Background: Snakebites prevalent globally, pose a severe threat, especially in resource-limited regions. The impact is substantial, affecting millions annually, with a significant number of fatalities. Case: A 37-year-old man experienced deterioration leading to cardiac arrest after being bitten by a Naja Kaouthia snake. Adequate management in the intensive care unit (ICU), including antivenom administration, restored the patient's condition to return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC). Discussion: Snake venom causes various symptoms, from tissue damage to breathing and heart issues. Treating with antivenom, specifically from horses, can neutralize the venom's effects, as shown in studies. This treatment is effective for Naja Kaouthia bite. Conclusion: Quick treatment with antivenom partially neutralized the venom, showing how important antivenom is for treating snakebites.

Latar Belakang: Anestesi epidural adalah teknik blok neuraksial. Nyeri selama penyuntikan merupakan komplikasi anestesi epidural yang memerlukan pengelolaan efektif. Krim estesia (campuran eutektik lignokain/prilokain 5%) merupakan alternatif noninvasif yang potensial untuk menginduksi analgesia. Namun, belum ada studi khusus yang membandingkan efektivitas krim estesia dengan infiltrasi lidokain dalam konteks anestesi epidural. Tujuan: Membandingkan efektivitas krim estesia dan infiltrasi lidokain 2% dengan krim placebo dan infiltrasi lidokain 2% dalam mengurangi nyeri selama penyuntikan epidural. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah uji acak terkontrol (RCT) ganda buta dengan desain paralel. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Moewardi Surakarta (RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta) dari Juli hingga Desember 2020. Total sampel 50 subjek, dibagi menjadi dua kelompok sama besar: kelompok lidokain 2% dan krim estesia (EMLA), serta kelompok lidokain 2% dan krim placebo. Efektivitas anestesi dievaluasi berdasarkan absennya nyeri selama penyuntikan epidural dengan menggunakan skala rating numerik (NRS). Perbedaan nilai rata-rata NRS, yang merupakan variabel numerik, dievaluasi dengan menggunakan uji T tidak berpasangan atau uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil: Hasil didapatkan 26 (52,0%) adalah perempuan, dan 24 (48,0%) adalah laki-laki. Rata-rata usia adalah 42,36±13,03. Skor nyeri secara keseluruhan memiliki rata-rata 1,92±0,92 (skor terendah vs tertinggi; 1,00 vs 4,00). Subjek yang menerima krim estesia 60 menit sebelum insersi epidural dan infiltrasi lidokain 2% melaporkan skor nyeri yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan yang menerima krim placebo dan infiltrasi lidokain 2%. Penerapan plester estesia juga mengarah pada penurunan kecemasan pasien terkait nyeri selama prosedur anestesi spinal. Tidak ada efek samping yang diamati dari penggunaan anestesi topikal dengan krim estesia, krim placebo, atau infiltrasi lidokain 2%. Kesimpulan: Menggabungkan krim estesia dengan infiltrasi lidokain 2% dapat secara efektif mengurangi nyeri selama penyuntikan jarum anestesi epidural.

In dynamic socio-economic environments, public sector organizations and companies with strong financial resilience are better equipped to adapt to economic changes, socio-economic fluctuations, and shifts in the business landscape with greater flexibility. Financial resilience also has implications for an organization's liquidity. One of the critical factors influencing financial resilience in public sector organizations is the quality of its audit. Ensuring high-quality audits is vital for assessing the accuracy and reliability of an organization's financial statements. This study aims to investigate the impact of audit quality and internal control on financial security, with information quality serving as a mediating factor. Quantitative research methods were employed to collect and statistically analyze the data. The study gathered information through questionnaires distributed to the Auditors of the Supreme Audit Board, with a sample size of 321 participants. The data was then processed using SmartPLS software. The research findings demonstrate a significant relationship between audit quality and internal control, positively influencing the organization’s financial resilience. Furthermore, the study reveals that information quality acts as a crucial mediator, linking audit quality and internal control to financial security. The analysis shows that audit quality significantly affects information quality. However, the direct impact of audit quality on financial resilience is not significant. On the other hand, internal control significantly influences both information quality and the organization’s financial resilience. Additionally, the quality of information also has a significant effect on the organization’s financial resilience.

Sweet potato is a source of carbohydrates which is an alternative food in order to accelerate food diversification. This is due to the high productivity of sweet potato so it is very profitable to cultivate. Sweet potato has many varieties, one of the differences is observed based on leaf shape which has four kinds of leaf shape, namely cordate, lobed, triangular and almost divided. The problem that often occurs is that many varieties have similarities, causing difficulties in distinguishing sweet potato varieties, especially for novice farmers. To overcome this problem, the researchers created a digital encyclopedia of sweet potato varieties based on leaf shape using computer vision. The parameters used are area, perimeter, metric, length, diameter, ASM, IDM, entropy, contrast and correlation at angles of 0 °, 45 °, 90 ° and 135 °. The amount of data used is 256 training data and 40 testing data. The K-Nearest Neighbor method is able to classify sweet potato leaf images for digital encyclopedias with an accuracy of 95% with variations in the values of K = 23 and K = 25.

