We aimed to investigate the dielectric constant, dielectric loss factor and ac conductivity of 6,7-dihydroxy-3-(3-chlorophenyl)coumarin compound (DPCl-Kum) at different mole ratios of Cu(II) metal ions as a function of frequency. Dielectric measurements for DPCl-Kum were determined using an impedance analyzer as a function of frequency. Dielectric properties of DPCl-Kum and its composites were measured at 25 OC over the frequency from 100 Hz to 20 kHz and given as compared with each other. It was observed that the dielectric properties of the Cu (II) ion decreased with increasing mole ratios due to the decrease in polarization as a result of the interaction of polarized free –OH functional groups with Cu(II) ions in the DPCl-Kum compound. In addition, TGA analyzes of DPCl-Kum and its composites were performed. It was observed that as the Cu(II) ratio increased, both the thermal stability increased and the residual amount increased., Bu çalışmada, Cu(II) metal iyonlarının farklı mol oranlarında 6,7-dihidroksi-3-(3-klorofenil)kumarin bileşiğinin (DPCl-Kum) dielektrik sabiti, dielektrik kayıp faktörü ve ac iletkenliğinin frekansın bir fonksiyonu olarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. DPCl-Kum için dielektrik ölçümleri, frekansın bir fonksiyonu olarak bir empedans analizörü kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. DPCl-Kum ve kompozitlerinin dielektrik özellikleri, oda sıcaklığında 100 Hz ile 20 kHz arasındaki frekansta ölçülmüş ve birbirleriyle karşılaştırılarak verilmiştir. DPCl-Kum bileşiğindeki polarize olan serbest –OH fonksiyonel gruplarının Cu(II) iyonları ile etkileşimi sonucu polarizasyonun azalmasından dolayı Cu (II) iyonunun artan mol oranlarında dielektrik özelliklerinde de azalma olduğu görüldü. Ayrıca DPCl-Kum ve kompozitlerinin TGA analizleri gerçekleştirildi. Cu(II) oranı arttıkça hem termal kararlılığın arttığı hem de artık miktarlarının arttığı görüldü.

This study aimed to investigate the thermal and electrical behavior of the new copolymer system with chalcone side chain containing anthracene. The structures of monomer and copolymers were characterized using FT-IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR techniques. The thermal behaviors of copolymers have been analyzed by using DSC and TGA. The glass transition temperature was increased from 123 °C to 142 °C with increasing the anthracene content in the copolymer. Semiconducting composites of copolymers have been prepared by adding 4% graphene particles to the copolymer matrix. The dielectric measurements of the copolymers were investigated using the impedance analyzer technique in the frequency range of 100 Hz-20 kHz. The dielectric constant is greatly increase from 5.21 to 273.28 for P(MMA-ko-AAPAc 0.43) by the addition of 4% nanographene. The AC and DC conductivity of copolymer/graphene composites were measured. Furthermore, the activation energy values of the copolymer/4% graphene composites were obtained by measuring the DC conductivity as a function of temperature. The activation energy values of the copolymer/4% graphene composites were 0.320, 0.077 and 0.040 eV for P(MMA-ko-AAPAc 0.16), P(MMA-ko-AAPAc 0.31) and P(MMA-ko-AAPAc 0.43), respectively., Bu çalışma, antrasen içeren kalkon yan zincirli yeni kopolimer sisteminin termal ve elektriksel özelliklerini incelemeyi amaçlamıştır. Monomer ve kopolimerlerin yapıları FT-IR, 1H-NMR ve 13C-NMR teknikleri kullanılarak karakterize edildi. Kopolimerlerin termal davranışları DSC ve TGA kullanılarak analiz edildi. P(MMA-ko-AAPAc 0.43)’ın dielektrik sabiti grafenin ilavesiyle 5.21'den 273.28'e yükseldi. Kompozitlerin aktivasyon enerjisi değerleri, sıcaklığın bir fonksiyonu olarak DC iletkenliği ölçülerek elde edildi. Aaktivasyon enerjisi değerleri P (MMA-ko-AAPAc 0.16), P (MMA-ko-AAPAc 0.31) ve P (MMA-ko-AAPAc 0.43) için sırasıyla 0.320, 0.077 ve 0.040 eV olarak belirlendi.

