The article presents the re-emerging Karnal bunt disease of wheat and preparedness of the global wheat sector. Topics include the rise in infection percentage has been primarily attributed to the adaptability of the pathogen to the prevailing weather fluctuations and absence of immunity in wheat megavarieties, and the extensive use of urea for higher yield and more irrigation events are also responsible for an increase in the intensity and incidence of Karnal bunt disease outbreaks.

The large-scale power systems are subjected to continuous disturbance due to the existence of sudden load perturbations, parameter uncertainties, basic variation etc. The Load Frequency Control (LFC) is a part of the power system stability for controlling power interchange and frequency deviation. In this paper, the LFC problem is analyzed with various types of Power System Stabilizers (PSSs) like PSS2B, PSS3B and PSS4B, to overcome the effect of load disturbance. Performance of PSSs, with and without notch filter, is examined. Further, the PSSs are designed to operate in both continuous and discrete mode for the given test LFC system. The continuous mode PSS4B having notch filter connected in cascaded, gives better time domain response among other types of PSSs. The proposed approach is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink environment for a five-area test power system consisting of five generating units having a non-reheated turbine, to highlight the efficacy in terms of robustness. Introduction: Uterine rupture is tearing of the uterine wall either partially or completely during pregnancy or delivery. Hence; the present study was undertaken for assessing rupture uterus among pregnant women. Materials & Methods: Data of a total of 750 subjects were analyzed. A master chart was made and detail of the clinical history and medical history was recorded in it. Among these 750 patients, incidence of uterine rupture was recorded. All the results were recorded in Microsoft excel sheet and were analyzed by SPSS software. Results: Overall incidene of uterine rupture was 3.33 percent. Various risk factors of uterine rupture in the present study included scarred uterus, previous cesearean, insidius use of oxytocin, prolonged second stage of labor etc. In majority of the patients with uterine rupture, most of the rupture occurred during intrapartum period. Conclusion: Although uterine rupture is preventable condition, it has also been one of the leading causes of maternal mortality. Therese; we recommend further studies in future. The gene effects for yield and yield component traits in faba bean genotypes of indigenous and exotic origins were estimated using generation mean analysis of five generations (P1 P2 F1 F2 and F3) in nine crosses for ten quantitative traits using two models. By five parameter model preponderance of additive and additive x additive interaction effects was observed with respect to days to maturity, plant height, branches per plant, clusters per plant, pod length, pods per plant and 100 seed weight while preponderance of dominance effect was observed in days to 50% flowering, seeds per pod and yield per plant. By joint scaling test preponderance of additive effects was observed for days to 50% flowering, days to maturity, plant height, clusters per plant, pods per plant and yield per plant and of dominance and dominance x dominance interaction effect with respect to branches per plant, pod length, seeds per pod and 100 seed weight. Duplicate epistasis was present in one cross each in plant height, pod length, seeds per pod and 100 seed weight, in two crosses each in days to 50% flowering, pods per plant and yield per plant and three crosses each in branches per plant and clusters per plant by five parameter model. However, duplicate epistasis was predominantly present in all the crosses for all the traits except a single cross each in days to 50% flowering, plant height, branches per plant and seeds per pod indicating that selection for improvement may be successful in later generations. It was concluded that the traits showing preponderance of fixable component of variance should be more responsive to selection than the traits with non-fixable component of variance and accordingly the preferable breeding strategy for faba bean improvement has been suggested. Present investigation was carried out in 65 genotypes was grown in 2014-15 cropping season in a randomized block design with three replications. Analysis of variance indicated that genotypes differed significantly for all of the studied traits. Correlation coefficient analysis indicated that all the traits had positive significant correlation coefficient with seed yield except plant height. Path coefficient analysis revealed that 100-seed weight, number of pods per plant, pod length, number of seeds per pod, number of branches per plant days to maturity had positive and direct effects on seed yield, while the characters, days to flowering, plant height, clusters per plant recorded direct negative effects. Selection based on 100 seed weight, number of clusters per plant, number of pods per plant, number of branches per plant and days to 50% flowering for the improvement of seed yield in faba bean. Topics include WB-infected spike appears pale yellow or white yellow has bleached and the bleached spike has completely sterile; and a susceptible cultivar, presence of inoculum, favourable climatic conditions in the form of frequent rainfall.

Enormous amounts of power electronics drives are being used in the industry nowadays. Authors find wide applications of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) drives in industry, office automation and appliances. This paper deals with the literature survey on the converter topologies of switched reluctance motor drives. The switched reluctance motor is famous for its fault tolerance and good dynamic response. One of the main aspects of the research in switched reluctance motor drives is the converter design. The performance and the cost of the SRM drive are highly affected by performance of the converters. Although a number of converters have emerged over the years for Switched Reluctance Motor drives. There has always been a trade-off between gaining some of the advantages and losing some with each new topology. The selection of a converter, in most of the cases, depends upon the application. Attempt is made to provide a guidance and quick reference for the researchers and practicing engineers, those are working in the area of converter topologies for Switched Reluctance Motor drives.
