapted to an open publication format, which can be accessed anywhere. Conclusions: The creation of an open-access learning resource repository is another inclusive measure proposed, to share adapted materials. Following the principles of the SDGs, a successful sustainable development program is achieved by creating partnerships with civil society and promoting initiatives that reduce inequalities

Producción Científica, En este estudio se analizan los estereotipos sexistas que están presentes en los contextos digitales. Para ello, se muestra cómo se produce el aprendizaje inconsciente a través de la asimilación de mensajes que se transmiten en la publicidad digital y llevan implícitos contenidos sexistas. Además, se explican las funciones que desarrolla el Observatorio de la Imagen de las Mujeres y se hace referencia a sus informes, para promover una alfabetización digital que haga posible un análisis crítico de la realidad actual.

[EN] PalmerNET is a Research Network (RED2022-134285-T), financed by the Agencia Española de Investigación, tofi ght against Amaranthus palmeri (A. palmeri) S. Wats., an invasive weed species established in Lleida, Huesca and Extremadura, with the ability to evolve herbicide resistance. Under the leadership of researcher Joel Torra, the Agrotechnology Research CERCA Centre (Agrotecnio) and the Universitat de Lleida (UdL) have started PalmerNET, where three other universities participate, namely the Universidad Pública de Navarra, the Universidad de Vigo and the Universitat Politècnica de València, and three other research institutes namely the Centro de Investigación y Tecnología Agraria de Aragón (CITA), the Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Agrarias of Madrid (INIA-CSIC) and the Centro de Investigaciones Científicas y Tecnológicas de Extremadura (CICYTEX). A total of 25 people, including researchers, professors and PhD students, integrate PalmerNET. The net will promote the collaboration and research between these research groups to understand and contribute to containing the spread of this invasive weed, and disseminate the available knowledge regarding this worrying crop protection problem. During the period of the network PalmerNET (from 2023 to 2025), several activities will be undertaken, like technical seminars with the sector, periodic meetings of the net members, and the creation of a web page. Progressive hepatic damage and fibrosis are major features of chronic liver diseases of different etiology, yet the underlying molecular mechanisms remain to be fully defined. N-RAS, a member of the RAS family of small guanine nucleotide-binding proteins also encompassing the highly homologous H-RAS and K-RAS isoforms, was previously reported to modulate cell death and renal fibrosis; however, its role in liver damage and fibrogenesis remains unknown. Here, we approached this question by using N-RAS deficient (N-RAS-/-) mice and two experimental models of liver injury and fibrosis, namely carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) intoxication and bile duct ligation (BDL). In wild-type (N-RAS+/+) mice both hepatotoxic procedures augmented N-RAS expression in the liver. Compared to N-RAS+/+ counterparts, N-RAS-/- mice subjected to either CCl4 or BDL showed exacerbated liver injury and fibrosis, which was associated with enhanced hepatic stellate cell (HSC) activation and leukocyte infiltration in the damaged liver. At the molecular level, after CCl4 or BDL, N-RAS-/- livers exhibited augmented expression of necroptotic death markers along with JNK1/2 hyperactivation. In line with this, N-RAS ablation in a human hepatocytic cell line resulted in enhanced activation of JNK and necroptosis mediators in response to cell death stimuli. Of note, loss of hepatic N-RAS expression was characteristic of chronic liver disease patients with fibrosis. Collectively, our study unveils a novel role for N-RAS as a negative controller of the progression of liver injury and fibrogenesis, by critically downregulating signaling pathways leading to hepatocyte necroptosis.
