Abstract

Conductive fillers‐embedded plastic polymer hybrid composites are crucial electronic materials in modern technologies owing to their tunable conductive properties, low density, and corrosion resistance. However, the application of traditional rigid inorganic conductive fillers‐embedded plastic composites is constrained by their subpar electrical conductivity and mechanical properties. Consequently, liquid metals (LMs) including gallium and gallium‐based alloys, have recently emerged as the preferred conductive flexible fillers over traditional rigid fillers. This work employs a solvent evaporation method and phase separation‐induced conductivity mechanism. The resulting flexible and electrically conductive LM‐polycarbonate (PC) film circuits demonstrate ultrahigh metallic conductivity, robust mechanical performance, excellent solvent recyclability, and notable processability. The fluidic nature of LMs and the superior mechanical properties of the PC polymer confer high electrical stability and durability to the LM‐PC film circuits under diverse mechanical forces and environmental conditions. The LM‐PC film circuits are exceedingly promising and apt for use as flexible conductors in contemporary electrical applications, including electricity transmission and underwater working. Abstract

We developed a Prussian blue@Au nanoparticles/SiO2-cavities/indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode for a novel non-enzymatic hydrogen peroxide detection. The ordered SiO2 cavities were fabricated on the ITO electrode using the close-packed ordered polystyrene spheres (PS) as templates. The PB@Au nanoparticles were prepared using a two-step process in which gold nanoparticles were deposited at the bottom of the SiO2 cavity by electrochemical methods, while Prussian blue was introduced into the AuNP surface by chemical deposition. The submicron-sized conductive region and the domain-limiting effect of the insulating SiO2 cavity give the electrode the characteristics of a microelectrode, enabling it to exhibit unique electrochemical properties during the electrochemical reduction of H2O2. The proposed PB@Au/SiO2 cavity/ITO electrode was further used for detecting H2O2 with a wide linearity range of 0.08–8 mM and a low detection limit of 0.3 μM. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

33. Developing versatile dendrimer host materials for solution-processed phosphorescence, TADF and multi-resonance narrow-band OLEDs.

Abstract

The host material is crucial for significantly enhancing the performance of solution-processed OLEDs. Herein, two diphenyl-sulfone based dendrimers with highly branched spherical geometry are developed as versatile solution-processible hosts for phosphorescence, thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF), and multi-resonance narrow-band emitters. The paddle-like twisted configuration endows the host with a small singlet and triplet splitting (ΔEST) of 0.20 eV and high triplet energy of up to 2.9 eV, which can be qualified for most of the color gamut of solution-processible emitters. In addition, both hosts also exhibit clear AIE properties in the molecular packaging state, promotes the utilization of excitons and efficient energy transfer to guest materials. By using 4Cz-SO as the host, phosphorescent OLEDs achieved the maximum external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 13.7% and 14.5% for blue and white devices, respectively. Moreover, such dendrimers can also be an efficient good host for TADF and multi-resonance narrow-band emitters, both of which achieved a better device efficiency and a small efficiency roll-off than the classical solution-processed host PVK.
