Abstract

New technology, such as mobile phones and smart devices, has sparked the creation of new methods of learning. They are integrated into modern e-learning systems due to their rising popularity. E-learning and mobile learning provide students with more options for learning without any limitations. Today, many students are adapted to these new technologies as long as they have inherited a naturally tech-savy mindset. We use survey data to explore students and teachers’ interest in e-learning and mobile learning. This survey will help us discover the real value of these subjects in Moroccan higher education. Once we have collected our survey responses, we will be able to determine whether our study has had an impact on the students and teachers par- ticipation in these new forms of learning. At the end of the topic, all the answers and the statistics (quantitative and qualitative) that we have collected from our students and teachers’ opinions about this study will be shown, analyzed, and discussed.

Abstract

The combination of multi-antenna systems (MIMO) with multicarrier modulation techniques like orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is seen as a promising solution for increasing the capacity of wireless communication systems and for resisting multipath phenomena. MIMO-OFDM provides a powerful system to be adopted by newmultimedia applications and can be incorporated in various wireless communication standards. The digital audio broadcasting (DAB), digital video broadcasting (DVB),HIPERLAN/2, IEEE 802.16e, and LTE telecommunication systems are a few of the application areas of MIMO-OFDM. However, MIMO-OFDM system suffers from the worst problem in multicarrier modulation, its high peak to average power ratio (PAPR). This paper aims to present and analyze PAPR reduction based on probabilistic methods and new optimization algorithms. These techniques have been developed in order to find a transmitted signal with minimum PAPR out and low computational loads, satisfying the new communication systems constraints. Simulation results confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed method in SISO-OFDM and then MIMO-OFDM contexts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Recently, the intelligent traffic control system and its uncertainty analysis are considered one of the hot spots for utilizing the available techniques. It became more essential when the automatic car, electric vehicle, and other smart cars have introduced the transportation. To control the traffic accident and smooth road services an intelligent traffic control system required. It will be also useful in decreasing the time, reaction time, and efficiency of traffic. However, the problem arises while characterization of true, false or uncertain regions of traffic flow and its future approximation. To deal with this issue some available mathematical technique for traffic flow using rough set, fuzzy rough set, and its extension with the neutrosophic set is discussed in this paper. Some of the papers related to graphical visualization of traffic flow is also discussed for further improvement. The rough set theory can be useful for dealing the uncertain, incomplete, and indeterminate data set. Hence, the hybridization of the neutrosophic set and rough can be considered one of the efficient tools for intelligent traffic control and its approximation via automatic red, green and yellow lights. This paper tried to provide an overview of each available technique to solve the traffic problem.
