The main purpose of this paper is to describe the quasi-statistical convergence of order $\alpha $ in the rectangular cone metric space and investigate some relations of these sequences.

Bu çalışmada, regüler bir matris ve bir Orlicz fonksiyon dizisi yardımıyla üç yeni dizi uzayı tanımlayıp bazı özellikleri incelendi.

We introduce the generalized Riesz difference sequence space which is defined by where is the Riesz sequence space defined by Altay and Başar. We give some topological properties, compute the duals, and determine the Schauder basis of this space. Finally; we study the characterization of some matrix mappings on this sequence space. At the end of the paper, we investigate some geometric properties of and we have proved that this sequence space has property for .

Altay and Başar (2005) [1] and Altay, Başar and Mursaleen (2006) [2] introduced the Euler sequence spaces e0t, ect and e∞t. Başarır and Kayıkçı (2009) [3] defined the B(m)-difference matrix and studied some topological and geometric properties of some generalized Riesz B(m)-difference sequence space. In this paper, we introduce the Euler B(m)-difference sequence spaces e0t(B(m)), ect(B(m)) and e∞t(B(m)) consisting of all sequences whose B(m)-transforms are in the Euler spaces e0t, ect and e∞t, respectively. Moreover, we determine the α-, β- and γ-duals of these spaces and construct the Schauder basis of the spaces e0t(B(m)) and ect(B(m)). Finally, we characterize some matrix classes concerning the spaces e0t(B(m)) and ect(B(m)) and give the characterization of some classes of compact operators on the sequence spaces e0t(B(m)) and e∞t(B(m)).

ÖZET Üç bölümden oluşan, bu çalışmada modular fonksiyonların sayılar teorisinin çeşitli alanlara uygulamaları anlatıldı. Birinci bölümde modular grup ve modular fonksiyonlar tanıtılmış, temel özellikleri verilip bazı modular form örnekleri verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde modular fonksiyonlar ve Dirichlet serileri karşılaş tırılmıştır.Hecke'nin bu iki kavram arasın da bulduğu ilginç sonuçlar verilmiş tir. Dirichlet serisinin fonksiyonel denklem sağlaması, yakınsaklık bölgesi ve analitik devamı gibi birçok bilgiyi bir f (z) modular formun Fourier açılımından söyleyebiliriz. Ayrıca modular formların Fourier katsayıları, sayılar teorisinde önemli rol oynayan bazı aritmetik fonksiyonlar belirtmektedir.Bu katsayıların çarpım3allık özelliği, büyüme mertebesi gibi özellikleri de birçok araştırmanın konusu olmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde kongruans alt grupları, kuadratik formlar, ve bir çeşit Dirichlet serisi olan L-serileri veril di. Sayılar teorisindeki önemli problemlerden biri de bir sayı cisminin sınıf sayısını bulmaktır. H. M. Stark sınıf sayısı ı olan sanal kuadratik sayı cisimlerini modular fonksiyonlardan yararlanarak belirlemiş, ayrıca-sınıf sayısını bulma da önemli rol oynayan L-serilerinin s=-ı 'deki değeri İçin bir formül elde etmiştir. K. Rosen bu çalışmalardan ve Kronecker limit formülünden yararlanarak L(x»X_,Q) 'yü Dede- kind-eta fonksiyonu- -ile tanımlanan bir ^q(z) fonksiyonu nun bir değeri olarak hesaplamıştır. F0(z) fonksiyonlarını sabit- bırakan modular alt grubun bir kongruansalt grup olduğu gösterildi. ABSTRACT This work, which consists of three chapters, con tains a review of applications of modular functions to various `branches of number theory. In the first chapter we introduce the definitions of modular groups and modular functions together with their fundamental properties and some examples* In the second chapter we make a comparison between modular functions and Drichlet Series and give some interes ting results of Heche concerning these two concepts. Various results may he obtained from the Fourier expansion of a modular form f(z). For example the fact that the Dirichlet series satisfies a functional equation, and. information about the domain of convergence and analytic continuity. In. addition, the Fourier coefficients of modu lar forms determine some arithmetic functions which.play:, important roles in number theory`. The multiplicativity property of these coefficients, questions of analytic equality, etc, have been the subject of many researches. In the third chapters we discuss congruence.-` sub groups, quadratic forms and the L-series which is a type of Dirichlet series. An important problem in number theory is the determination of the class number of a number field. Using the modular function H.M.Stark determined the. imagi nary quadratic number fields with class number 1. At the same time he obtained a fourmulae for the L-series, vhich plays an important part in the determination of the class number in the case s=l. Using th&s result and the Kronecherlimit formulae, K. Rosen obtained L(l,%^,Q) as a value of the function Fq(z) defined using the Dedekind-eta function, It has been shown that the modular subgroup left invariant by Fq(z) is a congruence subgroups - 50

In the first chapter, we have given the basic definitions of the rate of convergence of sequences, series and summability methods and we have also stated some known theorems which are related to these concepts. The second and the third chapters include the main results. In the second chapter J we have considered the Cauchy product of the given two convergent series with positive real terms and studied the rate of convergence of the Cauchy product and the each of the given series. Later, we have obtained some char ac tar izations of the rate of convergence of the sequences belonging to a certain subset of the convergent sequences. In the third chapter, we have obtained some results concerning the rate of summability. Furthermore, we have studied the rate of summability of some special summability methods».
