Das Portal wb-web und der darin eingebundene EULE Lernbereich sollen Lehrende in der Erwachsenen- und Weiterbildung durch (Selbst-)Professionalisierungsangebote beim Kompetenzaufbau unterstützen. Haben Erwachsenenbildner*innen diese digitalen Angebote im Zuge des ersten coronabedingten Lockdowns im Jahr 2020 verstärkt genutzt, um ihre erwachsenenpädagogischen Handlungskompetenzen selbstgesteuert zu erweitern? Die statistische Analyse der Autor*innen legt nahe, dass dem so ist. So haben in der Zeit des ersten Lockdowns mehr Personen als im Vergleichszeitraum 2019 auf das Portal wb-web sowie den EULE Lernbereich zugegriffen. Noch stärker als bisher waren dabei Themen rund um die digitale Gestaltung von Lehr-/Lernsettings von Interesse. Dies verdeutlicht, dass es seitens der Nutzenden verstärkte Bedarfe an digitalen Informationsangeboten zu erwachsenenpädagogischen Themen zu Beginn der Corona-Krise und darüber hinaus gab. [ES] El nitrógeno (N) y el fósforo (P) son nutrientes esenciales para la producción agrícola y para garantizar la seguridad alimentaria, pero la producción de N a escala industrial conlleva un elevado impacto medioambiental y el P es un recurso con perspectivas de escasez. El proyecto Life Enrich, iniciado en septiembre de 2017, con una duración de 4,3 años y un presupuesto total de 2,789 millones de euros, está liderado por el Centro Tecnológico del Agua (Cetaqua) y cuenta con la participación del Instituto de Investigación y Tecnología Agroalimentaria (IRTA), Aigües del Segarra Garrigues (ASG), la Empresa Municipal de Aguas y Saneamiento de Murcia (Emuasa), la UPC y la UPV. El proyecto ha permitido la validación de un proceso para la recuperación de N y P de las aguas residuales y su valorización como fertilizantes, impulsando así un modelo de economía circular que conecta el tratamiento de las aguas residuales con el sector agrícola.

Web-basierte Lerntechnologien bieten die Möglichkeit, Validierung von Kompetenzen mit geringerem Ressourceneinsatz durchzuführen, und erleichtern das Nachweis- und Zertifikatsmanagement. Ein solches web-basiertes Lerninstrument für Lehrende in der Erwachsenenbildung wird im Projekt EULE entwickelt. In mehr als 25 Lernfeldern, für die Lernangebote hinterlegt sind, bietet EULE eine bedarfsorientierte Bearbeitung von Lernmodulen. Dabei wird eine Identifizierung, Dokumentierung und Bewertung von Kompetenzständen ermöglicht und zu weitergehendem Lernen angeregt.

Variability of soil water content is known to increase with the size of spatial domain in which measurements are taken. At field scale, heterogeneity in soil, vegetation, topography, water input volume and management affects, among other factors, hydrologic plot behaviour under different mean soil water contents. The present work studies how the spatial variability of soil water content (SWC) is affected by soil type (texture, percentage of stones and the combination of them) in a timber-orientated plantation of cherry tree (Prunus avium) under Mediterranean climatic conditions. The experimental design is a randomized block one with 3 blocks * 4 treatments, based on two factors: irrigation (6 plots irrigated versus 6 plots not irrigated) and soil management (6 plots tillaged versus 6 plots not tillaged). SWC is continuously measured at 25, 50 and 100 cm depth with FDR sensors, located at two positions in each treatment: under tree influence and 2.5 m apart. This study presents the results of the monitoring during 2012 of the 24 sensors located at the 25 cm depth. In each of the measurement point, texture and percentage of stones were measured. Sandy-loam, sandy-clay-loam and loam textures were found together with a percentage of stones ranging from 20 to 70 %. The results indicated that the relationship between the daily mean SWC and its standard deviation, a common procedure used to study spatial variability, changed with texture, percentage of stones and the estimation of field capacity from the combination of both. Temporal stability analysis of SWC showed a clear pattern related to field capacity, with the measurement points of the sandy-loam texture and the high percentage of stones showing the maximun negative diference with the global mean. The high range in the mean relative difference observed ( 75 %), could indicate that the studied plot may be considered as a good field-laboratory to extrapolate results at higher spatial scales. Furthermore, the pattern in the temporal stability of tree growth was clearly related to that one in SWC. Nevertheless, the treatments that represent the mean conditions in growth were not exactly the same than those in SWC, which could be attributable to other characteristics than soil.

