تسعى الدولة الي حوکمة العمران في مصر وذلک من خلال إصدار العديد من القوانين والتشريعات التخطيطية لرفع کفاءة التجمعات العمرانية، وتعتبر التعديلات المقترح تنفيذها على بنود قانون البناء الموحد من أهم التشريعات القانونية محل الدراسة في وقتنا الحالي. تتناول الدراسة تحليل وتقييم الأثر البيئي جراء تطبيق التعديلات المقترحة على متوسط الطاقة المستهلکة بالوحدات السکنية سواء بالسلب أو الإيجاب، مع ذکر خاص لمدى توافق تلک التعديلات مع التوصيات المقترحة بأکواد البناء المصري المعنية بالنواحي البيئية للمباني السکنية، بالاضافة الي بعض التعديلات المقترحة والتي يوصي البحث بضرورة ضمها الي قانون البناء الموحد. منهجية البحث: يتبع البحث المنهج الاستقرائي من خلال دراسة القوانين والمعايير الحاکمة لتصميم الوحدات السکنية والتي تشمل قانون البناء الموحد رقم 119 لسنة 2008 والضوابط والاشتراطات التخطيطية والبنائية للمدن المصرية 2020, والکود المصري لتحسين کفاءة استخدام الطاقة في المباني, بالاضافة الي الکود المصري للتهوية في المباني. ثم المنهج التطبقي وذلک من خلال اقتراح النموذج السکني للدراسة التطبيقية واستخدام برامج المحاکاة البيئية (designbuilder and energy plus) لقياس تاثير المتغيرات التصميمية المقترحة (ارتفاع المبنى والمسافات البينية بين المباني المتقابلة, والبروزات الخارجية, وطبقات الغلاف الخارجي المصمت, وأبعاد ونسب الفتحات الخارجية, والمناور السکنية الداخلية) علي استهلاک الطاقة بالمبني السکني. هذا وتشير نتائج الدراسة البحثية إلى أن تعديلات قانون البناء الموحد بمنظومة الاشتراطات الجديده2020 ذات تأثير ايجابي في زيادة الوفر في الطاقة المستهلکة للوحدات السکنية عن مثيلاتها في حال تطبيق قانون البناء الموحد لمقدار التوفير في الطاقة المستهلکة بمعدل 4% للمناور السکنية وبنسبة تتراوح ما بين 14 : 17% للبروزات ومن 12 : 16% لتأثير عرض الطريق وعلاقته بارتفاع المبني. Egypt seeks to govern urbanization by issuing many planning laws to increase the efficiency of urban communities. The proposed amendments to the Building Law are considered one of the most important legal studies during these days. The research focuses on analyzing and evaluating the environmental impact of applying amendments on the average energy consumption in residential buildings, whether negatively or positively. In addition to some proposed amendments, which the research recommends be included in the amendments. Research Methodology depends on the inductive approach by studying the laws for the housing unit’s design, which include the Building Law No. 119 of 2008, the planning and building requirements for Egyptian cities 2020, the Egyptian Code for Energy in Buildings, and the Egyptian code for ventilation in buildings. The second part depends on the applied approach by proposing the residential model for the applied study and using the environmental simulation programs (design builder and energy plus) to measure the effectiveness of the proposed design variables (building height, distances between opposite buildings, external shades, components of the building's external envelope, openings and courtyard) on the energy consumption of the residential building. The results of the study indicate that the modification of the building law with the new requirements (2020) has a positive effect on the building's energy saving compared to the case of applying the building law. The modifications achieve 4% in energy savings for the courtyard, 14:17 % for the cantilevers, and 12:16 % for the relationship between road width and the building height.

