Government procurement of goods/services is essential in facilitating the success of the organization's strategic goals and government work programs. For this reason, the results of government procurement of goods/services must be of high quality at competitive prices and at the right time to support the main tasks and functions of regional apparatus, regional development and community economic growth. This study aimed to explain the effect of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and attitude toward using on behavioral intention to use, as well as the effect of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on behavioral intention to use mediated by attitude toward using. The research subjects were goods/services procurement actors within the Bali provincial government, with a sample of 100 people. Determination of the sample using a non-probability sampling method, namely purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) technique. The results showed that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and attitude toward using had a positive and significant effect on behavioral intention to use, perceived usefulness had a positive but not significant effect on attitude toward using, perceived ease of use had a positive and significant effect on attitude toward using , attitude toward using does not mediate the effect of perceived usefulness on behavioral intention to use, and attitude toward using mediates the effect of perceived ease of use on behavioral intention to use. The practical implication that can be given from the findings of this study is that this study can be used as a basic model for evaluating the Local Electronic Catalog strategy for perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward using and behavioral intention to use. Based on the results of statistical data, that is among the three variables that influence behavioral intention to use.

This article explores the factors that influence the behavioral intention to use Shopeepay, an e-wallet service in DKI Jakarta, Indonesia. The study reveals that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and trust all have a significant positive impact on behavioral intention, while perceived enjoyment has a positive but insignificant impact. Trust is identified as the most influential factor, followed by perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. The article also acknowledges the growing popularity of e-wallets in Indonesia, but notes limitations in the research, such as the focus on e-wallet users in the DKI Jakarta area and the lack of extensive theoretical studies. Overall, the findings suggest that users' perceptions of usefulness, ease of use, and trust can shape their intention to use e-wallet applications like Shopeepay. The study recommends that Shopeepay prioritize user experience and ensure the security of personal information to enhance trust and encourage usage. [Extracted from the article]

Fintechs are startups that operate in the financial sector and have gradually been receiving space in the market. However, it is still not clear which elements lead individuals, especially those involved in the business field, to adopt and use these services. Thus, this study aims to analyze which elements encourage the behavioral intention to use Fintech services from the perspective of students in the business field. The theoretical basis and hypothesis development were based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), which contemplates the facilitating conditions, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and the behavioral intention to use said services. The study also included the variable "security" as an antecedent. Age and gender were controlled for this study. A survey resulted in a sample of 107 students, and the data was analyzed with a mixed-method approach: partial least squares - structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA). With PLS-SEM, the findings demonstrate the positive effect of performance expectancy, effort expectancy and security on the behavioral intention to use fintech services. The fsQCA showed that different causal configurations can lead students to a high adoption of services provided by these startups. This study brings up new evidence that contributes to the UTAUT theory by intertwining this discussion with the security variable perceived during technology usage. Furthermore, it expands the entire discussion to the context of accepting a contemporary technology. Regarding the students, practical evidence is gathered regarding the determinants of their intention to use financial services. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: The utilization of virtual healthcare services, particularly telemedicine, has been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the pandemic is no longer the primary concern, telemedicine still holds potential for long-term adoption. However, implementing telemedicine in Indonesia as an online platform for remote healthcare delivery still faces issues, despite its potential. Further investigation is required to identify the factors that affect its adoption and develop strategies to surmount implementation challenges. Objective: This study aims to examine and enrich knowledge about the adoption of telemedicine in Indonesia. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted through an online questionnaire to collect data. Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) was employed by integrating with several factors, such as eHealth Literacy, Privacy Concerns, and Trust. Gender and age were considered as moderating variables. Data samples were analyzed using Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results: The findings suggest that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, eHealth literacy, and trust have a significant impact on adults' behavioral intention to use telemedicine. However, facilitating condition, price value, and privacy concern do not show any significant effects on adults' Behavioral Intention to Use Telemedicine. Conclusion: This study highlights the importance of understanding adoption factors to develop effective strategies. Results show performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, eHealth literacy, and trust are significant factors, while facilitating condition, price value, and privacy concern are not. The UTAUT2 model is a good predictive tool for healthcare adoption. To increase usage intention, several aspects must be considered in the implementation of telemedicine. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

