Mit Blick auf die Kriminalstatistiken der letzten Jahre ist zu erkennen, dass im Bereich der Wirtschaftskriminalität ein Anstieg zu verzeichnen ist. Gewinn- und nichtgewinn- orientierte Organisationen sind bemüht geeignete Maßnahmen zum Schutz der Wirtschaft neu zu entwickeln oder bestehende Strategien anzupassen. Eine einseitige Beurteilung von Risiken vernachlässigt systemische Zusammenhänge und kann in weiterer Folge Konsequenzen für das gesamte System Organisation mit sich bringen. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es zu klären, ob die Methode der SySt® als Ergänzung zu bereits etablierten Prozessen Auswirkungen im Bereich der Identifikation, Analyse und Bewertung von Chancen hat. Zur Erreichung dieses Forschungszieles wurde nachfolgende Forschungsfrage formuliert. Welche Auswirkungen hat die systemische Simulation und Modellierung eines Zielsystems am Modell der Systemischen Strukturaufstellung nach Mathias Varga von Kibéd für die Beurteilung von Chancen einer Organisation im Bereich des Wirtschaftsschutzes? Zu Beginn dieser Arbeit wird der bereits weit verbreitete Risikomanagementprozess der die Identifikation, Analyse und Bewertung von Risiken beschreibt dargestellt inklusive der Anforderungen, welche an die unterschiedlichen Prozessschritte gestellt werden. Ergänzend dazu wird die Funktionsweise und mögliche Varianten der SySt® vorgestellt. Bei den Varianten der SySt® wir vor allem auf jene eingegangen die im Bereich des Wirtschaftsschutz anwendbar erscheinen. Um die Auswirkungen der Methode der SySt® im Realitätsbezug überprüfen zu können wurden im Rahmen des empirischen Teils teilstandardisierte Interviews, mit Experten aus verschiedenen Organisationen die sich mit dem Wirtschaftsschutz befassen, vor einer SySt® durchgeführt. Durch einen ausgewiesenen und zertifizierten Fachexperten im Bereich der SySt® wurde für den individuellen Themenbereich des interviewten Experten eine SySt® durchgeführt. Nach Abschluss der SySt® wurde erneut ein teilstandardisiertes Interview durchgeführt, um die Auswirkungen erheben zu können. Durch die Analyse und Auswertung der Ergebnisse konnte die Forschungsfrage beantwortet sowie Hypothesen verifiziert bzw. falsifiziert werden. Auf Basis der gewonnen Erkenntnisse konnte festgestellt werden, dass sich die systemische Simulation und Modellierung eines Zielsystems am Modell der Systemischen Strukturaufstellung nach Mathias Varga von Kibéd positiv für die Identifikation, Analyse und Bewertung von Chancen einer Organisation im Bereich des Wirtschaftsschutzes auswirkt. Looking at the crime statistics of the last few years, there has been an increase in white-collar crime. For-profit and non-profit organizations are trying to develop suitable measures to protect the economy or to adapt existing strategies. A one-sided assessment of risks neglects systemic connections and can subsequently have consequences for the entire system organization. The aim of this work is to clarify whether the SySt® method as a supplement to already established processes has an impact in the area of identification, analysis and evaluation of opportunities, which subsequently led to the research question: What are the effects of the systemic simulation and modeling of a target system on the model of the systemic structure constellation according to Mathias Varga von Kibéd for the assessment of an organization's chances in the field of economic protection? At the beginning of this work, the already widespread risk management process that describes the identification, analysis and evaluation of risks is presented, including the requirements that are placed on the different process steps. In addition, the functionality and possible variants of the SySt® are presented. In the case of the variants of the SySt®, the author primarily deals with the variants that appear to be applicable in the area of economic protection. In order to be able to check the effects of the SySt® method in relation to reality, semi-standardized interviews with experts from various organizations dealing with economic protection were carried out before a SySt® as part of the empirical part. A SySt® was carried out by a proven and certified specialist in the field of SySt® for the individual subject area of the interviewed expert. After completion of the SySt®, a partially standardized interview was carried out again to be able to ascertain the effects. By analyzing and evaluating the results, the research question could be answered and hypotheses verified or falsified. Based on the knowledge gained, it could be determined that the systemic simulation and modeling of a target system on the model of the systemic structure constellation according to Mathias Varga von Kibéd has a positive effect for the identification, analysis and evaluation of an organization's opportunities in the field of economic protection.
