In the present study, chitosan Schiff base has been prepared from chitosan reaction with the para chloro benzaldehyde. The AuNPs and AgNPs were manufacture by extract of onion peels as a reducing agent. The AuNPs and AgNPs that have been synthesized were characterized through UV-vis spectroscopy the XRD analyses and SEM microscopy. The polymer blends of the chitosan / PEG has been prepared through using the approach of solution casting. Chitosan Schiff base / PEG Au and Ag nano-composites were synthesized nano composites and polymer blends have been characterized by FTIR which confirm the formation of Schiff base by revealing a new band of absorption at 1693 cm-1 as a result of the (C=N) imine group. FESEM, DSC and TGA confirms the thermal stability of the prepared polymer blends and nanocomposites, nano composites have shown good results in inhibiting breast cancer cell line MCF-7, IC50 of nanocomposite = 19.44 µg / mL.

The polymer blends of the chitosan Schiff base / PVP has been prepared through using the approach of solution casting. Chitosan Schiff base / PVP Au nano-composites was prepared. Nano composites and polymer blends have been characterized by FTIR which confirm the formation of Schiff base by revealing a new band of absorption at 1651cm-1 as a result of the (C=N) imine group. SEM, DSC and TGA confirms the thermal stability of the prepared polymer blends and nanocomposites, nano composites have shown good results in inhibiting esophageal cancer cell lines, IC50 of nanocomposite = 21.56 µg / mL.

In this work, magnesium aluminate spinel (MA) (MgO 28 wt%, Al2O3 72 wt%) stoichiometric compound , were synthesized via solid state reaction (SSR) Single firing stage, and the impact of sintering on the physical properties and thermal properties as well as the fine structure and morphology of the ceramic product were examined. The Spinel samples were pressed at of (14 MPa) and sintering soaking time (2h). The effect of adding oxide titania (TiO2) was studied. The obtained powders were calcined at a temperature range of 1200 and 1400 °C. The calcined samples spinel were characterized by XRD, it showed the presence of developed spinel phase end also showed that the best catalyst is titania. The SEM image showed the high sintering temperature increased the regularity of the grain growth, as well as minutes from the acquisition of the spherical shape of the minutes spinel.

However, whether it results in a favorable effect on colonoscopy outcomes and performance compared to standard sedation with benzodiazepines/opiates remains unclear.Objectives: To determine the effect of propofol-mediated sedation on colonoscopy-quality measures compared to traditional sedation.Methods: A large cohort of 44,794 patients who had undergone sedated colonoscopies were included. Colonoscopy-quality indicators were examined in benzodiazepine/opiate-sedated patients and compared with a propofol-mediated sedation group. Boerhaave syndrome refers to a spontaneous perforation of the esophagus that results from severe straining or vomiting. This uncommon situation may lead to serious outcome with chemical mediastinitis, and is associated with high morbidity and mortality. Surgery, although associated with high morbidity and mortality remains the treatment of choice, whereas endoscopic management with stent placement is preserved to treat inoperable patients. Removal of the stent is generally recommended after 4-6 weeks. We report a case of an elderly patient who presented with a large complicated Boerhaave's mid-esophageal perforation, with a complete recovery after a 3-month treatment with a long esophageal stent. Women frequently experience sleep disturbances, particularly night-time awakenings, as they transition menopause and enter postmenopause. Sleep is essential for optimal functioning and health. Persistent and distressing sleep disturbances across menopause can negatively impact daytime functioning and productivity, and increase risk for mental and physical health conditions. While multiple factors can disturb sleep, two unique factors in the context of menopause are vasomotor symptoms and the changing reproductive hormone environment. Vasomotor symptoms are associated with sleep disturbances and contribute significantly to awakenings and amount of time spent awake during the night. Even after accounting for vasomotor and depressive symptoms, lower estradiol and higher follicle stimulating hormone levels, indicative of menopause, are associated with sleep disturbance, particularly awakenings, suggesting that the hormone environment may directly affect sleep. Management strategies for clinically significant menopausal sleep disturbances include cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia, which is effective and durable in treating menopausal insomnia. Hormone therapy alleviates sleep disturbances, particularly in the presence of disruptive vasomotor symptoms. Sleep disturbances have a significant impact on women's functioning and health, and there is a need for further research of the underlying mechanisms to advance effective preventative and treatment strategies that ensure optimal health and well-being of midlife women.
