An overview of Russian literature sources of urban flora studies. The authors analyze the history of urban floral research in Russia and provide definitions of terms - urban flora, native, indigenous, apophytic, alien, synanthropic species. The overview provides a description of methods and approaches used in different studies of urban flora. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the biological diversity of native and alien plants and the features of their spatial distribution in urban habitats. The authors raise problems of protection of biodiversity in cities and show the role of urban protected natural areas. The conclusion of the work outlines the prospects for further study of urban flora. The authors highlight an importance and necessity of creation of a unified database of vascular plants in the urbanized territories of Russia. Further usage of the database will allow to conduct a comparative analysis of the species composition of urban flora and to identify the degree of their homogenization and originality. © 2021 Altai State University. In the Udmurt Republic scientific researches on creation of a network of especially protected natural territories are carried out. The studies were conducted in 2005 and 2011, 2016, was carried out additional studies of natural reserves. It has been found that 123 rare species of vascular plants (90,5 % of the total number) are currently growing in the natural area for conservation. Other rare species, such as Cystopteris montana (Lam.) Desv., Cardamine macrophylla Willd. and others were not included in the scheme. On the territory of the national park «Nechkinskiy» there is the largest number of rare plants listed in the Red book of the Udmurt Republic – 40. In the natural area for conservation in most administrative regions of the Udmurt Republic is protected from 30 to 75 % of rare species. As a result of scientific research, a representative network of natural area for conservation in the Udmurt Republic was created.

Флористика относится к биологическим наукам, которые в России постоянно развиваются и совершенствуются как в плане разработки методов её исследования, так и подходов к различным видам анализа – таксономическому, экологическому, географическому, флорогенетическому и другим. Целью данной статьи является показать огромный вклад в развитие флористики одного из ведущих флористов России – Рудольфа Владимировича Камелина. В статье приводятся его воззрения на флору как объект исследования, разработанные им методы исследования и виды анализа флор. Особенно большой вклад Р. В. Камелин внес в решение проблем, связанных с флорогенезом высокогорных территорий и флористическим районированием. Им дано определение понятия «флора» и показано его место как подсистемы биоты. Р. В. Камелин подчеркивал, что становление и преобразование биоты на определенных территориях идет совместно, поэтому необходимо комплексное её изучение. Им введено понятие «принципа недонасыщенности флор (и биот)» и дано объяснение его причин. Дано понятие элементарной естественной флоры, которое должно быть использовано для проведения флористического районирования. Обоснована необходимость применения при районировании двух групп признаков, которые будут использоваться на разных иерархических уровнях системы районирования. При районировании небольших и часто достаточно бедных во флористическом отношении территорий критериями для определения границ может служить сравнительный анализ видового состава флор (таксономический, географический, экологический и фитоценотический), как качественный, так и количественный. По мнению Р. В. Камелина, для богатых флор и крупных флористических подразделений главным является оригинальность состава флоры (уровень эндемизма). Р. В. Камелиным разработаны и предложены хориономический и стадиальный анализы флор, Floristics is referred to the biological sciences, which are constantly evolving and improving both in terms of development methods of study and approaches to different types of analysis – taxonomic, ecological, geographical, florogenetic and other. The purpose of this article is to show the huge contribution of one of the leading florists of Russia – Rudolf Vladimirovich Кamelin to the development of floristry. The article presents his views on the flora as the research object, the research methods and analyses of flora. R. V. Kamelin made a particularly large contribution to the development of problems associated with the florogenesis of the mountainous areas and floristic zoning. He gave the definition of “flora” term and showed its place as a subsystem of the biota. R. V. Kamelin emphasized that the formation and transformation of biota in certain areas went together, so you need a comprehensive study. He introduced the concept of “the principle of undersaturation of flora (and biota)” and the explanation of its causes, the basic concept of the natural flora that should be used for floristic zoning. He proved the necessity of application of two groups of signs to be used on different hierarchical levels of zoning. When zoning is small and often quite poor in floristic territories, the criteria for determining boundaries can serve as a comparative analysis of the species composition of floras (taxonomic, geographical, ecological and florogenetic), both qualitative and quantitative. In R. V. Kamelin opinion, for rich floras and major floristic units an originality of the composition of the flora (level of endemism) is the main thing. R. V.
