The coastal area in Pangandaran Beach Destination has been developed for marine tourism activities. Surf fishing by Cikidang village fisherman is one of marine activities that attract tourists for recreation. Surf fishing is one of sustainable fishing techniques for marine tourism development which provide Cikidang fishermen opportunity to create it as tourist fishing activities in friendly environment. This community service study aims to investigate the challenge and benefit, also assist the Cikidang fisherman community in making surf fishing tourism package as community based tourism development to increase their additional income as well as to enhance their surf fishing tourism product development knowledge and skill. The method used in this community service study is a participatory survey approach and analyzed descriptively based on depth-interview and field observation. The result of this study show the surf fishing is a friendly environment activities. The surf fishing tourism package program operation phase should be divided into three stages consist of preparation, catching, and cooking services for one day tourist activities. The surf fishing operator is suggested managed by three type of fishermen group associated with the Cikidang fish auction place. The offering surf fishing tourism package price is calculated based on the fisherman local guide fee, surf fishing tools and equipment rate, and cooking services rate.

The application of smart cities has become a trend in regional planning in Indonesia. The current condition of urban development planning is more focused on environmental and social aspects of sustainability of the problems of today which are directly related to problems urban. Such as the decline in the quality of public services, the reduced availability of land settlements, road congestion, difficulty finding parking spaces, increased consumption of energy, waste pollution, increased crime rates, and other social problems. Thus, to be able to solve these problems, planning is needed One of the smarter developments is through smart cities. One of the development sectors which has become a priority for the last 5 years is the tourism sector. Where in the field tourism is known as the Smart Tourism concept. In Indonesia Smart City Index Year 2018, the city of Yogyakarta is ranked third in the medium city category. So that this research in the end will answer the readiness of the City of Yogyakarta as a Smart Tourism Destination. This research is based on three variables, namely, smart service, smart marketing, and smart service management. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive analysis. Study This study was conducted on July 30, 2019, to August 10, 2019. Participants in the study It is divided into two, namely enterprise and government. Enterprise participants include Museum Fort Vredeburg, Smart Park, Aisya Tour, Zaza Tour, Cabin Hotel, Paku Mas Hotel, Hamzah Batik, Beringharjo Market, and for the government, namely the Yogyakarta City Tourism Office. Results from this study show that enterprises and governments are still not ready to become smart tourism destinations. The results of this study are expected to be an input for the enterprise and the government in the city of Yogyakarta to be able to implement smart tourism in the future

One of the government's efforts to increase tourist visits is by doing digital marketing. Digital marketing is also carried out by the SUDINPAREKRAF Thousand Island to increase the number of tourists to Pari Island. Pari Island is one of the resident islands on Thousand Island. Starting from 2018 until now there has been a decline in the level of tourist visits to Pari Island caused to natural disasters. Even so, other resident islands in the Kepulauan Seribu have more tourist visits than Pari Island. In 2020, the SUDINPAREKRAF Thousand Island held technical guidance on using social media as a tool to market Pari Island. This study aims to explain the influence of social media marketing on interest in visiting Pari Island, Thousand Island. This study uses a quantitative approach through a verification method based on probability sampling of the population. The number of respondents in this study was 150 who were obtained through an online questionnaire and were taken according to the target market of the SUDINPAREKRAF Thousand Island. The data obtained were processed using SPSS, interval successive method (MSI), descriptive statistical analysis, and simple regression. The results of this study indicate that social media marketing has a significant effect on interest in visiting Pari Island, Thousand Island.

Ten days after the President of Indonesia announced the first COVID-19 case, WHO declared that COVID-19 is a global pandemic. Since then, the virus has spread rapidly and caused numerous deaths and terrible economic impacts. According to UNWTO, tourism is one of the most effective sectors, due to worldwide restrictions on travel and closed borders. In Indonesia alone, the pandemic decreases around Rp 85 trillion of Indonesia’s tourism revenue by 2020. Based on many reports a lot of hotel and food businesses were shut down and many workers were impacted. In an attempt to recover the condition Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy implemented a program called CHSE certification to ensure tourists' safe travel. Floating Market Lembang is one of the certified CHSE destinations in Bandung. The subject of this study is the visitors of Floating Market Lembang, who visited the destination around December 2020 to June 2021. This study aimed to see the impact of CHSE certification in Floating Market Lembang on tourists’ visiting decisions. As destination attributes play a big role in tourists’ visiting decisions, this will be seen through tourist motivation, push and pull factors. Quantitative methods used to generate tourists’ opinions on the matter then will be analyzed using regression analysis. The result of this study shows that push factors alone have no influence on tourists’ motivation, pull factors, on the other hand, have an influence on tourist’s motivation. At the same time, both push and pull factors have an influence to visit Floating Marker Lembang under CHSE circumstances.

Following up on the Development of The National Tourism Strategic Area of Lake Toba, which was directed in the study "Integrated Tourism Masterplan for Lake Toba" (ITMP Danau Toba) in 2018, one of which was the development of river-based natural tourism attractions allocated in the Asahan Watershed including Asahan Regency, Tanjung Balai Municipality, Toba Samosir Regency, and Simalungun Regency. Regarding the policy of river-based tourism attractions, this research is focused on developing river tourism activities that will have implications for the development of the natural attraction of the Asahan River. This study has produced a mixed method of sustainable tourism development strategies by prioritizing the benefits of the ecological, socio-economic and cultural environment. Development is directed towards packaging special interest tourism products following the characteristics of available resources.