CAPITAL market , *CAPITAL investments , *INTERNET marketing , *PLANNED behavior theory , *CONTROL (Psychology) - Abstract
Aim/Purpose This study aims to examine the ten factors from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) theories in order to analyze behavioral intentions to use the Indonesian online capital market investment platforms and the effect of behavioral intentions on actual usage. Background The potential growth of capital market investors in Indonesia is large, and the low use of the Internet for investment purposes makes it necessary for stakeholders to understand the factors that affect people's intentions to invest, especially through online platforms. Several previous studies have explained the intention to use online investment platforms using the TAM and TPB theories. This study tries to combine TAM, TPB, and UTAUT theories in analyzing behavioral intentions to use an online capital market investment platform in Indonesia. Methodology The research approach employed is a mixed method, particularly explanatory research, which employs quantitative methods first, followed by qualitative methods. Data were collected by conducting interviews and sending online surveys. This study was successful in collecting information on the users of online capital market investment platforms in Indonesia from 1074 respondents, which was then processed and analyzed using Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) with the IBM AMOS 26.0 application. Contribution This study complements earlier theories like TAM, TPB, and UTAUT by looking at the intention to use online capital market investment platforms from technological, human, and environmental viewpoints. This study looks at the intention to use the online capital market investing platform as a whole rather than separately depending on investment instruments. This study also assists practitioners including regulators, the government, developers, and investors by offering knowledge of the phenomena and factors that can increase the capital market's investment intention in Indonesia. Findings Attitudes, perceived ease of use, perceived behavioral control, subjective norm, and national pride were found to be significant predictors of the intention to use online investment platforms in Indonesia, whereas perceived usefulness, perceived risk, perceived trust, perceived privacy, and price value were not. Recommendations for Practitioners All practitioners must be able to take steps and strategies that focus on factors that have a significant impact on increasing usage intentions. The government can enact legislation that emphasizes the simplicity and convenience of investment, as well as launch campaigns that encourage people to participate in economic recovery by investing in the capital market. Meanwhile, the developers are concentrating on facilitating the flow of investment transactions through the platform, increasing education and awareness of the benefits of investing in the capital market, and providing content that raises awareness that investing in the capital market can help to restore the national economy. Recommendations for Researchers Further research is intended to include other variables such as perceived benefits and perceived security, as well as other frameworks such as TRA, to better explain individuals' behavioral intentions to use online capital investment platforms. Impact on Society This study can help all stakeholders understand what factors can increase Indonesians' interest in investing in the capital market, particularly through online investment platforms. This understanding is expected to increase the number of capital market participants and, as a result, have an impact on economic recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic. Future Research Future research is expected to investigate additional factors that can influence individuals' behavioral intention to use an online capital market investment platform, such as perceived benefits and perceived security, as well as the addition of control variables such as age, gender, education, and income. International research across nations is also required to build a larger sample size in order to examine the behavior of investors in developing and developed countries and acquire a more thorough understanding of the online capital market investment platform. Background: The swift shift toward internet hospitals has relied on the willingness of medical practitioners to embrace new systems and workflows. Low engagement or acceptance by medical practitioners leads to difficulties in patient access. However, few investigations have focused on barriers and facilitators of adoption of internet hospitals from the perspective of medical practitioners. Objective: This study aims to identify both enabling and inhibiting predictors associated with resistance and behavioral intentions of medical practitioners to use internet hospitals by combining the conservation of resources theory with the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology and technostress framework. Methods: A mixed methods research design was conducted to qualitatively identify the factors that enable and inhibit resistance and behavioral intention to use internet hospitals, followed by a quantitative survey-based study that empirically tested the effects of the identified factors. The qualitative phase involved conducting in-depth interviews with 16 experts in China from June to August 2022. Thematic analysis was performed using the qualitative data analysis software NVivo version 10 (QSR International). On the basis of the findings and conceptual framework gained from the qualitative interviews, a cross-sectional, anonymous, web-based survey of 593 medical practitioners in 28 provincial administrative regions of China was conducted. The data collected were analyzed using the partial least squares method, with the assistance of SPSS 27.0 (IBM Corp) and Mplus 7.0 (Muthen and Muthen), to measure and validate the proposed model. Results: On the basis of qualitative results, this study identified 4 facilitators and inhibitors, namely performance expectancy, social influence, work overload, and role ambiguity. Of the 593 medical practitioners surveyed in the quantitative research, most were female (n=364, 61.4%), had a middle title (n=211, 35.6%) or primary title (n=212, 35.8%), and had an average use experience of 6 months every year. By conducting structural equation modeling, we found that performance expectancy (β=−.55; P <.001) and work overload (β=.16; P =.005) had the most significant impact on resistance to change. Resistance to change fully mediated the influence of performance expectancy and partially mediated the influences of social influence (variance accounted for [VAF]=43.3%; P =.002), work overload (VAF=37.2%; P =.03), and role ambiguity (VAF=12.2%; P <.001) on behavioral intentions to use internet hospitals. In addition, this study found that the sex, age, professional title, and use experience of medical practitioners significantly moderated the aforementioned influencing mechanisms. Conclusions: This study investigated the factors that facilitate or hinder medical practitioners' resistance to change and their behavioral intentions to use internet hospitals. The findings suggest that policy makers avoid the resistance and further promote the adoption of internet hospitals by ensuring performance expectancy and social influence and eliminating work overload and role ambiguity. Health problems in Thailand are escalating because the nation has entered into an aging society era. There are more patients, which make it hard for everyone to access hospital care. DoctorMe is the only application in Thailand that provides self-care advice at no charge. DoctorMe could enhance a capacity of public health services. It promotes self-care, which results in diminishing reliance on healthcare professional. When the number of application download is taken into account, the application shows a low success rate in creating a behavioral intention to use. There are only 0.285 percent of Thai smartphone users who have downloaded DoctorMe. This research aims to 1) study factors that comprise the behavioral intention to use, 2) determine an impact that such factors have on the behavioral intention to use, and 3) develop a model to represent the behavioral intention to use among the target population. This research employs a mixed-method research approach, between a qualitative and a quantitative research. For the qualitative research, 17 semistructured interviews are carried out with individuals, who never use DoctorMe and belong to the target group of Generation Z in Bangkok. A taxonomy analysis is employed for data analysis. For the quantitative research, samples are 300 individuals, who belong to the Generation Z in Bangkok. The sample size complies to the sample size requirements for structural equation model. A multi-stage sampling technique is chosen, and data is collected through questionnaires. For data analysis, the second order confirmatory factor analysis in structural equation modelling is selected. The research finds that 1) technology acceptance model (TAM), diffusion of innovation theory (DOI), social cognitive theory (SCT), and channel expansion theory (CET), which comprise the behavioral intention to use, are high, 2) each has a factor loading score (1) of: TAM (1 = 0.88), DOI (1 = 0.91), CET (1 = 0.91) and CET (1 = 0.67). Each factor has an impact on the behavioral intention to use at a statistic significance level of .05, and 3) the author proposes a model called the TDSC (TAM-DOI-SCT-CET) model. It presents concepts and methods to improve Generation Z's behavioral intention to use DoctorMe. This research presents information on mHealth usage among citizens, in which there is limited information, and determines factors that make up a behavioral intention to use. It also provides know-hows to mHealth entrepreneurs to improve a behavioral intention to use, which could promote usage among current users, and attract new groups of users. In addition, it promotes the Thailand 4.0 policy, especially on the part responsible by the Ministry of Public Health, through networks of private bodies and citizens so that they are educated in managing their own behaviors. - Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this paper was to study the views of faculty members of Iranian universities on service innovation and service quality in the intelligent library and their behavioral intentions during the Covid-19 crisis. Methodology: The method used to perform this applied research was analytical survey. The sample size was equal to 384 faculty members of universities in the provincial capitals of the country. The data collection tool was a questionnaire. Seven faculty members confirmed the content validity of the questionnaire. The overall reliability of the questionnaire was equal to .853 which indicated the optimal reliability of the questionnaire. The data analysis was performed using multiple regression and structural equation modeling using SPSS software version 23 and Amos version 21. Findings: Findings showed that service quality and service innovation could significantly explain the variance of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. On the other hand, parabolic correlation coefficients showed that the variable of service innovation was 20.79 percent and the quality of service was 32.71 percent of the variance of the variable of perceived usefulness. In adition, the variable of service innovation was 13.91 percent and the quality of service was 35.16 percent of the variance of the variable, which in turn, explain the perceived ease of use. The variables of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use were able to explain the changes related to attitude toward using. On the other hand, the perceived usefulness should be 12.25 percent and the perceived ease of use should explain 21.06 percent of the variance of the variable of attitude toward using. Besides, the variable of attitude toward using was able to explain the changes related to the behavioral intention use and the variable of attitude toward using explained 61.77 percent of the variance of the variable of behavioral intention use. Moreover, the findings of the indicators of the proposed model indicated that it had a desirable and acceptable fit. Conclusion: Library users' satisfaction depends on providing quality information in the shortest possible time. Therefore, it is necessary to first have complete knowledge of the needs of users and then to meet these needs in a situation that can meet those needs to some extent. On the other hand, in times of crisis, libraries must provide quality information resources to their users online. This will not be possible unless libraries move towards intelligent libraries. Therefore, considering the importance of service quality and service innovation in university libraries, administrators of universities and libraries should take a dynamic approach to create their own intelligent libraries, evaluate and view the views of key library users in different periods, because this evaluation has strengths and weaknesses. In general, the results of this research are useful and effective in improving the quality of intelligent libraries and facilitating interaction between users and intelligent libraries. This paper identifies the development of cryptocurrency’s regulations and influences of people’s intentions to use cryptocurrency in Thailand. The analysis of behavioral intentions to use cryptocurrency is conducted applying the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model. The study used the questionnaire survey, and applied the multiple regression analysis to analyze the influences of Thai people to use cryptocurrencies. This research categorizes the purposes of cryptocurrency into three groups including: the first purpose is investment, as people buy cryptocurrency for wealth increasing; second, it is a means of payment for goods and services; and the third purpose is collecting points and redeeming rewards, as people are able to simply compare cryptocurrency to credit card points and redeem them for rewards. Regarding the findings, social influence is the most important factor that persuades people to use cryptocurrency. The other determinants in the UTAUT model that encourage people intention to use cryptocurrency are facilitating conditions, effort expectancy, and performance expectancy [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study proposes an e-government adoption model to determine the factors which lead to citizens' adoption of e-government services in the Togolese context while investigating the mediating roles of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. The proposed model was tested using valid and reliable data gathered from a sample of 482 respondents. Findings indicate that behavioral intention to use e-government services is significantly influenced by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. More importantly, the analysis revealed that, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use play a mediating role, either full or partial between the antecedent variables, social influence, trustworthiness and facilitating conditions and the outcome variable, behavioral intention to use. The implementation of e-government services with a focus on these fundamental factors will eventually increase the acceptance and adoption of such services by citizens. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: The supply of online therapy options for mild to moderate depressive disorders has substantially risen both nationally and internationally in the past years. While the efficacy and efficiency of specific online-based therapeutic services were indicated within the framework of scientific evaluations, little is known about the acceptance of these new therapy options. Methods: In a nationwide online survey of online-based therapy options for mild to moderate depressive disorders, the attitude and stance as well as the use intention and the subjectively perceived knowledge of 657 medical practitioners and therapists, active in psychotherapeutic and psychiatric treatment were collated. The impact of the potential predictors on the use intention of online-based therapies, based on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology, was analyzed by means of a binary logistic regression model. Results: Besides the perceived performance and expense expectations, the supportive framework conditions, the influence of the cooperative environment, the individual technical affinity as well as the evaluation of the prospective significance of online-based therapy proved to be significantly influential predictors on the user intention. Special predictability for a positive user intention was shown related to the perceived potential of online therapy. Conclusion: The results underline the relevance of further evidence-basing of online therapy for mild to moderate depressive disorders. A user-oriented, participatory technology development proves to be just as relevant as a comprehensive sensitization, elucidation and education of potential users for a successful implementation. The purpose of this research was to analyse adoption of digital banking services in Thailand by using diffusion of innovation theory and perceived risk and trust as mediator variables. Online questionnaires were collected from 223 Thai people who had saving accounts with commercial banks in Thailand and had already registered and experienced with digital banking services. The results of the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis indicated that diffusion of innovation has no direct influence on perceived risk in digital banking service. However, the diffusion of innovation does have a direct influence on trust and indirect influence on behavioural intention to use digital banking when using trust as mediators. In addition, trust have a significant direct influence on behavioral intention to use digital banking. The results of this research significantly found that diffusion of innovation is a major factor in developing the digital banking adoption. It also increases trust in the service, which in turn affects the behavioral intention to use digital banking services. Furthermore, the results of this research can be used as a model for executives in formulating relevant policies and strategies to achieve competitive advantages; and developing an efficient digital banking system that is in accordance with the needs of users in everyday life. The Fourth Industrial Revolution has brought us more and more service innovations and automation, and with it many challenges. The use of automated services such as robotics in restaurants is also very risky in terms of innovation, therefore, it is important to understand the perceived resistance of customers to better provide strategies for further innovation in restaurants. In order to understand customers’ resistance to innovation and future intentions to use robotics and automated services in restaurants, a conceptual model based on innovation resistance theory (IRT) was developed. The model consists of seven components: functional barriers (use, value, and risk), psychological barriers (tradition and image), intention to recommend, and behavioral intention to use. This study is based on quantitative analysis through the application of an online questionnaire (n=232) and uses the method of partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that usage barrier, value barrier and tradition barrier significantly affect consumers’ future recommendation intentions of robotics in restaurants. Usage barrier, tradition barrier, and image barrier are also related to usage intention. Interestingly, the risk barrier was not shown to have a significant relationship with either intention to use or recommendation. info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion

Acceptance and intention to use mobile learning is a topic of growing interest in the field of education. Although there is a considerable amount of studies investigating mobile learning acceptance, little research exists that investigates the driving factors that influence students' intention to use mobile technologies for assessment purposes. The aim of this study is to provide empirical evidence on the acceptance of Mobile-Based Assessment (MBA), the assessment delivered through mobile devices and technologies. The proposed model, Mobile-Based Assessment Acceptance Model (MBAAM) is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). MBAAM extends TAM in the context of MBA by adding to the Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness, the constructs of Facilitating Conditions, Social Influence, Mobile Device Anxiety, Personal Innovativeness, Mobile-Self-Efficacy, Perceived Trust, Content, Cognitive Feedback, User Interface and Perceived Ubiquity Value and investigates their impact on the Behavioral Intention to Use MBA. 145 students from a European senior-level secondary school experienced a series of mobile-based assessments for a three-week period. Structured equation modeling was used to analyze quantitative survey data. According to the results, MBAAM explains and predicts approximately 47% of the variance of Behavioral Intention to Use Mobile-Based Assessment. The study provides a better understanding towards developing mobile-based assessments that support learners, enhance learning experience and promote learning, taking advantage of the distinguished features that mobile devices may offer. Implications are discussed within the wider context of mobile learning acceptance research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper adjusts UTAUT2 to study user acceptance of an early stage technology by using the example of 3D printing for home users. The authors' findings show that UTAUT2 is capable of measuring user acceptance and that social influence and effort expectancy are good predictors for 'intention to use' for early stage technologies. Nevertheless, there seem to be significant differences in the antecedents depending on the involvement levels and the DIY mentality of the user. Moreover, this research confirms and extends the applicability of UTAUT2 to early stage technologies while improving the authors' understanding of prospective 3D printing home users. This study was used to determine the acceptance preferences of OVO technology in business faculty students in Surabaya using the TAM theory model (Technology Acceptance Model) that focuses on Perceived Efficacy Factors, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usage that is Easy to Use, and Perceptions of Use that are Perceived and Behavior Intentions for Use. OVO service is a mobile application that allows users to transact using electronic money. There is a trend of using electronic money payments using transitions to make transactions easier, more effective, and efficient, but still safe. Survey data were collected from 160 OVO users and analyzed using quantitative methods with multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Perceived Risks and TAM core constructs such as Perceived Usability and Perceived Ease of Use have been proven to be both partially and simultaneously significant for the Behavior of Intention to Use. This study explains the significant relationship between constructs and discussing this information can be used to increase OVO acceptance among Surabaya students. This research is based on primary data collection and interpretation. This provides comprehensive insights about OVO acceptance to students in the city of Surabaya.

This study aims to determine the factors that influence behavioral intentions to use E-wallet. The factors tested include application quality, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and attitude toward using. The population in this study is college students in Jember Regency, Indonesia. Data analysis is carried out using Variance-based Partial Least Square. The number of samples used is 180 college students as users of the e-wallet application. Six hypotheses are tested, and four hypotheses are successfully accepted. Perceived ease of use has a positive effect on perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness has a positive effect on attitude toward using e-wallet applications. Attitude plays a vital role in behavioral intentions to use e-wallets. The quality of the e-wallet application does not affect the level of perceived usefulness. The perceived ease of use of the application has no direct effect on attitude. This study's results are beneficial for e-wallet providers to increase the level of the use of e-wallet.
