El objetivo de la investigación se orientó en analizar el tratamiento estadístico según el nivel de medición de la variable, bajo los postulados de Mendenhall, W., Beaver, R. y Beaver B. (2015), Rodríguez, J. Pierdant, A. y Rodríguez E. (2016), entre otros. Desde la perspectiva metodológica, se relaciona con la investigación documental, lo cual implica recolectar información, empleando fuentes secundarias para generar consideraciones. El resultado de la revisión bibliográfica permitió determinar, que según el nivel de medición de la variable existen cuatro (04) clasificaciones establecidas: nominal, ordinal, intervalo y razón; se consideraran diversos coeficientes estadísticos. Las consideraciones finales, se orientan a establecer la identificación del nivel de la variable, así como el tratamiento que se le debe dar pues no todos los niveles aplican parámetros de igual naturaleza. En este sentido, aplicar la estadística, permite conocer la orientación en el proceso decisorio; reuniendo los métodos para resumir, analizar y presentar hechos; siendo la escala de razón la más alta en la medición, en ella se integran los niveles previos; posee un cero absoluto como una absoluta no presencia del atributo a medir. Si una medición tiene como resultado cero (0) en una escala de razón, existe la base para afirmar que el objeto no posee la característica medida.