Bu çalışmada, önce literatürde verilen metoda göre 4-vinil benzilakol'un hazırlanmasından sonra yapıdaki hidroksil grubu üzerinden 2-bromoizobütiril bromür ile açilleme reaksiyonu gerçekleştirildi. Sentezlenen monomer ile stiren'in serbest radikalik polimerizasyon yöntemiyle kopolimerleri hazırlandı ve çalışmalarda makrobaşlatıcı olarak kullanıldı. Amit yan gruplu monomer hazırlamak amacıyla OH ve NH2 grupları taşıyan organik yapılar ile asetik anhidrit'in tepkimesinden hazırlanan amit ve serbest OH uçlu yapılar sentezlendikten sonra akriloilklorür ile tepkimelerinden yeni monomerler hazırlandı. Sentezlenen monomerler daha önce hazırlanan kopolimerlerin makrobaşlatıcı olarak kullanılmasıyla ATRP yöntemiyle aşı kopolimerler hazırlandı. Sentezlenen polimerlerin yapı karakterizasyonunda FT-IR, 1H ve 13C-NMR teknikleri kullanıldı. Polimerlerin termal davranışları DSC ve TGA ile belirlendi. Farklı ısıtma hızlarındaki bozunma eğrilerinden yararlanılarak polimerlerin Flyn-Wall-Ozawa metoduna göre termal bozunmasına yönelik aktivasyon enerjileri hesaplandı.Tez kapsamında iki fazlı supra moleküllerde yumuşak matris içindeki tersinir hidrojen bağ özelliğinden kendi kendini iyileştirme davranışı araştırıldı. Aşı kopolimerlerden hazırlanan numuneler iki parçaya ayrıldı ve bu iki parça daha sonra bir araya getirilerek bir dakika bekletildi. Farklı zaman aralıklarında iyileşmesi görülen numuneler SEM ve DMA teknikleriyle karakterize edildi. Yapılan ölçümlerle zamana karşı iyileşme yüzdeleri belirlendi. Polimerlere yarı iletken özellik kazandırmak için farklı oranlarda ticari olarak temin edilen nanografen ile kompozitleri hazırlandı. Poli[4-(2-bromoizobütiroilmetil)]stiren ve poli(3-asetamidopropil akrilat) homopolimerleri hazırlandı ve bu polimerlerin ve kompozitlerinin dielektrik özellikleri sıcaklık ve frekansa bağlı olarak incelendi. Hazırlanan kompozitlerin dc iletkenlik özellikleri incelendikten sonra en yüksek oranı için akım-voltaj grafikleri alınarak diyot olma özelliği araştırıldı. Ayrıca empedans analizör ile entegreli bir sistemde diyot özellik gösteren polimer kompozitlerin akım (I)-voltaj (V), voltaj-kapasitans, seri direnç ve iletkenlik değerleri incelendi. In this study, 4-vinyl benzyl chloride was first prepared by acylation with 2-bromoisobutyryl bromide on the hydroxyl group of its structure after the preparation of 4-vinylbenzylalcohol according to the method adapted from the literature. Copolymers of this monomer with styrene were prepared by free-radical polymerization method and used as macroinitiator in studies. In order to prepare a monomer with the amide side group, compounds containing the OH and NH2 functionals together and amide and OH ended structures prepared from the reaction of acetic anhydride were synthesized, and then monomers were prepared from their reactions with acryloyl chloride. Graft copolymers were prepared by the ATRP method by using the prepared copolymers as a macroinitiator. FT-IR, 1H and 13C-NMR techniques were used in the characterization of synthesized polymers. The thermal behaviors of the polymers were examined by DSC and TGA. Activation energies for the thermal degradation of the polymers were calculated according to Flynn-Wall-Ozawa method by using the TG curves at different heating rates.In thesis concept, the self-healing behavior was investigated from property of reversible hydrogen bonding in soft matrix in the multi-phase supramolecules. The graft copolymer was first divided into two parts in order to examine the self-healing feature and these two pieces were then brought together and held for one minute. The self-healing were performed using the SEM and DMA techniques at room temperature. The recovery percentages were estimated versus time from measurements. The dielectric behaviors of the copolymers were examined as a function of temperature and frequency. Poly[(4-(2-bromoisobutiroyl methyl)]styrene and poly(3-acetamidopropyl acrylate) homopolymers were prepared, and the dielectric properties of these polymers were investigated using different filler. The graphene-based composites were prepared in order to give semi-conductive properties to the pure copolymers prepared at our study. After analyzing the dc conductivity properties of these composites, current (I)-voltage (V) graphs were recorded for the composite system containing graphene in the highest ratio, and diode characterization was carried out. In addition, capacitance, series resistance and conductivity values versus voltage of polymer composites were investigated by a system integrated with the impedance analyzer. 299
