Through the development of the issue at the theoretical level, the contribution, both from a theoretical and an empirical point of view, wants to solve the questions of using social intelligence, investigating personality characteristics and analyzing Machiavellian manifestations in the field of business. The data from the respondents were obtained using questionnaire methods, where they were gradually processed and analyzed using mathematical-statistical methods at the level of descriptive and inductive statistics, as well as more advanced statistical methods. The aforementioned methods were used to collect data on important sociodemographic characteristics of the respondents, as well as social intelligence (this is the MESI questionnaire), as well as selected personality traits (this is the B5 questionnaire) and, of course, Machiavellianism (VYSEDI). Mutual statistical differences were found in selected attributes of social intelligence, as well as attributes of personality characteristics and Machiavellianism in the field of educational level of the respondents, the sphere in which the respondents work, as well as within the family of the respondents. The results can be practically used in preparing future businessmen, placing people in trading positions within the organization, training of businessmen. Based on the presented results, findings and knowledge, as well as their summary and specification of benefits for practical applications, it can be stated that the goal of the contribution has been fulfilled. This paper is focused on the impacts of alkaline and metal deposition on soil and vegetation in the immission field of magnesium factory Jelšava-Lubeník (Slovakia). Soil samples and the foliage of vegetation were obtained from the Jelšava-Lubeník area with specific alkaline pollutants. The examined area is one of the most devastated regions of Slovakia. From the point of view of environmental regionalization, it belongs to an environmentally damaged area of Category 3. The total content of heavy metals in the soil and vegetation (Pb, Zn, Cr, Mn, Mg) were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. Soil reaction was determined in a solution of 0.01 M CaCl2. Vegetation was assessed by the Braun-Blanquet scale. In conclusion, we can say that spray particles of free magnesium oxide (MgO) strongly influence soil reaction, diversity, and vegetation cover. The research showed that the investigated sites were mostly strongly alkaline; the contents of Cr, Mn and Mg were over the toxicity limit, while the measured values of Pb and Zn did not exceed the limits set by the law. The values that measured significantly above the set limit show contamination that can be considered harmful and toxic. In the monitored species, that is, Agrostis stolonifera, Elytrigia repens and Phragmites australis, an over-limit content of Pb and Zn and toxic contents of Mg and Mn were found.

The purpose of this paper is to review the understanding of the term "green entrepreneurship" in contemporary management sciences and its interpretation by people who are or soon will be professionally active. Investigating the phenomenon from a historical perspective will allow an evolutionary approach to the category to indicate contemporary challenges. Apart from a review of the literature on the subject, the interpretations of the term by the target group are recognized in the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) context. The research methods used in the article include a critical analysis of the literature on the subject and field research presented in the empirical part. Primary research was carried out in two countries: Poland and Slovakia, among students and professionals working, as well as those professionally active in the private and public sectors. The study aimed to generally identify the knowledge of the concept of "green entrepreneurship". Based on the results, the responses were delimited and those indicated by less than 5% of the respondents were considered irrelevant. Based on the remaining answers, a new survey questionnaire was created, which was used to conduct the second stage of the research. To simplify the research tool, it was assumed that the questions would be binary ("yes" or "no" answers), and the resulting survey would consist of 22 phrases (marked with alphanumeric symbols) and a form. The respondents' answers from the second stage of the study allowed us to identify characteristic groups of variables with which the respondents associated the term "green entrepreneurship" and the groups of respondents who indicated an understanding of green entrepreneurship in a specific aspect. It also allowed for the identification the determinants of these indications, as well as similarities and differences between Poles and Slovaks in this respect. For this purpose, the classification and regression tree method (C&RT) was used. For the purposes of this study, JASP 0.18.1 software was used to create the tree.