Software reliability growth models (SRGMs) are universally admitted and employed for reliability assessment. The process of software reliability analysis is separated into two components. The first component is model construction, and the second is parameter estimation. This study concentrates on the second segment parameter estimation. The past few decades of literature observance say that the parameter estimation was typically done by either maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) or least squares estimation (LSE). Increasing attention has been noted in stochastic optimization methods in the previous couple of decades. There are various limitations in the traditional optimization criteria; to overcome these obstacles metaheuristic optimization algorithms are used. Therefore, it requires a method of search space and local optima avoidance. To analyze the applicability of various developed meta-heuristic algorithms in SRGMs parameter estimation. The proposed approach compares the meta-heuristic methods for parameter estimation by various criteria. For parameter estimation, this study uses four meta-heuristics algorithms: Grey-Wolf Optimizer (GWO), Regenerative Genetic Algorithm (RGA), Sine-Cosine Algorithm (SCA), and Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA). Four popular SRGMs did the comparative analysis of the parameter estimation power of these four algorithms on three actual-failure datasets. The estimated value of parameters through meta-heuristic algorithms are approximately near the LSE method values. The results show that RGA and GWO are better on a variety of real-world failure data, and they have excellent parameter estimation potential. Based on the convergence and R2 distribution criteria, this study suggests that RGA and GWO are more appropriate for the parameter estimation of SRGMs. RGA could locate the optimal solution more correctly and faster than GWO and other optimization techniques. Formula Student (FS) competitions aim to prepare and encourage engineering students to participate in the progression of automotive and motorsport industries. The built racing cars adhere to strict regulations set by competition guidelines to ensure the safety of both teams and spectators. For electric racing cars, the high-voltage (HV) battery system usually operates within a voltage range between 100 V to 600 V to supply the motor and its controller with the required electrical power. It is essential to ensure that these components are operating effectively to minimize battery and motor current as well as to ensure efficient and reliable performance throughout the race. A low-voltage control system (LVCS), usually operating at 12 V, is used to coordinate a wide array of critical operational and safety functions to control the HV system. These functions include: (1) turning on/off procedures, (2) monitoring speed, voltage, and current, (3) interfacing with pedals, (4) controlling dashboard features, (5) managing lighting, (6) facilitating data communication, and (7) implementing safety protocols. The design and operation of the LVCS are crucial for compliance with safety regulations and enhancing the FS electric racing car (FSERC) performance. This details and discusses the design procedures of the LVCS, using the Lancaster E-Racing (LER) FSERC as a case study. The LER car employs a 400 V battery system to power a 68-kW permanent manet synchronous motor (PMSM) using a three-phase voltage source inverter. Using mathematical analysis, SIMULINK/MATLAB® computer simulations, and the experimental real-data results provided by the LER FSERC, this study seeks to offer valuable insights regarding the LVCS practical implementation and optimization. Gastrointestinal disorders are a class of prevalent disorders in the world. Capsule endoscopy is considered an effective diagnostic modality for diagnosing such gastrointestinal disorders, especially in small intestinal regions. The aim of this work is to leverage the potential of deep convolutional neural networks for automated classification of gastrointestinal abnormalities from capsule endoscopy images. This method developed a deep learning architecture, GastroNetV1, an automated classifier, to detect abnormalities in capsule endoscopy images. The gastrointestinal abnormalities considered are ulcerative colitis, polyps, and esophagitis. The curated dataset consists of 6000 images with "ground truth" labeling. The input image is automatically classified as ulcerative colitis, a polyp, esophagitis, or a normal condition by a web-based application designed with the trained algorithm. The classifier produced 99.2% validation accuracy, 99.3% specificity, 99.3% sensitivity, and 0.991 AUC. These results exceed that of the state-of-the-art systems. Hence, the GastroNetV1 could be used to identify the different gastrointestinal abnormalities in the capsule endoscopy images, which will, in turn, improve healthcare quality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Breast cancer is a medical condition characterized by the uncontrolled proliferation of cells in the breast tissue. Breast cancer can originate from various parts of the breast, and methods such as Breast ultrasound, Diagnostic mammogram, Breast magnetic resonance imaging, and Biopsy are currently used for its diagnosis. However, these methods have certain limitations, and their size can be a hindrance. To overcome this, low-power, flexible antennas can be designed for bio-communication between medical equipment and external instrumentation. Flexible and wearable antennas have advantages such as affordability, ease of fabrication, and high gain. In this article, a microstrip patch antenna operating at 2.45 GHz and made of polyamide material is designed using High Frequency Structure Simulator software. The simulation results show the patch antenna has a gain of 1, −14.81 dB return loss at 2.45 GHz based on |S11| ≤ −10 dB. The directive radiation pattern with axial ratio of 63.39 dB and voltage standing wave ratio ≤ 3. Furthermore, the hardware development of proposed antenna with polyamide substrate provides the resonance frequency nearing to simulation results as 2.318 GHz with return loss of −28.19 dB. Based on mathematical analysis, simulation and hardware results, the proposed antenna is a superior option for breast cancer detection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
