The location-based services (LBS) user experience in controlled indoor settings in this scientific research. The environments included a range of user demographics, device configurations, and ambient factors. According to our findings, customer satisfaction ratings ranged from 5 to 9 on a scale of 1 to 10, and the average location accuracy was 1.1 meters (±0.4 meters) across various interactions and locales. These conclusions were supported by qualitative comments, which expressed satisfaction with the effectiveness of the check-in procedures and the practicality of several LBS features. Negative reviews, on the other hand, revealed difficulties with positioning technology accuracy, highlighting the intricate interactions among variables influencing indoor location-based services user experiences. This study provides a solid scientific basis for indoor location-based services (LBS) optimization, highlighting the need of tackling practical issues to improve user contentment and the usefulness of such services in indoor environments.

This paper provides a thorough analysis of the development of artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of Industry 4.0 and the soon-to-be Industry 5.0. Important conclusions come from the data, such as the startling 900% increase in AI applications between 2010 and 2018, which corresponds to a 60% rise in the proportion of industrial enterprises using AI at that time. Moreover, our analysis shows that Industry 4.0's AI integration has resulted in a notable 200% cost reduction and a cumulative 400% boost in production efficiency. Our study delves into the rapid deployment of critical technologies like 5G connectivity and quantum computing within the framework of Industry 5.0. The usage of 5G connectivity has increased by 200% in only two years, while quantum computing has seen a staggering 1000% growth in acceptance over the course of eight years. These findings demonstrate the fast technological transition occurring in Industry 5.0. Furthermore, by 2033, the research predicts a startling 400% increase in human-machine cooperation and an anticipated 133% decrease in mistake rates. The research highlights how Industry 4.0's deep consequences of AI development and Industry 5.0's revolutionary possibilities will impact manufacturing in the future.

This research examined the effectiveness of data-intensive traffic management in urban settings using real-time insights from traffic management simulation experiments. The examination of data on traffic flow revealed a noteworthy decrease in congestion, with a 25% increase in traffic velocity during peak hours. Real-time information led to a 40% drop in the severity of traffic accidents and a 50% reduction in reaction times. Improved road safety was aided by a 30% decrease in accidents during inclement weather thanks to real-time weather data. To further optimize urban traffic flow, dynamic traffic management operations based on real-time information also resulted in a 20% reduction in congestion. These results highlight the revolutionary potential of data-intensive traffic management, offering safer and more effective urban transportation solutions by incorporating real-time information into traffic control plans.

Raising awareness through Virtual Experiencing (RAVE) and a Cross-Cultural Perspective on Raising Awareness through Virtual Experiencing (C-RAVE) approaches are used in this article to promote awareness of concerns relating to linguistic stereotyping. Virtual Reality (VR) technology has completely changed several facets of modern life, including instruction, training and entertainment. We give a summary of the techniques employed to increase awareness of how stereotypes might distort our vision. The patterns of the answers provided by the participants demonstrate that the reported gender of the speaker in addition to the accent (native vs. non-native), has an impact on the respondents' assessments of performance. Additionally, we were able to show that the discussions and ideas produced by these response patterns led to a rise in self-awareness of language and stereotyping-related problems. The paper gives a general description of RAVE and examines how it may improve education, create empathy and foster good social change. Focus on a critique of our methodologies and place our work within a larger debate of strategies and efforts for how educational institutions might actively contribute to combating (language) discrimination and bias in many ways. The relevance of Raising Awareness by Virtual Reality and Cross-Cultural Raising of Awareness by Virtual Reality in fostering inclusion and understanding in a society that is becoming more sustainable globally connected is highlighted in the article’s conclusion.

To achieve enhanced flux dissipation, microchannels heat sink are being effectively implemented in various engineering processes. Here, a numerical analysis is to be carried out on an open stepped micro pin fin heat sink (MPFHS) with different step size. The stepped pin fin heat sink (PFHS) having varied fin height in an array of two fins having inline arrangement. For the simulation purpose, a single-phase water was used as working fluid with variable thermophysical properties. The present configuration has operated for Reynolds number =100-500, heat flux of 500 kW/m2. The step variation of 100 µm, 200 µm and 300 µm has been considered. It was observed that with increase in step size, the heat transfer augmentation also increases. However, at higher Reynold number, the present studies does not provide effective results in terms of sustainability.

In the current paper, AA6101-T6 aluminium alloy was subjected to friction stir welding (FSW) utilizing a vertical milling machine. Alloy plates were welded in butt position to provide a virtually flat interface, using a tool shape that was carefully selected. Because of the excessive generation of heat via the tool and workpieces during friction stir welding, substantial deformation in the nugget zone is seen. The mechanical attributes of the base metal at the joint are significantly impacted by an excessive variation in temperature at the weld. In this experiment, mechanical properties-related changes through the FSW process are kept to a minimum to achieve high tensile strength. The tool’s rotating speed (measured in rpm), the workpieces' traverse speed (measured in mm/min), and the tool tilt angle were chosen as the parameters to regulate the weld quality. As a result of its 44% contribution, the rotating speed parameter is shown to be the most beneficial one for stir welding. The metric determining transverse speed contributes the least, at 19%. For effective stir welding, such as high strength welds, defect-free welds, short welding times, low welding costs, etc., it is preferred that the tool rotational speed parameter be concentrated. By using sustainable Taguchi approach to optimize the chosen process parameter, high tensile strength is achieved at the welded connection.

There is no doubt that the miniaturization of various electronic devices, including processors, servers, micro-electromechanical system devices, etc. has resulted in increased overall performance. However, there is a major problem with thermal management in these devices, as well as in many others. One of the most promising solutions is liquid cooled microchannel heat sink. In the current work, different cases of open micro pin-fin configurations of heat sink were considered. The configurations considered were a uniform height micro pin-fin heat sink, three-stepped unidirectional micro pin-fin heat sink and three-stepped bi-directional micro pin-fin heat sink. These configurations were also oriented in two dissimilar fashions, i.e. inline and staggered, so the total of six heat sink configurations are compared and analysed. Using single phase water as a coolant and copper as a substrate, these configurations were simulated numerically for different Reynolds numbers (10-160) under heat flux of 500 kW/m². It can be concluded that at low Reynolds numbers, steepness does not contribute much in both inline and staggered arrangements, while at higher Reynolds numbers, 3 stepped staggered configurations has revealed the best performance due to boosted fluid mixing and more projecting secondary flow.
