A measurement of the inclusive jet production in proton-proton collisions at the LHC at √s = 13 TeV is presented. The double-differential cross sections are measured as a function of the jet transverse momentum pT and the absolute jet rapidity |y|. The anti-kT clustering algorithm is used with distance parameter of 0.4 (0.7) in a phase space region with jet pT from 97 GeV up to 3.1 TeV and |y| < 2.0. Data collected with the CMS detector are used, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 36.3 fb−1 (33.5 fb−1). The measurement is used in a comprehensive QCD analysis at next-to-next-to-leading order, which results in significant improvement in the accuracy of the parton distributions in the proton. Simultaneously, the value of the strong coupling constant at the Z boson mass is extracted as αS(mZ) = 0.1170±0.0019. The evolution of research on business interactions is recollected and the need for a synopsis of findings is emphasized. A synopsis seems especially important for empirical research concerning buyer-seller interactions because of the multitude of empirical studies conducted in this area. Findings of 55 studies on vertical interactions between buyers and sellers with a focus on relationships across transaction episodes are presented. General conclusions, implications, and directions for future research are discussed.

Nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kappaB) is a critical transcription factor for the inducible expression of multiple genes involved in inflammation. NF-kappaB is sequestered in the cytoplasm by inhibitory IkappaB proteins. Extracellular stimuli, notably interleukin-1beta (IL-1beta) and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) activate NF-kappaB nuclear translocation via IkappaB phosphorylation and degradation. Since previous reports suggest that the short chain fatty acid butyrate has antiinflammatory properties, the effects of butyrate on NF-kappaB nuclear translocation in human epithelial cells (HeLa229) were tested. In cells pretreated with butyrate, a time- and dose-dependent inhibition of IL-1beta-mediated NF-kappaB nuclear translocation was observed. However, IkappaB alpha phosphorylation and degradation occurred rapidly in both butyrate pretreated and nonpretreated cells, respectively. These data indicate that inhibition of IL-1beta-induced NF-kappaB activation by butyrate does not require an intact IkappaB alpha protein. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

From the symmetry point of view, micas may be classified as follows: those with all three oc-tahedrally coordinated sites occupied by the same cation (homo-octahedral micas), those with only two of these sites occupied by the same cation (meso-octahedral micas), and those with the three sites occupied by different cations or by two different cations and a void, in an ordered manner (hetero-octahedral micas). For any of these three classes, mica polytypes, idealized in accordance with the generalized Pauling model, can be interpreted as OD structures consisting of octahedral OD layering and tetrahedral OD layering in which an interlayer cation plane is sandwiched between tetrahedral sheets. A mica layer built up by an octahedral sheet and two halves of tetrahedral sheets on either side consists of two OD packets linked by a two-fold rotation. The orientation of any OD packet may be given by a number from 0 to 5 (related to a hexagonal coordinate system). A dot behind or before these numbers is used to denote the position of the octahedral layer (number + dot = orientational character). The displacement of a packet against its predecessor is characterized by a vector from the origin of a packet pn(or qn-1) to the origin of the adjacent packet pn+1(or p2n). These displacements may also be symbolized by numbers from 0 to 5 (displacement characters); a zero displacement is symbolized by *. Any mica polytype (ordered or disordered) can thus be described by a two-line symbol. The orientational characters are located on the first line, and the displacement characters on the second. Any symbol, therefore denotes unequivocally the stacking layers in a polytype. The space-group symmetry of ordered polytypes follows directly from the symbol. A procedure leading to the systematic derivation of all maximum-degree-of-order (MDO) polytypes in the three mica families, based on the order-disorder (OD) interpretation of mica structures, has been developed. There are 6 non-equivalent (8 non-congruent) homo-octahedral, 14 (22) mesooctahedral, and 36 (60) hetero-octahedral MDO mica polytypes. The ideal ditrigonalization of tetrahedral sheets leads to a splitting of the polytypes in any mica family into two subfamilies with octahedral and trigonal prismatic coordination of the interlayer cations, respectively. Es gibt 6 nicht-äquivalente (8 nicht-kongruente) homo-oktaedrische, 14 (22) meso-oktaedrische, und 36 (60) hetero-oktaedrische MOG-Glimmerpolytype. Die ideale Ditrigonalisierung der tetraedrischen Schichten führt zu einer Aufspaltung der Polytype in jeder Glimmerfamilie in zwei Subfamilien mit einer oktaedrischen und einer trigonal prismatischen Koordination der Zwischenschichtkationen. The maximum-degree-of-order (MDO) polytypes in all three mica families have been classified into two subfamilies and five homomorphous MDO groups according to their superposition structure and the YZprojection of their structure, respectively. This classification, which is closely related to the diffraction pattern of micas, can be derived directly from the fully descriptive polytype symbols and facilitates the calculation of the identification diagrams as well as the recognition of the relations of homomorphy between the three mica families. All mica structures refined so far by the least-squares method according to the present standards, are those of MDO polytypes. Полотипы с максимальной степенью упорядочения (МДО-политипы), относящиеся к любому из трех семейств слюд, разделились на два суб-семейства и пять гомоморфных МДО-групп на основе суперпозиционных структур и YZпроекций их структур. Diese Klassifikation, die in enger Beziehung zu den Difffaktogrammen der Glimmer steht, kann direkt von den beschreibenden Polytypiesymbolen abgeleitet werden und vereinfacht die Berechnung der Identifikationsdiagramme sowie die Erkennung der Beziehungen der Homomorphie zwischen den drei Glimmerfamilien. Alle Glimmerstrukturen, die bisher durch die Methode der kleinsten Quadraten gemäß den gegenwärtigen Standard verfeinert wurden, sind die von MOG. Cette classification, qui est apparentée de façon proche au cliché de diffraction des micas, peut être dérivée directement des symboles de polytypes complètement descriptifs, et facilite le calcul des diagrmmes d’identification ainsi que la reconnaissance des relations d’homomorphie entre les trois types de micas.