Most cultivated horticultural species are potential hosts for arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. These fungi develop inside the roots of plants and establish a mutualistic symbiotic relationship that allows greater tolerance to water and salt stress for the plant. This project is part of a Technology Transfer Demonstration Activity, funded through Operation 01.02.01 Technology Transfer of the Rural Development Program of Catalonia 2014-2020. This activity aims to demonstrate the reduction of fertilizers and water thanks to inoculation with mycorrhizal fungi in vegetable crops. The activities took place at the IRTA facilities in Cabrils (Barcelona). The trial of this work has been the fourth crop of a rotation of leeks, zucchini and beans. The species used was celery (Apium graveolens) and two mycorrhizal inocula - IRTA inoculum and commercial inoculum - compared to non-mycorrhizal plants. The response of mycorrhizal plants in conditions of lower availability of water and fertilizers and their impact on production and quality have been studied. In general, there are no significant differences between control and mycorrhizal treatments in terms of fresh weight and dry weight of aerial part, water content of leaves and dry weight of root. There are significant differences in mycorrhizal treatments between optimal irrigation and deficit irrigation for the different parameters analysed. Biomass indices show that in deficit irrigation the plants have invested in greater root development, but yield (fresh commercial weight of the aerial part) has been lower than in optimal irrigation. Mycorrhizal treatments do not show an increase in celery production. Mycorrhizae have not caused any significant difference in the nutrient content of the soil after celery cultivation, nor in the area of optimal fertigation, nor in the area where 25% less has been fertilized. La mayoría de especies hortícolas cultivadas son huéspedes potenciales de los hongos micorrízicos arbusculares. Estos hongos se desarrollan en el interior de las raíces de las plantas y establecen una relación simbiótica mutualista que permite una mayor tolerancia a estrés hídrico y salino para la planta. Este trabajo está enmarcado en una Actividad de Demostración de Transferencia Tecnológica, financiada a través de la Operación 01.02.01 de Transferencia Tecnológica del Programa de desarrollo rural de Cataluña 2014-2020. Esta actividad tiene por objetivo demostrar la reducción de fertilizantes y agua gracias a la inoculación con hongos micorrízicos en cultivos de huerta. Las actividades se han llevado a cabo en las instalaciones del IRTA del centro de Cabrils (Barcelona). El ensayo de este trabajo ha sido el cuarto cultivo de una rotación de puerro, calabacín y judía. La especie utilizada ha sido apio (Apium graveolens) y dos inóculos de micorrizas - inóculo IRTA e inóculo comercial - comparados con plantas no micorrizadas. Se ha estudiado la respuesta de las plantas micorrizadas en condiciones de menor disponibilidad de agua y fertilizantes y su impacto en la producción y calidad. Por lo general, no existen diferencias significativas entre el control y los tratamientos micorrizados en cuanto a peso fresco y peso seco de la parte aérea, contenido de agua hojas y peso seco de raíz. Si que existen diferencias significativas en los tratamientos micorrizados entre riego óptimo y riego deficitario para los diferentes parámetros analizados. Los índices de biomasa muestran que en riego deficitario las plantas han invertido más en el desarrollo radicular, mientras que el rendimiento (peso fresco comercial de la parte aérea) ha sido inferior con respecto al riego óptimo. Los tratamientos micorrizados no muestran un aumento de producción del apio. Las micorrizas no han generado diferencia significativa alguna en el contenido de nutrientes del suelo después del cultivo de apio, ni en la zona de fertirrigación óptima ni en la zona donde se ha fertirrigado un 25% menos. Els índexs de biomassa mostren que en reg deficitari les plantes han invertit més en un desenvolupament radicular, però el rendiment (pes fresc comercial de la part aèria) ha sigut inferior en comparació al reg òptim. Green roofs provide a number of environmental advantages like increasing urban biodiversity, reducing pollution, easing burdens on drainage systems, and lowering energy costs thanks to thermal insulation. Frankenia laevis, Dymondia margaretae and Iris lutescens were tested in a green roof installation. For all three species, we assessed two minimal irrigation treatments and one rain-fed treatment to resemble Mediterranean climate conditions analyzing the thermal and hydrological performance of all three species and their substrates through an evaluation of green cover, mortality, and biomass. The most influential factors registered for all three species are the relationship between air and water in the substrate and the interaction between green cover and substrate, respectively, for summer and winter seasons. In particular, D. margaretae preserved more water in its substrate than the other species both in summer and winter and after each rainfall event. F. laevis registered the highest level of variation in terms of substrate water content and of rainwater retention. I. lutescens achieved low hydrological performance, a limited amount of green cover, and slow growth. Our results suggest the absolute need of additional irrigation, managed in accordance with specific functional objectives, for all three species analyzed under Mediterranean conditions and different water regime info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion
