This study seeks scientometric, content and co-occurrence analysis of systematic review and Meta-analysis articles in the field of gamification in education. In terms of "purpose," this is an applied study and regarding "type," it is a scientometric and co-occurrence analysis. The researchers conducted a search in WoS, Scopus and PubMed databases. The abstract and full text of 25 out of 71 articles were selected to be included in the study. Then, the citation and altmetrics indicators were investigated. In addition, VOSviewer software was utilized to analyze and visualize keywords and map of articles. Finally, the full texts of all articles were analyzed to be provided more information about the types of analyses in these articles. The findings showed that 25 articles were published between 2016 and 2021. Co-occurrence map of articles showed that the three variables of motivation, learning, and engagement have been considered in gamified education studies and most studies have examined gamification in the e-learning environment. Finally, the content analysis of the articles showed that 344 articles were included and analyzed in these 25 systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The types of analyzes performed on these 344 articles categorized them in 7 categories including Country/Territory, Duration of intervention, Lessons/content and the level of gamified educational course, the number of learners, platforms, the game elements and the theories. The results of the study illustrate that different dimensions of the gamification in articles in the field of Education have been considered by the researchers.

The hip fracture causes significant disabilities in many elderly people. Many studies around the world have identified various risk factors for the hip fracture. The aim of this study was to systematically investigate the risk factors of hip fractures. This study is a systematic review of risk factors for hip fractures. All published papers in English and Persian languages on patients in Iran and other countries between 2002 - 2022 were examined. The search strategy used keywords matching the mesh, including : predictors, hip fracture, and disability. Articles were selected from international databases (PubMed, Proquest,Web of Sience, Scopus, Google scholar and Persian(Sid,Magiran), and the Newcastle Ottawa Scale was used to assess the risk of bias. The study has identified several factors that were significantly correlated with the risk of hip fracture, including age, cigarette and alcohol consumption, visual and hearing problems, low BMI levels, history of falling, weakness, and diseases such as stroke, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, arthritis, diabetes, dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, liver and kidney diseases, bone density, osteoporosis, vertebral fracture, and hyperthyroidism. However, the study did not find any significant correlations between the consumption of calcium and vitamin D, history of fractures, cognitive disorders, schizophrenia, and household income, and the risk of hip fracture. The results of this study reveal the determining role of some risk factors in hip fracture in older persons. Therefore, it is recommended that health policy makers provide the possibility of early intervention for some changeable factors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Bibliometric citation analyses have been widely used in medicine to help researchers gain foundational knowledge about a topic. The purpose of this study is to analyze the 100 most-cited articles in art therapy to determine their characteristics and to reveal the influential articles in this field. This applied and scientometric study was conducted using retrospective bibliometric and co-occurrence analysis (by VOSviewer software). One hundred of the most-cited articles in the field of art therapy were retrieved from Scopus and analyzed. In this article, the most productive journals, authors, countries, and institutions in producing the 100 most-cited articles were introduced. The co-occurrence maps showed that keywords including cancer, Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, dementing disorders, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder had larger nodes. Moreover, depression, life quality, anxiety, and stress were among other studied concepts. This finding indicates the positive effect of art therapy in the treatment of various diseases, particularly cancers and mental disorders. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

An essential aspect of cancer registration is data quality. Data quality for Cancer Registries has been reviewed in this paper using four main criteria (comparability, validity, timeliness, and completeness). Medline (via PubMed), Scopus, and Web of Science databases were searched for relevant English articles published from inception until December 2022. Each study was analyzed for its characteristics, measurement method, and data quality features. According to the present study, the majority of articles evaluated the completeness feature, and the fewest evaluated the timeliness feature. A completeness rate of 36% to 99.3% and a timeliness rate of 9% to 98.5% were observed. Standardizing metrics and reporting of data quality is necessary to maintain confidence in the usefulness of cancer registries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study sought to compare scientific trends in research performance of Iranian and Turkish scholarly outputs based on 15 metrics in four categories This study is an analytical and applied study based on scientometrics indices and based on SciVal Tool. The findings showed that Iranian researchers' performance was better than Turkish researchers in metrics such as scholarly outputs, citation count, citations per publication, citedness rate, Field-Weighted Citation Impact, and views count, views per publication, Field-Weighted Views Impact, collaboration and top journal percentiles during the period. However, Turkish researchers had better performance than Iranian academics in collaboration and academic-corporate collaboration impact. Based on the research results, policymakers in Iran should take steps to remove obstacles to the international cooperation. Besides, this comparison shows that Iranian researchers should seek a greater perspective for competition. The most important issue is that despite the increase in the quantity of research, Iran should consider measures to increase their research quality and impact on industry and people's lives as well. Increasing the relationship between industry and academic institutes can contribute to this impact. In this study, while comparing all research outputs of Iran and Turkey based on 15 SciVal indicators, a comprehensive study has been conducted on the reasons for Iran's scientific growth, discussed in the discussion section, which can be the approach and plan of many research policy makers in other countries. Aims: The purpose of this study is the analysis of bibliometric studies of the medical most-cited papers. Materials and Methods: This applied and the scientometric study was conducted using retrospective bibliometric analysis methods. AScopus search was conducted and 883 articles were retrieved. After reviewing the titles and abstracts, 432 articles related to the purpose of this research were identified. Items such as year, journal, country, and institution were considered. Medical subject heading and NLM were applied for the subject categorization of articles. Given the dynamics of subject areas over time, only the content of 117 articles published in 2020 and 2021 were analyzed. These 117 articles have been reviewed with 11,700 most-cited articles. By reviewing 117 articles, the most productive journal, country, and institute in producing 11,700 articles were identified. Results: The findings have shown a significant number of these publications review 100 most-cited articles in the field of medicine. Articles pertaining to the Nervous System, Musculoskeletal System, Dentistry, Radiology, and Cardiovascular System are the most numerous among the publications. Conclusion: The results of this study allow readers to know the most productive countries, institutions, and journals of various subject areas, as well as the most influential fields and research trends in that subject area. The purpose of this research was to conduct a comparative study of the impact of ResearchGate indicators on increasing citation and usage counts of hot papers in clinical medicine indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) database. This is an applied research and has been performed using scientometric methods. Article titles, the number of citations, "Usage count last 180 days", "Usage count since 2013", publication year, and authors of 583 hot papers in clinical medicine were extracted from the WoS database. Then, the readership and citation counts of articles were extracted from ResearchGate social network. The data were analyzed by descriptive and analytical statistics using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 21. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the number of received citations, both usage counts in WoS and ResearchGate indicators (P value = 0.01). Selfarchiving in scientific social networking sites such as ResearchGate may be effective on visibility of articles that may also be related to their received citations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background and Aim: The importance of social networking sites (SNSs) is evident as a tool for research team working and for enabling researchers to share the results and experiences. The present study aims to identify the features of SRNs for facilitating research practices from the perspective of medical sciences researchers and to study the reasons why they use these networks. Materials and Methods: This was a qualitative research that employed content analysis approach. The participants were 10 medical researchers who were active in ResearchGATE, and were selected through purposeful sampling. The selection criterion was their scores in ResearchGATE (RG). RG scores are allotted based on ations, questions, answers and followers. The data were gathered using semi-structured interviews, and then were thematized and presented in the form of a list; the list of SRNs' most important features for the field of medical sciences. Results: The findings of data analysis revealed eight features for SRN's: presenting themselves and identifying other researchers, communicating and collaborating with other researchers, sharing information, finding information, managing resources and citations, keeping the researcher up to date, rating, and setting the network. Conclusion: Due to the importance and role of SRNs in communication and collaboration between researchers and their scientific production management, introduction of features identified in this study can enhance these SNSs' efficiency and effectiveness. Information science professionals can use the findings of this research to design educational workshops on "Familiarity with the features of SNSs for researchers" as a new information service in libraries.