Lancang Island is one of the islands in the Kepulauan Seribu Regency with the potential for tourism and fishing activities. Some residents of Lancang Island took advantage of the opportunity by establishing a fishing charter business. This study aims to provide a proper planning strategy for the tourist business unit to increase public income on Lancang Island. The fishing tourism business in Lancang Island includes four units such as Fishing Charter, Boat Rentals, Catering, and Accommodation. The data used are primary and secondary, and the research method is qualitative and presented descriptively. According to research using the BCG Matrix, the entire fishing charter units on Lancang Island are in the Cash Cow quadrant, so concentric diversification is a viable planning strategy. The planning strategies consist of product planning, market and marketing planning, and technology planning tailored to each business unit.

Pengembangan wisata yang berada di jalur alternatif pada umumnya mengalami beberapa kendala dikarenakan permasalahan pola ruang terkait aksesibilitas serta tata ruang fisik alam, tata ruang aktivitas dan fasilitas wisata terkait pertimbangan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Bumi Perkemahan Tangsi Jaya terletak di jalur alternatif Ciwidey-Cianjur memiliki potensi wisata perkemahan dengan keunikan daya tarik wisata alam hutan, pedesaan, persawahan dan sungai dengan dominasi pengunjung lokal dan domestik. Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengembangan wisata bumi perkemahan melalui pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif pada aspek spasial, pola ruang serta tata ruang aktivitas dan fasilitas wisata berdasarkan konsep Eco Forest Tourism, River Tourism dan tata ruang fisik alam. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan gambar pemetaan pola ruang, serta tata letak aktivitas dan fasilitas wisata bumi perkemahan Tangsi Jaya yang mempertimbangkan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Penerapan hasil penelitian ini diharapakan dapat menjadi arahan rencana pengembangan pembangunan Bumi Perkemahan Tangsi Jaya bagi para pengelola setempat dengan harapan sektor pariwisata dapat memberikan multiplier effect pariwisata berkelanjutan baik bagi peningkatan pendapatan daerah maupun pemerataan pendapatan masyarakat Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Ciwidey, Cianjur di masa yang akan datang

Pariwisata menjadi salah satu sektor bisnis unggulan yang terus mengalami perkembangan dalam kajian akademis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap model pengembangan aktivitas wisata dalam mendukung peningkatan bisnis masyarakat di Kawasan Sungai Cilimbung Kabupaten Garut. Metode yang diterapkan yaitu deskriptif-kualitatif dengan unit analisis sumberdaya produk dan sumberdaya sosial di lokasi penelitian. Penelitian ini telah menemukenali konsep aktivitas wisata yang sesuai untuk dikembangkan di Kawasan Sungai Cilimbung berdasarkan konsep experiential tourism. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini telah menghasilkan pemetaan minat dan kepentingan stakeholder terkait, untuk dikaji lebih jauh dalam pengambilan keputusan pembangunan bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat. Tourism is one of the leading business sectors that continues to grow in academic studies. This study aims to reveal a model for developing tourism activities in supporting community business improvement in the Cilimbung River Basin, Garut Regency. The method used is descriptive-qualitative with unit analysis of product resources and social resources at the research site. This research has identified the concept of tourism activities that are suitable to be developed in the Cilimbung River Area based on the concept of experiential tourism. Furthermore, this research has resulted in mapping the interests and interests of relevant stakeholders, to be studied further in making development decisions for the government and the community.

The Old City of Jakarta as a major tourist destination, is at the “Competitive Parity” level In the “tourism destination competitiveness” criteria. That position has not been posted in the “Sustained Competitive Advantage” as the highest level. Hence, in order to improve the competitiveness level, the effective and efficient strategy should be formulated and implemented. To formulate the strategy, this research analyse the five components of tourism destination competitiveness by the SWOT analysis model. The five components are Core Resources and Attractors; Supporting Factors and Resources; Destination Management; Destination Policy, Planning and Development and Qualifying and Amplifying Determinants. The SWOT Analysis also includes the SWOT Matrix and Quadran as the reference for formulating the strategy. The result shows that progressive strategy could be formulated and implemented to enhance the competitiveness of the Jakarta Old City.

AbstractThe continuous rapidly growth of tourism sector with the tight competition in the field of tourismmakes not all tourist destinations in the world always experience an increase in the number of tourist visits each year. Banjarmasin City, dubbed the “Kota Seribu Sungai” or "City of Thousand Rivers" and is known as the Thousand Rivers tourist destination has experiencedfluctuate number of tourist arrivals and tend to decline. The fluctuate number of tourist arrivalssourced from tourist visiting decisions can be influenced by various factors, including tourism destination productsand image. This study aims to see the effects of tourism destination products consisting of physical products, people, packages, and programsalsothe image of tourism destinations consisting of cognitive image and affective image on tourists visiting decision to the city of Thousand River Banjarmasin. The data obtained were taken by questionnaire to 123 tourists by accidental sampling. The results of the research were analyzed using multiple linear regression with two equations, namely (I) The influence of tourism destination products on tourist visiting decision and (II) The impact of tourism destination image on tourist visiting decision. The resultsfound the positive influence of tourism destination products to thetourist visiting decision of 54.5% and the image of tourism destination on the tourist visiting decision of 53.4% and the rest of 45.5% and 46.6% influenced by other factors not examined. The results of the analysis also showed the effect of tourism destination products variable partially consisting of physical products, packages, and programs have an effect on the decision of tourists while people have no influence. As for the variable image of tourism destinations in partial consisting of cognitive image and affective image affect the decision of tourists visiting to Kota Seribu Sungai Banjarmasin.
