This study assesses present-day extreme climate changes over China by using a set of phase 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6) statistical downscaled data and raw models outputs. The downscaled data is produced by the adapted spatial disaggregation and equal distance cumulative distribution function (EDCDF) method at the resolution of 0.25° × 0.25° for the present day (1961–2014) and the future period (2015–2100) under the Shared Socioeconomic Path-way (SSP) 2-4.5 than SSP5-8.5 emission scenario. The results show that the downscaling method improves the spatial distributions of extreme climate events in China with higher spatial pattern correlations, Taylor Skill Scores and closer magnitudes no matter single model or multi model ensemble (MME). In the future projections, large inter-model variability between the downscaled models still exists, particular for maximum consecutive 5-day precipitation (RX5). The downscaled MME projects that total precipitation (PTOT) and RX5, will increase with time, especially for the northwest China. The projected heavy precipitation days (R20) also increase in the future. The region of significant increase in R20 locates in the south of river Yangtze. Maxi-mum annual temperature (TXX) and percentage of warm days (TX90p) are projected to increase across the whole country with larger magnitude over the west China. Projected changes of minimum annual temperature (TNN) over the northeastern China is the most significant area. The higher of the emission scenario, the more significant of extreme climates. This reveals that the spatial distribution of extreme climate events will become more uneven in the future.

One case of epidermal granuloma of the right thumb was diagnosed by color Doppler ultrasonography and pathologic examination. Epidermal granuloma resection and reverse island skin flap transplantation were performed to determine the therapeutic effect of a reverse first dorsal metacarpal artery flap repair of an epidermal granuloma of the right thumb. After effective intravenous combined general anesthesia, the skin in the surgical field was disinfected and sterile drapes were placed. An oblique incision was made over the underlying epidermis granuloma. The right palm of the reverse first dorsal metacarpal artery flap was chosen. The pedicle was carefully protected, and the flap was transplanted to the defective skin area. The incision was sutured after hemostasis. A palpable mass with the dimension of the right thumb of the patient was measured by color Doppler ultrasonography and physical examination pre-operatively. The palpable mass was oval in shape and protruded from the skin surface. The palpable mass had an unclear boundary with the surrounding skin and therefore the skin should be removed. If the tendon is exposed after the resection, complications may occur after operation, such as skin necrosis and tendon exposure. Intra-operatively, the mass was 1.5×1.0 cm in size and multi-cystic. The boundary between the palpable mass and the surrounding skin could not be discerned. The skin area (1.5×1.0 cm in size) was completely invaded by the palpable mass, which was closely adhered to the surrounding tissue. The palpable mass was carefully dissected with appropriate protection to the finger nerves and arteries. The palpable mass and affected skin were completely removed, leaving a defect area of ~1.5 ×1.0 cm without skin. The reverse first dorsal metacarpal artery flap was used to repair the defect area. The repaired flap had a good blood supply and peripheral circulation. The operation was successful, and the anesthesia effect was satisfactory. Treatment of a thumb epidermis granuloma with reverse first dorsal metacarpal artery flap was shown to be a feasible strategy with a broad clinical application.

A comprehensive pretreatment system was developed to simultaneously extract and purify 120 veterinary antibiotics, possessing various physicochemical properties in eight categories. This system was coupled with ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) for the detection of the antibiotics. The samples were dissolved and dispersed by a Na2 EDTA-Mcllvaine buffer, extracted with acetonitrile containing 1.5% (v/v) formic acid, and cleaned using an Oasis PRiME HLB SPE system followed by n-hexane liquid purification. The separation of residue targets was performed on an Atlantis® T3 column (100 mm×2.1 mm, 3 μm) with a gradient elution of 0.1% (v/v) formic acid aqueous solution and acetonitrile as mobile phases and detected by UPLC-MS/MS with the multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode via ESI+ ionization. The pH of the extraction solvent and the purification method were optimized to promote the target recoveries. All targets showed good linear ranges from 1.0 to 50.0 μg/L, while all their correlation coefficients (r2) were higher than 0.9953, including r2 values of 89 targets being over 0.9990. The limits of quantification (LOQs) of seven targets were 10.0 μg/kg; 21 targets, 5.0 μg/kg; and the remaining 92 targets, not higher than 2.0 μg/kg. The average recoveries on three spiked levels (low, medium, and high) for all targets ranged from 71.5%-109.2%, with RSD ranging from 0.6%-15.3%. The combined system, exhibiting satisfying recovery and stable repeatability, can be suitably employed for the simultaneous determination of multiple veterinary antibiotics in animal-derived meat products.

In this study, the effect of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) additive on the dehydriding properties of the Zn(BH4)2/NaCl composite prepared by high energy ball milling were investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) results demonstrated that Zn(BH4)2 was produced from mechanochemical reaction between ZnCl2 and NaBH4. Compared with the undoped sample, 10 wt% MWCNTs effectively lowered the decomposition temperature of Zn(BH4)2 by 15 °C. The complex released 3.6 wt% hydrogen within 250 s at 100 °C and totally released 4.5 wt% hydrogen within 2500 s, indicating it has a considerable potential as a hydrogen storage material.

Metal borohydrides have received increasing research interests on account of their high hydrogen storage capacities. In this paper, zinc borohydride Zn(BH4)2 was synthesized using NaBH4 and ZnCl2 in THF under room temperature for 72 h, and the crystallographic constitution of the synthesized products were analyzed by XRD. The results showed that the major phase of the products was NaCl, alternatively, NaBH4 or ZnCl2 disappeared. This concluded the formation of Zn(BH4)2. Moreover, both experiment phenomena and fired products further confirmed the synthesis of Zn(BH4)2, which a XRD pattern of Zinc borohydride was obtained.