Kecelakaan industri adalah kejadian kecelakaan yang terjadi di tempat kerja khususnya di lingkungan industri. Faktor yang paling utama timbulnya kecelakaan kerja adalah faktor peralatan teknis, lingkungan kerja, dan pekerja itu sendiri. Pencahayaan yang kurang dalam menerangi pekerja saat memakai mesin bisa menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja saat proses produksi berjalan. Selain itu kondisi yang panas juga bisa menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja karena suhu yang panas membuat tubuh tidak nyaman dalam bekerja, mengurangi kelincahan, mengganggu kecermatan otak, serta memudahkan emosi sehingga pekerja tidak dapat berkonsentrasi dan dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat sistem yang dapat mendeteksi suhu, asap, dan cahaya pada lingkungan industri berbasis GSM. Sistem ini dapat membantu mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan industri dengan cara mendapatkan informasi mengenai kondisi lingkungan industri bagi para pekerja berupa SMS. Sensor suhu, asap, dan cahaya akan mengirimkan informasi berupa SMS apabila masing-masing sensor melebihi nilai batas ambang yang telah ditentukan dalam program. Pengiriman informasi dilakukan menggunakan 3 provider berbeda, yaitu Three, Indosat, dan Telkomsel dengan membandingkan besarnya delay. Hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketiga sensor dapat bekerja dengan baik. Sensor suhu dapat mendeteksi suhu dengan nilai rata-rata error 0,03%. Sensor asap dapat mendeteksi asap dengan nilai rata-rata 0%. Provider Three dapat mengirimkan informasi dengan rata-rata delay yang kecil, yaitu 1,46s. Provider Indosat dapat mengirimkan informasi dengan rata-rata delay sebesar 3,68s. Provider Telkomsel dapat mengirimkan informasi dengan rata-rata delay sebesar 1,52s.

This research aims to determine the differences and influence of independent learning on communication and collaboration skills. This research uses survey methods and a quantitative descriptive approach. Data was obtained using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research subjects using random sampling techniques consisted of 33 female students and 82 female students in the Islamic religious education study program at UIN Datokarama Palu, Indonesia. The questionnaire contains 18 statements: 10 indicators of learning independence (LII), 3 indicators of communication skills (COM) and 5 indicators of collaboration skills (CLB). According to the results of data analysis using the Winsteps (Rasch model), male students have the best collaborative skills while female students are better at autonomous learning and the capacity to listen to information is the COM that is hardest to obtain. After applying one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), a statistical significance of sig<0.05 was found indicating that male and female students exhibited distinct skillsets in the post hoc Games-Howell type follow-up test. The results show that for male and female students, learning independence is more dominant than communication and collaboration skills. The distinction lies in the fact that female students prefer communication skills while male students prefer collaboration skills. Further results obtained through the general linear model (GLM) test show that independent learning has an effect on communication skills (96.8%) and collaboration skills (93%). Finally, it can be stated that there is a positive relationship between learning independence and communication and collaboration skills.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, (1) tingkat penggunaan internet mahasiswa untuk belajar mahasiswa, (2) tingkat pelayanan administrasi bagi mahasiswa, (3) tingkat minat mahasiswa, (4) tingkat motivasi belajar mahasiswa, (5) tingkat prestasi belajar mahasiswa dan mengetahui (6) hubungan antara penggunaan jaringan internet dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa (7) pelayanan administrasi dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa, (8) minat mahasiswa dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa, (9) motivasi belajar mahasiswa dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa, (10) penggunaan internet, layanan administrasi, minat mahasiswa, dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu (1) pengunaan internet oleh mahasiswa termasuk dalam tingkat ‘tinggi’, (2) pelayanan administratif termasuk dalam tingkat ‘tinggi’ (3) minat mahasiswa termasuk dalam tingkat ‘tinggi’, (4) motivasi belajar mahasiswa termasuk dalam tingkat ‘tinggi’, (5) prestasi belajar mahasiswa dalam tingkat ‘sangat tinggi’, (6) tidak terdapat hubungan penggunaan jaringan internet dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa, (7) tidak terdapat hubungan pelayanan administrasi dengan prestasi mahasiswa secara signifikan, (8) terdapat hubungan minat mahasiswa dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa secara signifikan, (9) tidak terdapat hubungan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa, (10) terdapat hubungan penggunaan internet, layanan administrasi, minat mahasiswa, motivasi belajar mahasiswa dengan prestasi mahasiswa.

The current learning paradigm is oriented to the XXI century learning and the development of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution. It is relevant to the emergence of the COVID-19 outbreak and the new normal era where the learning is held online. Conducting online learning needs a good readiness from educational institutions, teaching, e-learning quality, infrastructure, and many more to support the online learning implementation. The significance of this study was to analyze the needs for indicators of online learning instruments, to know the weakness and the strength levels of each required indicator as well as the accuracy of instruments for online learning assessment conducted later. This study aimed to analyze the needs assessment for the online learning program during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was carried out by conducting a survey. A total of 128 samples were selected for this study consisted of 115 students and 13 lecturers from 6 study programs in the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang. The data collection instrument was questionnaire adapted from Al-Shagran (2017), the need analysis of the evaluation of online learning programs. Data analysis was conducted descriptively. The result showed that the required indicators for assessment started from the design of the e-learning management system technology provider and then followed by teaching staff.
